Round 1: Match 25
"Two Sides of the Same Coin"- Two things that are regarded as part of the same thing. Even if they're very different, they have at least one common thread that helps them fit into this trope.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Propaganda:
Laios and Kabru:
"They're both so autistic-coded. Like, Laios's special interest is obviously monsters and Kabru's is humans. Kabru overthinks everything about Laios, he always is thinking "Man, there's gotta be some agenda about this guy." Meanwhile, Laios: Head empty, monsters tasty. The way they both react to things ooooo.... listen, they fit this category so well, they're so interesting, trust."
Dawn/The Liberator and Tsuki/The Worldkeeper:
"complete antitheses. always fighting. represent opposite ends of the protagonist's psyche. but both represent part of her all the same. no matter how much they might try to refute it they're both part of the same whole and need to be one despite their refusal to do so"

When you buy or stream Borderlands, Florida Man, Emilia Perez, Yes Day, Point Break, Dr. Death, Jungle Cruise, Hands of Stone, Deliver Us From Evil, The 355, The Liberator, American Crime Story, you're giving money to zionists. Edgar Ramírez is a zionist.

#OTD in 1847 – An ailing Daniel O’Connell makes his final speech to House of Commons pleading for help for a starving Ireland.
‘She is in your hands — in your power. If you do not save her, she cannot save herself. I solemnly call on you to recollect that I predict, with the sincerest conviction, that one-fourth of her population will perish unless you come to her relief.’ Featured Image | The crypt of Daniel O’Connell | Glasnevin Cemetery, Dublin | Andy Sheridan Photography Image | Portrait of Daniel O’Connell | by J.P.…

"It is well, perhaps, the American people should know, that while we reiterate our boasts of liberty in the ears of nations, and send back across the Atlantic our shouts of joy at the triumph of liberty in France, we ourselves are busily engaged in the work of oppression. Yes, let it be known to the citizens of America, that at the very time when the procession which contained the President of the United States and his Cabinet was marching in triumph to the Capitol, to celebrate the victory of the French over their oppressors, another kind of procession was marching another way, and that consisted of colored human beings, handcuffed in pairs, and driven along by what had the appearance of a man on a horse! ...It is but a few weeks since we saw a ship with her cargo of slaves in the port of Norfolk, Va.; on passing up the river, saw another ship off Alexandria, swarming with the victims of human cupidity. Such are the scenes enacting in the heart of the American nation. Oh, patriotism! where is thy indignation? Oh, philanthropy! where is thy grief? Oh, shame, where is thy blush?"
The Liberator, Vol. I No. 1 (January 1, 1831).

No and I mean—NO ONE—was going to tell me about Bradley being a fucking soldier and having an American accent? Really? No one? How rude.

Bradley James via BLOW OUT MAGAZINE
Great read!
About his relationship with Colin: When Colin (Morgan) & I met, we spoke about what we wanted for our characters and the dynamic of the relationship. We had a great time working together and hanging out together, we had aligned senses of humour. It was a bit odd, honestly, we had an almost telepathic understanding at times, which was beneficial on and off set. So, I think that camaraderie, as well as the great performances by the other actors and the discoveries the producers were making along the way, made it exciting for the audience to watch.

If I had a quarter for every time I fell in love with a scifi show about a misfit gang of escaped criminals on a stolen sentient ultra powerful spaceship featuring an evil space empire...I'd have three quarters.
Waiting to collect more.
