Why do we write stories? {Is this in the broader social sense of humanity, or on a personal level?} idk if I want to get into personal reasons, but on a….

[DERAILING THIS BECAUSE GETTING STUCK ON THE THOUGHT. What the fuck pronouns do we use?] {elaborate for the audience} the rest of us are very familiar with this gripe [like, technically the proper pronouns are we/our, but that gets really fucking confusing when We as a system are talking about the royal we as in people and society as a concept] have we found a good example to show yet? [Like {they wrote several examples that don’t quite capture it and deleted them} argggg no we don’t]

Alrighty so how are we (system) supposed to convey to others when we’re trying to talk about we (as in us and a group of friends we’re with) and We (system) for example “we would like the sundae” could be taken as We (the system) want a sundae or that we (us and the group of friend We’re with) want the sundae. {Technically we can use I/me, but sometimes We need to differentiate whether we’re speaking for ourself or the whole system} [it is a legitimate inconvenience that comes up often enough when talking with friends and family that it’s annoying] In text like this we could capitalize We to denote self [like you’ve been forgetting to do lol] but that’s not possible in spoken conversation

[we’ve looked into neo pronouns, but…] {We don’t like making language up, we prefer building off or pre- established language} We’ve been looking to see in anyone’s already using a version of we that stands for the system but no luck [not even as part of a fictional story which is wild] {usually it’s conversations about pronouns for specific alters, but we have yet to see any conversations about making different pronouns to mean We- the system, and we- standard english usage} [it’s MADDENING] if by chance anyone, plural or otherwise, has suggestions or knows of existing pronouns that fit please let us know {so that square brackets doesn't lose their minds}

Rebloging from main [we decided to make a side blog since our main is theoretically supposed to be for visual art] {Tto be for visual art] {theoretically, we haven't had the motivation for a while} [Iheoretically. we haven't had the motivation for a while} [I'm sure we'll get back to it eventually] {we won't be promoting our main blog on here though, I expect this content will be quite different}

Oh! Good topic, how DOES a plurality write that clearly denotes that different people are talking, especially with an ah, {fluid} yeah that, wait, no, would sticky be a better descriptor? [Viscous maybe] {ew no} -ANyways, how a plurality can write as a collective without [as] heavy editing, without using 'we' constantly, AND at such a large number of us, especially since it's hard to differentiate who 'self' is. [Idk if people are going to get what that means] well it's better than "viscous" ew.

{ignoring y'all, many people have suggested fonts, but that's really disruptive to change mid-typing and deciding who is what font and figuring out who is even speaking, a new person, different person or the same, what is their personality-}[and if-i mean especially since we will change mid typed thought] {all of this to say, and demonstrate, that perhaps using brackets to denote a specific 'voice'-} [as in opinion] {-and general vibes is potentially more efficient}.

Is it more clear for the external reader though? [Well, that's the tradeoff isn't it, and why different fonts could make it easier, it'd be potentially possible to go back in post and change the font buuuut] That would be a lot of work on our part and, again, picking who is what font is a Whole Thing [correct!] So that would potentially be the way to go if we're making a more polished piece but not for a shit post {or, I guess post we don't want to/don't have the energy to put a ton of work into} [plus some people would probably appreciate the rawness of it, less, uhhh, more...] More like a messy story draft, or hasty reference doodles for a more polished art piece {I was gonna add something but I forgot, also we not to sleep, out whatever for tags and then get ready for bed o}(r I'll eat y'all's faces figuratively) hi Sean (hi go to bed)
