One of which was Pyrrha, who he chose in a heartbeat. ... They had both started down on their path. They had talked very little at the very beginning of the trek, but Damon had silently agreed to check the map, while Pyrrha looked after them. As usual, the archer had happily assumed the sidekick role. He double, triple checked the scroll's navigator, something he was lent in place of his ratty old paper map. It had already set their path up clear as day, which took the fun out of map planning, Damon thought. Can't keep things quiet forver. The next turn was well ahead, might as well start with the important stuff. "I guess we should think of a game plan, in case we get attacked." He lowered the scroll to face Pyrrha.
