Happily ever after
Theodore Nott x Reader wedding headcanons
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Warning: 18+, MDNI, slight smut, fluff, wedding, marriage, groom!Theo, wedding!theo
- The night before your wedding, he cuddles you constantly, never letting go. Leaving the sweetest kisses along your jaw line. “ti amo così tanto, tesoro”
- You wake up to homemade breakfast on your nightstand, a hand written letter from Theo. “I can’t wait to marry you.”
- Theo gives you your time in the morning, to get ready with your girlfriends. Meanwhile he’s nervous with the guys. Not nervous to marry you. But nervous you’d eventually leave him
- The boys all reassure him, and he calms down before the ceremony. And of course Mattheo assures him he DOES have the rings
- He waits at the alter, holding both hands in front of himself. Palms sweating. But then he sees you. Ethereal. Heavenly. Goddess like.
- “I won’t cry, it’s a happy moment. How can I cry?” That went out the window the second he saw you in the white wedding gown. tears of love and joy pricking his eyes while you slowly glide down the aisle.
- The second you reach his side, he grabs your hand, planting a sweet kiss to the top of it. “sei assolutamente bellissima”
- The entire ceremony is filled with stolen glances from Theo. He can’t keep his eyes off of you. Your beauty overwhelming in this best way possible.
- The first kiss, he carefully slides one hand along your hip while his other hand tenderly caresses the back of your head. He dips you gently, allowing your bodies to meld into each other, as he presses his lips to yours in a passionate, ardent kiss filled with overflowing love and desire.
- When you do your grand entrances he’s thrilled to show off his stunning new wife. Mrs.Nott. Spinning you over to the cake where you both cut into it perfectly. Feeding it to each other as both of your laughter fills the air.
- All during dinner, Theo keeps one hand on your thigh, over the material of your dress. Wanting just the simplest touch from you.
- Your first dance together is sweet, Theo guiding you across the dance floor gracefully. Feeling the two of you become one. The love was radiating off of you both, even the guests feeling it.
- Once the festivities actually begin, you and Theo never leave the dance floor, having the time of your lives together. But he always has his hands on you. The whole night. No matter what.
- After Mattheo gives his speech, that man gets absolutely sloshed. Hammered and stumbling around. But not in an annoying way, but in an absolutely hilarious way.
- During the garter toss, Theo does a seductive yet silly dance, being playful with it. He takes off his suit jacket. Trying to turn up the heat with you while heading under your dress. But before he snatches the lace garter, he makes sure to leave three kisses along your upper thigh. I. Love. You. That was always his little thing with you.
- The guys all line up as Theo throws the garter and to everyone’s surprise, Blaise is the one to be catching it. Holding it up with a prideful smirk before placing it on his bicep.
- At the send off, the guests line up with sparklers, you both waltz within them. The glowing crackles burning brightly when all of a sudden, fireworks go off over head. “Surprise, amore.” Theo had surprised you with a firework show at send off. Dipping you into a loving kiss.
- Once the festivities end, you head to your hotel suite, and Theo doesn’t waste anytime. Slamming his lips against yours in a heated and rough kiss.
- He would definitely fuck you in your wedding dress. Throwing it up over your waist as he bends you over. Exploring every inch of you. “I’m fucking MY wife tonight. Misses fucking Nott.”
- Theo would take his time, going from rough to loving. Combining both of the sensations for you. Not being able to keep his hands off of you. And of course, this is an all night thing.
- The aftercare? It’s always been amazing, but on this special night, he draws you a relaxing bubble bath, red rose petals floating atop the still water. Candles lit around the entire bathroom while he holds you. Carefully washing and massaging you. Placing kisses on all of the marks he left you from the sex. But paying close attention to one mark in particular…the sparkling diamond wedding ring.
I know I know, mostly fluff and cuteness😭 But this idea came to mind last night and I HAD to do it! I hope you all enjoy sweet wedding!theo as much as I do 🥹🤍

Top 10 Most “Kudos-ed” (Completed) Fics on AO3 of 2024:
BLOODY, SLUTTY, AND PATHETIC by WhatMurdah - E, 21 chapters, Words: 195,969 - “In my humble opinion there’s only three things that men should be and that is bloody, slutty, and pathetic.” And, on a good day, Draco Malfoy can be all three. When war heroine Hermione Granger and Azkaban-tattooed war criminal Draco Malfoy are forced to wed as part of Shacklebolt’s controversial Reconciliation Act, they openly fight the match and each other—their public brawls breathlessly reported by the press. Secretly, a deeply traumatized Draco delights in Hermione’s attention and pines for a real marriage with her—even as her forced proximity to the Black family magic irritates the cursed scar Bellatrix left on her arm, reminding her why she can never truly trust or forgive him. Then Hermione discovers that Draco’s blood will soothe the scar . . . and Draco is willing to trade his blood for her body. (With post-war blood purity politics, black market potioneers, Pansy Parkinson’s career advice, the Malfoys blackmailing Hermione’s Wizengamot opposition, BDE Neville Longbottom hunting Death Eaters, a slutty Theo Nott serving as Draco’s right-hand man, and Crookshanks loose in Malfoy Manor.)
The Gallows by gillianeliza - E, 23 chapters, Words: 47,332 - Five years after the Battle of Hogwarts the Ministry of Magic has one more wizard to bring to trial: Draco Malfoy. However, it's not a trial they're after, it's a spectacle to celebrate the end of the Death Eater regime with the execution of their final prisoner. When Hermione realizes their plan, she halts the trial and invokes The Gallows Law — an ancient law that pardons any pureblood male without an heir if a witch will marry him. What Hermione isn't ready for is the reality of bonding a broken, shell of a wizard and her new life as she moves into Malfoy Manor as the new Lady Malfoy.
Meet Me In Dreamland by sinflower81 - E, 39 chapters, Words: 229,631 - If there’s one thing Hermione Granger is good at, it’s using magic to fix her problems. And this time, her problem is sex. Luckily, she has the perfect solution: a locket enchanted with the Patented Daydream Charm. Whenever she opens it, she’ll find herself in Dreamland, where she can live out all her filthiest fantasies risk-free. The magic is a bit tricky, though. For some reason, Malfoy keeps showing up there with her. Thank goodness it’s only an illusion—if that was really him, she would never live it down. Meanwhile, Draco is determined to figure out who the fuck is cursing him to suffer through highly realistic, erotic hallucinations of his secret childhood crush. When he finds the culprit, there will be hell to pay.
The Missing Sister by singularritae - M, 75 chapters, Words: 652,727 - The owl appeared late at night and left just as suddenly, he recognised the handwriting immediately and ripped open the envelope. She is yours. If something happens to us, I want you to hide her. Name her Hermione, for she will have my last libation before I sleep and be the messenger of dreamers. Moony and Mary know. Three words. Three words that forever changed the course of the war.
A Gallows Marriage by MilaBelle - E, 31 chapters, Words: 162,244 - “Glee was the last thing she felt staring into the empty eyes that should have been a bright grey. His face had always looked pointed and sharp, but now that gave way to gauntness. His hair, which he had been so particular about in school, hung long and limp. It reminded her of how his father had looked in his mugshot. How he had wanted to be just like his father growing up. And now he was, maybe more than ever. A ghost.” After doing more than her fair share in saving the Wizarding World and bearing the scars of what it cost, Hermione Granger thinks she has earned herself a little respite. But when a charismatic albeit chaotic Theodore Nott convinces her to use an old law to save a dear friend who is about to meet the Dementor’s Kiss, she simply cannot stand by and watch. Follow Hermione as she navigates a world that still believes in blood status, a marriage to save the life of an old enemy and the hurt that comes with surviving.
an ever-fixed mark by ninepiecesofcrait - E, 28 chapters, Words: 208,118 - It was a comedy of errors how Hermione Granger ended up engaged to Draco Malfoy, really. A series of unfortunate events. // Malfoy looked at his bloodied hand and the ring on the cobblestone floor, and sighed. “Well, Granger.” Grey eyes finally raised to look at her. “Now look what you’ve done.” // [while working to break a curse in malfoy’s cellar, hermione accidentally touches an enchanted betrothal heirloom from the noble house of black. things rapidly fall apart from there.]
The Best Mistake by Chels_Writes_a_Fic - E, 26 chapters, Words: 127,444 - Hermione Granger does not make mistakes, at least not often. After making the biggest, dumbest, most horrible mistake of her life, Hermione must deal with the repercussions while keeping her relationship with her Auror partner, Draco Malfoy, strictly professional. He, of course, has other plans. Amidst a resurgence in Death Eater activity, the likes of which Britain hasn’t seen since the First Wizarding War, Hermione will come to realize that the mistake she’s made with Draco might not be so bad at all. It just might be the best mistake.
disparate by Stars_in_motion - E, 4 chapters, Words: 40,708 - au where omegas who go neglected by their alpha for a long time often go into breakthrough heats when being around a different, compatible alpha who displays one (1) caretaking trait around them "You– you brought me supper?" Malfoy eyed her warily. "Don't look so stricken. Do you think I haven't noticed you've been starving yourself for days? You were at your desk when I arrived this morning and haven't moved since." He opened the box of fruit and plucked out a single grape with his sinfully long fingers. Still seated in her desk chair, Malfoy loomed over her entirely so she couldn't look anywhere else. Sometimes it was easier to forget how large he really was. "Now eat."
Mind the Bump by Soap1 - E, 28 chapters, Words: 84,050 - Hermione Granger and her colleague (and, though she sometimes hates to admit it, her friend) Theo Nott, are busy at the Research Institute for the Alchemical Sciences, working together on an innovative, though secretive, project that more than one person might like to get their hands on. She doesn't have much time for dating, and certainly isn't ready to think about starting a family. But after an exciting, though unexpected, one-night stand, she finds herself pregnant. With Draco Malfoy's baby. As her research continues, as her pregnancy progresses, will she be able to make room for Draco in her life?
Détraquée by Hystaracal - M, 108 chapters, Words: 728,097 - "All her growth was the conveying of a corpse of hope." (From 'The Rainbow', D.H. Lawrence) This is a story about coming into one's own, a meditation on the twilight of girlhood and the violence of crash-landing into womanhood. Follow Hermione as she navigates through the quagmire: Saving the world, getting top grades, falling in love, lust, and a whole lot of trouble, and comes out of it hopefully (at least) partially sane.

Ride || Theodore F. Nott
Tumblr media
Summary: An arranged marriage between two Pureblood families is almost common, but what happens when a sudden infatuation is brought into the mix.
Set after the Battle of Hogwarts!
Warnings: Sexual content, smut, Mentions of violence, angst, unhealthy relationship, Theo is obsessed with his wife
—————————————————————————
Theo felt himself slipping away. Not quite how he did when he’d received the Dark Mark, and not quite how he did when he watched the life vanish from his mother’s eyes. This time, it felt different.
He watched you through foggy window panes in the dewy spring mornings and from across the dining table as you ate breakfast. He couldn’t stop watching you, and it drove him insane. His wife drove him insane. Of course he’d heard such sentences from his father’s colleagues and other men who complained, but those feelings were nothing alike Theo’s. Not like the pang in his heart when he watched you in the grassy fields of the estate or the fondness disguised by hard eyes as you exchanged pleasantries like strangers. After all, you really were strangers.
But Theo had come to know you like you didn’t even know yourself. To him, you were anything but a stranger.
He couldn’t even count the amount of times that he had dreamt of you sleeping beside him, feeling your warmth, imagining what it would be like to kiss you and please you like any husband would wish to, Merlin, like any man who lay eyes upon you would. If it weren’t for your complete lack of interest in him, he would have asked you to have your way with him already, but ever since the wedding, you hadn’t been interested in going near him at all. He couldn’t blame you, at first he had been opposed to marrying so young, claiming that his father was taking away his freedom, stripping him of his youth and leaving him to be stuck with a stranger in his house. But, oh, how wrong he was.
You were a delight, a pure and innocent light in the darkness of the family estate. You brought with you little possessions, maybe only a few dresses and boxes of trinkets, but you gave life to the creaking floorboards and dusty walls. In a matter of months, you’d planted flowers and fruit trees, stripped the dark rooms of misery and replaced it with sunlight and brighter decor. All of a sudden, the fires were lit and the house no longer sent a chill down your spine. That, at least, Theo could be grateful for.
Taking note of the subtle changes made, he always made sure to thank you with something or another, whether it be silky gowns, sparkling jewellery, shoes or perfume. But none of it seemed to impress you.
As time went on, Theo became aware of your distaste towards his expensive gifts and tried everything he could to satisfy you from an arms length, but it was difficult. When he’d been in school, a pretty bracelet would have been enough to get a girl to want him, but it seemed that there was nothing that he could give that made you want him. So he decided on giving you the only thing he could think that you’d want from him; space.
In leaving you alone, he began to observe you whenever he could, and in doing so, he started to understand that you didn’t desire dresses or sparkles to admire yourself in, though he did see you trying his previous gifts on in front of the mirror with a grin, and instead he realised that you enjoyed sitting in the library with a book or lounging in the garden eating fruits.
He admired you every day when you wore your lacy white dresses in the spring sunshine, hair falling over your sun-kissed shoulders. He admired you as you sipped at the fresh lemonade the house elves had prepared and watched as your soft lips enveloped the glass. He admired you as you lounged in the living room with bare feet on the oak floor. He even admired you in your bedroom from time to time as you slept, praying to Merlin that you wouldn’t wake up as he smoothed gentle fingers over your temple.
Sometimes, though, he wished that you would wake up, catch him in the act. He wondered what you’d say, how your face would contort into confusion or shock, he wondered if you’d let him stay. So, as time went on, he visited you every night whilst you slept, enjoying the close calls and nervousness that ran through him at the thought of you waking up. He took pleasure in the thumping of his heart and how you stirred in your sleep from time to time as the mattress dipped beside you. Every night, he wanted to kiss your plump lips as you slept, wondering if the action would wake you or if you’d be angry if he did. He knew it’d be wrong, but he couldn’t help how much he wanted to kiss your beautiful lips and freckled skin.
He imagined how it’d feel to run his lips and tongue over your body, lose himself in the supple curves of your hips and breasts or in the soft feeling of your hair. Sometimes he’d dream it too and wake up sticking to his sheets with a mixture of sweat and precum. It was a guilty pleasure to relieve himself thinking of you and everything he did to you in his imagination.
You were a sinful temptation wrapped in pure white bedsheets and gowns, tormenting him until he had to excuse himself from dinner with a swollen cock and a pink face.
His wife drove him insane. And she was oblivious.
One night, as Theo dodged the creaky floorboards outside of your bedroom, he heard it. The soft sigh falling from your lips, indicating that you weren’t asleep. The warm light emitting from the ajar door drew him in, enticing him into pushing gently against the barrier between him and you. And upon opening the door, he saw you.
You lay spread across the bed, hair framing your head like a shining halo in lamplight as your nightgown was pulled up to your stomach, held in place by one hand whilst the other reached between your open legs, though the sight was obscured by the flesh of your thigh as you lay parallel to the door.
Theo cursed mentally, wishing that you’d lay with your head on your pillow so that he could really see what your hand was toying with. He felt himself grow hot and shifted as his trousers tightened uncomfortably, alerting you of his presence when you heard the creak of a floorboard. Fuck. You looked at him with wide eyes, a deer caught in headlights as you ripped your small hand from between your thighs. Before you could even begin to stutter, Theo chocked out a bashful ‘Sorry’ before turning and slamming the door behind him.
In that moment, he wished that the ground would swallow him up. He had never been so shy around a girl, especially one that was lying, touching herself in his house, not that there had been any before. His head softly thumped against your door as he slumped back. But he didn’t have much time to feel sorry for himself as your door opened suddenly.
He spun to look at you. It had seemed that you’d smoothed down your wild hair before coming to find him as it hung over your shoulders like usual. Your eyes met his in the darkness of the hallway and he nearly collapsed. Between the blood from his head running to his groin and the look in your eyes, he thought that maybe he would collapse, but he cleared his throat and straightened up to his full height to look down at you with his usual stoic expression.
Your eyes trailed down his neck, to his chest and then, they looked straight down to the sizeable bulge in his slacks. He had worn neatly ironed trousers and a button down shirt to visit his father that day, and secretly wished that he had changed his clothes before coming to see you that night. It would have been more comfortable for his raging hard-on.
“Would you like to come in?”
Theo’s prayers must have been answered, because your soft voice lead him through your doorframe. He barely even registered what was going on until he was sat on your mattress like many nights before, but this time, you were awake, looking at him with lustrous eyes and flushed skin on your cheeks, neck and…
You leaned into him once he was settled on your bed and brushed your damp lips onto his own. His jaw hung open and his eyes were wide as they looked at you. This must have been a dream.
Surely he was awake judging by the feeling of your lips on his own and the hammering of his heart and the throbbing between his legs. You kissed him with fervour, running your hands over his shoulders tenderly and Theo sighed at the feeling of your touch, it was something he hadn’t felt before. You hadn’t even touched him during the wedding, not even for a dance, let alone at night. You had never consummated your marriage and he had never been so aware of the fact. He leant into your hands, chest rising and falling heavily as his head spun and his body overheated.
You hushed him quietly, running your hand through his brown curls and straddling his lap quickly, sighing as you felt the bulge in his lap against your bare core beneath your night dress. It had been drilled into your head that as a Pureblood woman, you must remain as pure as possible until you were inevitably married off, meaning you’d never been in any position similar to this. You didn’t even know what to do with the boy who began to run his rough hands over your back as he hungrily kissed you. But something about the situation made you giddy, here he was, you could finally have him all to yourself. The gorgeous, brown-haired beauty you’d snagged up.
You ground down into his lap on instinct, something sparking deep inside of you at the sound of his throat emitting a deep noise. Your mouth hung agape, breathing hot air onto the column of his neck once you’d tugged his hair back to reveal the expanse of his skin.
Theo felt like prey under your scorching touch. He wanted nothing more than to feel what you had been touching so dearly before he’d interrupted you. He wondered what it looked like, what it smelled like, what it tasted like. Merlin, how he wanted to taste it. To have what he’d imagined so vividly above him, restricted by nothing but a layer of clothing drove him to insanity. He couldn’t help but rut into you from where he sat below you.
He felt the pressure of your palm on his chest, encouraging him to lay his back against the silk sheets. Theo was down, obeying your every wish as you kissed fiercely, hands claiming every inch of his burning body, fiery like a sinner in church, your fingertips the devil, searing the flesh from his bones and torturing him in ways incapable of any human being responsible of.
His body throbbed, lungs heaving and struggling and his heart hammering against his ribcage. His legs and hands shook like they never had before and Theo did wonder why his body reacted the way it was.
Your lips let a soft sound pass through them again as his hips jolted, the bulge in his trousers pressed at the perfect angle, his cold belt buckle rubbing against your slick clit with a pleasurable shock. The boy was almost thrashing beneath you as he was oh, so eager to hear the noise again. His large hands encouraged you to press down against his need, spurring a deep sigh from him. You didn’t know why you hadn’t done this before.
“Is this what you imagine when you watch me?” You asked, and his body stilled minus the shivering of his hands and legs.
A frown dragged at his brow as you pulled your warm face away from his. “I-What?”
You grinned devilishly. “Did you think I wouldn’t notice how you sneak in here each night? Now answer me, is this what you imagine?”
The air was knocked out of him when your body ground down onto his again, forcing the answer out of him. He wheezed, “Yes!” His head falling back harshly onto the pillow as his eyes scrunched closed as if it hurt to watch you work atop of him. Your hand threaded through his curls, scraping gently at his scalp and tipping his head aside, revealing the moles scattered up his throat. You hungrily attack the expanse of his neck, leaving him purple and pink.
His body fell slack, allowing you to take him in any way that you pleased. With your mouth against his neck and your pussy against his groin, he felt himself grow closer and closer to succumbing to his own pleasure. The white hot light in his eyes grew closer and his mouth tasted the familiar sweetness of lust, all he needed was for you to keep going, then he was sure to release all tension. He needed it more than he’d needed anything before.
Theo tried to call out, but his breath was gone and his head span in circles, so all that could be said was nothing but the most pathetic noises he’d made. He whined as you scratched circles into his hair and bruised his neck with your sweet mouth. He pawed desperately at your body atop of him, searching for any way to force you harder onto his swollen length.
You felt his body shake and his chest rattle with unsure breaths, so hesitantly, you slowed your hips until you halted, appreciating the groan that slipped past Theo’s lips at the lack of friction.
Hushing him gently with a finger over his lips, you smiled sweetly at him. His eyes were bleary and almost unfocused as he looked up at you. A careful hand reach up to smooth over your face in attempts to bring you back down to his lips, but it was to no avail. He breathed out a tiny noise of complaint.
You brushed over his face gently. “I just need you to be quiet, Love, can you do that?”
It felt nearly as if he was in pain without the feeling of your hips rocking onto him, but he obeyed, nodding his head vigorously.
“Good.” You whispered, lifting yourself from him. Theo nearly complained until he realised where you were steadying yourself.
Your knees dug into the mattress on either side of his shoulders, wetness hovering over his shirt and he nearly thought he was about to pass out.
“Allow me?” You ask him. You knew the answer, but you waited quietly for his response.
“Fuck! Yes.” He twitched beneath your legs.
Slowly, almost teasingly, you found the end of your nightgown with your fingers. You toyed with the hem, brushing the soft lace against his clean-shaven chin as his jaw slackened. His mouth was open, heaving in breaths as his eyes watched intently as you lifted the gown up to your belly. Theo was downright salivating at the sight of your pretty little pussy right in front of him. He slid a hand from your backside, all the way up the front of your stomach, taking the nightgown from your hand and pulling it over your head. He hungrily stared over your body, drinking in your beautiful skin and rivets and dips.
His large hands dragged over your sides until they parted, one trailing down to your hip and the other to your full chest. His mouth was ready to feel you, to map out the entirety of your core, ready in his mind to remember when he sinfully touched himself.
Your hands reached to the headboard, pulling yourself up the the pillows, where his head lay, and you lowered yourself onto his eager mouth.
Instantly, his lips engulfed your clit, suckling at it as his hands held your hips firmly over him. As soon as he touched you, you couldn’t help but moan at the feeling. His tongue lapped at you with boiling hot accuracy and you fell victim to the wet sounds of your bodies connecting.
Your head lulled to the side, body weakened at the pleasure he was giving to you. His tongue ran in vigorous circles and you ground against his face in an attempt to make him lick harder.
Your forehead rested on the headboard, knuckles whitening as the sounds were becoming more and more obscene. Theo pressed you down harder onto him and between licking at your sensitive pussy, he sucked harsher and harsher. Your pearly juices were helping you slide over his mouth but he didn’t care that it was coating him more and more as he encouraged you to press onto him. The taste of you was sure to linger on his tongue, and he welcomed the thought eagerly.
His teeth grazed against your skin and you whined, reaching a hand down to his locks, hoping that just your hand would comfort him slightly despite the rough grinding of your pussy on his face. But by the desperate sounds he was making, he didn’t seem to mind at all.
The mixture of your juices and his saliva dripped down his neck and onto the pillow. His chest heaved up and down relentlessly as he awaited your climax. He wanted nothing more than to make you come.
He moaned into your pussy, the vibrations of his deep voice sending a shiver through you. Your entrance was beating and you could your thighs feeling light at his continuous movements. You were close.
Once you felt the familiar sensation run through you, your other hand came down to grip at his hair as you jerked over his jaw, thighs clenching around his head. Theo felt you squeeze his head, causing an odd lightheadedness to come over him, but not just in his head.
His legs went numb and his vision blurred as his cock leaked spurts of hot cum into his underwear. You still hadn’t stopped grinding on his face, feeling the last of your orgasm as he rode his out all the same. He shook gently, sucking harshly on your clit as you squealed at the sensitivity.
You soon came back down, legs shaking, still squeezing your husband’s head. You quickly realised how red his face was becoming and you were sure that you were killing him. Your legs quickly swung back over him and you sat beside him, viewing the result of your orgasm. His face was pink and his mouth hung open, taking in as much air as possible. His face was covered from his neck to his cheeks with slick and his eyes were closed shut. That was when you noticed the dark stain on his slacks.
You hoped to see him in your bed again.

I can hear the bells TN x reader
Theo Nott Oneshot.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
...
There he was in all his glory, smile beaming, hair slicked back with that effortless elegance that made your heart flutter. A vision of what you’d always yearned for: Theodore Nott, standing at the altar, looking as if he’d just stepped out of your wildest daydreams.
You inhale deeply, the air thick with the scent of roses and whispered promises. This is it—you’re really getting married. It felt so surreal.
As you glance around the room, the soft glow of candlelight dances on the polished wood, casting a warm hue over the gathered friends and family, their smiles like sunshine piercing through clouds. Each face reflects the joy of the moment, but all you can focus on is him. Your heart pounds in your chest as you look down at your bouquet, a cascade of white peonies and deep crimson roses, the perfect contrast to your dress.
Finally, you lift your gaze, locking eyes with Theo. In that instant, the world falls away, and it's just the two of you. His deep-set eyes glimmer with unshed tears, his expression a mixture of awe and love. As you begin to recite your vows, emotion swells in your throat, choking you up. You can’t help but tear up as you promise him forever, your voice thick with emotion.
Theodore’s voice wavers as he speaks his vows to you, each word heavy with sincerity, wrapping around you like a warm embrace. It’s perfect; he is perfect.
“Now, you may kiss the bride,” a voice rings out, and you feel your heart leap as you lean into him. The kiss is electric, sweeping you off your feet and igniting a spark deep within. You melt into him, the world around you fading as the bells start to ring, echoing joyously through the air, a symphony to mark your union.
Chime, chime, chime.
You pull back, breathless and beaming, your hands entwined with his as you walk down the aisle, the bells ringing louder, enveloping you in their sweet sound.
But then—
“Shouldn’t they have stopped playing those bells by now?” you laugh, turning to Theo, whose smile is contagious.
He only grins, leaning in closer, but your vision starts to blur, and the sweet sound of the bells is still there, persistent, relentless.
Chime, chime, chime.
“Turn off the alarm, darling,” Theodore murmurs, sleep heavy in his voice as he turns over, arms wrapping around you tighter.
“Hmmm,” you respond, half-asleep, trying to shake the haze of slumber from your mind. The dream had to be real—the bell’s chime still reverberating in your ears, a lingering memory of what you had just experienced.
“Baby, the alarm,” Theodore repeats, his voice a gentle rumble as he leans over to turn it off. Reality crashes in, and you realise you’ve dreamt it all. It wasn’t wedding bells; it was your fucking alarm.
With a groan, you rub your eyes, staring at your surroundings—the familiarity of your room and the warmth of Theo beside you, warm and bare.
“What’s wrong?” he growls, pulling you back against his chest, his voice laced with sleep.
“No,” you whine, a small cry escaping as the weight of disappointment settles in your chest. You can almost feel the dream slipping away like sand through your fingers. It had been so perfect; you really thought it was real.
Theodore senses your distress, feeling your face scrunch against him. “Baby, what’s wrong?” His voice is soft, laced with sleepy concern.
“I was having the best dream—we were getting married and—” you begin, the memory washing over you like a warm tide, bittersweet and beautiful.
“Oh, hunny,” he coos, his voice soothing as he runs a hand through your hair. “Go back to sleep and dream on. It will happen, alright?” He tightens his hold around your waist, grounding you in the moment.
“Let’s just finish school first, alright? Go back to sleep,” he mumbles, his breath warm against your neck, pulling you closer as the remnants of your dream linger in the air.
You huff, shutting your eyes tightly, desperate to conjure the enchanting imagery of your wedding day once more. You long to drift back into that blissful dream.

attending Mattheo's wedding with Theo makes you realise you're not the girl he could truly build a happy life with (angst)
sweet?! (Part 2)
"In short," Theo continued, as if you hadn't spoken, "you want me to treat her like I do you."
He tilted his head.
"Why is that? Do you feel...betrothed to me? Or, perhaps, you consider me your boyfriend? Since we're being honest, and all."
you may not be the one dating theodore nott but you'd be damned if you let anyone think of him as sweet (fluff, slight angst, unacknowledged pining)
unadulterated loathing (Part 1) ⚡️
"She's doing this to me and she's doing it on purpose."
Mattheo had creased his forehead.
"Like a...like a hex?"
"No," Theo had said, distractedly scratching the hive that had appeared on the back of his hand. "It's worse than a hex. My pulse is rushing, my head is reeling, my face is flushing..."
"...oh," Mattheo had said, realisation dawning upon him. "I get it. It's lo-"
"That's it, Mattheo." Theo had interjected. "You're absolutely right."
"I am?"
"Yes, exactly. Loathing is what this is. Loathing." He had swivelled around, hatefully fixing his gaze on where you were laughing over some undoubtedly inane subject matter over butterbeer with your friends. "Unadulterated loathing."
yours and theo's feelings for each other evoke a deeply visceral physical reaction in both of you, for which there can be only one explanation (enemies to lovers, banter, mentions of injury)
for cryin' out loud! (miniseries) (ongoing)
...and a bruise underneath* (Part 2) ⚡️
His eyebrows disappeared into his hair.
"Didn't want me to get mad?" Theo echoed incredulously. "Honestly, L/N," he said sharply, looking more than a little peeved, "what did you think I was going to do?"
"I don't know," you wailed, closer to tears than ever, "break up with me?"
Theo opened his mouth to respond before closing it again. He furrowed his brow, mouthing indecipherable half-words as if trying very hard to wrap his head around what you were saying.
you can't help becoming distant as your relationship with theo starts feeling like an open wound (angst, happy ending, comfort)
walking away with your kiss on my cheek... (Part 1) ⚡️
"So...two weeks."
"Mhm." You weren't the type of couple to explicitly express affection, especially of the vulnerable kind. You'd miss him, of course, even if you didn't say it. Would he miss you? You shook your head internally. No, you decided, you wouldn't ask. You'd only seem clingy and that wasn't the kind of couple you were. "Be good, have fun."
He adjusted the strap of his duffle bag. You fixed the collar of his jacket. You wondered if he'd tell you about Katherine before he left. From somewhere else in the Great Hall, one of his friends called him over. He pressed a final chaste kiss to your cheek. You watched him walk away with a hollow sort of feeling in your stomach. Merlin forbid you express any kind of attachment to your boyfriend.
He glanced back at you one last time, fidgeting with the strap of his bag, and just like that, he was gone.
Gone.
He didn't say a word about Katherine.
your relationship with theo starts to sour as you begin to suspect him of keeping secrets from you (angst, miscommunication, established relationship)
in sweetness 💙⚡️
"I'm fine, really," he had repeated, as he dragged your hand down to his chest, eyes lidded. "I'll sleep it off."
You had pressed your lips into a thin line, highly conflicted over how much you wanted to argue with a clearly sick patient. Your other hand had drifted to his scalp as you had distractedly started raking your fingers through his hair. Theo's lips had parted as he sighed in relief, melting further into his pillow.
"Just...just stay. For a while." His eyes had been fully closed by then. "I get the worst dreams when I'm sick."
You had run your thumb along your clasped hands. "What do you dream about?"
Theo had paused. "Terrible things," he had said after a moment, in a pleasant, light voice, as if you were merely discussing the weather. "Terrible things that I can't change."
He had no idea.
visiting theo's childhood home grants you a deeper understanding of his inner workings (angst, happy ending, friends to lovers)
merry christmas, please don't call ❄️
"I just - I just feel like lately...all we do is fight." You hated how small your voice sounded. You flinched as the memory of your last fight insistently pressed on barely-healed wounds. I don't hate you, you had said. I don't - I could never. No. I could never hate you, Theo. Over and over, you had repeated it like a mantra. What had you done all that for? Why did you care so much?
"Tough luck, Y/N," Theo said, his voice bouncing off the marble walls. "This is what couples do. They fight."
You drew your knees to your chest, trying to regulate your breathing. This wasn't happening. This couldn't be happening. "I'm sick of it, Theo. I really am. Aren't you sick of it?"
one year on, you look back on the fight that ended yours and theo's relationship (angst, no happy ending)
can I take your order? ❄️🎂
Ivy paid, and the two of you found a table in the middle of the shop to wait at. You couldn't stop kicking yourself over the interaction. That was twice you'd made a fool of yourself in front of him now. Once your drinks were ready, Ivy fetched them. When she handed you yours, you turned the cup around in your hand. It felt like any other drink. You turned it a little more and your heart skipped a beat. There was your name scrawled in black ink, and at the end was a slightly untidy, yet unmistakable, heart.
"Aww," Ivy crooned, peeking over, "he likes you."
"Shut up," you mumbled, trying to hide your burning face. Still, when she wasn't looking, you ran a thumb over his writing, memorising every careless flick of his marker.
you get off on the wrong foot with the new barista at your hometown's coffee shop, but even your off-putting behaviour isn't enough to deter him (coffee shop au, fluff, one-sided reluctant acquaintances to lovers)
maybe stay here forever ❄️ 💙
"Don't," you whined, dragging his hand back to where it was a moment ago. "Let Enzo do it. We don't get to see enough of each other as it is."
Theo sighed. "So you're just never going to let me leave?"
"I can't help it," you said, "I like the way you speak. I love hearing you talk." You rested your forehead against his, your eyes fluttering close. "Promise you'll never quit talking to me."
"Done," he murmured against your lips, a hand sliding to the small of your back.
the holidays have you feeling sentimental over yours and theo's relationship (established relationship, domestic bliss, descriptions of grief and anxiety, angst)
spend your cookie dough dough dough ❄️⚡️
"Right," Theo said tersely, once he had planted you firmly back inside the tower, with a look that told you he thought you were being absolutely ridiculous, "I'll just give this to my other girlfriend, then."
"Theo -"
"No, no, I get it. Maybe I've misunderstood our relationship. I'll just shower all my love and affection on some other girl."
You frowned at him impatiently. "Don't sulk, Teddy. I love it, really, I do - "
"Then what's the problem? It's my money to spend as I see fit, Y/N. Maybe - maybe - it's a little pricey, but so what? A guy can't spoil his girl for the holidays?"
you have a hard time being spoiled by your boyfriend, even if it's the holidays (established relationship, fluff, gift-giving (theo's version))
handwritten (miniseries) (ongoing)
Look, he was the one who showed up at the window on his broom, drunk out of his mind.
Drunk??
I know! What was he thinking, risking his neck all the way up there at the Ravenclaw dorms?? It was like he didn't even notice too. I thought I was hallucinating at first, but then I opened the window and nope, that was him, and then I screamed and he nearly fell off his broom so I hauled him inside. He practically faceplanted on the floor. I was terrified - I thought he was poisoned or something, but then I tried to prop him up and he had this dopey look on his face and he reeked of firewhiskey. Ugh, it was so annoying. I don’t want to talk about it.
You know what he said to me? After all that?
I thought you didn’t want to talk about this?
Uh-oh.
Uh-oh?
Uh-oh. Like a goddamn Looney Tunes character.
yours and theo’s story as told through notes passed in class (estranged friends to lovers, newstudent!theo, fluff, slight angst) Part 1 | Part 2
symphonia ix 💙
"What are you doing here?" Theo asked conversationally, keeping his tone light, as if he found strange girls fully-clothed in bathtubs every day. You continued staring at the tiled wall in front of you. You felt rather than heard him crouch closer to you and tentatively hold your wrist, preparing to sling your arm over his neck.
“Let’s get you out of there, hmm?”
You twisted your wrist out of his grip and you felt him retreat minutely. “Get away from me,” you rasped, your voice brittle with disuse.
Theo was no longer able to disguise his stricken tone. "Tesoro, please. You'll feel better once you're dry and warm-"
theo helps you recover from a terrible case of burnout at his family’s lakehouse (brother's bsf!theo, hurt/comfort, descriptions of burnout, self-loathing)
lucky (miniseries) (finished)
“But - why? How? If anything, I’d say you hated me.”
Your lips parted as your brow furrowed. “What gave you that idea?”
“What gave me the - I don’t know, all the scowling? The glaring? The snide remarks? The bodily harm?”
You flushed at the memory of the Potions storeroom incident. You could kind of see his point. “That was one time.”
“You owe me new pants, by the way. New pants and a new di-"
a tussle over a vial of Felix Felicis proves to be strangely enlightening (academic rivals, enemies to lovers, slight angst/yearning) Part 1 | Part 2 | Part 3
2001*
“Or maybe it’s something else entirely. Perhaps you like having me run after you. Is that where you get off, hmm? The thrill of the chase? Being a tease?”
“I am not a -“ you began hotly, before you caught the mischievous twinkle in his eye. You rolled your eyes. “You’re too cocky for your own good,” you muttered.
“I thought you like me cocky,” he teased.
theo doesn’t understand what’s holding you back from taking things further (fluff, softcore smut)
bad day ⚡️💙
“Hey, doll.” His nose nudged yours and you finally relented, wrapping an arm around his neck as he kissed you. His face felt cool against your warm forehead, and he smelt pleasantly of some non-descript yet refreshing soap.
“My neck is killing me,” you mumbled against his lips as you broke apart. Theo leaned back to get a better look at your wan face, distractedly running a hand down your spine.
a visit from your boyfriend perks you up even on the most frustrating of days (established relationship, fluff, comfort)

Tumblr media
if you weren't to be married in four days, you were sure your hen party would've been the highlight of your week.
your friends had opted to take you out to a local bar and then go out dancing and in the midst of darkness with the occasional flash of neon lights, you had all downed what your sober friend had calculated as 18 units of alcohol.
each.
so by the time you stumbled in through the door of your flat you were truly struggling to stand up straight, even with the aid of pansy under your arm.
" okay, sweetheart, let's get you into bed " she said, leading you towards the bedroom.
but it seemed you had other plans.
" nooo, i can't go to bed without teddy "
your whining elicited a laugh from the girl under your arm.
" i know, but he'll be home soon. enzo said they were leaving the club 15 minutes ago, so let's get you to bed and-"
" baby! you here ?"
the familiar timber of theo's voice flooded your flat and your smile grew.
pansy couldnt stop you from turning around and heading back to the door to find theo.
" teddy! "
and you found him with two boys with blurry faces flanking his sides.
all your drunk mind could focus on was theo in the middle of them and it seemed your feelings were reciprocated as he pushed the two boys off of him and stumbled straight towards you.
his arms wrapped around your neck and your looped around his torso, both of you swaying slightly where you stood.
you pulled back to look up at him but before either of your eyes could focus on the boy infront of you, a pair of lips were on yours and who were you to deny your beautiful fiancee.
the kiss was definitely sloppier than usual, but to both of you in your vodka fuelled minds, it was perfect.
" you can tap out, boys. i got this. i'm staying in their guest room tonight "
the next thing you heard was the sound of your front door closing.
" okay lovebirds, you've got your whole lives to do this but lets get you to bed "
you separated from theo but neither of you could wipe the shit eating grins from your drunk faces.
pansy lead the two of you through to your bedroom where you both promptly fell against the mattress in a pile of giggles.
when you felt a pair of hands pulling you from a mattress you whined softly, instinctively reaching for the boy still on the bed.
" once we get your makeup off, you can jump back in bed, but i won't be responsible for you having a pimple on your wedding day "
even in your drunk haze you knew she was right.
you didnt want a pimple on your face on the day of your wedding.
so you let her sit you on the closed toilet and wipe the makeup from your face before applying a few products you were too drunk to identify.
but when you were finally done, she lead you back out to your bed and let you collapse down on the mattress.
like a pair of magnets, both you and theo gravitated towards eachother in the centre of the mattress, your head dropping to his chest and his arms winding around you.
the only other sound aside from the rustling of the sheets beneath you was the bedroom door closing as pansy left.
and after that there was silence for a little while.
the last thing you heard before you fell into a slumber was theo.
" i love you, beautiful girl. "

like a moth to a flame - theodore nott
Tumblr media
theodore nott x fem!reader | angst | in which theodore is everything he wishes he wasn't and wants the one thing he knows he cannot have
cold. subdued. emotionless. complex.
theodore was nothing if he was not written off as a loner, a nobody in a crowd of dazzling faces. he didn't amaze crowds with his beauty, or even particularly stand out among the people he'd been raised with.
theodore was nothing if he was not a disappointment to his father.
nott sr. was an impatient man, insolent and violent at times. he was fiercely loyal to his master, his lord above all else. when his master ordered his wife, a bride taken from another land to wed at an age far too apart from his to die, he did it. he did it without hesitation, without mercy, and without the thought of doing it away from his young son's eyes.
theodore was nothing after he watched his father brutally slaughter his mother in their drawing room. he was ten at the time.
it was that moment, he thinks, that he became who he was.
cold. subdued. emotionless. complex.
nott sr. ensured no emotion was shown from his boy. his heir, his only living relation, and his only chance at continuing the hate he'd been bred to feel.
it was in his bones, that hate. and it simmered and boiled over when he realized that hate did not grow in his young son's.
theodore was born to be sensitive. he was born to be an academic, with a wit like no other and a knack for knowing just what to do. he was born to be a good person, a person with solid morals and a fond eye for adventure.
but he never could be any of those things, could he? voldemort didn't like academics. he didn't like people who were smarter, witter, and brighter than him. he didn't like restless children who always wanted to know more.
and true to his nature, nott sr. began to hate everything that theodore truly was. he was determined to kill it and burn it to the ground, determined to shape him into a near mirror image of himself.
and once he was beaten down enough, mentally and physically, theodore began to relent. his father wanted cold, subdued, emotionless, and complex.
theodore became all he was meant to be in his father's eyes.
hogwarts became his only reprieve from the monstrous horrors that awaited him at nott manor. he felt comfort in the cold, stone walls of the slytherin dungeon. he would sit and watch the black lake on occasion, lounging lazily in an armchair moved to the precise position to catch the best view.
he felt a deep connection to the feelings of the giant squid that inhabited the lake. he too was trapped in a body of water, unable to move very far or do very much without being watched or being scrutinized. he felt that they were very alike.
sometimes his friends would join him to watch the window. draco took the most interest of all of them, much preferring theo's company to anyone else's. he'd known him since his birth, after all. they were as good as brothers, if you'd believe it.
theo was quiet while draco was loud. theo was meticulous and analytical while draco felt and felt and felt some more. they balanced and complimented each other nearly perfectly.
draco often wished he could save theo one day. save him from his father, from the life he'd been forced into. it was impossible of course, with nott sr. and lucius malfoy being brothers in a purely fraternal organization with the same goal in mind.
theo was grateful for draco's constant presence. he appreciated his thoughts and how he was comfortable just existing alongside theo.
draco began being interested in girls around fourth year. he could have any girl he fancied. he was an attractive boy, with sharp features and piercing grey eyes. theo wished many times he could understand what it was like to like someone, anyone, in a way more than just friendship.
it was hard for theo to even maintain his friendships most times. he was often afraid that his father would use them as leverage against him, or even worse, that the dark lord would make a point to have them killed in front of his eyes.
it was the yule ball that gave theodore even more reason to be terrified. even more reason to be a cold, subdued, emotionless, complex human.
he wore his finest, sent over from italy at the request of his father. he knew he was a handsome boy and knew why girls wanted him to be their date. he also knew why he couldn't and why he wouldn't let himself feel anything other than apathy towards them.
at least, he did. until he saw her.
she was dressed in the finest gown he'd ever seen, silk and shining under the enchanted lights in the great hall. her hair was styled perfectly, shaping her face in a way that had to be considered art. her makeup was complimentary to her face, not cakey and overdone like pansy's, or little to nothing like astoria's.
she was perfection personified, and he didn't even know her name.
"what are you looking at, mate?" draco asked with a slight laugh, trying to trace the line of sight theodore had locked onto.
"she's beautiful," theo breathed out timidly, his brain nothing but static as he stared at her. she gracefully spoke to her friends, a glass of punch in her hand as if she'd been raised to be the center of society.
draco eyed her meticulously, studying the human figure theodore was so entranced by. "y/n?"
theo looked at draco, shrugging, suddenly missing the sight that he'd been so focused on moments before.
"she's quite beautiful," draco agreed, sipping from the glass in his hand. he tipped it towards her direction, "a pureblood, too, i assume. she's too graceful to not have practiced this."
theo once again turned his attention to her figure. he was completely and utterly entranced by her, a feeling like none he'd ever felt before at the sight of a stranger. she turned around at that moment, her eyes sweeping the great hall before landing on his. she studied him for a moment, a small smile on her lips. she gave a polite and small wave of her fingers in his direction, her eyes never leaving his.
"oh god," theo breathed out, feeling as though all the air from his lungs had disappeared. she turned back around to her friends, seemingly laughing and joking around.
draco chuckled, putting a hand on theo's shoulder. "she didn't come with a date," he informed him, "so the option is there for you."
theo shook his head rapidly. "you know why i can't do that."
"i know," draco conceded, his expression falling as the weight of theodore's position settled in his heart.
theo spent the rest of the night sneaking subtle stares her way, eyeing her as she danced happily and laughed with her friends. he felt pangs of jealousy strike his chest when other boys asked her to dance. at the same time, he felt immensely relieved when she turned them all down.
it was the best night he'd ever had, in his mind.
it was fifth year before he saw her again. this time he spotted her in arithmancy sitting at the table beside his own. she sat with astoria and daphne, a slytherin green tie adorned around her neck. theodore wondered how he'd never seen her before the ball or after.
maybe it was better that way. if he didn't see anything he wanted, he could still be cold and subdued and emotionless and complex.
he was lost in thought during the lesson, his mind everywhere but in the classroom when he caught her looking at him. he locked eyes with her in an instant, almost out of instinct.
her eyes could draw him in and push him out like the tides, he thought. he'd never seen anything more beautiful.
she looked away as professor vector gazed upon the class once more. theodore felt the loss.
it went on like that for a few more weeks, with her catching his eyes during class, staring at each other with more intensity than theodore ever thought possible, and then turning away before they were caught. theodore didn't like it one bit.
he wanted more. he needed more.
he was like a moth to a flame just from her glances, wanting so badly to be close to her, to be close to something he could not have.
it was near all hallow's eve when he heard her speak for the first time.
she walked up to him in the library where he sat alone in a corner that was so unused that dust and cobwebs had taken over all flat surfaces and corners. he felt safe there, away from the rest of humanity. from the rest of his life.
"i like your eyes," she said to him, quietly but with a strength and fierceness that could not be more evident. she stood lengths away from him, her arms crossed lazily over her chest and her head cocked to the side. her hair fell around her face perfectly, enhancing the already ethereal beauty she contained in her body.
theo stared at her for a few moments, probably more than he should've. he considered going mute at that moment and saving him the trouble of what even speaking to her would start.
"i like yours, too," he finally told her, quiet and low as his tone usually was. he was a monotonous creature, something he was reminded of daily.
she smiled and theo felt his world crumble around him. he was falling down a pit he'd sworn never to fall down, the one that showed who he really was. the pit full of sensitivity, feeling, and everything he truly was made to be. the pit reminded him of his mother and all the ways she'd imprinted her very soul upon his.
she nodded and pushed her hair away from her eyes where it had fallen. she stood silent for a moment after that. when she did speak, theo knew it was full of quiet contemplation and consideration.
"i don't think you are who you try to be," she stated with finality. "and i would like to get to know the real you. not the cold and closed off bullshit persona you put on."
theodore nott was nothing if he wasn't acting. but in that moment, all of her words struck him in his proverbial achilles heel. in that moment, theo didn't feel like a failure. he didn't feel like a disgrace or a disappointment to his father. he didn't feel like the theodore nott he'd played for so long.
he felt seen.
theo took many deep breaths before he answered. he figured at that moment that y/n could be the most patient person he'd ever encountered. she held his eyes with a ferocity that would rival even the most courageous of lions and a determination that put all snakes to shame.
"you don't want that responsibility," he finally spoke, his words full of emotions he couldn't quite name, but ones he felt in the very depths of his soul. his hands had begun to shake.
y/n sat next to him in a dusty, ancient armchair. "i don't shy away from a challenge," she laughed timidly, "and i find that i'm drawn to you like a moth to a flame."
"moths will die if they touch the flame," he responded immediately, his face devoid of any named emotion.
y/n chuckled and touched theo's hand gently. "only if they're stupid enough to run into it."
theodore only bared his very soul to one person in his life. y/n was true to her word and refused to back down from his challenge. eventually, she was rewarded with theodore nott. he was sensitive and an academic, a witty, bright, intelligent boy who felt everything and loved fiercely and without a second thought. he was adventurous and fun and y/n loved him with a determination that was almost impossible.
theodore nott was once again cold, subdued, emotionless, and complex after the battle of hogwarts. his side had lost and the mark he'd taken on his left forearm to appease his father and protect the love he wanted and needed forever was fading.
he vowed to be everything his father wanted him to be after the battle. after he'd seen his only remaining family slaughtered at what he thought to be his safe haven. after he saw her, beautifully effervescent and ethereal, laid on the ground in a way that was so poetically tragic.
she'd died at the hands of his father and quickly thereafter, nott sr. was dead at the hands of his own son.
it wasn't long after the battle that theodore himself lost himself completely.
draco had found him, cold and lifeless in nott manor with only the bottles of firewhisky around him to blame.
draco knew in his heart that he could never have saved theodore from the end he was sure to meet. it didn't make it any easier.

Wait now I’m thinking all about groom!Theo, like what
The way he’d vacillate between loving and tender, and oh so cheeky and mildly horny. All. Day. Like, one minute you two are dancing and you’re whispering sweet I love yous to each other, and the next he’s grabbing your ass with that cheeky smirk as you tell him to behave. Later you two are cutting the cake and he kisses the frosting off your face lovingly, then proceeds to make you blush redder than the roses by whispering how he’d like to lick it off your body
And that’s not even beginning to TOUCH how damn possessive he’d be when fucking you later now that you’re his WIFE
I just
*incoherent screaming* the thoughts are running rampant now omg
Anyways, thought you might enjoy a little ramble of my Theo thoughts inspired by one of your reblogs that I saw, hope you have a good day or night🫶

Nott's Big Question
Relationship: Theodore Nott x Reader
Summary: Theo takes you to dinner. It's just a normal dinner at Blaise's, right?
Warning: Use of Y/N
_______________________________________
"Theo, thank you so much for dinner. You know how much I love Blaise's lasagna." I said happily. I tilt my head to the side and smile.
Theo stares back at me in awe. He admires us from across the table. "My goddess, you are absolutely stunning tonight. You always are, but tonight even the stars are envy your beauty."
I blush at the compliment. Theo has always been very good with his words, but they always seemed to leave me flustered.
"T-thanks Theo.", I say blushing, "You look dashing as ever. Blaise should offer you as dessert." I wink at him.
Theo grins, "Only for you, my darling."
You both talk about your day. Theo rants about how Draco keeps coming in late and how he has to pick up Draco's slack.
Ever since Draco and Hermione had gotten back from their honeymoon 3 months ago, Draco has been coming in late. I have my theory that she's pregnant. She wasn't looking too well after she had to use the floo when we had dinner last week. Theo thinks they are just shagging all the time.
"Hey Y/n!" Ginny calls. I look up to see Mr. and Mrs. Potter. Ginny and Harry have been married for a few years now. Their wedding was on the cover of the Daily Prophet for at least two weeks.
I smile and greet them. "Are you guys here on date night as well?" Theo asked. Harry nodded.
"Yeah. Ginny has been talking about wanting to come back here, since Y/n's birthday dinner." Ginny elbows Harry in the side. Harry grunts and glares at his wife.
"Anyways, I see you guys are here on date night." Ginny smiles and gives Theo a weird look.
'I wonder what that was about.' I think to myself but eventually brush it off.
Harry and Ginny go and sit at their table and we continue with our date.
Theo and I continue to eat your food in comfortable silence. It was never uncomfortable between you guys. He looks up at me and smiles.
When I first met Theo back in second year, he never smiled. I remember the first time I saw it.
It was fourth year and everyone was coming back at the Yule Ball. Draco seemed to be in a mood. Pansy stormed off to the dorm room, and everyone else was starting to get tired. Blaise wanted to lighten the mood and to make his best friend smile, so he asked Blaise to dance. Both being purebloods, they obviously knew to dance properly. The two of them started doing the tango. I watch from afar. Being a muggleborn sorted into Slytherin was rare and that meant I was an easy target.
I laughed at the boys being silly. I turned to see Draco smirking. I looked back at the dancing duo and was taken back. Theo had the most beautiful smile and his laugh could cure all things evil. The Slytherin common room never felt warmer.
"Well, hello lovers. I took time out of my very busy schedule to bring you this exclusive dessert." Blaise greeted. I giggle at his antics. Blaise has always been dramatic. Blaise shows us his very new cheesecake, carrot cake cheesecake. Theo grunts, trying to convince Blaise to leave.
Blaise chuckles and looks down at me, "You know Y/n, if you ever get tired of him, my bed is always available." I chuckle at him as he walks away. Theo mutters about how he is going to kill him.
"Theodore darling, we both know you won't kill him. Who else would you dance with?" He glares at me as he tries a bit out of the cheesecake.
I take a bite and moan. Theo looks up at me hungrily.
"Y/n, would you care for a stroll after dinner?" Theo asks. "I am going to have to work off this cheesecake to keep this sexy body." He grins at my laugh.
"I would love it. Got to keep that figure or else I may have to take up Blaise's offer." I wink at him.
He glares at me as he finishes and goes to pay.
As we walk down Diagon Alley, I lean into him to try and warm myself. "Cold, my love?" Theo asks softly.
I nod. I feel as the warming charms that Theo placed work its magic. Theo has always been a sweetheart. He doesn't act like it around others, but he's such a softie with me. As we walk, I feel Theo pull my closer and wrap his arm around my shoulders. I lean into smelling smoke, wine, and cinnamon. His scent comforts me.
Abruptly we stop, and I look up at Theo. I see him grinning, his cheeks dusted with red.
"Remember this spot?" He asks cheekily. I look up and see we are outside of Fortescue's Ice cream Parlor.
I blush. "Oh Merlin. How could I forget?" It's the day I embarrassed myself in front of you."
"By embarrassed, you mean ruin one of my favorite shirts." I smack his arm. "You know it was an accident." He chuckles. Theo grabs my hands and smiles at me.
"You know that is one of my favorite memories of you. I don't understand how I never noticed you before then. I love your dark green eyes and sandy brown hair. You make my life so much better. I never knew happiness or love until I met you. You know how my father was. I would go through again every time if that meant I would get to be with you. Y/n Smith, I will love you until the day my magic gives out. I will love you until Draco and Blaise stop getting annoying.", Theo says as he gets down on one knee with a ring in his hand, "Will you please do me the honor of marrying me and making me the happiest man in this galaxy?"
I stand there stunned. I never imagine Theo would be on one knee in front of me. I stare at him until I could see the nerves starting to hit. I squeal and wrap myself around him. "Yes, Yes, Yes!!!" I yell. I hear Theo curse under his breath.
"Salazar woman, you about gave me a heart attack. I thought you were going to say no." Theo chuckled.
I look at him and place my hand on his cheek.
"Merlin Theo, I never thought you would have proposed to me. I would always say yes to you. I love you so much."
I pull Theo closer and kiss him softly. Theo leans in and deepens the kiss.
We finally pull away as we heard people around us start whispering. I stand up and pull Theo up.
We apparate back to our house. As we snuggle on our couch, I look at my ring. "How does Y/n Nott sound?" I look at Theo smiling big.
"It sounds perfect love." Theo whispers and he leans down to kiss me.

the secret | m.r x reader
Prompt: Can you do Mattheo Riddle x Reader best friends to lovers but where she is also the sister of Theo Nott. And Mattheo is also Theo’s best friend? The Nott family are hosting a Xmas party with all purebloods etc and Mattheo gets jealous? Thank you so much!❤️
Word count: 1.6k
Warning: angst, smut, 18+, MDNI below the line
An: not proofread sozz guys.
The first time it happened, you and Mattheo agreed it was just a mistake. A drunken mistake that no one would ever know about, especially your twin. It was just a drunken rendezvous, gnashing teeth, nails on skin, no marks left where others could see them. You were friends, he was Theo’s best friend. It couldn’t ever be anything more.
So why did you find yourself outside of his dorm room, fist hanging in the air while you debated knocking on the door or not. You lowered your hand, mumbling to yourself, “Merlin, y/n, you’re such an idiot.” You turned around, ready to take the shameful walk back when you heard the door swing open and your name being called, “Y/n/n?” You turned back round, cheeks aflame. You stuttered over your tongue, trying to come up with a good explanation, “I-I’m sorry, I shouldn’t have-”
Mattheo cut you off, smirk slowly sliding onto his lips as he was stepping to the side, “Come in.” You walked through the doorway, him close behind you, muttering a locking and silencing charm. That time you were sober, you couldn’t blame not realizing where you were or who you were with. You sought this out, and Mattheo happily accepted.
It only happened two more times before holiday approached, but those two more times were all it took for you to be hooked on him. The first few days of Christmas holiday you just moped around, dutifully following your dads instructions, playing the role of silent obedient daughter. Every year the Nott household threw a Christmas party, inviting all the important pureblood families, all the Dark Lord’s most loyal and dedicated followers.
Normally thinking about having to interact with those type of people made bile rise in your throat, but fortunately enough you were not the only one with parents who were loyal to the Dark Lord. Actually, you were excited to see his son.
When Mattheo appareted to the Nott Manor with his mother Bellatrix, his instinct was to search for you. However what his eyes found was your father parading you in front of the Zabini family, Blaise and his mother.
What Mattheo couldn’t see was how disinterested Blaise looked as your father talked about the importance of joining your families, how much power it would bring the Dark Lord.
This was a common occurrence for the last several parties your father has thrown, trying to betroth you to another powerful family. To make sure that he looked good and accomplished for the Dark Lord. But Blaise knew you had fallen for Mattheo. He could see it in the way you two interacted, or more so strategically didn’t interact.
But Mattheo was a jealous man, as well as possessive. Though you had no interest in Blaise beyond friendship, that didn’t stop Mattheo from waiting for you in your room.
So when you were finally granted permission for a break from your father, walking into your room you were startled by Mattheo sprawled on your bed. He was lying on his head, one hand behind his head while his other was twirling his wand around his fingers.
“So when’s the wedding, Princess? Will I get an invitation?” Mattheo swung his legs over the edge of the bed, sitting up now. His signature glare was pointed at you, his eyes seemingly dead but you could see the hurt in his eyes.
You rolled your eyes, your heels clicking against the hardwood, “There will be no wedding, Mattheo. Blaise is not the first person my father has tried this with and he won’t be the last.”
Mattheo’s face only turned into more of a scowl. He grabbed hold of the back of your thighs, “Is that what you like, hmm? Being paraded around like a little house slut for some random dark wizard?”
His grip on your thighs tightened with his words, his possessive nature causing heat to pool in your centre. You ran your hands along his strong chest, “You know the only one I’m a slut for is you Mattheo.”
Your hands gripped onto Mattheo’s shoulders as you straddled his lap. His hands slid up your thighs, gripping on to your ass firmly, “Are you going to show me how good of a slut you can be fme, Princess?”
You nodded, lips ghosting the shell of his ear, “Gonna be such a good girl for you, Teo.” You ground your hips down, feeling his hard cock straining against his trousers. A low groan emitted from his throat.
Without warning Mattheo flipped the two of you over, him now towering over you. His lips attached to your throat, finding the place he knew made you whimper. Mattheo’s hands explored your body, coming up to squeeze and knead at your breasts.
His fingertips followed the v cut of your dress before gripping and ripping apart the thin material. “What the fuck, Mattheo?” You tried to shout at him but it came out more of a moan.
“Don’t fret, darling, I’ll mend it after,” his lips now trailing down your chest, entrapping one of your nipples in your mouth. You decided that Mattheo had far too many clothes on, gripping and ripping open his dress shirts, the sounds of buttons bouncing off the hardwood floor.
You could feel Mattheo smirk against your skin, “Thought you were going to be good for me, Princess. Now you’re ripping my clothes?” Mattheo made a tsking sound at you, “Seems like I need to teach you a lesson now don’t I?”
You bit your lip, nodding. Without warning Mattheo was two fingers deep in your cunt, scissoring his fingers and stretching you out.
“Oh, fuck, Mattheo,” your back arched, chest pressing further into him. Him working you with his fingers had you in such bliss you hadn’t even noticed him shedding his trousers. Not until you felt his fingers leave you, a whimper coming from your throat as you felt them replaced by the head of his cock rubbing against your folds, coating himself in your slick.
“Please, Teo, don’t tease,” you put on your sweetest tone as you bucked your hips.
“Patience, Princess. Before I really punished you,” he growled in your ear, slowly sinking himself himself into you until his hips are flushed to yours. When he feels you clench around him he gets the signal to move, slowly rutting his hips into you.
You raked your nails down the muscles of his back, “Harder, Teo. Need it, harder.” Mattheo lifted up ones of your legs, resting it on his shoulder as he started a brutal pace, one of your hands flying to hold yourself steady against the headboard.
You felt that familiar feeling you often got with Mattheo building in your stomach, every thrust bringing you closer to bliss. Mattheo’s hand had a vice grip on your thigh as his other rested on your lower stomach, just above your pelvis.
The pressure from his hand made the head of his cock hit that special place inside with every thrust, your jaw slack with silent moans. A devilish smirk displayed on Mattheo’s face, “Can you feel me right here, Princess? Feel me deep inside your pretty cunt? Fuck, I’m gonna fill you up.”
Your cunt clenched around him at his filthy words causing a gutters moan from Mattheo, “There she is, there’s my perfect little slut, you liked that don’t you? Like the idea of me fucking you full of my cum, feeling it leak out of you when we return back to the party?”
You nodded, too fucked out to respond properly with words, Mattheo’s thumb found your clit, rubbing tight figure eights. Your head thrown back, eyes squeezed shut seeing stars and you fell over the edge, coating Mattheo’s cock with your juices.
Mattheo’s wasn’t far behind, hips stuttering before stilling as you felt him coat your walls with warm spurts before nearling collapsing on top of you, his head on your chest as your hands came up to play with the curls as the base of his neck.
As Mattheo slowly pulled his softening cock from your cunt you whined as the feeling of emptiness. Mattheo kissed your cheek tenderly as he stood from the bed, grabbing his wand that he carelessly discarded on the floor.
He gave it a small wave, seamlessly cleaning you both with minimal effort, “Sorry, love. While I’d love to dote on you, even draw you a bath I know we’ve already been gone for too long.”
You nodded, a small smile on your face as you walked toward him on wobbly legs, “S’okay, Teo. There’s always later.” You gave him a teasing wink. Mattheo let out a low growl, “Don’t start something you know we can finish right now, love.”
You gave his cheek a loving kiss in apology. Mattheo took a step back, waving his wand once more so that you were both dressed again, looking as if nothing had even happened. “Well don’t you clean up nice,” you teased.
Mattheo walked toward your bedroom door, holding out his arm, “M’lady.” You giggled, walking up and looping your arm with his. He opened your door, beginning to walk you down the hallway.
“Mattheo, wait. Do you really think it’s a good idea for us to walk back in to the party together? I mean, what about Theo?”
Mattheo nodded, “See I’ve been thinking, who better for your dad to see you with, all cozied up and chummy than the Dark Lord’s son himself, hmm? Papa Nott would just love that arrangement wouldn’t he?”
You held on to his arm tighter, “You know I never tell you enough how brilliant you are?”
Mattheo chucked lightly, “No, love, you don’t. But that’s okay,” he leaned in close to your ear as you entered the main room once more, “I’ll teach you a lesson later.”

EPISODE 05: i think he did it but i just can’t prove it
pairing: theo nott x potter!reader
summary: you and theo go to the ball of the nocturne society and find out more about the dark magical artifact
warnings: extremely big trigger warning for the whole series, in this chapter: mentions of murder, illegal activities, underage drinking and smoking of weed, mentions of intoxication, mentions of stabbing
note: welcome back to the fifth episode of nbnc! i’m so excited to have you all back!! sorry it arrived a bit later than promised, didn't have the time to finish it sooner, but i hope a little sooner than usual is still good. check beneath the tags for a little surprise!!
please let me hear what you think in the comments!!
“okay” you muttered, still staring at the place malfoy had last stood. “what do we do now?”
theo sighed, glancing at the paper in his hand. “we still have that invitation” he shrugged.
“you seriously wanna go in there?” you asked baffled “after everything malfoy just told us?”
“well, if they’re onto us, we better try to find out more” theo noted. “i’d rather know who i’m facing than sit around and wait for them to get me first”
“good point” you finally agreed after a few beats of silence. you adjusted your mask.
theo looked at you, waiting. “ready?”
“ready” you nodded.
theo spoke the latin code word from the paper. aetema iuventa. eternal youth. the portrait swung open, revealing a hallway filled with green lanternts that hung above your heads. the entry to the party was closed by another door that flew open when theo’s hand touched it.
you weren’t ready for what you saw. everyone was dressed in similar festive clothing, just like theo and you. but the ball was everything else but that.
the location was beautiful. a big dance floor, surrounded by tables with food and drinks, a big chandelier hanging from the ceiling that rattled to the beat of the music. you bet those diamonds were real.
though the location fit the theme of a ball perfectly, the behaviour of the guests did not.
a couple was making out against the wall next to you, a few people were licking salt from each others bodies, while a few were snorting something that looked an awful lot like cocaine at the very end of the room.
“i thought most of the slytherins had gone home” you noted, swerving to the side, right before a drunk and masked man got to take you down with him.
“it might’ve looked like that” theo agreed. “but many stay for the holidays and let the houseelves bring them dinner”
“that’s possible?”
“only if your parents are heavy financers of the school, i guess”
“hm” you nodded, following him to a table filled with drinks. “well, it’s a bit more scandalous than i would’ve thought” you muttered, watching people run to the dance floor when the first few notes of ‘you know you like it’ broke through the boxes.
the music was electrifying and drowned out every bit of fear in your body.
“good evening” a voice broke your gaze away from the dancing people. theo looked up too.
a girl was standing in front of you. she was wearing a black dress with dark green details along her chest. it almost looked like a wedding dress photographed with a black and white filter. her black hair was styled in a beautiful updo, definitely with magic. you were sure not even a hairdresser could style their own hair so beautifully.
the girls mask was in the same colour as her dress — a mix between black and green — as her dark brown eys studied both theo and you “hello pansy” you greeted.
her eyes widened, as suprised flooded them. “and you are?” pansy parkinson asked with a hint of distrust in her voice at the sudden exposure.
“y/n and theo” theo intervened quickly, not liking the edge in the way she was talking to you.
“potter, huh?” pansy crossed her arms, the fabric of her dress flowing around her elbows, as she quirked a brow at your greeting. “you’re smarter than you look, love”
you ignored her, as your eyes wandered behind the girl, staying on mattheo, who was wearing a mask too, but his smug smile was the biggest giveaway in the world. “what did i tell you, pansy?” he said “she lives up to her boyfriend’s expectations, right theo?”
“um” you muttered, knowing fully well, that theo and you had not discussed anything related to your relationship status.
theo was more relaxed than you, answering before you could make a fool out of yourself. “of course”
both mattheo and pansy smiled in satisfaction, while your cheeks turned rosy. “would you like a drink, y/n?” pansy asked with a sudden kindness “i’m allowed to call you y/n, yeah?”
“sure” you shrugged, not feeling like you had any right to forbid her whatsoever. “can i have one glass of this?” you pointed at a green colored bowle that honestly looked like it was the least alcoholic thing from the table.
pansy complied, putting down the drink she had poured for herself and filled a little glass with the green liquid.
behind your back, mattheo and theo were eagerly discussing something that didn’t reach your ears, due to the loud music — right now, the bridge of ‘you don’t own me’ was jumpin through the room, rattling the chandelier — but theo’s hand was gripping your waste, unconsciously assuring his presence.
“here you go” pansy held the drink in your direction, you welcomed the glass, drinking a sip and scrunching your face at the horrible taste.
“is this your first slytherin party?” pansy asked as she giggled at your expression of disgust.
“it’s my first cult party, if you mean that”
pansy rolled her eyes. “the nocturne society is not a cult”
“no, you’re right” you nodded sarcastically “it’s just a very tight knit group of friends, how did i miss that before?”
“okay” pansy breathed. “some of the members might confuse it with one” she nodded to the a group of three people, who were eagerly trying to hex tattoos of the nocturne society’s coat of armour onto their hands.
“cults are dangerous, even if not everyone believe it is one”
“cults are dangerous, murder is bad, i know” pansy muttered, before she downed the rest of her drink “we’re no saints, but we ain’t killers either”
“maybe you aren’t”
“yeah, maybe” pansy nodded, deep in thought, her eyes wandering along the people around you. “just be careful, theo he—“ she paused, unsure if she should really finish the sentence, before she finally sighed, a soft smile on her lips, “he really likes you”
“i really like him too”
pansy squeezed your hand in a reassuring manner, sending you a look that told you again to be cautious, before she held up her arm, waving for mattheo to follow her.
mattheo quickly excused himself from his discussion with theo, following pansy through a crowd of people, your eyes quickly losing them.
“what was that all about?” theo asked as soon as they had disappeared.
“i could ask you the same” you smiled michievously, taking another sip from your drink, before you finally decided it was too strong and put it down again.
“i don’t trust them” theo shook his head, worry wandering over his face.
“i thought mattheo was your friend?”
“it’s not just him, it’s this whole society. how are they involved? mattheo and i always got along, yes, but i’ve always managed to stay out of his dubious plans”
“did he tell you anything useful?” you asked, not trying to discuss the future of mattheo and theo’s friendship here and now. “did he find out anything about the artifact”
“actually, yes” theo nodded, his gaze wandering into the crowd of people behind your back.
“what is it?” you wondered, turning around and searching the people for a familiar person.
“come on” theo motioned for you to follow him. “i think i just found someone who could help us”
he took your hand in his, dragging you a through a crowd of people. in the middle of the dancefloor, the music was somehow louder, wrapping you in a thick bubble, where the only thing you were feeling was theo’s touch. you grabbed his hand tightly, scared to lose him between this many people.
you feared that once you would lose him, you were caught. you were sure that this whole party was magically manipulated, as to make it harder to leave. you noticed the mission theo and you had set, slipping to the back of your mind anytime the beat hit and the chandelier above you rattled.
theo stopped when you reached a corner across the room from the table with the drinks. a guy in a suit was busy rolling himself a cigarette. his suit looked like it was made out of couch cushions, the soft material crunching at any move he made. you noticed it was dark green, but so dark that it almost looked black.
his hair was slightly curled, dark brown and messily decorated his head. he looked up at the sound of your approaching footsteps.
“enzo?” theo asked.
you only recognized the boy now. he looked a lot more comfortable and relaxed when he was hiding behind a mask.
it seemed that your company only confused enzo or you were sure he had recognized his friend sooner. “theo?” he finally asked, after he had searched the masked face in front of him. “and?”
“y/n” you quickly answered, smiling at his expression, when he sighed in relief.
“what are you doing here?” even though it was not far to assume, enzo sounded nothing but nice as he send you a smile, surprised at your unexpected presence at this party.
“theo brought me along” you said simply, not feeling in the mood to explain the real reason why you had come, so you put it simpler: “we wanted to ask you something, about the artifact”
“oh” enzo pushed the finished cigarette into the pocket of his trousers. “the artifact?” he questioned, his voice losing a bit of it’s confidence.
“do you know anything about it?” theo asked
“well, it’s not been dealt like a secret, not as much as it should've been at least” he shrugged, before he looked around, checking for any unwanted listeners. “blaise, he’s in the room behind this door” he nodded at the wall behind you, “he knows more about it”
“thank you” you smiled honestly, trying to calm the worry on his face.
“but please don’t get careless” enzo pleaded. “i heard it’s pretty dangerous and i’ve kept out of it for the most part. but a few people were absolutely obsessed with it. too obsessed to still care about anything else”
“we know it can be dangerous” theo muttered, not impressed by the warning.
“you don’t understand, theo” enzo shook his head, more urgency in his tone now. “it’s soul shattering. you lose a part of yourself with it. it makes you become something you wouldn’t have imagined in your worst nightmare. it could even get you to hurt a person you loved” his eyes wandered between theo and you. “love. it’s like a trigger”
“we’ll be careful, i promise” you put a hand on enzo’s shoulder, assuring your promise.
theo and you excused yourselves, walking in the direction of the door. enzo watched after you, taking out th cigarette from his pocket. “they should’ve never brought it here” he muttered, but you were too far away to still hear him.
the door enzo had guided you to was surprisingly easy to open. you had thought the room behind it was special, granting it a higher security than the party itself.
the opposite was the case. the room was full of smoke, to the brim. theo and you inhaled a large amount when it wandered in your direction.
“woah” a voice called and with a move of a wand, most of the smoke was gone. blaise zabini was laying on a red velvet couch, a blunt in his hand and surrounded by various people. he was bare chested and only still wearing the trousers of his suit. his shoes and socks were gone too.
there was a thin layer of sweat on his dark skin and his eyes and lips were redder than normal.
“theodore nott” he recognized immediately. “where have you been all this time?”
it slowly became clear that theo really was an outsider in his friendgroup, considering all of them seemed to be regular members of those secret parties.
“and accompanied by y/n potter, if my eyes don’t trick me?” blaise now asked, sitting up and waving you both inside. “get lost” he told the others. the room quickly cleared out and theo closed the door, ensuring that your conversation was kept private.
“does this even lead to something?” you asked, pointing a hand in blaise’s direction. “i mean he’s higher than a kite”
"and yet sharp as a blade" theo replied with a smirk, glancing back at blaise "don’t let his state fool you”
blaise rolled his eyes, leaning back casually “higher than a kite, maybe, but i’m still seeing straight enough to know when i've got a legend in my midst. hey ace!”
“ace?” you repeated confused.
“you don’t get to be the reason for blaise zabini making it through divination class without earning yourself a praising nickname” theo shrugged. “he’s been calling you that ever since”
“you copied my answers?” you asked, a bit of surprise stinging in your voice.
“pretty obvious question, huh?” blaise shrugged. he made a motion for both theo and you to sit down on the couch next to him. “so tell me, what can old blaise do for someone like ace potter, hm?”
“this is weird” you muttered, but followed his request, before theo and you explained what you were searching for and why.
while you were talking, blaise nodded along, expertly rolling another blunt, before he lit it up, unintentionally breathing the smoke in your direction.
your nose was fillled with the smell of weed and there was no escape in the small room.
“i’m sorry” blaise said when theo asked him to put out the blunt. “i need this or i won’t be able to think straight”
“okay” you nodded, putting a calming hand on theo’s knee, who you felt was ready to discuss the matter. “then let’s not waste any time. what can you tell us about the artifact?”
“it didn’t work” blaise shrugged, “it was useless basically. just a dust catcher if you ask me”
“we heard different things from enzo”
“well, i’m sure it’s pretty dangerous once you find out how it’s activated” blaise muttered. “but we didn’t. no one could use it, it was impossible to crack. nothing we tried worked”
“what did you do with it?”
“nothing”
“what do you mean ‘nothing’?” you almost laughed, his answer confusing you.
“we kept it in the hope that we would find out what we could use it for. it’s in the cushion behind you.”
theo quickly sat up straight, not wanting to disturb or destroy the artifact by leaning against it.
“professor burbage suspected that i had stolen it. she confronted me before she died. but it was weird, really” blaise’s mind wandered off, as he let the rest of the sentence hang in the air unfinished.
“what? why?”
“well, for starters: she didn’t even want to have it back” blaise shrugged. “she was acting strange altogether. she made me promise to be careful, but i think she wanted me to keep it and try to use it further”
“why would a teacher want a student to keep a dangerous dark magical object? that doesn’t make any sense if you ask me” theo mumbled.
“well it doesn’t, unless she—“ you paused, thinking for a second before you finally finished the sentence. “unless she didn’t know how to use it herself”
“you could be right” theo nodded, his eyes widened. “we never found out how burbage got it into her hands in the first place. maybe you weren’t the first person to steal it, blaise”
“just for the protocol; i was not the only one involved in the um, disappearance of the artifact”
“no one here is writing a protocol, blaise” you assured with a tap to his arm.
“you never know who listens” blaise mumbled, the paranoia of the weed clearly setting in.
“has someone shown any particular interest in the object or tried to take it?”
blaise shook his head. “no, not that i noticed”
“great” you smiled. “please be sure to hide it better, we don’t want anyone getting stupid ideas and going to dumbledore could lead to you leaving the school, so just keep it on the down low, yeah?”
“don’t worry, ace” blaise nodded with such a confidence you almost had to laugh. “it’s like fort knox in here.”
“sure, okay” theo nodded, standing up, but wobbling a bit.
“are you alright?” you questioned, copying his movement, but finding yourself to be unable to stand straight.
“it’s the weed, i think” theo mumbled and you nodded. “maybe it’s just a short effect”
the effect was anything but short. as soon as theo and you walked, or more wobbled back onto the dancefloor, it seemed to only highten the feelings you were experiencing.
everything he said was so so funny. the music was like a drug, you couldn’t walk away from and theo’s two heads were definitely a sight to see.
“what was the plan?” you screamed into theo’s ear. the loudness of the music made you feel like it was coming from right next to you.
“what?” theo called back, before he finally understood your words. “what plan?”
“uh- i forgot” you answered before you broke into a loud giggle.
“let’s dance” theo encouraged, taking your hand in his and bringing your bodies closer together.
you recognized the song that was playing as ‘meddle about’ and theo smiled, because he recognized it too.
the dancefloor was quickly filled with even more people that had the sudden need to dance to the intoxicating music. the chandelier glistened in an intense green and if you weren’t mistaken, it flashed a lighter tone with each beat. someone had hexed it to fit the music playing perfectly.
theo and you moved effortlessly. it felt like you had no real control over your body, as you lost yourself in a haze of sweaty and hot bodies. the light made the scenery feel ethereal.
theo’s chest was warm as your hands pressed against him. he held you close by your waste, the fabric of your dress not able to lighten the heat of his touch.
he smirked down at you, when you threw your head back, your hair falling out of the clip you had secured it with. theo caught it effortlessly, clasping it around his belt.
his hand didn’t go back to it’s original position on your waste, but wandered to your neck, lifting your head up, so that your eyes met his. his face looked heavenly in the green light illuminating it. his skin looked like porcellain and the usual blue of his eyes was a mirror to everything playing out before you, you even noticed your own face in them.
“that’s me—“ you pointed to his left eye as theo brought you close in the same second, connecting your mouths and interrupting the rest of your sentence.
his lips were soft and just as hot as the bodies surrounding you. he tasted of nicotine and —if you weren’t mistaken—, a hint of blaise’s weed you both had inhaled, but maybe that was only due to your own state of intoxication.
theo’s hands wandered through your hair, tilting your head to bring you even closer to him. you found help in his tie, your hand clasping around it like a lifeline as your knees got weak at the way he was kissing you.
you felt yourself fall deeper and deeper into the haze as theo’s lips intoxicated your body even further, but you were interrupted by a loud snapping sound.
you broke the kiss. “what was that?” you muttered against his mouth. it looked like no one around you had heard what you had, maybe they were even further gone than you.
“i don’t care” theo mumbled, pushing his mouth to yours again.
“no” you said when he began kissing you neck. there was the sound again. “theo, we have to stop”
“no, why—“
“we’re falling for it” you said, holding his face in your hands. you quickly noticed the redness in his eyes. “it’s not real, theo, we have to wake up”
theo ignored what you were saying and tried to kiss you again, but you quickly swerved to the side. that seemed to have been enough for him to fall out of his own trance. “what—where?”
“yeah, i know, we—“ the snapping sound repeated for a third time. now louder, more urgent. you searched the room for a hint where it was coming from, when your eyes finally wandered to the ceiling above you.
your eyes widened. three of the five strings that were holding the chandelier had snapped. it was hanging dangerously to the side, only waiting for the other two strings to break.
“the chandelier” you said and theo understood immediately, helping you to push the people away.
you had reacted at the right time. just a second after you had pushed the last guy away, the fourth and fifth string snapped at the same time, sending the chandelier flying down.
theo and you, having been the last people in the middle, dashed to the side. he pressed you body to his chest, as you watched the chandelier fall apart right in front of your feet.
a few seconds went by without anything happening.
1, 2, 3. when finally loud screaming broke out and everyone fell into a similar panic. the people began running to every side, while theo and you stood in the middle of the room, watching the chaos around you unfold.
people were screaming all sorts of things. from ‘oh my god, so close!’ to ‘someone just tried murdering me’
you continued standing still, quickly realizing that it was to no use to throw yourself into the panicking crowd. bodies hit you as they ran through the room without care and theo and you could only wait and hold each other until the panic had calmed down.
a body collided with yours, almost pulling your hand along as they ran around you. theo caught you, pulling you back. you watched after the figure in confusion.
“what is it?” theo muttered, noticing the room had calmed down as the guests were pouring out of it. he walked you both to the wall, away from the leaving crowd.
you held up your hand between his and your body, revealing the content inside. it was a crumpled up piece of paper the unfamiliar person had given you admist the chaos.
theo furrowed his brows, taking the paper from you and folding it open, reading the words written inside of it: “humpty dumpty sat on a wall, humpty dumpty had a great fall. all the king’s horses and all the king’s men”
you looked at him, waiting for him to finish. nothing happened. “couldn’t put humpty together again?”
“yeah” theo nodded, “but it doesn’t say that” he held the paper in your direction, showing you how the rhyme ended in the middle of the last verse.
“what does that even mean?”
“i have no idea” theo pushed the paper into the pocket of his trousers, “but i say we get out of here. we cannot be sure the noise hasn’t triggered a teachers attention”
“yeah” you nodded. you looked behind you at the door that was hiding both blaise and probably the most dangerous artifact in the whole castle, debating if you should warn him. the door flew open, revealing blaise leaning in the doorway.
he waved at you, clearly less intoxicated, and watched as theo walked you out of the room.
“despite how the night ended it was pretty successful, right?”
“you think so?” theo asked surprised. “i wouldn’t say we found out a lot”
“well, i’m pretty sure that we can rule out the artifact as a motive. i mean she didn’t even want it back, it would’ve been easy enough to steal it from the professor, but blaise is basically no threat if the killer was really trying to get to the artifact”
“yeah, you’re right” theo nodded. “if the artifact was the motive, there would've been no murder, so it’s basically a false lead”
“maybe an intentional false lead” you thought aloud. “remember who first mentioned it?”
“mattheo” theo muttered, realizing it had been his friend who had first brought up the existence of a dangerous dark magical artifact.
“but mattheo isn’t the killer” you quickly assured.
“how can you be so sure?” he challenged, skepticism dancing in his eyes.
“well, first of all: it’s mattheo we’re talking about” you replied, shaking your head. “he isn’t stupid, and he doesn’t even have a motive. why would he risk an unnecessary murder when he gets absolutely nothing from it? no, the killer had a reason. a good reason.”
“something that warrants a murder?”
“no” you shook your head. “something that requires a murder”
“a point of no return?”
exactly” you nodded.
the both of you were walking down the corridor to the gryffindor common room, theo not leaving you alone until he was sure you were safe. you had made a stop at the room of requirement, switching back into your normal clothes, as to not reveal where you had been the whole evening.
“i know it’s not really the right time, but i just wanted to tell you that i had a great time, apart from all the drug intoxication and us nearly being killed by the chandelier, thanks for saving me by the way”
you smiled at him, stopping in the middle of the hallway as you looked at each other. “i couldn’t have imagined better company than you, theo nott”
“don’t flatter me, sparrow. you’re the most—“
the portrait to the common room flew open, revealing an angry harry potter. he was red in the face as he walked in your direction with an urgency you had never seen before.
hermione almost fell as she tumbled out of the portrait behind him. she looked even worse. the buttons on her cardigan were only halfway done, missing out one completely as it hung to the side. her face was as red as harry’s but not from anger. the reason for it were the tears on her face, sobs shaking her whole body as she tried reaching for harry’s arm.
“i couldn’t stop him” she sobbed, trying her best to hold him back from theo and you. “i’m sorry”
“what?” you muttered confused “what happened?”
theo was less relaxed than you, quickly interpreting the scene, knowing clearly well hermione would’ve never revealed your secret. “what did you do to her potter?” he stepped in front of you protectively, softly pushing hermione behind him at the same time.
“what have i done to her?” harry huffed unbelieving. “what have you done to my sister?”
“harry, please i can—“
“no, you can’t” harry shook his head. “i have been worried sick. there’s been a murder and you’re nowhere to be found, running around with him. he is part of the people we once stayed clear of, remember?”
“harry, please don’t—i mean burbage, she—“
harry shook his head and you had to look around theo’s body to make out his expression, the surprise in his eyes making your eyes widen, while hermione was hanging on your arm like it was a lifeline.
“i’m not talking about burbage”
“what?” you muttered in shock, stepping around theo to fully look at your brother, hermione right by your side. “where is ron?”
you could feel hermione shake her head.
“it’s not ron” harry declared and your breath calmed down for just a second, before he added “it’s neville.”
hermione sobbed again. tears shimmered in your eyes, while you grabbed theo’s arm as not fall to the ground. you felt like you couldn’t breathe, the air being sucked from your lungs completely.
“longbottom?” theo almost whispered. even he was shocked at the revelation. none of you could even think about what would qualify neville as a murder victim. he was never involved in anything remotely bad. he always stayed clear of danger or forbidden stuff. how could someone even so much as think about—
“hermione found him in the library” harry’s voice was a lot calmer now, realizing your obvious shock to the situation and deciding there was no use in screaming at you now. you outstretched your arm, pulling hermione close. she hid her face in your shoulder, as both of you cried together. “this was in his hand. she thought you might want to see it, so she made a copy” he held a little piece of paper in theo’s direction, who quickly took it.
“how?” you whispered, while theo was staring at the writing.
“stabbed” harry’s voice broke, as he looked to the ground. he cleared his throat, taking hermione from your arms and walking her back to the portrait. “please come inside now” he demanded, but his voice was only so much as a whisper, defeat swinging along in his tone.
you nodded quickly, ready to follow behind them, when theo held you back. “wait”
and with that he held the paper in your direction, the one neville had held in his hand when he died. you looked at him, silently asking if that was really important now, when he nodded down at it.
your eyes fell on theo’s hand, the veins popping out through the hard grasp he had on the paper. his hand was shaking, nerves playing out as he recited the earlier message you had received in the ballroom: “humpty dumpty sat on a wall, humpty dumpty had a great fall. all the king’s horses and all the king’s men..”
your gaze froze on the words, reading what was written on neville’s paper.
“..couldn’t put humpty together again”

Crashed The Wedding
thedore nott x reader
song inspo; crashed the wedding - busted
Tumblr media
'Nott, will you stop bouncing your fucking leg?' Mattheo groaned. Theo rolled his eyes at his friends theatrics. To be perfectly honest, he couldn't care less if he was getting on Mattheo's nerves. His mind was preoccupied with other things. This had to be one of the worst days of his life - correction, the worst day of his life.
One would usually be overjoyed that one of their best friends was getting married today, but not Theo. And not when he had been in love with the aforementioned best friend for the best part of ten years.
'I can't just fucking sit here.' He huffed, slouching in his chair. The boys had originally been on their way to Y/N's wedding ceremony when Theo demanded to stop the car, declaring he couldn't go on to watch Y/N marry someone else. After giving him some cigarettes to try and calm him down and numerous attempts to coax him back into the car, it was decided that Blaise and Enzo would continue onto the wedding while Draco and Mattheo stayed with Theo for moral support. So here they sat, dressed fully in a suit and tie, in a dingey pub Salazar knows where.
'Either get your arse up and go to the wedding, or stop your moaning!' Draco snapped, finishing the rest of his drink. It was now Theo's turn to be dramatic as he groaned and threw his head back.
'You know I can't go to the wedding, Malfoy!'
'Yeah, mate. He's only been in love with her for ten years; watching her walk down the aisle to someone else probably isn't on his bucket list.' Mattheo chimed, making Theo groan again and drop his head onto the pub table before him.
'What the fuck do I do?' He mumbled.
Mattheo shrugged after a minute's silence. 'Could crash the wedding.'
Theo's head shot up, and Draco's eyes widened. 'What the fuck did you just say?'
'I said you could crash the wedding. Y'know, barge in and-'
'Yes, I know what wedding crashing is, Riddle!'
'Oh, no, you don't! Don't you dare be considering this!' Draco hissed at the two boys before him. 'You cannot ruin her big day!'
'No, no—think about it, Malfoy. This was an arranged marriage, right? Her parents organised the whole thing?' Theo asked, hopeful eyes turning to Draco as he now sat up straight.
'Yes.' Draco gritted out.
'So Y/N didn't really want to go along with this, did she?'
'Absolutley not, mate. No one ever wants to comply with a marriage arranged by their parents just to keep a pure blood line!' Mattheo nodded along as Draco glared at him.
'Why are you encouraging this, Riddle?! You can't ruin her day; she's your best friend too!'
'Which is exactly why I want her to be truly happy! Both of them!' He retorted. The trio were now getting strange looks from the other occupants of the pub, but they couldn't care less.
'Am I insane to be seriously considering this?' Theo mumbled.
'Yes!'
'Theo, you've been in love with the girl since, what, third year? Pretty sure she's been in love with you since then, too. Neither one of you has ever made a move—why? Not a fucking clue. But if you seriously want a chance with her, this is quite literally the last chance you're ever going to get.' Mattheo spoke, probably the most serious either Theo or Draco had ever seen the boy.
'He's right.' Both boys' eyes snapped towards Draco.
'Oh, caved now, have we?' Mattheo asked sarcastically, raising an eyebrow.
'Piss off, Riddle.' Draco huffed before turning back to Theo. 'But he is right. This is your final chance to admit it to her. You don't have to barge into the place, wand ready for combat and all, but once those words are spoken, you've lost her, mate.'
Theo's eyes darted between the two boys before him as he nervously chewed his fingertip. He stood abruptly, knocking his previously occupied chair to the ground. 'I'm going to fucking do it.'
Tumblr media
'Y/N, you look absolutely stunning!' Pansy gushed as she stood behind the girl, lightly fixing her hair.
'Thanks Pans.' Pansy quirked an eyebrow as Y/N gave her a small smile through the mirror.
'Everything alright?'
'Y-yeah, no, I'm fine. Just nervous.'
'And you're sure you want to go through with this?' She asked, making Y/N frown at her best friend.
'Pansy.' She warned, making the brunette throw her hands up in surrender.
'I'm just checking, babes! It's my job to make sure you're all good!' Y/N turned and gave her a pointed look before both girls began giggling.
'I can't believe I'm getting married.'
'Me too. Come on, it's your time to shine.'
It was a relatively small wedding, with only a handful of guests from both the bride and groom. Y/N had to practically beg her father to let five of her friends attend.
Pansy made her way down the aisle first, arm linked with one of Jack's groomsmen. Smiling at her guests as she made eye contact, Y/N began her descent to the altar. Catching Enzo's eye, she laughed softly as he gave her a huge grin and a thumbs up. Her smile faded completely once she noticed the three seats next to Blaise and Enzo were empty—where were Mattheo, Draco, and most importantly, Theo? Could her best friend not even bother to show up for her wedding? Reaching the altar, she rapidly blinked the tears away before they could fall.
'Are you alright?' Pansy whispered as Y/N handed her the bouquet of flowers she carried down the aisle, causing the bride-to-be to nod curtly and turn to the altar.
The officiant began his speech as Pansy's eyes flew around the room, narrowing when she spotted only her boyfriend Blaise and Enzo in the empty row of where her friends should be. They had better be dead, or I will kill them.
'If anyone wishes to object to this marriage, please speak now or-'
The poor officiant was cut off mid-sentence as the door swung open, causing Y/N to flinch and their guests to gasp. Whipping her head around, she saw the cause of the interruption. Theodore Nott stood slightly out of breath in the doorway she had not long come through herself, looking like a deer caught in headlights, with Draco and Mattheo behind him.
'Holy shit.' He breathed, staring at the girl before him.
'Y/N, you... you look breath-taking...' The officiant cleared his throat, snapping Theo out of his trance as he looked around the room.
'Sorry! Sorry, uh, Y/N, can I borrow you for a second?' Y/N's eyes widened at the question.
'I'm kind of in the middle of something here, Theodore!' She hissed at the boy before her. Whirling around, she grabbed her soon-to-be-husband's hand and gestured for the officiant to continue.
'Oh, uh, yes! Yes. As I was saying, if anyone wishes to object to this marriage, please speak now or forever hold your peace.'
'I object!' The room filled with gasps and whispers as Theo shouted from the bottom of the aisle. Pansy's hand flew to her mouth, Blaise's eyes almost popped out of his head, and Enzo's jaw dropped. Mattheo stood grinning proudly behind Theo, while Draco's lips pursed.
'Theodore!' Y/N hissed again, whirling around to face her best friend with a thunderous look on her face.
'Please! Please, just hear me out, Y/N...' He begged, taking a step towards the altar, where she stood.
'I'm in love with you. So deeply, tragically, in love with you. You're all I ever think about, ever since that day in third-year potions when you had absolutely no clue what to do and asked if I could simplify the instructions for you. I thought to myself, how you were the most beautiful girl to ever roam the halls of Hogwarts, and that still stands true to this day.'
'You're the most beautiful girl to ever roam the entire earth. And not even just beauty; you are the smartest, funniest, and most caring person I have ever met in my entire life. And I'm sure anyone who has ever met you will one hundred percent agree with me when I say that you honestly light up any room you enter, even with just your smile.'
'And, quite frankly, I am the biggest fucking idiot on the planet because I have loved you, constantly, for over ten years, and I've never done a thing about it. I have so much to say, and I'm so fucking sorry that it's on your wedding day. I just had to tell you; I love you, Y/N'
The entire room was silent as Theo finished. He now stood a few steps below her, looking up into her eyes as she stared back at him with tears in her eyes, mouth opening and closing like a fish.
'Theo, I-I..'
'Fuck this.' Her groom mumbled, descending the few stairs and making his way back up the aisle. This seemed to snap Y/N out of her trance as she looked up from Theo's gaze after her groom.
'Jack - where are you going?'
'Come on; neither of us wanted this wedding; we were just doing it to please families. And I'm certainly not going to take that kind of love away from you.' He explained, nodding at Theo as he did so. Shooting her a wink, he turned and left the room, his family beginning to apparate out of the building after him.
Y/N blinked a few times before looking back to Theo, who she found was already staring up at her.
'I, I don't know what to say, Theo.' She whispered. He smiled as he took her hands, giving a light kiss to her knuckles.
'Mi amore, you don't have to say anything.' Y/N took a couple of steps down, becoming level with Theo as she placed her palms on either of his cheeks.
'It's taken me a moment to fully comprehend all of those lovely things you said about me, Theo. I guess I'm just overwhelmed, and that's why I can't find the words right now, but I just want to tell you that I love you too. So, so much, Theo. I love you so much.'
'Oh, thank Salazar.' He muttered before pulling her towards him and crashing his lips against hers. Y/N's arms moved around his neck as Theo's snaked around her waist, pulling her as close as he possibly could. The whooping and cheering of their friends broke the two apart as they pressed their foreheads together and grinned.
'Long time coming, eh, boys?'
'Berkshire, you owe me ten galleons; - told you they'd get together!'
silly little idea i had when i heard this song today

True to his word, Theo let you pay for your dress. And yet, a week before the wedding, you receive a charming set of pearls, courtesy of one Mr. Theodore Nott.
"Thin ice," you say to him as a means of greeting at the wedding. He bends down to kiss your cheek in hello, and when he steps back you see him grinning. His gaze flicks down to the pearls around your neck.
"Whatever for?"
After the quick hello, he's almost immediately pulled away again into his best man duties. You drift around, saying hi to a few familiar faces. In fact, you only find him again while exploring the venue.
You spy the groomsmen gathered near the entrance of the reception hall, a loose circle of dark suits and polished shoes, some fixing their cornflower boutonnieres, others already nursing drinks.
Theo stands in the middle of them, one hand in his pocket, looking effortlessly put together with his crisp sky-blue pocket square - that is, except for the small white rose in his hand, still separate from his lapel. He rolls it between his fingers absently, half-listening to whatever joke Enzo is telling.
You know you shouldn’t care. You know you shouldn’t notice the way it’s just slightly crumpled from where he’s been holding it for too long, fidgeting with it restlessly, like he hasn’t thought to ask for help, like he’s waiting for someone else to step in.
“Here,” you say anyway, stepping forward before you can think better of it.
Theo barely reacts as you pluck the flower out of his slack grip. He only shifts slightly, angling himself toward you, allowing you to close the space between you as you pin it into place.
You focus on the task at hand, on the fine, expensive fabric beneath your fingers, on making sure the flower is positioned just right. You don’t look at him, and if you feel his warm breath ghosting over your skin, you don't show it.
But he looks at you.
You feel it - the weight of his gaze, the way he watches you like it’s the most natural thing in the world for you to be doing this for him, the way you've done it a hundred times before.
And that’s when it appears. That quiet, unwelcome thought.
This isn’t who I am anymore.
Because it’s not just a boutonniere. It’s the way this feels too familiar, too easy - slipping into an old version of yourself, one who smoothed Theo’s collar without thinking, who fixed his tie before he headed out the door, the one who looked after him like it was just second nature.
Years have passed. You thought you had clawed out, escaped, and yet the second he comes running back to you, you’re back here, in his orbit, making sure he looks good for a moment that isn’t even yours.
And the worst part? He anticipates it.
Not in an entitled way. Not because he thinks it’s your job. But because this is how it’s always been. Because he still sees you as that girl. The one who stands beside him, just slightly behind. The one who makes things easier for him. The one who's ready to cheer him on from the sidelines. The one who's agreeable enough to not take up any more space than he could afford.
But that's just it, wasn't it? You weren't ready to give up a life of your own for his. You tolerated it until you started resenting him for it. He hadn't understood it then. He probably didn't understand it now. Either way, it didn't matter. It was too late.
“There.” You finish pinning the boutonniere, stepping away before the moment can stretch too thin.
Theo glances down at it briefly, then back at you. His lips part, like he might say something. But then someone else claps him on the back, congratulating him on something, and just like that, the moment passes.
You slip away, back into the crowd, back into yourself.
You don’t look back.
Tumblr media
The wedding is beautiful and the reception is a vivid, lively affair. You run into so many old friends and made so many new ones that you hardly felt the lack of Theo. You rather enjoy the swing band, but now the music is shifting into something slow, sweeping - a song made for moments like this.
Couples drift onto the dance floor, drawn in by the soft pull of violin strings bathed in candlelight. You’re content watching from your seat, half-listening to the slightly obscure conversation at your table until a hand extends into your view.
Theo.
You hadn't seen him since his toast, after which his attention had been demanded by a thousand other people for reasons that had nothing to do with his fame. Even at Hogwarts, people seemed drawn in by his aloof sincerity despite his somewhat reserved demeanour. You didn't mind watching him thrive in his element - you were more than happy in the company of the sparkling liquor at your table and friends-of-friends you'd only heard of.
Now, you blink up at him, a little dazed. Perhaps it would have been wise to stay a little more sober. His expression is unreadable, but there’s a shadow in his dark eyes. A quiet insistence.
“Dance with me.”
It’s not really a question. Your first instinct is to say no, but something in the way he looks at you makes you pause.
So you take his hand.
His palm is warm with a familiar roughness as it guides yours. He leads you onto the dance floor with a practiced ease, slotting a hand against your waist as if this is something you've done a hundred times before. As if this is something you still do.
It shouldn’t feel so effortless. It shouldn’t be this easy, falling into step with him. But it is.
The rest of the room falls away.
For a while, neither of you speak. The silence between you isn’t unfamiliar—it’s lived in, worn down by time. But it doesn’t settle the way it used to. There’s something restless underneath, roaming and nervous. You wonder if he can feel it too.
His hand tightens slightly at your waist, the smallest of gestures, but it makes something twist deep in your chest.
“People will talk,” you murmur, more to fill the space than anything else.
He doesn’t even glance around. “Let them.”
Easy for him to say. He more than looks the part of someone meant to be here - sharp suit, easy confidence, the kind of presence that draws attention like gravity. He belongs in ways you can only dream of.
Your dress is simple. Pretty, but not remarkable. Not the kind of thing people would take a second look at. And yet, standing beside him, in the center of the dance floor, you can feel the weight of glances which linger too long.
You know what they see.
A girl in borrowed glamour, playing pretend in someone else’s world. A fleeting guest on the arm of someone who’s only ever been untouchable. They’re probably wondering the same thing you are - why he asked you to dance in the first place.
You draw Theo closer, wrapping your arms around his neck as you press your cheek into the crook of his neck. Anything to hide your face from him. For the first time in years, you feel inadequate.
“Relax.” You feel Theo's voice vibrate through his chest, low, almost amused, like he can read every thought passing through your mind.
"I am," you rasp. It's an unconvincing sound even to your own ears. Y
ou begin to wish you hadn't agreed to this. It was a stupid reminder of the trophy wife you never knew how to be.Despite what he might think, you hadn't abandoned your relationship at the first sign of strife. You tried - Merlin, you tried - squeezing yourself into a box to make even more room for him. But eventually, you had to accept that you just weren't that girl - the one who was glamorous yet self-fulfilled enough to be seen on his arm.
He imperceptibly slides his hand up your back. “You look fine.”
It’s a throwaway comment, a dismissive sort of reassurance. It shouldn’t matter. And yet, you feel the familiar sting of something old, something buried, something you promised yourself to forget. A part of you missed this, missed him, so here you were, play-acting at being man and wife.
The music swells, and he turns you effortlessly in time with it. You move like muscle memory, feet gliding through the motions without thinking.
Maybe this is why you said yes - because of the way his hand fits against yours, or the way his gaze softens when he thinks you’re not looking. Because the two of you can't help but work this well together.
You exhale, carefully schooling your expression into something even as you pull back to face him. “I wasn’t asking for your opinion.”
Theo’s mouth lifts at the corner—barely a smirk, but there’s something knowing in it. He doesn’t reply.
The song begins to fade, the final notes melting into the hum of the reception. Theo slows to a stop, fingers loosening around yours, and something flickers in his expression. Like he wants to say something. Like he’s looking at you - really looking, as if for the first time.
But then someone calls his name from across the room. His attention flickers, just for a second, but it’s enough. The moment shifts and dissolves.
Tomorrow you'll wake up in a cold, empty bed with aching feet. The both of you will go back to living your separate lives, but each night you'll wonder if tonight was a dream that never really happened.
You step back, slipping out of his hold before he can do it first. Before the silence between you turns into something else.
“Thanks for the dance,” you say lightly, already turning.
You don’t look back to see if he watches you go. And if your hands still feel warm where he held them, well - that’s nobody’s business but yours.

The reception hall is empty now, save for the two of you. The candles have burned low, wax pooling in their gilded holders, and the last of the champagne sits in your glass, its fizz whispering in the quiet. The music stopped a while ago. So did the dancing, the toasts, and the laughter of people whose love doesn’t come with fine print and hidden clauses.
But you’re still here. And so is Theo.
He’s warm beside you, your shoulder tucked into his as he leans back in his chair, one arm slung lazily across the back of yours. The night has left you both a little drunk, a little drowsy, a little too comfortable in each other’s company. Even with the buzz of the drinks, it's getting harder and harder to ignore the chill creeping up your arms. You don’t remember when you started leaning into him, but he hasn’t moved away. You hope he doesn't anytime soon.
He turns his head, eyeing what's left of the extravagantly lavish cake. "Seven tiers, half of which will go uneaten," Theo mutters, voice threaded with amusement. "It is Mattheo's wedding, after all. Why have enough when you can have far too much?"
You let out a soft laugh, tilting your head against his shoulder. "Like you're one to talk about...excesses."
Theo gives a long-suffering sigh.
"Is that what you think of me? Excessive?"
"I think," you say in a tone of faux innocence, "you don't want to know what I think of you."
He groans and throws his head back, eliciting a laugh from you. It's a strangely effective balm, this good-natured ribbing, or maybe it's the alcohol. You swirl the last sip of champagne in your glass. The gold catches the light, shimmering against the crystal, and you think—not for the first time tonight—how easy this is. How easy it always was with him.
Maybe it’s the champagne. Maybe it’s the quiet. Maybe it’s the fact that the wedding is over, and yet you’re still here, wrapped up in Theo like a memory, like you’ve forgotten that you were just supposed to be his date for the night.
"You’re warm," you murmur, shifting slightly to press closer.
He huffs a laugh. "You’re drunk."
"Just tipsy." You look up at him, eyes heavy-lidded. "Big difference."
The alcohol has made your consciousness deliciously blurry. You become aware of the cold, rigid surface of your shoes pressing against your aching feet. In your mind's eye, you see your slippers melting off your feet, clear as glass, dripping diamonds which promise to wound your feet.
But you're still curled up with Theo, perched on some delicate fence between exes or something more, and even now, years on, you know he won't let you fall - he never did and he never would.
If only things were the same with you.
You were no longer the girl who knew how to love Theo the way you once did, wholly and purely. You wished you were. Tears gather under your eyelashes like crystals, heavy with remorse. You wished you knew how. For the love of God, wouldn't someone tell you how?
He watches you for a beat longer than he should.
And then his hand comes up, slow enough that you could stop him if you wanted to. His knuckles ghost over your jaw, then his fingers slip beneath your chin, tilting your face toward his.
You should stop him.
But the champagne is warm in your veins, his bedroom eyes are the worst kind of drug and the way he looks at you—like he still remembers exactly how you take your tea, like he still knows how to make you laugh even when you don’t want to—makes you hesitate just long enough for his lips to brush yours.
It’s not desperate. Not hurried. Just a quiet thing, lingering at the edges of something once lost.
For a moment, you let yourself sink into it.
For a moment, it’s easy to forget.
But then the thought creeps in—quiet, insidious.
I’m not that girl.
Not the girl he wants or the girl he needs.
You pull away before the thought can swallow you whole.
Theo blinks, exhaling like he hadn’t realized he was holding his breath. It almost sounds like disappointment. He doesn’t say anything, just watches you with something unreadable in his eyes.
You don’t resent him for this. Not anymore.
It’s not his fault you still feel the echoes of something that should have faded years ago.
And it’s not your fault that you know better now.

"I'll always love you"
Tumblr media
Theodore Nott × fem!reader
Summary: you watch Theo getting married to someone who's not you and all the memories comes flooding in your mind, as the priest say "speak now or hold your peace forever" you couldn't help but wonder what you should do.
Warning: slight angst ig.
Pt 2 , Pt 3, PT 4
Tumblr media
"I'll always love you" those words came running into my mind as I watch him marry his 'love of my life' I watched his eyes teared up as she walk down the aisle and another memory flooded "we'll have destination wedding y/n/n" Theo giggled as he said those words, I looked at him in surprise "you want us to get married theo?" "Ofc my love, who else would i marry??"
I chuckled at the irony. I was supposed to be in that wedding dress marrying him, i was supposed to be the one whom he's smiling at, but no I wasn't the bride, it was Daphne. I was nothing but a guest to him.
I remember the day we broke up, it wasn't because of our feelings died, it was simply because I misunderstood the situation due to my overthinking and it lead to a huge fight which he infact was trying to sort out, but I messed up, I didn't gave him chance to explain and I left him.
"If you have any objection to the wedding, speak now or hold your peace forever" as the priest said those words i remembered another memory of us, something I'll always cherish,
"theo, if we ever broke up will you not love me?" They say curiosity kills the cat and it indeed killed me, as I asked the question theo looked at me in hurt. "Why would you ever say that?" He asked me with a glint of hurt in his eyes. And stubborn me can't help but want an answer, so I spoke "No answer me!". "No my love, no matter what I'll always love you, I'll never stop loving you" he reassured me with a kiss.
They say if you love someone and they simply aren't meant for you, you've to let them go to prove your love. You have to set them free and let them be happy even if it meant them not being with you. So that's what I did I held my peace forever.
Theo looked at me in eyes in fear that I'll say something I looked at him gave him a small nod reassuring that I won't speak, and with a weak smile i mumbled "congratulations" he nodded and gave me his brightest smile.
The wedding ended with "you may kiss your bride" and with that I left the church. Forever holding onto my peace and the things I left unsaid.
