Summary: The reader gets settled in with The Bloodline alongside her brother, Sami. Along the way, she learns that a certain Samoan has had his eyes on her for a while now.

"Come on! Just hit him, already, Sikoa!" You shout at Solo from below the ring apron.

Jimmy and Jey shoot you a glance from either side of you, and Sami tugs at your leg to get you to come down to the floor. You hop down to where your brother is waiting and give him an annoyed look.

"Y/N, come on." Sami scolds you. "You aren't helping." He reminds you.

You roll your eyes, annoyed that Sami even made you come out here with him. "You're the one that said I needed to come out and support the team more, Sami." You remind him in an accusing tone. "So here I am, supporting the team. And we both know that Sikoa could have Butch on the mat and begging for mercy in an instant if we wanted to."

"Just be nice, please." Sami sighs and jumps up to join the twins.

You remain on the floor and Jey tags into the match. Solo slips out of the ring and hops down to the floor to recover before he's needed again. You lean on the ring post with your arms crossed and watch him catch his breath.

"You're staring." Solo catches your eyes on him, that usual scowl plastered on his face.

"Just looking out for my team." You reply dryly and avert your gaze for the time being. "Look's like you need to work on your cardio, Sikoa. All out of breath so soon, big man?" You can't help but tease him.

Sikoa stands back up straight, obviously irked by your words. But he chooses instead to hop back up to the ring apron and rejoin his brothers.

A few minutes later a brawl breaks out in the ring and you try your best to stay out of the way. Much to your dismay, Ridge Holland comes around the corner as you are making your retreat.

"Y/N." Ridge locks eyes with you.

"...Ridge." You swallow and take a small step back. "I don't suppose that we could talk this out, could we?" You ask him with a nervous laugh.

Ridge shakes his head and advances on you. "Fraid not, love." He shrugs and begins closing in on you.

You go to turn tail and run for whoever happens to be closest to you at the moment. When you turn around, Solo is just getting done tossing Butch into the barricade.

"Yo, mister enforcer." You hurry forward and slip behind Solo. "It's time to put some of all that muscle to good use." You put a hand on the back of his shoulder and point at Ridge.

Solo nods and uses a hand to push you back a little bit before he lurches forward and tackles Ridge to the ground. You then proceed to watch Solo pick Holland up and backdrop him into the announce table before he stalks back over to you.

"There, happy?" He asks you with a sour expression.

You glance at Ridge now laid out in the rubble of the commentary table and nod. "Yeah...thanks, Solo." You thank him. "What now?"

Solo surveys the area and decides that it be better if you weren't in the way anymore. "Come on, stay close." He barks an order at you and you nod.

Solo muscles his way through the chaotic carnage of people fighting all around you and stops when you get to the top of the ramp.

"Thanks." You thank Sikoa again once you're at the top of the ramp. "I'll be backstage. Go kick thier asses." You send Sikoa back down the ramp to help Sami and his brothers.

You step through the curtain and find Roman waiting with Paul at his side. Roman beckons you over to his side once you're through the curtain so you hurry over to him.

"Where's everyone else?" He stares down at you with judgment in his eyes.

"I didn't want to keep getting in the way." You reply sheepishly and rub your arm. "Sikoa muscled me up the ramp so he wouldn't have to watch my back the whole time." You explain.

Roman nods but doesn't give you a verbal reply. You cough and take your place waiting at his side silently. While you wait you watch the tv monitor and see Solo on poor Ridge Holland again. You know that Sikoa is a pretty violent dude. But this is a bit much, even for him.

Eventually, The Bloodline all file up the ramp and come through the curtain. Sami walks over to make sure that you're alright.

"I'm fine, Sami." You assure him. "Solo got me out of the way before things got heated." You nod to Solo a few feet away talking to Roman and Jey.

Sami glances at Solo and nods. "Yeah, he's definitely in a mood tonight." He chuckles. "I mean did you catch the way he went at Ridge Holland?"

"Yeah..." You nod. "I think that might be my fault." You rub the back of your neck. "Ridge was sort of intending on bothering me before the fight got intense. I ducked behind Solo and sort of asked him to handle it."

"Oh, well, that explains it then." Sami chuckles like you've just answered a question for him.

You furrow your brows at your brother. "Explains what?" You ask him.

"Why Sikoa went off on Ridge," Sami replies like it's the most obvious thing in the world. "Holland was messing around with Solo's girl. Very bad move on his part." He chuckles.

"His girl?" You reply. "Excuse me? Since when?" You shake your head in disbelief.

Sami chuckles again and ruffles your hair affectionately. "Oh, Y/N. My naive little sister." He teases you. "Sikoa's got quite the crush on you."

"He does?" You glance over at Solo still talking with Roman and Jey. "Since when?"

"No clue." Sami shrugs. "I've known for a while now. Why do you think that Madcap Moss stopped talking to you? And Ricochet as well for that matter?" He asks you. "Sikoa's been scaring them all off so he's got you all to himself."

"Has he now?" You turn and stare at Sikoa. "I liked Madcap." You frown.

Roman and Jey break away from Sikoa to talk with Paul and Jimmy. You take your chance and march over to Sikoa to confront him.

"Hey, Solo!" You catch his attention as you march over to him.

Solo turns to you, his scowl a bit softer than it usually is. "Holland won't be bothering you again anytime soon, that's for sure." He informs you.

"Yeah, him and any other man that dares speak to me." You mumble. "Is it true what Sami just told me? You've been running off guys I'm talking to without my knowledge?" You confront Sikoa.

Solo nods casually. "Yeah, so?" He replies with a shrug. "You ain't need to be talking to any other man but me, girl." He informs you. "And we both know that you're into me. So what's the issue?"

"Excuse me?" You reply in shock. "What's the issue?" You repeat him. "Last time I checked, you've never even asked me out on a date." You remind him.

Solo doesn't reply at first, but you can tell that he's got some kind of idea brewing. After a few seconds of you waiting for a reply, Sikoa shrugs and puts a hand on your shoulder to orient you towards the door.

"What are you doing?" You ask, digging your heels into the floor to stop Sikoa from moving you.

"You want to go on a date so bad?" Sikoa replies casually. "Come on then, get a move on girl." He pushes you towards the door. "Yo, Roman! I'll catch you all later, man. Y/N and me gonna be busy for the rest of the night!"

You try and protest but Sikoa has you out the door and heading for the garage before you can get a word out. You can hear Roman and what sounds like Sami both laugh as you are dragged off.

SUPRISE

WARNINGS: None

I feel my nerves ise as the usos music hits and I walk out with them. 

“Coming to the ring accompanied by award-winning special effects artist Y/n L/n, the Usos.” The announcer rambles off. The crowd cheers as we make our way down the ramp into the ring. Mics are quickly handed out. 

“I know you guys were expecting for me and Jimmy to come out and cut the promo for our upcoming match. But tonight is different.”

“Very different.” Jimmy adds.

“Yes. Tonight’s special. You see, on top of being a special effects artist this tattooed and pierced grizzly bear is the man that’s captured our younger brother’s heart and tonight he’s going to finally propose to him and officially become a part of the family.”

“I know, finally, after all these years. It’s been too long in the making.” I silently laugh at Jimmy. It’s true it’s been a long time in the making. 

“Agree 100% and right now we got Sami bringing him out here.” The big monitor changes to a view of a camera backstage. Sami walks into the locker room happily with the blindfold in hand.

“Uce, I got a surprise for you.”

“I hate surprises.”

“You like this one, I promise. Just put this blindfold on.” Sami says holding the blind fold out to him. Solo looks at it, then backs up at Sami, contemplating it.

“Come on Uce.”

“Fine.” He grumbles, putting the blindfold on. 

“Alright, I just gonna lead you a way to your surprise.”

“This better not be a trap.”

“I wouldn’t do that to you, Uce.” And it’s true from what I’ve seen and heard Sami’s real nice. We watch the monitor as Sami guides him through backstage, almost running him in to a couple of things, but ultimately it’s Sami that runs into Roman. 

“Hey Roman.”

“Why is Solo blind folded?”

“I got to take him to his surprise.”

“Mmm I’ll help. Don’t need you battering up my number 2 on the way.” Roman then helps Sami guide Solo out to the ring without almost running into everything. They guide Solo up the steps of the ring and help him in. They guide him to the middle of the ring and I get down on one knee and pull out the ring. Jimmy hands me his microphone as Jey hands his to Sami.

“You can take off the blindfold, Uce.” Solo reaches back and unties it. It falling to the ground completely upon seeming me down on one knee. I see his eyes visibly soften and my heart begins to warm.

“Solo Sikoa, you have made me the happiest man in the world. You’ve been with me through thick and thin. You supported me and stood up for me. I remember the day I met you like it was yesterday. It was the first day of 9th grade. I was sitting at the back of the class. Everyone was too scared to approach me because of the piercing and dark clothes. But not you. You came up to me and introduced yourself with such confidence. I appreciated that. And then you sat with me at lunch when no else would and asked me what I liked. You didn’t shy away from me just because I enjoyed the macabre. You embraced it. You embraced me.

I remember the first time you stuck your neck out for me. I remember the first fight you got into because someone was talking shit about me. I remember cleaning your bloody knuckles like how I did to mine so many times. I remember taking you home and your mom freaking out about you getting into a fight. I remember the talk your father gave me on the way out. Telling me to stay away from you because I was in trouble. And to be fair, I was and still am trouble. I remember how you disregarded your parents and still hung out with me despite everything.

I remember feeling so lucky. I still do feel lucky that I have you. You have been my rock for day one. And I remember the first time I asked you out. I remember the drive-in the movie theater we went to and what movie was playing. And I remember what we both got at that dinner we went to after. I remember kissing you for the first time that night. I remember the fireworks that went off in my stomach that still manage to be just as potent now as they were then. I remember the first time you introduced me as your boyfriend and how your mother practically fainted. I also remember your father telling me to get my shit together and figure out what I was going to do after we graduated and if I didn’t, I wouldn’t be allowed to see you. I’m glad he did that because that was part of the reason I decided to pursue special effects. I also was madly in love with you and couldn’t think of life without you and I still feel that way. So I buckled down and started to pursue special effects. I wanted to prove myself to you and your family. I wanted them to see that I would take care of you. That I was the man for you. And all my hard worked payed off and I remember getting my first job as an assistant to Greg Nicotero. I remember how proud you were of me. And I remember how excited you were when I landed my first job as a lead special effects artist. 

I remember so many things. And I’ll continue to remember these memories and more until I’m old and grey. And I hope I can remember this moment for years to come. So Joseph Yokozuna Fatu, will you continue you to make me the happiest man and marry me?” He just nods, wiping his tears away with his right hand. I place the microphone down and I grab his left hand and slide the ring on to it. The crowd goes crazy as I stand up and kiss him. I smile into the kiss as the others set off confetti poppers. Pulling away, I look down at him, wiping away the excess tears.

“I love you with all my being.” I say.

“I love you too.”

Pairing: Jimmy Uso x Fem reader

Description: Some people just can't believe how you and Jimmy are together

You and Jimmy were complete opposites, while he was quick witted, humorous, goofy, and wise you were patient, kind, gentle, sweet, and forthright, all of which brought the two of you together. You had met him and his brother Jey when you turned heel and joined them as their third and all three together joined the bloodline despite Roman not wanting to have you join but you proved your loyalty but you also stood up to him like no one else did which made jimmy fall for you even more than he already had, after two years of being friends and in the bloodline thanks to help from jey and Sami, the two of you confessed and got together and kept it from roman until you announced it to fans on the Internet who showed support for the two of you along with sami, Solo, jey, and other wrestlers but roman was even more determined to separate the two of you. You fought with him and then after sami left, you broke down and told jimmy that you wanted to be with him but you couldn't be in the bloodline anymore, he immediately showed his support and agreed to confront him which then led to him and jey leaving together and reuniting with sami who was proud and happy that the three of you chose yourselves and each other instead of continuing to take roman's abuse, he sometimes laughs at you and jimmy until you both asked him why "Well it's just how different you are from each other, yet it brings the two of you together so perfectly" you both looked at each other smiling as jey laughs agreeing with sami and soon you earned many different not just compliments about the two of you together but also just how did you two get together, but you just simply smile and say how your differences being the two of you together.

It’s Summerslam weekend, bois!! Let’s gooooo. And with it, here are some more (likely inaccurate) predictions. But, it’s what I want to happen, so it’s alright. One can dream, right? Let’s roll!!

Cody Rhodes 👑 versus Solo Sikoa for the Undisputed WWE Championship: 0.1% chance of Solo winning this match. Cody is retaining, after Bloodline 2.0 interference and part of the OG Bloodline (Roman Reigns and Jimmy Uso) interfere, mostly targeted at Solo Sikoa.

Sami Zayn 👑 versus Bron Breakker for the Intercontinental Championship: Soooooo—-. Sami Zayn. I’m going against most of the other predictions. I just can’t get behind Breakker’s character. He’s a phenomenal athlete, but I can’t stand the character. I can’t do it. I don’t like bullies, Bron is a bully. Sami, come in clutch here man, please.

LA Knight 👑 versus Logan Paul for the United States Championship: Okay, I’ll be straight up with y’all. I don’t like Logan Paul. I don’t think he’s a good person, and I wish he wasn’t in the WWE. LA Knight deserves the championship more. He actually puts in the work and shows up every week. So please, LA. Get the championship and show us what a real champion actually looks like. Yeah!

Rhea Ripley 👑 versus Liv Morgan for the World Women’s Championship: This is bound to be a good match with a ton of bad blood already in it. There is a lot of discussion about interference here, and I could definitely see it. I’m still taking Rhea to win this though, even with interference against her.

Bayley 👑 versus Nia Jax for the WWE Women’s Championship: I’m hoping for Bayley here, but either woman who wins here is going to have to think about Tiffany Stratton and her briefcase. I guess the same goes for Rhea and Liv, but they’ve definitely been hinting at her trying to cash in for this particular title. We’ll see what direction they take!

Damian Priest 👑 versus Gunther for the World Heavyweight Championship: Gunther is a phenomenal wrestler, but I can’t personally justify supporting him with the comments he’s made about Damian these past few weeks. Damian for the winnn!

Drew McIntyre 👑 versus CM Punk with Seth Freakin’ Rollins as special guest referee: Okay, but let’s be honest, Seth’s outfit is going to be the actual winner here. Seriously though, McIntyre all the way. 3 separate title matches (including WrestleMania which we all know what happened there), CM Punk interfered. I’m done with it, man. Drew deserves to finally win against him. He needs it, I need it, we all need it.

Ok I don't watch WWE but I've been following the Sami storyline through you and a few others' liveblogging, can I get a recap over what happened tonight cause y'all are having fun 👀

YEAH OFC I GOT U!!!!

so basically they had the trial of sami zayn, where they were deciding whether or not sami was guilty of betraying the bloodline n stuff. so paul put together a video package of evidence against sami, basically him running away from a couple fights backstage and being unsure abt hitting kevin and slightly bumping into roman’s shoulder, trying to prove sami is bad.

sami got rlly emotional and said he was so hurt, he had no defense, he couldn’t believe he was actually being put in that position by someone he trusted. so roman gets pissed and calls solo to hit sami w the samoan spike, BUT!!!! JEY JUMPS IN!!!!! AND STOPS SOLO!!!!! and starts his own defense, with HIS OWN VIDEO PACKAGE OF EVIDENCE!!!!! it had a ton more of sami saving the bloodline and putting himself in harm’s way, and jey had a spiel about how much he trusts sami and how sami saw the good in him even when jey was treating him terribly. he said he loves sami like a brother, and he believes in him, and so should everyone else. he gets jimmy and the entire crowd to put up the one to support sami, and finally roman calls him not guilty.

but he says he doesn’t wanna see sami until royal rumble and he’s on thin ice and has to have his final test at the rumble. but hey and jimmy go and give sami hugs and support him and are real sweet and great and it’s rlly heartfelt!!!

THENNNNN during the tag match right after, jimmy gets injured (kayfabe) and sami jumps in instead!!! he and jey do great and have an awesome rest of the match, going back and forth saving each other from near falls. and eventually he and jey hit the usos’ finisher and sami gets the pin and saves the raw tag titles for the usos!!! roman is still angry at him backstage, but i mean. at least he’s got the usos!!!! and he and jey are happy and supporting each other!!!

See as much as I’d love for a little Jey and Rhea flirt.. cause I would!!!

I’m kinda loving the terror twins being alone vs the old JD. It makes them look so much better! It’s us vs the world type shit.

But I have a feeling my Jey will make An appearance somehow one day soon to even the numbers (with Sami possibly after he loses today)

Yeah, I'm choosing to remain hopeful that the J&R thing isn't totally dead yet, but I don't think Jey's dad has anything to do with it, even though that seems to be a persistent opinion, LOL. If it doesn't happen it's because WWE doesn't actually have a plan for them beyond "flirting". But watching the Terror Twins team up against the Dollar Store Judgment Day (thanks, Rhea!) makes perfect sense right now considering they're the two who got embarrassed on such a big stage in such a big moment. And if anyone was gonna have Damian's back or vice versa for Rhea...the first choice was always gonna be each other, even for the fans, because they're just that close. I'm not looking for a J&R relationship, really (even though I'd love to be a fly on the wall during THOSE strategy meetings...), I just want enough of a friendship or even an understanding to be built to the point that it wouldn't be out of left field for one of them to be in the other's corner as a source of support. (Most likely Jey for Rhea and Damian since they're still in a 2-against-5). (Ofc this all depends on how much longer WWE wants Jey to stay with the red brand before reuniting with his brothers and cousin, and if Jimmy really is getting his own run - as Roman's and Solo's nemesis - that increases the chances that Jey won't have to be back in the immediate future.)

i don't think i've ever elaborated on that to anyone actually in the time between jey leaving and roman coming home, and its going to be hard to do at midnight with. i shant say his name lest he appear but believe me i am being haunted by his theme[s]. but i'll try

okay so. after the sami incident jey left the bloodline and left home [world is shaped a bit different but most of the family lived in the same neighborhoodish sized area] entirely. he went full no contact because everyone was like well you just have to get used to listening to roman, you have to accept that it's going to take time before he settles into his position, you don't have to agree with him but you hear to respect him, etc etc. and he was like, "no. it's been three years, i loved sami, i'm not doing this anymore and if you're not going to support that then i don't need your support."

he pretty much Only told comet he was leaving, and comet, only here in this mess bc he followed jey home twenty years ago, said, "okay. we're leaving. i have to tell solo goodbye." and jey told him "no, YOU are staying here to take care of everyone the way you always do when we're gone. you can do it. i believe in you. i will be back for you but i don't know when that is."

and so comet was left to watch roman continue to fuck it all up and eventually get his shit kicked in and retreat to god knows where to nurse his wounded ego. and solo, who had wanted it during court when the twins jokingly offered it to him, stepped up and into the role, and, well, comet and jimmy were never that close, but he and solo were both late to learn to communicate like the rest of the family. and solo wanted it, and comet was like, okay. he's going to do better. he's always been more gentle than roman. we can do this.

but by that point solo was convinced roman was only wrong for being too weak to keep a grip on everything. roman had filled his head with thoughts of what he should be to be the head of the table. and he was furious at his brothers for being failures too. and at paul, who was basically their uncle, for letting roman a) do all that b) do all that for nothing. unlike roman solo kept insisting it was just for the time being, that he was going to fix it and then things could go back to normal, but unfortunately that's not how things work and it took a fair amount of begging and pleading and getting his shit kicked in before he understood that.

and jey came home a little different, and roman finally came home too, very very different. and comet Did Not forgive roman right away. solo, that was easy, he and solo has been close their whole lives. but roman never saw comet as family, or a friend, or anything--he was some fucking thing jey brought home, some pet whose goal was to embarrass him by virtue of being a wild animal trying to talk to him at school and then in front of his shield brothers and then in front of his company.

except now comets the only one who has told him he was being a jackass the entire time, the only one who wouldn't take him back with open arms, who held it all against him. and that hurts because he loves everyone else so, so much, stuck around through it even though he had no obligation to just to clean up roman's messes. and comet cannot stand him for what he did to the family, to everyone he brought home that comet befriended, to himself, to him, to the world. he just hates roman.

except he doesn't, he's just mad and hurt and confused because why would you do that! but somehow roman manages to convince him that he's changed and they end up together and then officially on paper comet is in the family. the end.

Sami looks bored, and Jey is alone. We need the Jey/Sami reunion. It would fix everything. Plus, if anyone kept the judgemental day in line, it was the bloodline. They only got so bold when the bloodline started falling apart. And you know who also kept the bloodline... in line. Jey Uso.

Yeah. They did us so dirty after that stupid draft. Like... it magically doesn't apply to anyone but Sami and Jey for some reason? / Sami and The Bloodline for some reason? Other than that we see pretty much everyone cross brands and interact cross-brand all the time.

And like... I get that NoC was supposed to be the end for the Sami/Roman arc, but why does that have to mean it's the end for the Sami/Jey, Sami/Solo, Sami/Jimmy arc as well? There's so much more to tell there and it is there now.

I'm still being delulu and hoping that they'll let Sami and Jey interact and support each other again after Jey's return, but honestly? I said before, I'm not holding my breath. I've been watching WWE too long to have high hopes.

They're trying to build TJD on Raw into what The Bloodline is on Smackdown (not that it'll work), so keeping these two apart kinda makes sense (except for the fact that TJD keeps showing up on SD anyway, but who am I to question their logic, huh? 🤐)

Anyway, I'm all for the current Bloodline/Jey/Jimmy story arc, it's awesome and I'm excited for what happens once Jey gets back, but I'll also never stop being on my "get Sami's ass back on Smackdown" agenda, cause we need him there and Jey and him need each other.

I'm sorry in advance if I go off topic at some point in my reply & I hope you don't mind me using this as a way to let everyone asking - including the unkind people talking trash in my inbox (I see you, I just choose to not interact with you) - know:

Yes, I still very much like Jey. I still like all of them. Sami, Jey, Jimmy, Kevin, Solo, Roman, Paul and so on - everyone. But especially Jey & Sami as individuals and/or together.

Jey's story, well - I like that they're going for a redemption arc with him. I like that he's allowed to be a star and shine bright far away from the rest of his family. At least for a while. I like that he's not automatically everyone's best friend just because he turned babyface. I like that they're including Kevin and Sami and even Drew and others he has history with in his story. I don't even mind Cody being there (which is huge - cause y'all know my opinion on Cody). I think that speaks for how much I like and support Jey's single's run.

The only thing I really don't enjoy is the whole TJD being involved thing and Jey losing twice in a row. Jey is the biggest babyface and TJD is the biggest heel faction on Raw currently, so of course it's probably good for business if Jey appears on screen with them. Doesn't mean I have to like it.

I like every single individual member of TJD, i really really do, I'm just extremely tired of them as a group and have been for a while now. I was a fan for a while, but they got extremely stale to me. And before anyone argues, it's not the same as it was with The Bloodline, cause there's two very obvious things that TJD doesn't have, and it's the two things that kept (and are keeping) the Bloodline afloat and working well for so long: (1) Deep, meaningful, layered characters & (2) an intriguing story to tell. (Istg if I never have to see a 6-man-tag match involving TJD again it'll still be too soon.)

I'm tired of the people in charge just constantly feeding the top talent to them, doesn't matter if it's Seth or Kevin or Sami or Jey or anyone else. I get that they're heels, they're not supposed to play clean and fair all the time and you're supposed to dislike them and their actions, sure. But there's a difference between disliking someone's actions and being downright tired and annoyed to the point where you switch off the TV mid-segment. If you're a TJD fan I'm happy for y'all, I truly am. But I'm tired.

I've been keeping up with all my boys and girls, but with TJD being pretty much around and dominant and constantly involved in all 3 shows, I haven't been extremely enthusiastic about it lately.

Sorry, this turned into a bit of a rant.

The point is: I love Jey, I'll always love Jey, I'll always keep up with his storylines and everything, I just need a minute or two to catch a breather, cause lately I find myself not enjoying the parts I want to be enjoying, so I hope a little distance and casually keeping up with everything will get me to the point where I can be happily and fully invested again.

That being said, I'm still here, I'm still reading and replying to messages most of the time and just generally enjoying life and good things and writing and all that rn, but if you don't see me as active and around all that much, don't be surprised and also don't think for a second that I stopped liking or supporting my boys and girls. <3

Thoughts on Smackdown?

Hi lovely anon! Thanks for asking & being interested in my opinion ❤️

Short answer: Overall I think it was a solid episode. Personally I liked it a lot better than RAW. (I wish Sami was still on Smackdown, cause that’s his home and where he belongs. *sigh*)

Long answer: I'll start off with Jey obviously, who had the best segment of the night by a landslide, duh. I'll get to the rest of the show after that. But just... JEY FUCKING USO DAMN.

First of all: Joshua your acting & promo skills are 🔥🔥🔥 The Usos both have always been incredible at this, but Jey is a beast on the mic these days, holy crap. Playing with and utilizing those damn ‘what’ chants and make it feel organic?

That man has any crowd in any place in the palm of his hand at any given moment. That and his facial expressions throughout that segment? The doubt, the guilt, the fear, the frustration, the utter horror? Throw all the awards at that man please! 

And oh god Solo speaking to say that. He speaks so little that every time he does it hits even harder. The floodgates were wide open, I was crying for most of that segment, I’m not gonna lie.

I love Paul Heyman and I love his promos and that paired with Jey’s acting and Solo’s words. THAT HURT. (I loved every second of it.) I know it was probably supposed to be a "filler segment“ until Roman returns next week, but that whole segment was pure fire and it proved once again that Jey IS the show. He’s so over, he’s so damn good and he deserves that main-event spot and a singles title run the most out of anyone on that roster. He's worked (and keeps working) his ass off week in week out for this on the highest level for years now and he deserves it all. The Bloodline Storyline and everyone involved are a beautiful gift that keeps on giving and Jey being the star of it makes me the happiest.

I’m not having any illusions about Jey actually winning at Summerslam, BUT they are still SO good at making us believe that he actually can. I can’t wait for more and I can’t wait to see where they take things with Roman and Jey this time around. Next week can't come soon enough.

(P.S. Jey having Jimmy’s hat with him was a really nice little heartbreaking detail.)

As for the rest of the show:

If things are really leading up to Bianca vs. Charlotte vs. Asuka at Summerslam, that’s gonna be a banger for sure. Even though I think Asuka deserves better in that feud. She’s the champ, yet it feels like she’s taking a backseat a lot of the time, with way more spotlight on Bianca vs. Charlotte. Don’t get me wrong, I love to see Bianca vs. Charlotte, but like… Asuka deserves a banger title run and a banger feud with them. That chaotic ending to the show was a good start though. (+ I’m still kinda hoping for a Bianca heel turn at some point.)

The Tag-Match was awesome, I love the Brutes and Pretty Deadly is slowly growing on me too, I think they put on a great match! I wish they’d keep Pretty Deadly far away from Theory though. They don’t need him.

I was gonna joke about how Shotzi and I are twinning with our haircuts, cause we are, but I found out that she decided to do it in support of her sister who was diagnosed with liver cancer and that’s obviously so much bigger than anything and I have nothing but huge respect for her. I hope her sister will be okay and hope they’ll finally give Shotzi the proper spotlight she deserves, cause she has loads of potential.

I don’t like or care for Grayson Waller or Austin Theory, so I’m not gonna speak much about them, other than saying that Theory needs to drop that title and get off my dang TV (bonus if LA Knight is the one taking it off of him YEAH)

Bayley vs. Zelina was too short, I could’ve watched a longer match between these two for sure, but it’s nice to see that the women’s division gets some well-deserved spotlight. I still think they might make Bayley cost Iyo that Cash-in and while I really want Iyo to have a successful cash-in and championship run, I’d really love to see a Bayley/Iyo feud too. We’ll have to wait and see.

Street Profits aligning themselves with Bobby Lashley could be very interesting, especially if it gets them more screen time. I love them and want to see loads more of them! 

If I forgot anything, well... but I figured I talked more than enough at this point 😂
