This is part of a series of polls I wanted to make. These are bands that are mainly punk, but some do crossover (e.g. fishbone) and because this genre has so many smaller bands running through it, I couldn't possibly add all of them.

I also just wanted to make this so I could get probably some suggestions on BLACK musicians that made/make rock music. It's not a contest, I just want to see which musicians some people like and for this to be a way for people to discover them.

Finally cleaned out my LA Storage after 5 years and just overwhelmed with the nostalgia. Old Polaroids, Flyers, articles, buttons, etc. It’s almost too much st once. This show was 11 years ago? #theobjex Wow. One of #lasvegas best bands hands down. Especially this line up. And one year since @alethia_prudence ❤️🙏🏼🍻our dear Aly left this earth in the flesh. I don’t want to say the truth of what and whatever. She just poofed into the ether like so many other people that left this realm the last 5 years since I moved away. It’s surreal coming back to 5 people that are not here anymore that were very close. And not to have been able to properly process it? Man it’s the heavy part of coming back. I miss my dear freestyle spinning, catwalk battling Sebastian/Aurajin. Eric Caiden and Ted V. MIkels are real hard ones. Those two were really close . And Michael Gainey too. I lived next to him for 10 years. Josh Jose a coworker, dance partner and super cool interesting creative dude. And I’m sorry if I’m missing anyone else. But, Aly I miss and love you mama. All of you. We all had a very special time in our lives we shared. So hers hits the worst. If any of you have a suicidal thought? Please call me anytime I mean that. I do. The Objex need help! Alternative pop/punk band from Las Vegas, Nevada are taking this genre's scene by storm. Regularly performing and building a fan base, they work extremely hard. Fan's are awaiting the highly anticipated EP "Super Charged Little Nova" being released this month, BUT the band need help funding the release.

Recording and album production has already been funded, but the band need YOUR help with the following:

@felonymelony was a big fan of #thePullouts and was always front and center dancing and just vibing her unique energy all over the place and I thrived on that live energy!! She of course is now fabulously famous but not as much as she damn should be! Her band #theobjex are incredible and where I first met our dearly departed @alethia_prudence and so many others from the #lasvegaspunkscene . I interviewed her years ago and still choke up when I think of how she (and a lot of other girls) started their own bands because of a few other girls who took a chance and had the most incredible support of these amazing friends we all can say are our #vegasfamilyforever
