It’s true that many people DON’T have their access to information limited UNTIL they join a high control group.

It’s true that sometimes having been exposed to other things before joining such a group builds resistance. Part of why someone eventually leaves might well be because the6 remember hearing stuff that contradicts the cult beliefs and those memories won’t stop niggling at them.

But it is a fundamental and basic fact of how high control groups work that they limit access to information. If they succeed in convincing someone not to pursue certain research as tainted and damaging, yes, the person will be ignorant of those things.

I think Chilli Tid part 2 MIGHT have some changes considering the changes on Bill and Rose’s dynamic. The6 are not just a bad end of a deal. But, they were a thing. And Greg was there too, so, Bill was twice as mad.
