Age 34

We all remember, but try to forget, the swath of terrible emo bands from the naughties. But what happens to the members of a c list group that had one album, had one tour supporting an actual successful (even more emo!) band, and then disappeared? They move to Australia, get a mediocre design job and have sex with me apparently.

Of course I didn’t figure all of this out until me and reverse google image search got stalky after he left. During dinner he had merely very sheepishly explained his hearing was ruined from being in a shitty pop punk band back in England and refused to tell me their name. I kept bugging him through the night and he kept avoiding the subject. After watching one music video I could certainly see why. And “pop punk” was generous, these gents definitely wrote bad poetry and probably cut themselves.

Now all this shit talking doesn’t change the fact that purple haired, dog collar wearing, journal writing teenaged me would have been down with their album. Not to mention that I was a sucker for the terrible swoopy hair cuts and ear plugs too. Well apparently 15 year old me is alive and well because this boy really did it for me. His man fringe has been downgraded somewhat and his ear plugs weren’t too big, but fuck did I want to get this guy naked immediately. Who knew I still had such filthy emo needs? If he had tattoos and a facial piercing he would have been perfect. Regardless he made me hungry in a very primal and unladylike fashion and yet also made me nervous. Good thing I arranged a date while I was drunk and then showed up wasted.

He was warned ahead of time whilst we were trading banter via the dating app of the day that I had been (and still was) at a pool party all afternoon and was on bottle of Rose’ #2. He very patiently and far too soberly sat across from me at dinner and let me ramble on and happily had cocktails at a few bars before I suggested heading back to mine. Even then we talked for waaaay too long. Was he being cute and funny and maybe considerate since I was still a lot drunker than him? Maybe. I’d let him park at my flat and had been less than subtle in our chat so I wasn’t expecting much playing coy. I was definitely relieved when he finally jumped me. 

I’m guessing for their brief time in the sun this guitarist managed to enjoy the company of a fair chunk of ladies. He certainly fucked like a slut and it was delightful. He also looked fantastic naked. He’s taken to surfing since moving over and it showed. At one point he had his arms above his head all flexed as he was hanging on to my head board while I was on top and I got very distracted. And you know whats great about absurd scenester hair? you can really curl your fingers in it during a proper fucking. He also pulled the old wake up in the early hours of the morning to fuck me again which is maybe my favourite sex ever, so extra points. I rolled over around 11am and asked if he needed to be fed before I had him fuck me again. He did not. Right to it. Fantastic. I’m an impatient woman for a good deep dicking, what can I say? This also seemed like a good time to ask if he would tell me his band’s name now? Nope.

Also I apparently quite enjoyed myself as my neighbour (whose guest room is next to my wall, then a bathroom, then her bedroom) made a very polite noise complaint. Still embarrassed about that. Might avoid the hallway in between our flats for a bit.

I nearly was a icicle because I wore the wrong pair of 🧦. I also was distracted by the beautiful doggy’s the farmer own. One is name boomer and would bark at me and nudge my leg if I didn’t throw him a branch and the other wanted me to continuously pet him on the head while I was trying to capture this photo !
