Day 4: Books with demons I freely admit I'm stretching the definition of 'demon' here, but you know what? Kate Forsyth's The Wild Girl is a book that deserves to be featured. Everyone (quite rightly) adores Bitter Greens (a retelling of Rapunzel), but the story of Dortchen Wild is too wonderful (and heartbreaking) to ignore. If you've got an interest in the Brothers Grimm, or even just fairytales, definitely read this - Kate Forsyth puts in a lot of research to her novels (I had the absolutely fantastic luck to be in a class where she gave a guest lecture last year), and it really does show. (I'll stop fangirling now) Day 4: Favourite bookmark On a different (and much nicer) note, I won this bookmark from @read3rz_revu earlier this year, and it's been serving me excellently.
