I’m Laksana Samudera, though everyone calls me “Samu”, or worse, “Sule”. My mother chose a wonderful name for me, one that I’m endlessly grateful for. She explained that my name means be like the ocean—captivating to behold, influential to those around, and comforting to others.

I came into the world on September 2nd, 2002, during sunrise in Berlin. This was when my father was working as a diplomat in the city. I spent my early years, roughly until I turned 5 there. So, if you ask anything about Germany, I won’t be able to comprehend any of it. Sorry. I forgot everything.

Oh, have you seen me posting pictures of hedgehog? That was my pet named Obi. My parents gave him to me as my 18th birthday gift. Obi was a boy. He took up a quarter of my bedroom space, and I proudly consider myself his dad. Obi had passed away on August 17th due to bad health. I cried all night.

As for hobbies, I’m a nature enthusiast. I cultivate plants at home with my mom, such as onions, rosemary, and many more. Alongside this, I enjoy playing guitar and listening to music too, (my all time favorites are The Beatles and MLTR) even though my skills are rusty due to college.

I’m currently in my fifth semester, pursuing a library science major. I’m not entirely sure how I ended up in this major, but I’m enjoying it, except for the fact that I’m not a big fan of books.

While in college, I worked part time as a delivery boy at a burger restaurant. I like my job because I can go around exploring cities and neighborhoods that were previously unfamiliar to me. Witnessing the excitement on customers's faces upon receiving their meals brought me great joy.
