Do you have any moments in TWDG that gave you chills or left you extremely shocked? For me, the scene at the bridge in episode4 where Minerva comes out of the woods gave me chills and a feeling of dread because in that moment i knew that somebody was gonna die. Especially when Clementine and Louis slowly look over at eachother and they both knew what was going to go down.
Oh I feel that, anon - the bridge scene puts a pit in my stomach. To me it’s just awfully harrowing because you can hear the determination in Minnie’s voice, and she’s got nothing left to lose. So it really does make you worry about what exactly she’s going to do - and the ominous atmosphere of the scene lets you know it’s nothing good.
I will add that my feeling of growing dread actually started in the woods before the bridge, though. Everything was just too pleasant, too lovely, too safe, and what the hell did that AJ choice mean? So that feeling of something bad is about to happen was lingering around for a while. Minnie just decided to answer that particular call.
But as for the series as a whole... there are probably quite a few moments that got visceral reactions out of me - not always chills or shock, but like, I still get a reaction from these scenes even though I’ve played through the series multiple times.
Like, in S1 when Brenda has Katjaa at gunpoint on the stairs in the dairy. They’re silhouetted by the flashing storm outside, and when one of the flashes illuminates the reanimated Mark at the top of the stairwell... it’s such a strong visual and I love it.
This one is probably a bit too specific, but there’s that moment in S2 when Troy grabs Clem by the back of her neck and forces her to walk... and I can’t stand that. I don’t think I can accurately describe how uncomfortable that makes me. So many horrible things happen in that season, but it’s Troy’s mannerisms in regard to Clem that still make me the most tense, all because of that neck grab.
And there’s the Kenny stuff... he just generally makes me mildly uncomfortable, and on a few occasions actively scared me on my first run. While he doesn’t scare me anymore, he does still make me uncomfortable in all the scenes where he makes that face and can berate or hurt Clem. I can deal with it for the most part, but the way he looks at Clem at Parker’s Run... it makes my jaw lock in place. The bad chills with that one.
Oh, also that scene right near the end of S2 when Clem’s walking through the snow and can only see a small area around her - the shadows of walkers wandering around and nothing else as she searches for the rest stop. The stillness and how quiet everything is really gets to me, especially after everything that was just happening. I guess this bit still hits me a little because it really feels like Clem might actually have just lost everyone, and there isn’t a guarantee she’ll find them again. I dunno... that feeling just sticks with me for some reason, if only for a while because everything after that... it’s a thing.
Then you can just put the whole intro sequence of ANF on the list. That was a damn good intro, very chilling to see little Mari talking about her dead grandfather walking around. And the panic is so clear with everyone as stuff starts getting worse. Love it.
And ANF did give me one moment that shocked me horribly - but not in a good way. When you don’t shoot Joan after the execution moment and David decides to just murder Clint... the guy trying to negotiate a peaceful resolution... instead of Joan. This pissed me off, and still pisses me off. So like, this shocked me because how is that a solution?
The Marlon confrontation also shocked me - because unlike other times when characters suddenly died, there wasn’t some enemy force introduced to us yet (aside from Abel, but we had no reason to think he’d choose that moment to show up and stir up trouble). So the idea that Marlon died, and not only from a main character but the one we are told we have complete trust in... it hurts and it is shocking. I think I’ve made it clear before that I wish this was a determinant action, but I get why it’s there and it is well done for what it is.
Then there’s the Parable of the Twins spiel. This doesn’t hit as hard on replays, but the first time around - god damn. Minnie’s delivery of the lines, and all the little changes to her facial expressions... I felt it, ya know?

TWDG’S SURVIVAL GUIDE // OR LACK THEREOF.
This is my attempt (and late start) at NANOWRIMO, going off the TWDG drabble challenge prompt created by @stop-breaking-my-heart-telltale
character(s): Mitch & Louis ship(s):Mitch/Louis (Louitch) word count: 2881 a/n: I've already been outted as Louitch trash on Tumblr, so I decided to dedicate one of these drabbles to them. It's nothing too romancy, I guess, but things are implied. Take it however you want, I guess. Anyway, I got super carried away with this one, and I don't expect any of my other "drabbles" to be quite this long, but who knows? Regardless, I hope you all enjoy!

3 // You Make Me Laugh.
His eyes scan across the name a second, third, and fourth time, and he contemplates ignoring the text, turning his phone off, and going back to sleep.
Mitch: u up?
Despite his first gut instinct, Louis lingers, continuing to stare at the four character text for much longer than necessary. He chews on the inside of his cheek, cursing himself as his curiosity gets the better of him.
A few more seconds pass as he tries to futilely resist the temptation to bite.
He lets out another groan before caving and bringing up his other hand to tap out a message back.
Hook, line, and sinker.
Louis: yeah, why?
Mitch is responding almost instantly and Louis feels immediate dread.
What on Earth is he about to get himself into?
READ ON AO3
He’s nearly asleep when his phone chirps and the screen lights up.
Louis’ battle with insomnia is nothing new. Often times he’ll struggle with it for weeks on end, but, being too stubborn to take anything for it, he allows himself to suffer.
So, naturally, the one night that he actually manages to start drifting off is the night when someone decides to message him.
With a groan, he groggily reaches for his phone, eyes squinting as they fight to adjust to the light of his screen. It takes him a second, but soon enough, he sees just who is messaging him this late.
12:37 AM isn’t that late, Louis realizes, but most people are at home, in bed, asleep at this time— much like Louis, himself; minus the ‘asleep’ part.
Mitch: got u smth Mitch: think ull like it
Now Louis’ interest is really piqued, though he hates to admit it. It’s hard to imagine Mitch getting him anything. Or, well, at one time it might’ve been. As of late, Louis has taken notice of little things here and there. Things such as Mitch messaging him more; randomly giving him things; watching him more… He doesn’t know what to make of it. It’s...odd.
Louis: do you have to show me NOW?
Mitch’s reply is immediate — ‘yes’ — followed by a cascade of others —
Mitch: so get ready Mitch: im on my way to get u
Louis just stares at his screen for a moment, like he can’t believe what he’s reading, before he’s finally typing back.
Louis: it’s almost one in the morning, mitch
Mitch: so???
Louis: SOME of us are trying to sleep
Mitch: well good thing ur already awake then huh?
Louis could strangle him, he swears. He probably would if he didn’t think he’d get his ass handed to him if he tried.
Ultimately, he knows that it’s pointless to tell Mitch no. By now, he’s already on his way over, and will be determined to get Louis out of the house one way or another.
He’s really backed into a corner here.
After a long pause, dramatic groan, and faceplant into his pillow, Louis finally, begrudgingly, responds.
Louis: alright FINE. but you better make this quick
He swears he could chuck his phone across the room when all he gets in response to that is a winky face.
Admittedly, Louis spends more time laying around than he ought to, and it isn’t until his phone is buzzing again with another text that he realizes that he’d dozed off.
He jumps up out of bed before he even reads the text informing him of Mitch’s arrival. He quickly texts back that he’ll be down in a second.
Honestly, he has half a mind just just go in his pajamas, but it’s not exactly warm outside, so he ultimately decides against it, instead, slipping on a pair of jeans and a T-shirt. He practically has to force his feet into his already tied Converse, and is pulling a hoodie on over his head by the time he’s leaving his room.
Most times, Louis finds himself missing his parents with their busy work schedules, but this night in particular, he could not be more relieved by their absence. At least this way he won’t have to risk getting caught.
By the time he reaches the front door and pulls it open, he catches Mitch in the middle of sending another text, but upon seeing that Louis has finally joined him, discards it.
“About time,” he says in place of a greeting.
“What’re you doing here, Mitch?” Louis doesn’t even try to hide the tiredness in his voice.
“Well, I told you I was coming to pick you up didn’t I?”
Louis would love to wipe that ebbing smirk off his lips. He only entertains the thought for a second, however, before he comes to the shocking revelation that Mitch hadn’t driven here.
“Where’s your car?” he asks, as if that will somehow magically produce an answer he would actually want to hear.
Instead, what he gets is; “Didn’t bring it. I walked here.”
“You what?” Idly, Louis wonders if there’s a possibility that his eyes will fall out of their sockets.
“What am I, speaking French?” If Mitch is attempting to be funny, it’s not working. “I walked here, Louis.”
Louis must have a disagreeable look on his face because the next thing Mitch is asking is, “Is that gonna be a problem for you?”
“Oh, no,” Louis replies, unable to keep the sarcasm out of his tone (he blames it on the lack of sleep), “Not at all. In fact, I was actually looking forward to walking however many blocks with you while being sleep deprived and dead tired. That’s really gonna be the highlight of my night.”
Mitch rolls his eyes and scoffs, “Whatever, Smart-ass. Let’s go.”
Without waiting for a response, Mitch starts off down the street, and for a moment, Louis just stands there, bewildered.
“Wha— are you serious, right now?”
When he notices that Louis still hasn’t budged, Mitch stops and turns back to look at him.
“C’mon, Lou! It’s not that far! Just right down the road!”
Louis doesn’t believe him...but he ends up following after him anyway, and internally cursing himself in the process.
Louis takes long strides to catch up, and when he does, he easily falls into step beside Mitch.
He’s silent for a few minutes before a thought occurs to him.
“Hey, wait— I thought you said you had something for me,” he says, casting Mitch a sidelong glance.
His eyes are met with yet another smirk as Mitch winks and says, “You’ll see. It’s a surprise.”
Normally, Louis loves surprises, but coming from Mitch? He’s not so sure. An uneasy feeling swarms around in his gut the more he thinks about it.
“Can’t wait…”
By the time they reach their destination, Louis is decidedly... underwhelmed.
“This?” he asks, incredulously. “This was your ‘Big Surprise’?”
It’s an abandoned building— some old department store that appeared to have not seen any business since the eighties. Louis wasn’t sure why it was still around or why the city hadn’t had it demolished or renovated yet. He wondered how long it would continue to be around before anything was finally done about it.
“Noooot quite,” Mitch responds, simperingly, tearing Louis from his thoughts. “Follow me.”
They walk around to the back of the building where an old, ricketity looking ladder can be seen, clinging to the brick. The paint is mostly all gone, being replaced by a majority of rust, and Louis swears it looks like the thing would poof into dust at even the lightest of touches.
“Up here,” Mitch says, stepping towards said ladder.
“Wait, what—?” Louis’ eyes widen, clearly not liking this idea. It’s not that he’s scared of trespassing, per se, but more so because there’s no way in forty hells that ladder would ever pass a safety inspection. It’s a death trap waiting to happen.
Though it doesn’t seem to deter Mitch.
“You’re not gonna chicken out now, are you?” He teases, already hoisting himself up the ladder. “After you’ve already come so far?”
“No!” Louis replies defiantly. Yes, he may be tired as all hell, and yes, he might think that his chances of falling to his death on this thing is a very real possibility, but if there’s one thing he’s not, it’s a chicken.
So, without giving a second thought, he’s climbing up after Mitch, trying to go as fast and careful as he can. He’s pretty sure he doesn’t actually breathe again until he’s finally on the roof.
He takes a moment to look around.
It’s not that he’s never been on top of a roof before — he’s done plenty of things and been plenty of places that he shouldn’t — but just that he doesn’t know why they’re here.
Mitch sits close to the edge so that he can peer out at the other buildings and everything below them. Soon enough, Louis has joined him. But not before asking, “So why did you bring me here, exactly? To look at the stars? I could do that at home.”
“Just relax and take a seat, wouldja?” Mitch replies flippantly. “That’s not the only reason why I brought you here.”
Louis reluctantly takes his seat and sends Mitch a quizzical look.
“Then why—” He cuts himself off the moment he sees what at first appears to be a cigarette, but definitely isn’t. “—is that weed?!”
“Whoa, hey!” Mitch, despite not needing to, takes a quick look around before fixing Louis with a stare. “Would you keep it down?”
Louis, for once in his life, actually shuts up, just staring, wide-eyed. The look results in an exasperated sigh from Mitch.
“Hey, just— calm down. It’s not a big deal or anything, alright?” He shrugs, before tilting his head back to look up at the stars for a brief moment. “I just like to come up here to think sometimes… And smoking helps me relax. Didn’t think it’d be that big of a deal to you.”
“It’s not,” Louis clarifies quickly. “I mean— I don’t really care, I just— wasn’t expecting it.”
Mitch finally looks back over at him. “Is that right?”
“Yeah—”
“Because it seemed like it was a pretty big deal to you.”
“Well, it’s not,” Louis defends. “Like I said, I just wasn’t expecting it. In fact, I wasn’t expecting any of this. —— So what, this was your plan? Get me up here to look at the stars and watch you smoke weed?”
“Well…” This time, if Louis didn’t know any better, he’d swear that he could see a genuine smile pulling across Mitch’s lips. “No, not exactly. I mean— yeah, stargazing is bound to happen, but I wouldn’t just smoke in front of you like that…”
“Oh—”
“Without offering you some first, at least.”
“... What—?”
Contrary to what some might believe, Louis has never once smoked before. He’s been around people who have, sure, but he’s never personally smoked, himself.
“I know people call me an asshole,” Mitch replies, “but I do have manners… Sometimes.”
“Only sometimes?” Louis teases. “That’s a shocker.”
“Shut up.” Mitch reaches over to give him a light shove. “You want some or not?”
“Oh, uhhh…” Louis shrugs, pretending to mull it over, even though he already knows what he’s going to say. “I...dunno. I wasn’t really planning on it or anything.”
“Have you ever even tried it?” Mitch asks, regarding him curiously. Though, judging by Louis’ reaction earlier, he has a pretty good idea.
“Well, no—”
“It’s really not that bad,” Mitch goes on to explain. “You were complaining about not being able to sleep earlier, right? This would help with that little problem.”
As tempting as that sounds, Louis still hesitates. He doesn’t want to seem like a punk, or like weed even bothers him for that matter, because it really doesn’t. He truly means it when he says that he doesn’t care if people smoke it. His main concern is just how he, personally, will experience it.
He must take too long to give Mitch an answer, because Mitch adds, “Hey, it’s no big deal if you don’t want to. I’m not gonna force ya or anything.”
That said, he decides not to waste any more time, retrieving a lighter from his pocket and lighting the blunt.
For a few moments, Louis just watches him, eyes trained on the rings of smoke that drift from his lips as he exhales. His eyebrows pull together for a second before he finally makes his decision.
“Okay, fine. Hand it over.”
Mitch, genuinely surprised by this, glances over at him, eyebrows raised. “You sure?”
“Yeah, sure,” Louis replies. “I mean, this was a part of what you had in store for me, right? Fuck it. Might as well.”
Mitch can’t stop the beginnings of a grin from tugging at the corners of his mouth.
“Hell, yeah!” he cheers, passing the joint over after one more drag.
Louis hesitates for a moment, before deciding to throw caution to the wind. He’d already come this far, anyway.
Bringing the joint up to his lips, he takes a drag, only to end up going straight into a coughing fit, much to his embarrassment, and Mitch’s amusement.
He can feel his cheeks burn as Mitch’s laughter meets his ears and all he can do is let out a slightly strangled, “Shut up!” as he passes the joint back.
“What?” Mitch asks around a chuckle. “That was funny!”
“Was not!” Louis denies, doing his best to suppress a pout. “I’m just— still getting used to it, that’s all.”
“Wanna try again?” Mitch takes another puff and holds the joint back out to him.
Louis tries again, only to end up with the same results, unsurprisingly.
Mitch laughs again, much to Louis’ chagrin.
“Yeah, yeah— Like you’ve never coughed before.”
Mitch has. He still does sometimes, but he isn’t about to tell Louis that.
“Whatever,” he says, taking the joint back.
That’s when a thought occurs to him.
“Hold up, I’ve got an idea.”
“What?” Louis asks, voice still slightly strained from coughing.
He watches as Mitch takes another drag, holding in the smoke, and the next thing he knows, Mitch is reaching forward, grasping Louis’ face in his hand, and leaning in.
Louis, tense and stiff, unsure what what else to do, opens his mouth to question what Mitch is doing, but before he can, smoke is being blown in his face.
He still coughs a little, but it’s nothing compared to before.
Louis hates the way he can feel his cheeks tingling, and he tries to convince himself that it’s just a side-effect of the weed. It certainly has nothing to do with just how close Mitch had just gotten to his face just then. He doesn’t even like Mitch like that. Oddly matched friends is all that they are as far as Louis is concerned.
“Shotgunning,” Mitch answers Louis’ unspoken question, and the smirk tugging at his lips tells Louis that the color of his cheeks must’ve been more noticeable than he’d like.
“I think I’ll just stick to—”
“Hey!”
Louis swears he’s never nearly jumped out of his skin so fast. He stares, wide-eyed over the edge of the building, seeing a cop below. This is not good for many reasons — far too many to list right now — and judging by Mitch’s sudden outburst of, ‘Oh, fuck!’ he seems to share that sentiment.
“Get down from there!”
Only a beat of silence passes before the two of them jump to their feet and take off running as fast as they can.
Mitch hurries down the ladder, jumping the rest of the way down when he’s halfway. Louis scrambles after him, nearly tripping on his way down. Despite his speed, however, he goes about it much safer, rushing all the way down as cautiously as he can, rather than jump like Mitch had. It’s nearly enough to bite him in the ass, however, as the cop who’d caught them on the rooftop rounds the corner and yells out to them again.
“Hey! Stop!”
They don’t stop. In fact, they only go faster.
Apparently, Louis isn’t running fast enough though, because Mitch is reaching back to snatch up his wrist, pulling him forward in an attempt to make him move even faster. Really, it does nothing more than make Louis trip up more times than he normally would.
But they keep running.
They zip past the corner, and turn down another alleyway, bobbing and weaving until they no longer hear the cop’s voice and footsteps behind them.
They both prop themselves up against two walls of an alley, opposite each other, fighting to catch their breath. Louis notes that his lungs burn as he inhales crisp, cool air, and soon enough, much like before, he’s coughing again.
“Holy shit—!” Mitch exclaims in a gasp. “A-are you okay—?”
Louis tries to respond amidst his coughing, but he can’t.
And then… He’s laughing — much to Mitch’s surprise — a product of the adrenaline coursing through his veins.
It dies down just enough for him to blurt out, “I can’t believe you pulled me out of bed for this! This bullshit !” And then the laughter is picking up again. He can’t stop.
A bewildered grin tugs at Mitch’s lips, and he finds that Louis’ laughter is so contagious that he can’t refrain from joining in.

Ey yoooo! You're art is amazeballs! I'm in AWE of your mad skillz, &hello my fellow TWDG!DuckLives AU fan?!? I'm not the only one who wishes that?!? Also, wild concept but, what do you think an AU where Both Duck & Sarah survive to continue traveling with Clem &AJ would be like? Sarah in S3? S4? How would things change or stay the same d'ya think?
Hey there, anon! Thank you so much! ♥ I’m glad you like my AU!
That’s a really good question actually. I hadn’t thought into it very much, but now that you’ve mentioned it, Sarah would be a very interesting character to see develop and grow, especially with both Duck and Clem around.
Here’s some headcanons for you! ♥(I got kinda carried away with this so there’s quite a lot, I hope you don’t mind fuhishfufhs)
By the end of season 2, Clementine’s relationship with both Sarah and Duck would change drastically based on whether she shoot Kenny or let him kill Jane, and so would their character developments from them on.
They’re both appalled if you choose to shoot Kenny. Since Sarah had developed a good bond with him, and Jane always regarded her as a liability, she would be taken aback by Clementine choosing to save Jane out of the two, especially after what she’d done to AJ. The scene would also bring her back the traumatic memory of what happened to her father, giving her an anxiety attack, as Duck mourns over his father’s dead body and confronts Clem about what she’d done. In this scenario, Duck and Clem’s relationship is greatly damaged for the time being, but can be restored later as Duck gets older and understands why Clementine made that call.
If you chose to let Kenny kill Jane, Duck is relieved, albeit shocked by what his father had done. Sarah is frightened of Kenny’s ruthlessness, and is distrustful of him from then on. You aren’t given the opportunity to leave Kenny behind, but you can still go into Wellington without him later.
A while later, into season 3, Clementine cuts some of Sarah’s hair for safety, like Lee taught her to.
Sarah lost her glasses while fleeing from a pack of walkers, so her vision isn’t as good as it used to be and she’s struck with dizziness constantly, another factor to keep her away from fights most of the time.
If Clem and the others stayed with Kenny instead of going into Wellington, he not only teaches Clementine how to drive, but also teaches Duck how to properly handle a rifle, which he picks up surprisingly fast. Before dying, he also teaches him how to hunt.
As age comes to him, Duck quickly abandons his loud, childish ways, and becomes a strong survivor and a cunning marksman. Kenny jokes that his little duckling is now flying off the water.
Kenny also teaches all of them how to properly handle a baby and all the care needed to keep AJ healthy and happy. Even though it takes a while for her to pick up on everything - and to be able to even carry AJ without getting a bit panicky -, Sarah loves looking out for him once she gets the hang of it. It takes her mind off of everything else going on around her, and they can all agree she looks like a complete different person when she allows herself to relax, picks AJ up in her arms and gives him cute baby talks.
Being older than Clem, Sarah is the first one she could possibly confide to when she ‘starts bleeding’. Sarah is a little (and by a little I mean utterly) embarrassed to talk about that, since she wasn’t ever given a proper explanation on why that happened to her either, but she tries her best to convince Clem that it’s not a big deal - it’s just a bit gross and painful.
When they tried to scavenge the New Frontier’s medicine for AJ, Sarah didn’t take part in it. Despite how much she loved AJ, the thought of going against their rules was beyond her. Of course, she wouldn’t tell on them, but she wouldn’t go along with their plans either.
Sarah was reluctant to leave The New Frontier after Clementine and Duck were kicked out for stealing their medicine. She didn’t want to live out in the woods anymore; without food, or water, or safety, and wanted a place to call home - and to stay with AJ in his final moments. She tried to convince them to take them back, but of course they wouldn’t listen.
Sarah attempts to escape with AJ once she realizes he’s alive and well, and that the illness is gone. The New Frontier catches her in act, and questions her for her treachery. They’re both left at the McCaroll Ranch, not long after.
When Clementine and Duck meet the Garcias, Duck gets to experience what it feels like to be jealous for the first time in his life, as he can’t get over Clem and Gabe’s strangely close bond and tries to step in the middle of it at every given opportunity. He blames it on protective sibling instinct, since he didn’t see Clem under a romantic light.
Come season 4, Clem and Duck have reunited with both AJ and Sarah at the ranch. Duck’s hunting has managed to keep them alive for a good while, even though they need to raction their food very strictly in order to stay alive.
Sarah is nearing young adulthood, and is now more secure of herself and can manage her emotions better, even if anxiety still strikes her more often than not. She can now kill walkers with more ease when necessary, and has a small knife as a weapon of choice; sharp enough to kill, but compact enough to not feel like a killer’s weapon.
She has developed good cooking and nursing skills, and even though they rarely have any medicine, she can improvise stitches and patches with very little material, one of the very few things she got out of The New Frontier, as she sometimes watched Dr. Lingard work when he was not drugged.
Sarah and Duck become polar opposite influences on AJ. Duck would be in favor of teaching him to preserve his own life at all costs, never hesitate, and justify his actions. Sarah, on the other hand, has never been supportive of violence and would stand by thinking before acting, and only resorting to killing when absolutely necessary. This polar dynamic would affect either of them after AJ pulled the trigger on Marlon at the school’s yard, depending on Clementine’s choice to teach AJ to justify or regret his actions.
At Ericson, Sarah wouldn’t talk much to the rest of the kids, and would rather stay on her own as she usually did. She would be very interested in bonding with Ruby, as she also shared the passion for nursing, but would be very intimidated by her attitude at first. Clementine would help her befriend Ruby, who she soon realizes to be really nice and sweet.
Duck wouldn’t get along with anyone at first, mostly because he’s very cold and shut to anyone else except Sarah, Clem and AJ. Clem could also help him make friends, even though it wouldn’t work out well at first. He’d be very dismissive of others’ attempts to befriend him, for the most part.
Duck would absolutely hate Louis at first glance. From the moment he started serenating Clementine, he knew he’d hate that guy’s guts.
Louis does his best to earn Duck’s respect. They’re eventually sent on a hunting party together, and Louis compliments his skills with the rifle, dissing Aasim’s “old fashioned grandma bow” and telling him to grade up. Duck chuckles and compliments him in return on the traps he’d built around the forest, but trying to keep it very lowkey. They eventually become good friends, after a short while.
He’d be very fond of Mitch and Willy. Willy reminded him of himself when he was young. and Mitch’s knife skills catched his eyes almost instantly.
Duck would love Rosie. He had a dog a little before the apocalypse started, which he loved beyond belief. Seeing a friendly dog again after so long made him instantly love her.

Roleplay partners wanted!
My name is Rhys. I am 21 years old, she/her, from the CT, love the color magenta, and own two orange tabbies. I’m looking for partners in my conquest to write! While I can't get responses in every day, I am almost always open to chatter and geeking out about all sorts of things.
I write third person, past/present tense, and paragraph form. I'm a novella-ish writer, and do try to crank out at least four-six paragraphs each time I get a response in. Like previously mentioned, I want to stress that while I can't respond every day, everything I do write is full of TLC! I always want to mention this to partners beforehand, because I know some people would rather do rapid fire responses than one or two a week. My limits are pretty general; toilet stuff is a no-no. I don't like to write out top/bottom stereotypes or "seme/uke" tropes. Beastiality, pedophilia, and the like are icky things I would rather avoid.
I write for all genders, ethnicity, and orientations! I am open to any pairings, and beyond that, varying genres.

LIMITS

No unrealistic stereotypes of queer relationships, please. Yaoi, yuri, seme/uke, etc. Can't do that. Characters need to both have versatile roles; switching, so it's fair for everyone. Though, my characters do tend to be a lot more dominating!
{{Very welcoming of BDSM, dom/sub, but this does not mean someone needs to be penetrated every single time in order for the dom to dominate. Get it? This can also apply to heterosexual relationships. I would literally love to see female characters who top, if you know what I mean. If given the chance, I will definitely have dom!females in bdsm-related situations}}
Furries; blegh, no thanks. Beastiality, nekos, anything of sexual animal-related nature is a no-go, fam.
Vore, scat, bathroom stuff, pedophilia. You know the drill! ((I am not opposed to consensual, legal age and non-reproducing incestuous relationships in FICTION! Sex is fine, just no children resulting from it. Reminder; this is fictional.))
Okay, so despite those few limits, I am actually pretty welcoming of anything else. Smut, of course. Some kink a little out there that you want to suggest? Let's do it, dude. I am open to polyamorous relationships, any queer shit you're willing to throw at me lmao I am super OOC friendly and I am pretty much a garbled mess when I get to know you! I am open to crooked relationships, ones that don't function right, fluff and all cuteness, unconditional love-- my interests fluctuate! I am down, 24/7, guys! Here's a list of fandoms and pairings below.

Some basic ideas that I do have pretty big doc ideas for;
A few marine biologists go to an island off the coast to study the marine life there, which in turn, turns out to be something much bigger. (Mermaid/siren prompt!)
Soul mates; it can be like some of those AU’s where you don’t see color until you meet them, your tattooed timer counts down until then, or maybe even soulmates continuously reincarnating and one of the two has killed them for centuries in order to be “immortal”. For the first time, the victimized partner gets close enough that the other begins to fall and they start aging, together.
Character A has an awful time living in the city; alone, and without mom's guidance, completely lost. One day they receive a call about a deceased relative, one they'd never heard of and apparently left their estate and everything in their will to A. With nothing but the clothes on their back, A took a shot and drove out to this presumed "estate", only to find that it's a mansion in a tiny little town with an eerie vibe and populated by the typical small town churchgoers and farm folk. Living in this town was a hell of a challenge; everyone was nice, too nice, and people were missing. Character B is an exceptionally charismatic, charming person and the only mechanic/handyman in town. A and B become friends, partially, when A needs to fix up the piping in their estate. A stumbles upon the attic one day, and for once, they start to get why this whole town reeked to the roots in weird shit-- their deceased relative was tracking something here in this town, having to do with all of the MIA townsfolk. DR has a board of possible suspects, and at the center? B. OSJFODSFHSDJSODFJD!!! Bonus content: B is, in fact, not the murderer, instead a vampire on a mission to track down the monster, same as DR. small towns give me honey moon vibes and I??? am so down for some kinky, albeit eventually fluffy romance between people who are trying to make it work. I actually have a doc for both TBD characters and a location. None of this is set in stone, so please share your thoughts.
A doesn’t have any memories of their life, only being conscious and staring down at a mutilated body in a ditch. When they meet B, they learn why; welcome to limbo, they say. You just died. A has unfinished business; finding out who murdered them, why, and what else is holding them here. B is a reaper intent on helping lost souls pass over-- they were never born, and A shows them the delights of life before it’s taken. B learns to love A, and A doesn’t want to leave limbo. While A’s soul is clinging between realities, B must make a pivotal decision; squeezing tight on the concept of love, and letting A go. (BONUS!! REINCARNATION; A & B ARE GIVEN THE GIFT OF LIVING AGAIN, TOGETHER.)
Coming of age story between two childhood friends who are separated by circumstance, and after ten years, reunite and learn that your first love doesn’t have to be the one that got away.
Two friends drop their whole lives to go on a road trip once they turn thirty-- they elope together, leaving their unhappy lives behind them and in this grand scheme of mental breakdowns and tearful smiles, they find that love may be the only cure to a broken existence.
In a post-apocalyptic world where a pandemic has killed off most living species, Character A is a lone wolf with little to do with other people that don't benefit him, except for a select few. A is especially rough around the edges, as he's lived through some sick shit and lived to tell the tale. A had once been part of a group dedicated to finding a cure, but things went south, and a lot of people died. A had a close bond with the leader of said group, and coincidentally they were the only survivors. Their past together, having been deeply demented and twisted, caused them to fall out. Said leader has rebuilt a new group in the ten years since the last time they'd seen A. Character B is the only known immune person alive, and has dedicated their life to being a resource to finding a cure. A and his (current) contact/partner in crime have something taken from them, and are determined to get it back. They do some searching, and are confronted with this group-- they have what they need, but are only willing to give it to them for a favor in return. No one can outrun their past forever. (Last of Us-inspired!)
An architect/treasure hunter is being funded an expedition to find a lost treasure and they are forced to bring along a reporter in order to receive the funds. the reporter and architect certainly don't get along in the beginning— they bicker, and clash on most fronts. the expedition wasn't meant to be dangerous. what was initially thought to be a simple job turned into something treacherous; bandits, a team of hired hitmen and their leader looking to take the treasure for themselves, and some rather supernatural elements that they both couldn't quite put a finger on. the treasure hunter and the reporter have to work together to get out of this alive, and get to the artifact before someone else does.
..and many more!! Thanks so much! If you've read through, please contact me at [email protected] and mention kiwi somewhere in your email. n_n
Rhys xoxo
