I think as I approach 30 I've convinced myself that popular brain plasticity theory is both real and applicable to what I do, in that the older I get the harder it will be to try new things or to improve in what I want to do with my art. Which isn't true! But it's hard to find the time and energy to really sit down with it these days. When art becomes a source of comfort & relaxation/a creative tool setting aside time to study&experiment feels like more Work, not fun. The greatest minds of this generation have not found a solution to this. (Sarcasm.)
