((CW: Depictions of a death, blood, and gore :3 Darling could smell the rot in the air; pulses of angry magic and something much more visceral wafted throughout the school of Ever After High. She tugged her eye defenders she borrowed from the Chemythstry lab closer to her face, pulling on the strings to tighten the goggles. A low growl caught the knight's attention, causing the girl to peer into one of the many hallways that EAH had to offer. Ramona was hunched over the body of a teenage girl, purple fumes surrounding the two. Darling noticed the red hood.
Ramona turned to sniff the air, and from where Darling was standing, the wolf's face had been split open by glass. Stained blood marked Ramona's face, though equally fresh, crimson blood dripped from his hands. It smelt awful.
Why aren’t you moving?
Ramona prodded Cerise’s leg, hearing the limp thud of it hitting the floor.
Fine, don’t answer me. He huffed.
Ramona sat in the middle of the hallway, hands covered in a substance undetectable to the half-wolf; sticky and crimson red. They tried nudging Cerise again, but there wasn’t even a pulse.
Wait until I tell mom you’re acting like a possum.
She wiped her cheek, the same blood that was on her hands rubbing onto her face — smearing — adding on to the dried blood that was already caked on in patches, starting from her eyes to their chin. Ramona’s face felt itchy and she growled, hating the lack of vision available to him. “Cerise.” She croaked out in a voice not her own, one that sounded hoarse and irritated. He was salivating, drool hitting the floor in uncontrollable pools.
The half-wolf heard a pop, and the smell in the air shifted; putrid. She crinkled her nose, detesting the smell. Ramona moved to kneel, her tail grazing against the floor, raking her hands up Cerise’s body until she found their face. It was split open, shards of glass wedged in between squishy cracks and tissue. Below her face, it looked like someone had tried to tear out her neck. Like a wild animal attack.
“Cerise?” Ramona said once more, pulling her hands back. She licked her lips, tasting the flavor of iron and his own saliva.
“Cerise?”
There was no answer, not even a pulse.
Darling wanted to gag, watching Ramona stand up and kick the leg of their sister, as if seeing if she were alive. Based on Darling's knowledge, Ramona couldn't see, she must've been infected for a while now. Her eyes drifted to Cerise and—
Her eyes widened. Cerise's face was unrecognizable, having been mangled as it exploded to release the spores of glass. Darling left the hallway, only remembering the way Apple looked. Not wanting to think about what Ramona had to do to cause the Virus to self destruct and reproduce.

File: The Crazies
SCP: AGL
Code Name: The Trixie Virus/ The Psychopath Plague
Object Class: Safe
Special Containment Procedures: Samples of SCP-AGL are contained at Site-AO for regular testing purposes. They are separated into 8 vials kept within a biohazard box placed within a freezer at the Level 2 area of the on-site Biohazard labs. Any testing must be approved by at least one Level 3 Clearance Foundation staff member. Testing using the Site-AO city simulation testing area must be approved by the Site Director.
Any containment breach involving SCP-AGL is to always be assumed caused by a third party as SCP-AGL is not infectious like normal viruses. The scenario where the breach is caused by an infiltrator, or a traitor is to be found and either regulated to D Class or executed. There are no exceptions.
Description: SCP-AGL is a Weaponized Viral Anomaly, or a WVA for short, created by Group of Interest: PENTAGRAM. The virus is meant to infect by exposure only; blood on blood infection, bites and scratches, and other common viral spreading methods do not work with SCP-AGL. The virus was specifically created to be exposed into a water supply of a local area. This was done so SCP-AGL will never spiral out of control, it will however kill off all that are infected while ensuring the death of those that weren't infected.
SCP-AGL is extremely volatile however its danger does not relay in mutating its victims into monsters like normal anomalous pathogens but instead altering their minds. SCP-AGL infection devours the chemicals of the brain little by little removing common sense and reasoning skills in the mind. Soon the brain is no longer able to handle even the smallest of emotions making the host extremely aggressive, paranoid, and delusional. They will start to indulge into their own delusions and begin to do nonsensical and often violent acts without restriction or reasoning.
It is possible for an SCP-AGL host to simply do ridiculous things or live in a time loop in their own head until they eventually die of the infection. However more often than not, SCP-AGL infection leads to its hosts becoming psychotic killers. They will be completely insane often doing anything relating to their daily routine or saying things they normally do at random while also killing anyone who they encounter that is not infected. SCP-AGL's do kill each other but they normally spare one another when they knew each other as friends or family before infection. Though as stated before SCP-AGL do not only become delusional but also extremely emotional so any minor grudges they had will explode into full on blood thirsty revenge. Furthermore, they will become extremely territorial with areas they are familiar with often hiding and seeing anyone who gets even remotely close as a threat. They will set traps and brutally kill such people even if they knew them prior to infection.
As stated, before SCP-AGL was created to be controlled, as such not only is drinking contaminated water or direct injection the only methods of infection, but the incubation period is lowered as well. SCP-AGL has an incubation period of 48 hours afterwards infection will be irreversible, or the person will completely safe. It's unknown how long a person can survive under SCP-AGL infection as most have not been able to survive for more than 4 days without getting killed, killing each other, or accidently killing themselves. Though after the 3rd day of infection there is visible deterioration in their bodies internally as black veins become visible all over the skin, they become deathly pale as well, and their eyes start to become yellowish and red due to accelerated hunger, dehydration, and swelling of the brain.
SCP-AGL was discovered in 2010 when a PENTAGRAM plane accidently crashed into the local river of the small town of [data expunged], Iowa. The plane was supposed to go to a PENTAGRAM base in Texas to be incinerated as it was deemed too dangerous to be in use anymore. With the river contaminated the town was placed under watch by PENTAGRAM. Once the second day of infection was confirmed PENTAGRAM mobilized their quarantine forces and reinforced themselves with the U.S. military.
Unfortunately, even with their accelerated quarantine protocols in place, a containment breach still happened leading to a complete collapse of PENTAGRAM control. The Global Occult Coalition then took control and ordered an immediate sweeping and execution of all remaining survivors regardless of infection or not. Foundation agents infiltrated the area to collect samples before the entire area was destroyed without allowing either organization to know. They were disguised as U.S. government agents and given specialized amnestics to prevent PENTAGRAM or the Global Occult Coalition form tracing it back to the Foundation.
Though half of the agents died in their missions the other half were able to gather SCP-AGL samples from the water supply and blood samples form dead hosts. Afterwards the GOC sent a warhead into the town incinerating the entire area, the cover story later given was an incorrect management of the town's gas causing multiple gas leaks and the inevitable destruction of the entire city. Survivors that escaped the area were found by the GOC and were executed as a precaution.
Because of SCP-AGL is a WVA meant for controlled chaos and the destruction of isolated areas meant great testing potential within Site-AO's simulated cities. As such, it is regularly used to see if SCP-AGL can be used for Project [data expunged].
