Hey, first of all, you're an absolute gift for single handedly fighting the fanfic drought in the villainess reverses the hourglass fandom. I read all your fics about it and I'm not even a Lohan fan lol. I was hoping to request Karin (platonically) with a reader who's her stepdaughter like mielle but they actually have a good relationship. Before Karin's wedding, her and reader have a conversation and reader tells Karin that when she thinks of a mother, she thinks of her and it's a cute found family moment. And it's my first time requesting so if it's too vague or too detailed or anything please lmk!

Mum's bonus princess

Carin would be running around usually, doing something with Aria or something. But right now, she was being fitted for her wedding dress, so she was busy to do anything. Admiring the way the lace was being fitted, Carin wouldn't mind saying she was highly privileged to somehow get here and give her darling daughter Aria this sort of life.

But her mind did stray to her current husband's three children he had with his previous wife; Cain, the eldest son, Mielle, the daughter who was sort of stand-offish to her but still civil and bubbly, and finally you, Y/N..Possibly the favourite of your entire family, adored by your brother, Mielle, maids and your father.

She hoped you wouldn't be offended by Aria and her coming to your house. She knew the ideas of nobles had about commoners, especially ones like her who seemed prettier than most; you're either heavily blessed by gods and somehow luckier in life, or you're unluckier than most..

For someone like her, who has a child, it was the latter for her. Most people would simply blame her for being involved with a man, as if she was a seductress with her figure and beauty.

But Carin worked hard to give her daughter the life she wanted, and she hoped she could enjoy this life and her stepchildren would be civil with her.

Finally being done, Carin was walking out to the garden when she saw you giggling gently in Mielle's arms at the table with your father and brother, Mielle softly blowing raspberries on your cheek as you giggled, your hands dug into her straight and soft blonde hair and her fluffy collar-ed dress, while Aria watched from aside, as your eyes glanced at Carin before they were again brought back by Mielle on her face.

She immediately felt saddened, hoping maybe this situation might fix as she walked to Aria, patting her back, who kept watching Mielle play with you on her lap and in her arms.

"Why don't you play with them?" Carin gently asked, as you let out a particularly loud laugh as Mielle giggled, holding you close to her, as Aria looked down, "..Mielle doesn't want me near Y/N.." she said huffing as Carin sighed, her eyes falling on her husband.

Her husband looked at her, as she motioned with her eyes to make his children include her girl to as he shrugged, "Mielle, why don't you and Aria talk? You're two the same age and who knows you might find something in common?", he said as Miellee turne to Aria, resisting the urge to roll her eyes as your brother took you in his arms as you giggled, patting Cain's face, as you turned to your father with a giggle and the new mum.

Mielle moved beside to sit with Aria, of-course very standoff-ish and unapproachable but Carin motioned for Aria to try to make conversation and they got a bit dry conversation going which did make Carin smile as she sat down at the table, her eyes turning to you giggling and playing in your brother's lap as your brother and father watched you lovingly.

She got to know everyone, except you, but it was simple to say Carin was nervous. You were the literal baby of the family and possibly everything ran around your finger, she did not even get to talk to in public like this due to her own nervousness.

If you did not like her, you could end this entire marriage within seconds, so hopefully she begged that Mielle wasn't feeding you ideas that she was trying to replace your mum.

Of-course you slid out of your father's lap and waddled back to Mielle, you adored her more than anything, being so young..you had Mielle around your fingers too, Mielle only smiled, picking you up and placing you on her lap as she continued to converse with Aria about fashion trends going on in social circles.

"And baroness Herovi-"Hovii" you copied Mielle as she giggled, "Oh? You want to join elder girls now, do you?" she gently kissed your cheek as you squealed in happiness, pulling gently on her hair as Emma smiled, gently patting your back as you kissed Mielle's cheek, making her smile, Aria stood aside, smiling a bit outcasted, but happy at your cuteness as well.

"Ri'.." you softly giggled, turning to Aria and catching her eyes, her hair was wavy, bouncy, not like Mielle's and you wanted to touch it as Emma held you back, making you pout and whine to remove your grip and touch Aria's hair.

but Emma kept a tight hold, she'd rather die than let her late lady' darling child interact with a commoner..

But seeing your distress, Mielle sighed, you were stubborn, no idea who you got it from, and she loved you..she promised herself and her mother to support you in whatever you wanted and supposedly, right not, you wanted to touch Aria's hair, so she swatted and removed Emma's hand from your tin, chubby wrist,

"Let them be, Emma" Mielle said, almost upset as Emma surprisingly stepped back as Aria gently waved to you as you reached out to her, Mielle didn't want to hand you over.

She loved keeping you on her lap, but as she turned, she saw her father motioning for her to let you bond with your stepsister..So she sighed,

"Keep your hands steady on my sibling, better not drop them"

Mielle hissed to Aria, who nodded nervously and held out her hands as you giggle and stayed in her arms, almost her size since Aria was such a small girl, despite being Mielle's age.

You gently dug your hand into Aria's hair and giggle, holding it up as if to show it to Mielle, who had arms crossed but nodded with a smile, "Yes..her hair is blonde, like mine" she smiled, gently rubbing your back while you were in Aria's arms.

Carin smiled, atleast Ari was being included, that's all that mattered to her. You spent a while in Aria's arms, babbling about everything and anything, which made no sense.

You were talkative, Carin and Aria learned.. After a while, Mielle again took you back into her arms, since that was more than enough for Aria's first time with you, as you giggle, holding onto Mielle's lacy collar as she gave you biscuits and broke them smaller for you to grab easily and not choke,

"Chew gently, okay?" she said, lovingly as she gave you a piece in your tiny fist.

The day spent, hour and Mielle, Aria and Cian had to leave for some lessons, leaving you giggling on you father's lap, as Carin watched with a smile,

as you gently turned to her, finally spotting her in awhile. You thought she was a bit scary, like evil stepmum from Cinderella but she got your gifts sometimes and Mielle liked her, so you were scared..but accepting her, somewhat.

You kept eyeing her, looking at her. She was so pretty, but was she nice?? Like Mielle or Cain or your father? Will she make you work in rags for Aria???

You couldn't tell, but you unconsciously reached to her, making your father and Carin freeze up in slight surprise before your father motioned Carin to take you, a bit upset she was leaving you waiting.

Carin immediately took you closer, holding you on her lap like she used to for Aria, your hands fiddling with her fan as you held onto the purple lace of her dress, while Carin smiled,

"So..Are you ready for your new mum yet?" your father asked as you turned to him and your cheeks formed a pout,

"No! I won't wash dishes in rag clothes!", "...What?"

you huffed, turning your head and flopping backwards causing Carin to hold you, why do children act like jelly when annoyed?!

"...Sweetheart, again..What did you say?" your father asked as Carin sat there, exasperated, already catching up to what you meant, "I won't be washing dishes and clothes in rag clothes with evil stepmum like Cinderella!" you huffed, crossing your arms.

Your father almost laugh but only chuckled and gently rubbed your back,

"no, it's okay. Your new mum will not make you work in rag clothes. She's just a new mum",

"like shopping bags?", "No-", "like dolls?!" you asked excitedly.

That made Carin hide her face behind her fan while your father awkwardly apologized to Carin, who brushed it off with a 'it's okay'.

"No, a mum", "muma?" you asked turning to Carin who gently pulled her fan down and nodded, "yes. I'll be a new mum and I won't be evil, promise" she assured you, making you uncross your arms and tilt your head.

"So...No cinders for me? No Cindered.....no CinderY/N?" you asked curiously making her smile and shake her head, "you don't have to be covered in cinders." she assured, as you giggled,

"Okay..New mum is amazing!!" you said excitedly, "Alright, time to sleep" your father said as Carin hugged you one last time because you wanted it and ran off to your father where your father took you away to put to bed.

Atleast Carin wasn't dying to call you CinderY/N or make you clean in rags..Mielle wouldn't ever allow it, but a bonus princess was nice. Especially if she was like you, preferably you.

Something a little funny I noticed.

Both these stories are absolute contrasts between eachother. There's a reason why whenever there's talk of a Rashta regression au, Aria is almost always mentioned.

1st life Aria feels so identical to Rashta as a character, with the only big difference being that Aria is a poor girl who joins a noble family after her mom marries into it and Rashta was a slave turned concubine.

Rashta was often made fun of both in comic and in comments for wearing flashy dresses with a lot of bows and jewlery. In most of her more casual outfits later on, she still wears multiple rings.

The same can be said for Aria who was also judged for going all out both with dresses and even events. There are less examples shown on panel but she does mention how much she realized how awful her tastes used to be.

Both had a loyal maid who they tortured via tongue removal.

Both were the villians in the rich privileged girls story.

Both romance the lover/fiancé of said rich woman

And of course, the similarities of being girls who grew up in poverty being demonized by the noble class for not knowing etiquette.

Mielle is also basically Navier if she had a Rashta level plot induced lobotomy to look weaker. Given that they were born into nobility and were suddenly having to live with some random pauper who showed and is making their life uncomfortable. Mielle is just a caricature version with a superiority complex.

In short: The villainess reverses the hourglass is just remarried empress with reversed roles.

For sake of inclusivity and proper self insertion, you’re an adopted sister. cw: Aria is a bit possessive.

You were brought into the home after your mother died, she was a common prostitute and an old friend of Aria's mother. Your father was a married nobleman so when she died, naturally, he didn't wish to risk the ire of his wife by bringing an illegitimate child into their home so he did not claim you. Although Carin had married into wealth and privilege, your mother had continued having to live the life she escaped. When she met you, you were on the streets wearing rags while she had been out shopping. Carin felt a little guilty over that and decided to ask permission to take you in as her ward.

Aria never knew her mother to be a philanthropist so she was surprised when her mother brought home a random orphan. She did enjoy how much your presence pissed Mielle off, though. Since one of the young ladies of the house shunned you, you turned to the other. She was wary at first and a little bit threatened (though she'd never admit it), but a certain solidarity was reached between you two when she found out unflattering rumors were being spread about you. That you faced the same prejudice for your status that she did. You were Aria’s only friend in the house, the only one who simply liked her without wanting something from her.

The two of you together are a problem, coming up with all sorts of ways to mess with the people who look down on you two. You’re Aria’s greatest partner in crime because you’ve always been seen as meek and well mannered and you can get away with things she can’t. You’re the first person she ever told about her power and her intentions for Count Roscente and his children. You like her even when she's behaving like a brat and although people consider you the milder daughter, you can be as deviously crafty or maybe even more so.

Aria can get jealous of your friends and likes to remind them in that passive aggressive noble way that they’ll never be as close to you as she is. She might even use the hourglass to pull on their hair and step on their dresses if they piss her off enough. Although the two of you are distinct in style, sometimes the two of you will dress in the same colors, wear matching jewelry or do similar hairstyles. Carin will basically act like that scene in Victorious where Jade goes “They’re identical, look at them” then the camera pans to Andre and Beck. Sometimes she’ll be impressed by you doing something crafty or smart then she’ll go, “well, you are my daughter so it’s only natural you’d be talented.”

Count Roscente might consider you a pet/hobby for his ornamental second wife to amuse herself with but she sees you as her daughter as much as Aria sees you as her genuine sister.

Carin is an admittedly permissive parent but just the same as her biological daughter, you’re still her primary concern. Fuck everyone else, it’s you and Aria she’s looking out for. She wants you to avoid struggling like she and your mother had so despite her carefree nature, she does all she can to set you up for an easy future. Luckily for her, Aria had the same sentiments. When she's crown princess, she intended to make sure you lived in the lap of luxury. But not before she destroyed the house of your father who left you to starve on the streets, right along with the Roscente county.

Anime fandom wouldn't handle Aria Roscente. A villainess heroine who doesn't uses her second chance at life to "run away and live a peaceful life", who don't have things pushed to her but actively goes into action and all for the sake of revenge. Planning to bring down the noble family who her mother married into and who ultimately brought them to death.

The otome isekai fandom already try to say that Mielle, her main enemy, would be seen as a heroine if the role were reversed while Mielle planned Aria and her mother's downfall while the mother crime was to have been a prostitute to survive and Aria to be uneducated because of her past. She considers herself to be above them just because she's a noble.

If it ever gets animated, with how even male characters get called red flag for flirting (Itsuomi under the fire right now) now, God know the bullshit we would have to see from Aria's haters

The light glow of sun was hidden by the large, silk curtains as you and your best friend was sitting on their bed as you both did one of your favorite past-times, as you both continued to comment and talk about the recent trends in the society, there was a little knock on the door, as you got up and opened the door, there stood your dear friend’s most trusted servant, but they seemed to be accompanied by someone else behind them, it was a beautiful person with luscious hair and gleaming eyes, and somehow they looked similar to a certain person you know, but you just couldn’t place an idea upon how it could be….As you both invited them in, your friend’s servant informed you both about them being hurt in the palace grounds, and upon mention of your names it asked to stay with you. Now as you, your dear friend, and this person were sitting in their bedroom, in dead silence before……

“Uhm…Weird question, would you mind telling us who you are?” You heard Aria question the young girl, named Rosalie, who looked as she was only 13, the young girl immediately looked down before mumbling something you were able to somehow make out, “You both wouldn’t believe me….”, “Why wouldn’t we believe you, dear?” You asked the little girl who had long luscious blonde hair and big, calm (e/c) eyes…”Because well, I’m your future daughter…” You heard her reply, this is not what you were expecting, as you looked over at Aria, she didn’t seem shocked like you, instead she seemed upset about something, yet she replied with “Hmm, I was actually expecting this; she does look a lot like you and she is quite pretty like you, Y/N…” Aria said, sadness evident in her voice…

As you conversed with the girl, Aria heart kept sinking to the bottom, she realized that you will never choose her, even if she turns back the time again and again, as she looked over to the box where she kept her hourglass, she hoped to turn back the time where the girl never told you both she was your daughter, but Aria would still remember the painful detail of you having a destined lover who is not her.

Upon noticing the look on her face you also felt your heart breaking, you loved her dearly and you were also upset learning about your daughter, but what could you do? As you turned back to your daughter you inspected her closely trying to see if your lover was somebody you knew, you noticed her hair was long and wavy and she had sharper features .as you leaned closer to your daughter and tucked a strand of her hair behind her ear while she talked, you saw a barely noticeable mole on her ear lobe, as you quickly whipped your head towards Aria, shocking both Rosalie and Aria at your action as you immediately stood up, holding your daughter’s hand before you sat her down near Aria and compared their features, leaning dangerously close to Aria’s face, making her flustered and flush into an adorable shade of pink.

Before, she could process anything, you put your palm and hid Rosalie’s eyes before kissing Aria right on her lips, catching both of them off-guard, as you pushed Rosalie’s face away and pointed towards the door indicating you wanted her out, she immediately got the hint covering you both from her view and running out the door, while you put both your arms on Aria’s waist and pulled her on your lap, while Aria was still frozen, not knowing how to act, as she slowly calmed down and kissed you back. You both continued to kiss, only pulling apart for millisecond intervals to let yourselves breathe before kissing again. Finally pulling apart for real, there was a string of drool connecting your mouths, as you gripped her chin to tilt her chin up to look at her face, all flushed pink with drool on her lips along with a love-sick look in her eyes. Aria felt immense embarrassment and again turned her eyes down before trying to shift off your lap, but your grip on her waist tightened and again brought her back to her previous position, as you called Rosalie in. 

While you conversed with Rosalie, along with Aria in your lap who was hiding her face by burying it in your neck, you confirmed with Rosalie that Aria was truly her mother and your wife in the future. As you three talked throughout the day getting to know each-other, you learnt that Rosalie was born a weak child and so you and Aria were quite protective of her, you both were very worried about her travelling back to the past, but later on agreed to let her do so, but she had to return by evening, so upon the time for Rosalie to leave, you were pretty sure Aria was crying a few tears as you reminded her that you will surely be seeing her again in the future….~

“uhm…I know this is hard to believe and I ask of you to not freak out but I’m actually your child…” the young girl said, while closing her eyes and gripping her skirt tightly, while one hand is extended to show you a tiny bracelet given to you by your mother and you had never showed it to anyone. As you comprehended what the child had said and showed, you immediately stood up and sat down near her, and hugged her tightly, leaving Mielle shocked and to her own senses, as she comprehended what the girl said, this girl was your daughter?!

As Mielle looked at the girl’s features, she saw they were very similar to Aria’s, and her eyes were also green just like her’s and Aria’s, did-did you reject her and marry Aria in the future?....

‘No, it can’t be right, Aria knew I liked them and she still did this in the future? But why?.... We both are on good terms with each-other, though we don’t see each-other often, since she found her real father…..Can it be the reason for her betrayal……” Mielle kept thinking how Aria betrayed her, but there was still hope for her to still be friends with you, right? As she looked at you and your daughter, Rialiara, talk with each-other on what the future looks for you and your family, as she Mielle continued to cry on the inside with her dear sister taking her love away.

As you and Rialiara continued to talk about the future, you felt Mielle scoot closer to you and whisper in your ear "Hey..Can we talk..?" In a voice, which was laced with sadness. Of-course, you agreed, though before you asked Rialiara to go out, Mielle stood up and sat near her before stroking her hair and asking her, "Ria, dear..If it's okay, who's your mother?" Mielle asked, definitely upset about the outcome being her sister.

"Oh! Yeah, sorry I didn't tell you both, but I honestly though you both are dating mom!" Rialiara bursted out, all smiling and beaming at you both, making Mielle immediately whip her head towards you and your daughter again and again, until she saw that your daughter's eyes weren't having a yellow tint Aria and her father had, but more of a blue tint, she had. Her hair was more straight than Aria and though they were the same colour as your hair, there was no denying it now that this girl was your and Mielle's daughter!

Mielle's eyes, which were holding back tears, now started flooding up with tears, as you and both of your mini version looked at her with worry seeing her tear up as you both put one of your hands on each one of the shoulders and scooted closer to her, as she looked at you both and smiled before engulfing you both in a tight hug. As you and your child hugged her back, Mielle realized that this is what her future is going to feel like...

"Uhm....If I'm not wrong, you're from the future....Right?" Asher suddenly asked the young, pre-teen boy, breaking the silence. The boy seemed shock for a moment before nodding as though he expected this. As you examined the boy more carefully trying to understand who was this person related to, as you get familiar vibes from him..

But you curious, you ask Asher, "How do you know he's from the future?"

"Oh, uhm a friend of mine has this talent for turning time and yeah...I saw him once when we accidentally went to the future.." Asher replied shyly as you nodded your head. "So who are you dear? Star from the beginning, please."

The boy nodded and introduced himself, "Uhm, I'm Elenoir, the prince of this empire, and..." The boy hesitated by looking at your smile, he continued "your son..." The boy blushed a bit before answering. Those words shocked you and Asher as your eyes widened and your mouth gaped a bit as you covered your mouth and tried to hide your surprise....

"WHAT?!" Asher and you both yelled in unison making the boy cover his ears and shy away giggling mischievously. As you both processed this news and as you brain's clogs finally work you both turned to look at each-other. As you moved your head with were met with Asher's face very close to you, your nose nearly touching as you both blushed heavily as you both froze up staring into each-other's eyes...

As you both broke out of your trance the boy was smiling at you both, so you asked him, "Now, my dear.Why are you here??" This sentence changed his mood completely as he looked guilty ..."I can't say these things to my parents, but I hope I can request you..."..He said hesitantly as you both slowly nodded your heads as he took a deep breathe.."I don't want to be the heir of the throne..." The little boy says, making you and Asher confused

"Huh, why??" Asher asked worriedly, panicking on the inside a bit, "Did I put too much pressure on you??" "Were you attacked?" "Do you hate being a royalty???" Asher and you asked questions after questions worried for the child, the child denied your thoughts as he says, "I'm the elder child, but I have a younger sister, who is younger than me by a few months, I'm the heir to the throne and I'm the one training to be the emperor...but I don't want to take up the responsibility to the throne, rather my sister wishes to be the heir, she says she is ready to take up responsibility of throne as the empress and would like to help her subject, so maybe if it's okay can you make her the heir???" Elenoir asked as he rubbed the back of his neck, seemingly worried and concerned for not only your answers but also because he seemed to care for his sister a lot.

"Of-course, that's completely fine!!" You and Asher say smiling yet non nonchalantly making Elenior perk up in surprise and happiness, "REALLY?! YOU BOTH MEAN IT!??!" You and Asher nodded your head, before you asked,

"Hey, but why are so afraid to ask your parents that you came back in time to us, who aren't in a relationship yet??" you ask making Elenior shy away in thoughts a bit before turning red with embarrassment

"Ah, the thing is you both praise how good of an emperor I would be, I kind of forgot how accepting you both are of me...I should go back, they must be getting worried about me gone and tell them about how I feel, thanks for the talk, younger mom and dad!!" Elenior said opening up a portal before hurriedly jumping through, but not before hugging you btoh tightly and kissing you cheeks, it was a cute moment.

Just before the portal closed, Elenior popped out again and gave you a photo, saying, "I think you'd like to see us, I'm Elenior Franz the eldest son, with my younger siblings, Orien, the middle sister with the angry face, Werin, the cute boy with the white strand in his hair and Reliaou, the youngest boy!! I should leave, bye!!!" Elenior say hurriedly explaining his family and his sibling before running and jumping through the portal again, as it closed completely behind him with a bright light.

With Elenior gone, you both looked at the photo of a more mature and elegant versions of you with Elenior near you, a pretty young girl with very long hair whose face made it look like she was angry, but ti was just her resting bitch face.

"I'm sorry...I'm such a bad friend..." Oscar said wailing before hiccuping from his tears a bit

"I want you to be happy....But.." He took a huge breathe before brushsing his palms across his cheeks "I want you to be happy with me!" He said full on bursting into huge tears as you patted his back, still hugging him tightly as you tried to hide your blush and excitement, you didn't know who your husband was but it's not like it was too late, right??

You slowly pulled away from the tight hug and kissed his eyes and kissed his tears away as you smiled before hugging him and kissing his cheeks and lips,

"I think...You're the nicest person in the history of the universe...I don't care that I'm married to someone else in the future, right now, I want to be with you, you understand?!" You say smiling brightly as Oscar wiped his tears and giggled a bit as he nodded his head as he kissed your lips again, as someone said in a squeky voice,

"Dad, please! YOU CAN DO ALL THAT AFTER I LEAVE, NO??" Quiren said blushing as he covered his eyes with his hands cutely, you and Oscar giggled as you realized you both misunderstood, Quiren wasn't only your child, but he belonged to Oscar as well! You don't understand how you didn't realize those same gold eyes you loves so much on Quiren belonged to Oscar...But nonetheless, looks like you not only have one Oscar Fredrick but two in different fonts in the future!
