The first thing you noticed was the cold, hard floor beneath you. The second was the dull, pounding ache at the back of your head. You groaned softly, shifting, only to realize that you couldn’t move your arms. Your wrists were bound behind your back, a rope biting into your skin and around your ankles, too.
Panic flickered through you, sharp and sudden. You blinked, trying to force your vision to adjust to the dim light around you. The metal walls, the familiar scent of rust and old fire—the dropship.
Why the hell were you in the dropship?
A groan beside you made you turn your head, your breath catching as you spotted Jasper slumped against the wall. His head lolled forward, and a thin streak of dried blood trailed down his forehead.
“Jasper,” you hissed, nudging his leg with your foot.
He let out a sharp breath, blinking sluggishly. His eyes flickered open, unfocused at first before they darted around, taking in the metal walls, the ropes, you.“What the hell?” Jasper mumbled, shifting against his restraints. His face twisted in confusion as he tugged at them. “Why am I—”
“Finally,” a voice cut through the air and your blood ran cold.
A slow, mocking clap followed, the sound bouncing off the dropship’s walls. Jasper inhaled sharply, his entire body going rigid beside you.
Murphy.
He stepped into view, his movements slow and deliberate. The rifle hung loosely at his side, his fingers drumming against the barrel. His eyes gleamed with something dark, something unhinged, as he looked down at you both. “About time you two woke up,” Murphy drawled, tilting his head. “Thought maybe I hit you too hard.”
Jasper stiffened. “You knocked us out?”
Murphy grinned. “What can I say? Didn’t think you’d come quietly.”
Your jaw clenched. Anger burned beneath your skin, hot and sharp, pushing back the fear threatening to take hold.
“What’s the matter, Murphy?” you sneered, lifting your chin. “Got tired of playing the victim, so now you’re back to being a psycho?”
Murphy’s grin twitched, his fingers tightening around the rifle. “There it is,” he mused. “That sharp tongue of yours. Always thought you were a little too bold for your own good.” He took a slow step forward, crouching in front of you. His eyes flicked over your face, his smirk widening. “Bet Bellamy just loves that about you.”
Your stomach twisted, but you kept your expression neutral.
Jasper, however, wasn’t as composed. “What the hell do you want?” he demanded, his voice sharp and laced with frustration. His breathing was uneven, chest rising and falling a little too fast — the panic was setting in, even if he was trying to hide it.
Murphy’s smile stretched wider, that twisted, smug grin that always made your skin crawl. His fingers flexed around the rifle at his side, a casual movement that felt far more threatening than if he’d actually raised it. Like he was just waiting for an excuse.
“Revenge,” he said simply, like the word itself should be enough to explain everything.
“Oh, give me a fucking break,” you muttered, your voice thick with sarcasm. “This is about the hanging, isn’t it?”
Murphy’s smile faltered, his expression hardening. His grip on the rifle tightened just enough for his knuckles to go white.
“Jesus, Murphy,” you scoffed, shifting against the rough rope that cut into your wrists. “You tried to kill people. Hell, you killed Charlotte. And now you’re throwing a tantrum because things didn’t go your way?” You let out a dry, humorless laugh. “Yeah, that totally screams ‘victim.’”
“Careful,” Murphy warned, his voice low and sharp like the edge of a knife.
“Or what?” you shot back. “You’ll bore me to death with your sob story?”
His eyes darkened, something ugly flickering behind them. The air in the dropship seemed to shift, suddenly heavier, colder. Murphy took a slow, deliberate step closer, boots scuffing against the metal floor. “You always were a mouthy little bitch,” he muttered, voice curling with contempt.
You didn’t flinch, you refused to. Instead, you met his gaze and gave a cold, humorless smile. “Yeah?” you drawled. “Well, you always were a miserable little prick, so I guess we’re even.”
Murphy’s jaw tightened, a muscle in his cheek ticking. “You really think this is funny?”
“I think it’s pathetic,” you snapped. “You’re pissed because Bellamy didn’t let you die? Seems like your real problem is that you’re still breathing.”
For a second, Murphy’s face twisted with pure rage that sharp, barely-contained violence that always simmered just beneath his skin, but then something cruel flickered across his features. His expression shifted, cold fury melting into something far more calculated.
His lips curled into a smirk.“I bet that’s why Bellamy likes you so much,” he sneered. “He’s got a thing for the feisty ones.”
Your stomach twisted. “Screw you,” you snapped, but there was an edge to your voice now, too sharp and too defensive.
Murphy’s smirk widened, and you knew he’d caught it. “Yeah,” he drawled, stepping closer until he was towering over you. “I’m sure that mouth of yours drives him crazy.” His gaze dragged over you, slow and deliberate, like he was peeling back your defenses layer by layer. “Maybe that’s why he’s always hovering around you.”
Your chest tightened. “Go to hell,” you spat, but the words didn’t feel as steady as before.
Murphy chuckled, low and dark. “Guess we’ll find out, won’t we?”
Jasper’s fingers twitched against the dusty floor of the dropship, eyes flicking toward the old radio lying just inches from his hand. Murphy had left it behind, probably too caught up in his own rage to notice.
Carefully, painfully slow, Jasper stretched his arm out, moving slow enough not to draw attention. His fingers brushed the edge of the radio. Murphy’s back was turned, still pacing and spitting insults your way.
"Go to hell, Murphy." You spat, anger only rising in your frame.
Murphy’s boots scuffed loudly as he stopped in his tracks, turning to face you again. “Careful, he warned, voice low. “You’re not exactly in a position to be running your mouth.”
Jasper’s hand finally closed around the radio. He kept it close to his side, thumb pressing down on the transmit button. His pulse thundered in his ears.
“Or what?” you snapped. “You’ll whine me to death? Cry some more about how no one likes you?”
“You really wanna push me right now?” Murphy shot back, stepping closer.
“You already pissed off half the camp,” you said coldly. “What’s one more person who hates you?”
Murphy’s face twisted with rage, and before you could react, his hand shot out — backhanding you hard across the face. Your head snapped to the side, a sharp sting blooming across your cheek.
“Shut your mouth,” Murphy growled.
The radio crackled softly in Jasper’s hand, still broadcasting everything.
Tumblr media
Bellamy was at the campfire, a rare moment of calm as he stripped a branch for kindling. The sounds of the camp buzzed around him. People chatting, the clang of metal, footsteps crunching on dirt. But none of that mattered when a voice — your voice, crackled suddenly over the radio.
“…already pissed off half the camp. What’s one more person who hates you?”
Bellamy froze, his hands tightening around the branch. His head jerked toward the source of the sound. What the hell?
The sharp crack of skin hitting skin shot through the speaker, followed by a sharp gasp. His heart dropped into his stomach. “Shut your mouth,” Murphy’s voice growled.
Bellamy was on his feet before he could think “Where’s that coming from?” he barked, spinning around.
Octavia bolted from the tent, the radio clutched in her hand. “It’s Jasper’s radio — it’s them. Murphy’s got them.”
Bellamy snatched the radio from Octavia, fingers curling tight around the device as he held it close to his ear. His chest tightened as Murphy’s voice came through again, smug and taunting.
“You think you’re so tough, don’t you?” Murphy sneered. “Bet you’re not feeling so smart now.”
“Oh, go to hell,” you shot back, your voice sharp and unwavering.
Despite the panic clawing at Bellamy’s ribs, he felt a flicker of pride. That’s my girl. You were still running your mouth, still fighting, but that pride was quickly swallowed by something else. Murphy’s not stable, Bellamy thought. She’s pushing him, and he’s just crazy enough to kill her for it.
His fingers tightened around the radio like it was the only thing anchoring him to the earth. His mind raced, anger boiling beneath his skin, fear gnawing at his chest.
“She’s gonna get herself killed,” Octavia muttered behind him.
Bellamy’s jaw clenched so tight it hurt. He knew you. Knew that sharp tongue of yours, that stubborn streak that never let you back down — even when you should. Part of him was proud, hearing you stand your ground like that. But the rest of him? The part that knew Murphy was just unhinged enough to put a bullet in your head for pissing him off? That part was fucking terrified.
“She’s not gonna die,” Bellamy said, more to himself than anyone else. “I won’t let that happen.”
The radio crackled again.
“Look, man,” Jasper’s voice broke through the static, rough and desperate. “You don’t have to do this.”
Murphy’s bitter laugh followed. “Yeah, I really do.”
“No, you don’t,” Jasper pushed. “You got your revenge, right? He's already dead—”
“This isn’t about him,” Murphy snapped. “This is about me. About what’s gonna happen when your fearless leader finds out what I did.”
Bellamy’s fingers tightened around the radio, his heart hammering in his chest.
“What did you do?” you demanded, your voice sharper now.
“Shut up,” Murphy growled, his tone low and dangerous. “You’re just a bonus. You weren’t even supposed to be here.”
“Yeah?” you shot back. “Well, lucky me.”
Bellamy closed his eyes briefly, frustration boiling in his blood. Damn it, why couldn’t you just stop pushing him?
Murphy let out a dry chuckle. “You think you’re funny?” he sneered. “I’ll tell you what’s funny — the king losing his goddamn mind when he finds out."
“Finds out what?” you shot back, your voice sharp.
Murphy’s smirk widened. “That I’m the one who killed Connor.”
Your breath caught. Jasper stiffened beside you.
“You’re lying,” you said, but your voice wasn’t as steady as you wanted it to be.
“Am I?” Murphy’s eyes glinted with twisted satisfaction. “Ask Jasper.”
You turned to Jasper, who wouldn’t meet your gaze. His silence told you everything. A sick feeling curled in your stomach. “Jesus,” you muttered, turning back to Murphy. “You actually killed him?"
Murphy grinned, sharp and cruel. “Damn right I did.”
Jasper swallowed hard. “That’s why you took me,” he said, his voice quieter now. “Because I saw you.”
Murphy gave a mock bow. “Bingo. Knew you’d piece it together sooner or later.” His expression darkened. “Couldn’t have you running to Bellamy, now could I?”
You clenched your jaw. “And me?”
Murphy’s smirk returned. “You?” He chuckled. “You were a bonus.” He leaned in slightly, voice dropping into something almost conspiratorial. “See, when I heard you moving around upstairs, I thought, ‘Well, shit. That’s my lucky day.’ Knocked you out cold before you even knew I was there.” His grin widened. “Because what better leverage against Bellamy than you?”
Your stomach dropped.
“Oh, don’t look so surprised,” Murphy went on, his voice dripping with satisfaction. “You really think he wouldn’t do whatever the hell I wanted to get you back? Hell, next to Octavia, you’re the best damn bargaining chip I could ask for.”
Outside the dropship, Bellamy’s grip on the radio tightened until his knuckles went white. His jaw was locked so tight it ached.
Murphy kept talking. “So yeah,” he continued, pacing now. “I’ve got all the cards. Bellamy’s gonna come running, and when he does—”
“You so sure about that?” you cut in, forcing your voice to stay steady. “Because from where I’m sitting, it kinda looks like you’re just another dead man walking.”
Murphy stopped pacing. His smile twitched, fingers flexing around the rifle at his side.
“You know,” you said, your voice tight with defiance, “for someone who acts like a victim, you sure seem to enjoy being a miserable asshole.”
Murphy’s expression darkened. “You really wanna run that mouth right now?” he growled.
“Why not?” you shot back. “You’ve already proved you’re a coward. What’s one more tantrum?”
His eyes flashed with rage. In one swift motion, he raised the rifle and pointed it directly at you.
Your pulse hammered in your ears, but you refused to flinch. “Go ahead,” you sneered. “Prove me right.”
“Murphy!” Bellamy’s voice exploded from the radio, sharp and furious.
Murphy jerked in surprise, whipping around to face Jasper, who was gripping the radio tightly, his thumb still pressed on the button.
“Where the hell did you get that?” Murphy snapped, storming over and snatching it from Jasper’s hands.
“Murphy,” Bellamy’s voice came again, colder this time. “You hurt either of them, and I swear I’ll kill you!”
“You’re in no position to make threats,” Murphy sneered into the radio, his fingers tightening around the device. His eyes glinted with twisted satisfaction. “But I’ll tell you what—I’ll make you a deal.”
The silence that followed was suffocating. You swore you could hear your own heartbeat pounding in your ears. Murphy’s smile widened, sharp and cruel. “You for them,” he said. “Trade yourself for Jasper and her.”
Your stomach dropped. No.
Your head snapped toward Jasper. His face had gone pale, eyes wide with the same dread you felt clawing its way up your throat. He knew exactly what this meant. Bellamy wouldn’t be walking away from this — and Murphy fucking knew it.
“Don’t,” you whispered, voice barely audible. Your chest felt tight, like you couldn’t get enough air. “Don’t do it.”
The radio crackled.
“Deal.”
Your breath caught. “No!” you burst out, voice ragged. “Bellamy, don’t—”
Murphy clicked off the radio before you could finish “That’s enough out of you,” he muttered with a smug grin. Slinging his rifle over his shoulder, he turned to Jasper. “Well,” he drawled, voice dripping with mock cheer, “looks like we’re making a trade.”
“You’re gonna kill him,” you shot back, your voice shaking with rage. “That’s what this is — you’re setting him up to die.”
Murphy gave an exaggerated shrug. “Yeah? Not my problem.”
Your blood boiled. “You son of a—”
“Save it,” Murphy snapped, stepping forward and grabbing Jasper by the arm.
“Wait—” Jasper struggled, his eyes flicking desperately to you as Murphy hauled him toward the dropship door.
“Don’t,” you said, your voice cracking. “Murphy, don’t do this!”
Murphy didn’t even glance back. He shoved Jasper hard toward the exit, and Jasper stumbled forward, almost tripping over his own feet. Jasper turned, his gaze flicking between you and Murphy. His expression twisted in confusion and then realization.
“What the hell are you waiting for?” Murphy barked.
“You said both of us,” Jasper said, his voice low and uncertain.
Your heart thudded painfully. Murphy’s smile stretched wider, colder. He turned, looking straight at you, and the smug glint in his eyes made your stomach turn.
“I lied.”
Tumblr media
The sound of the dropship door clanging shut felt like a gunshot in your chest.
Bellamy stumbled forward, barely catching his balance as he pushed through the curtain. His gaze locked on you instantly, wide and frantic, but then his eyes shifted.
Murphy stood too close with his hand fisted in your shirt and his gun jammed against your ribs and Bellamy froze. His body went rigid, hands curling into fists at his sides. His chest rose and fell like he was barely holding himself together. “Let her go,” he said, his voice low and dangerous.
Murphy grinned, that smug, twisted smile that made your stomach turn. He didn’t move the gun “You’re in no position to be making demands,” Murphy sneered.
Bellamy’s eyes flicked to you again. You saw the way they dragged over you, the tension in your shoulders, the way you kept perfectly still, like any sudden movement might make Murphy pull the trigger. The rage simmering beneath Bellamy’s skin seemed to burn hotter.
“I said,” Bellamy growled, “let her go.”
Murphy snorted. “Yeah? And what’re you gonna do about it?”
Bellamy took a step forward and Murphy’s finger twitched on the trigger. The barrel pressed harder against your ribs, and you sucked in a sharp breath.
Bellamy froze again, teeth clenching hard enough to make his jaw twitch. “I said both of them,” Bellamy snapped, his voice shaking with fury. “That was the deal.”
Murphy’s smile stretched wider, like he’d been waiting for Bellamy to lose it. “Yeah…” Murphy dragged the word out, mockingly casual. “But here’s the thing…” His gaze flicked back to you, cold and calculating. “I’m never letting her go.”
Your heart stumbled and Bellamy’s face twisted into something dark and dangerous. “What the hell does that mean?”
“It means,” Murphy said, his voice tightening, “she means too much to me.” His fingers curled tighter in your shirt, dragging you closer like you were some kind of prize. “I’m not stupid. I know how much you care about her. You think I’d give up something that valuable?”
“You’re fucking sick,” Bellamy spat.
Murphy’s grin turned sharp. “Maybe,” he said with a shrug. “But you know what’s funny? I don’t think you’ll do a damn thing about it.”
“You think I won’t kill you?” Bellamy shot back.
“Oh, you will,” Murphy said, pressing the gun harder into your ribs. You bit down a wince. “But not before I put a bullet in her first.”
Bellamy’s eyes widened, panic flickering behind the anger. His gaze shifted to yours again, and you knew exactly what he was thinking. Murphy kept his gun trained on you as he took a slow step back, dragging the moment out like he was savoring it.
“You know what’s funny, Bellamy?” Murphy mused, a bitter grin curling on his lips. “You standing here, looking so goddamn righteous—acting like I’m the bad guy.”
Bellamy didn’t answer, his jaw ticking as his glare burned into Murphy.
Murphy let out a dry chuckle. “Let’s take a little trip down memory lane, yeah? Let’s talk about how you kicked the box from under my feet and almost let me fucking hang.” His voice sharpened, the anger cutting through the mockery. “Let’s talk about how you banished me—left me to die—all for what? Justice?”
Bellamy’s throat bobbed as he swallowed hard, but his face remained unreadable.
Murphy scoffed, shaking his head. “Yeah. That’s what I thought.” He took another step back, finally putting some space between himself and you, but his gun didn’t waver. His free hand shot out, grabbing a nearby box, and with a loud scrape, he dragged it to the center of the dropship.
You glanced at Bellamy, confused, but he was just as lost as you were.
Then, without breaking eye contact, Murphy found couple of long, thick straps—seatbelts and ripped from the wreckage of the drop ship.
He tossed them toward Bellamy’s feet and Bellamy barely spared them a glance before his glare snapped back up.
Murphy smirked. “Make a noose.”
Your stomach lurched. “Murphy—”
“Shut up,” he snapped, not even looking at you.
Bellamy didn’t move. His jaw was clenched so tight you could see the muscle jump, his hands flexing at his sides like he was seconds from lunging.
Murphy sighed, rolling his eyes. “C’mon, Bellamy,” he drawled. “You’ve done it before.” His smirk turned razor-sharp. “Should be muscle memory by now.”
Bellamy’s chest rose and fell, his breath coming heavier now. “You think this’ll make it right?” Bellamy said, voice low, shaking with restrained fury. “You think this makes you the good guy?”
Murphy’s face darkened. “I don’t give a shit about being the good guy.” His finger twitched on the trigger. “Now, make the fucking noose.”
Bellamy’s hands trembled as he twisted the seatbelt into a knot, his knuckles white from how tightly he was gripping the worn fabric. The room felt suffocating, almost too quiet except for the faint sound of Bellamy’s ragged breathing.
“You know…” Murphy’s voice cut through the silence like a blade, cold and sharp. “The more I think about it… the more it makes sense.”
Bellamy didn’t react, keeping his eyes locked on the knot he was tying, but you saw the way his shoulders tensed.
Murphy leaned back in his chair, still keeping the gun trained on Bellamy. “The king and the queen,” he said with a mockingly sweet smile. “That’s what you two are, isn’t it?” He snorted. “Clarke’s the princess, the one everyone listens to… but you two?” He shook his head. “You’re the real power couple. Always side by side, always whispering to each other — doesn’t take a genius to see what’s going on there.”
“You’re full of shit,” Bellamy muttered, voice low and tight.
Murphy grinned. “Am I?” He gestured vaguely between you and Bellamy. “’Cause I remember how it started — you two couldn’t stand each other. Always bickering, always at each other’s throats.” His grin widened. “But then something changed, didn’t it?”
Bellamy’s hands stilled on the noose, fingers curling into fists.
“You started sticking close to each other,” Murphy continued. “Backing each other up, sharing those little looks. Always so protective of her…” His gaze flicked to you, and his smile turned colder. “And her? Man, she followed you around like a fucking shadow.”
“Shut up,” Bellamy snapped, his voice breaking.
But Murphy wasn’t finished. “I mean… it’s not hard to figure out why. I saw the way she looked at you — like you hung the goddamn moon.” Murphy chuckled darkly. “I bet she still does.”
“Murphy, I swear to God—”
“And you?” Murphy’s eyes slid back to you, sharp and calculating. “You’re just as bad.” His smile twisted into something cruel. “What’s it like knowing he’d do anything for you? Must feel pretty fucking special.”
“Stop,” Bellamy warned, his voice tight with barely restrained fury.
Murphy ignored him. His eyes stayed on you, cold and gleeful. “Tell me…” His smile sharpened. “Did you have to sleep with him to get him to care that much? Or did you just bat those pretty eyes and hope he’d notice?”
The words hit their mark like a slap, heat rising to your face. Bellamy shot to his feet so fast the chair beneath him scraped loudly against the floor “Watch your fucking mouth,” Bellamy snarled, his voice dangerously low.
Murphy just laughed, dark and humorless. “See?” he said, waving the gun toward Bellamy. “Look at him — all worked up just ‘cause I talked about you.” He smirked at you. “Man’s got it bad.”
Bellamy’s fists clenched at his sides, every muscle in his body tight like a wire about to snap. “You think this is funny?” Bellamy’s voice was rough, his eyes burning with rage. “You think you can push me until I break?”
Murphy’s grin widened. “I’m counting on it.”
Bellamy’s chest rose and fell in sharp, angry breaths. His fists were still clenched at his sides, his entire body coiled like a spring about to snap.
“Go on,” Murphy taunted, his grin widening as he turned the gun back on you. “Be a hero, Bellamy. Step out of line — give me a reason.”
“Don’t,” you said quickly, your voice sharp with panic. Your eyes locked with Bellamy’s, silently pleading for him to keep his cool. He was barely hanging on, you could see it in the tight set of his jaw, the fire blazing behind his eyes.
“Look at her,” Murphy sneered. “So worried about you. Almost sweet, isn’t it?” He chuckled darkly. “Guess that’s what happens when you’re in love with someone.”
Bellamy’s eyes flicked to you again, something raw and unspoken flashing across his face.
“Don’t know why you two keep pretending,” Murphy went on, voice smug and cruel. “I mean, we all see it. Even the damn kids back at camp talk about it.” He smirked wider. “Hell, if I didn’t know better, I’d say you two were already screwin’.”
“Shut the fuck up,” Bellamy growled.
Murphy’s smile sharpened. “What’s the matter? Don’t like me talking about your girl?”
“She’s not—” Bellamy started, but Murphy cut him off.
“Please,” Murphy spat. “I know you’d die for her. And her?” He shot you a pointed look. “She’d do the same for you. Stupid, isn’t it? All that loyalty, for what?”
“Because he’s worth it,” you snapped before you could stop yourself.
Murphy’s smile faltered, just for a second, and then he was laughing again, cold and sharp. “Yeah? We’ll see how much you believe that when he’s the one with the noose around his neck.”
Bellamy’s fingers twisted the belt in his hands, the makeshift noose tightening as he pulled the knot into place. His hands shook, sweat beading along his hairline despite the cold air inside the dropship. He kept his head down, jaw clenched so tightly you swore his teeth might crack.
“Alright,” Murphy said, voice smug and satisfied. “Get on the box.”
Bellamy’s fingers stilled. His head lifted slightly, eyes locking on Murphy. “You’re out of your mind,” Bellamy muttered.
Murphy’s smile widened. “I said, get on the goddamn box.”
“Bellamy, don’t,” you blurted, unable to stop yourself.
Murphy’s expression twisted, all smugness gone in an instant. Without warning, he whipped the gun toward you and pulled the trigger.
BANG.
You flinched hard, a sharp yelp tearing from your throat as the bullet struck the metal wall inches from your head. The sound rang in your ears, and your heart hammered against your ribs.
“Next one doesn’t miss,” Murphy warned coldly, his gaze snapping back to Bellamy. “Now, get your ass on the box, or she dies.”
“Alright!” Bellamy barked, pushing himself to his feet so fast the chair skidded back. His voice shook with anger and with fear. His eyes flicked to you for the briefest second before he turned and grabbed the wooden crate near the center of the room.
“You’re insane,” Bellamy muttered under his breath as he dragged the box into position.
Murphy grinned. “Yeah? Maybe. But you’re still the idiot standing on the box.”
Bellamy shot him a murderous glare but stepped onto the crate anyway. The wood creaked under his weight. His broad shoulders tensed, muscles coiled and ready, but there was no fight left to pick. Not when Murphy’s finger twitched so damn easily on that trigger.
“Bellamy…” Your voice was barely a whisper.
He didn’t look at you. He couldn’t. His focus was on Murphy, on the shaking gun, on whatever slim chance there was to turn this around.
“Alright,” Murphy said with a grin, tossing the loose end of the noose over the metal beam above. “Now we’re gettin’ somewhere.” Murphy tossed the loose end of the noose over the metal beam, the seatbelt strap hissing as it slid through his fingers. With ease, he secured the knot, yanking it tight until the loop hung in place, waiting.
Bellamy stared at it, his jaw clenched so tight you swore his teeth might shatter. His hands curled into fists at his sides, but he didn’t move. Didn’t reach for it.
Murphy cocked his head, a cruel grin tugging at his lips. “What’s wrong, Bellamy? Cold feet?” He tugged at the strap, testing its hold before stepping back. “That’s funny. Didn’t hesitate to kick the box out from under me.”
Bellamy’s eyes flashed with something dark, but still, he didn’t move.
Murphy’s grin widened. “Oh, I get it,” he drawled. “It’s different when it’s you, huh? When it’s your neck on the line?” He shook his head with mock disappointment. “Guess you’re not as tough as you like to pretend.”
Bellamy stayed silent. His body was rigid, tension rolling off him in waves, but he didn’t react, not in the way Murphy wanted.
Murphy’s smile twitched. He hated that. So, he turned to you. “Or maybe…” Murphy mused, his voice slow and taunting. “Maybe you just need the right motivation.” Murphy’s eyes slid toward you, and before you could blink, he raised the gun and fired.
The crack of the shot ripped through the air, deafening in the tight space. For a second, you didn’t feel anything, just a cold, hollow shock spreading through your body, but then the pain hit.
White-hot and searing. You screamed, clutching your thigh as blood poured from the fresh wound. It was everywhere, spilling through your fingers, soaking your clothes, pooling beneath you. The agony stole your breath, your vision blurring with tears.
“No!” Bellamy lunged toward you, but Murphy was faster.
“Back the fuck up!” Murphy barked, jerking the gun toward Bellamy’s chest. “You so much as breathe wrong, I’ll put the next one in her head.”
Bellamy froze, chest heaving, face twisted in fury. His eyes flicked back to you, and you could see it, the panic, the helplessness, the rage simmering beneath it all.
“Put it on,” Murphy ordered, gesturing to the noose. “Now.”
“Murphy,” Bellamy gritted out, voice low and dangerous, “don’t do this.”
Murphy’s eyes narrowed. “I said put it on.”
Bellamy’s gaze darted back to you, to the blood still pouring from your leg and something in him broke. Hands shaking, he grabbed the noose and slipped it around his neck.
“Good,” Murphy sneered. He gave the strap a sharp yank, dragging Bellamy closer until his boots barely touched the box. Bellamy choked, rising onto his toes, his fingers instinctively clawing at the strap.
“Stop!” you gasped through the pain, pushing yourself up on your elbows. “Please, stop!”
Murphy shot you a twisted smile. “Hurts, doesn’t it?” His gaze flicked back to Bellamy. “Hurts worse watching someone you love bleed out right in front of you.”
Bellamy’s face was turning red, veins standing out on his neck. His furious gaze never left Murphy.
Murphy chuckled darkly. He grinned at Bellamy, eyes gleaming with twisted satisfaction. “Guess I can see why you love her. She’s a fighter — I’ll give her that. Not to mention…” His eyes dragged over you, lingering too long. “She’s easy on the eyes.”
“Don’t,” Bellamy ground out, voice raw.
“What?” Murphy smirked. “You pissed ‘cause I noticed?” He gave the noose another sharp tug, forcing Bellamy higher on his toes. “Or are you pissed ‘cause she’s bleeding out right now and you can’t do a damn thing about it?”
Tears streaked down your face as you squeezed your eyes shut, attempting to block out the pain. Bellamy’s face was darkening, his muscles straining to keep himself upright.
“You know,” Murphy mused, “if I were you, I’d start thinking about your last words.” He grinned. “’Cause I don’t think you’ve got much time left.”
Murphy’s grin widened as he gave the noose another hard yank. The strap dug deeper into Bellamy’s throat, forcing a ragged, strangled sound from him as his boots scraped against the box, barely keeping him upright. His face was turning red, veins bulging at his temples.
“You’re turning colors there, Bellamy,” Murphy sneered. “Starting to think you’re not gonna make it.”
Then there was a noise, faint but distinct coming from beneath the dropship.
Murphy’s head snapped toward the sound, his expression twisting in irritation. “Bet that’s your little grounder-pounder sister,” he muttered. His eyes narrowed, and before anyone could react, he fired a shot through the metal floor.
“No!” you screamed.
Bellamy’s instincts kicked in. Fueled by desperation, he lunged forward, yanking hard on the strap around his own neck and knocking Murphy off balance. The gun fired again, but the shot went wide, sparking off the metal wall.
“Son of a bitch!” Murphy growled, shoving Bellamy back and this time, his boot shot out, slamming into the box beneath Bellamy’s feet.
The box tipped over, crashing to the floor. Bellamy’s body dropped, and suddenly he was hanging, gasping, choking, his fingers clawing desperately at the noose cutting into his throat. His legs kicked out wildly, searching for something — anything to catch his balance.
“Bellamy!” you cried, panic crashing over you like a wave. You fought against your bonds, your fingernails tearing at the rope around your wrists. You twisted and yanked, sobbing through the pain.
Bellamy’s face was darkening, his gasps turning to garbled, desperate sounds. His fingers struggled at the strap digging into his throat, his eyes flicking to you wide with fear and pain.
The dropship door suddenly groaned and flew open, slamming against the wall.
“Shit,” Murphy hissed. He bolted for the ladder, scrambling up toward the second level.
“No, no, no!” you sobbed, still sawing at the ropes with your fingernails, desperate to break free as Bellamy’s body jerked violently above you. His kicks were getting weaker. His face was turning a sickening shade of purple.
“Hold on,” you begged him. “Please hold on.”
Murphy’s boots clanged against the metal rungs as he scrambled up the ladder, his breath ragged and frantic. He reached the second level, slammed the hatch shut behind him, and shoved the lock into place just as Octavia rushed inside the dropship.
“Bellamy!” she cried, her eyes widening in horror as she saw her brother dangling from the noose. Without hesitation, she ran beneath him, gripping his waist and trying to lift him. Bellamy’s weight sagged against her, his face blotched red and purple as his strained gasps turned weaker.
“Jasper!” Octavia shouted. “Cut the rope!”
Jasper didn’t hesitate. Grabbing a jagged piece of scrap metal, he lunged for the rope, sawing at it with desperate force. The fibers began to fray, splitting one by one. “Come on, come on,” Jasper muttered through gritted teeth.
Finally, the rope gave way, and Bellamy dropped like dead weight into Octavia’s arms. He collapsed to the floor, crumpling in a heap, his body jerking as he gasped for air.
“Bellamy!” Octavia knelt beside him, her hand on his chest, trying to calm him down. “You’re okay. You’re okay, just breathe.”
Someone rushed to your side, fumbling with the ropes around your wrists. The second they fell loose, you tried to stand, but pain shot through your leg like fire. You cried out, stumbling, barely able to keep your balance.
“Whoa, hey, easy,” the Harper said, looping an arm around your waist to steady you.
“I’m fine,” you ground out, teeth clenched against the pain. “I’m fine.” But you weren’t. Every step sent agony tearing through your thigh. Still, you forced yourself to limp forward, dragging yourself to Bellamy’s side.
His breaths were still rough and uneven, his face pale and drenched in sweat. His hand clutched at his raw, bruised throat, and his fingers shook violently. “Bell,” you rasped, dropping to your knees beside him. “Hey… hey, I’m here.”
His bloodshot eyes flicked up to meet yours, and something broke inside you.
“I’m gonna kill him,” Bellamy choked out, his voice hoarse and ragged. He shoved Octavia’s hand off his chest and lurched to his feet.
“Bellamy, wait—” you grabbed for him, but he was already staggering toward the ladder. He barely felt the pain, barely noticed the way his legs threatened to give out beneath him. All he could see was red.
He reached the ladder and climbed, ignoring the ache in his throat, the burn in his muscles. Reaching the top, he slammed his fist against the locked door.
“Open the damn door, Murphy!” Bellamy roared, his voice raw and broken. He pounded again, harder this time. “You think you’re safe up there? I’m gonna kill you!”
“Open the damn door, Murphy!” Bellamy roared, his voice hoarse and ragged. He slammed his fist against the hatch, metal rattling beneath his knuckles. His body ached and his throat was raw, his muscles screamed but none of that mattered. Not after what Murphy had done.
“You think you’re safe up there?” Bellamy bellowed, pounding again. “I’m gonna kill you!”
Suddenly, there was a click, the faintest sound, followed by Murphy’s twisted laugh from above “Yeah?” Murphy called back. “Good luck with that.”
Then came the boom. The explosion ripped through the dropship like a thunderclap, deafening and violent. Bellamy stumbled back, nearly losing his footing as the force of the blast knocked him away from the hatch. The floor shook beneath him, metal groaning in protest.
Smoke billowed from above, filling the air with the sharp scent of gunpowder and scorched metal. Bellamy’s ears rang, but through the haze, he saw it — a gaping hole where the side of the dropship used to be. Chunks of metal still crumbled away, clattering to the ground outside. And Murphy that bastard was already sprinting through the trees, making his escape.
Bellamy lunged toward the twisted wreckage, climbing over the mangled metal. “Murphy!” he roared, but the coward was too far gone, his dark figure disappearing into the woods. Bellamy’s fists clenched so tightly his nails dug into his palms. He could still feel the rope burn on his throat, still see the way you’d screamed when the bullet tore through your leg. He was going to kill Murphy.
“Bellamy!” Octavia’s voice yanked him back. He spun around, heart pounding as he stumbled down the ladder, nearly tripping in his rush to get back to you.
You were on the floor, pale as a ghost. Blood soaked your jeans, spreading fast. Harper was pressing a wad of cloth against your thigh, but her face was tight with panic. “She’s losing too much blood,” Harper said, her voice strained.
Bellamy dropped to his knees beside you, hands shaking as he took over. He pressed down hard, too hard and you let out a sharp cry. “Sorry,” Bellamy muttered, voice thick. His hand lifted just enough to ease the pressure. “I’m sorry… I just — I need you to stay with me, okay?”
Your eyes flickered open, glassy and unfocused. “I’m not going anywhere,” you mumbled, but your voice was barely a whisper.
“You better not,” Bellamy said, forcing a shaky breath. His hand found your face, thumb brushing along your dirt-streaked cheek. “I mean it… you don’t get to quit on me now.”
Your fingers twitched, weakly curling around his wrist. “I won’t,” you rasped. “I promise.”
Bellamy swallowed the lump in his throat and nodded. “Good.” His voice broke. “Good… just… just keep your eyes on me, okay?”
But he felt your grip weaken your fingers slipping from his arm. Bellamy’s hands were slick with your blood, his fingers pressing desperately against the wound. His breath came in ragged bursts, panic clawing at his chest.
“No… no, no, no…” His voice shook as he pressed harder, trying to stop the steady flow of crimson. “Stay with me!” His voice cracked, raw and broken. “You hear me? Don’t you dare—”
Your head lolled to the side, eyes barely open, your skin deathly pale. Bellamy’s heart slammed against his ribs.
“Shit…” He whipped his head around, voice sharp. “I need something, anything to stop the bleeding!”
“Bellamy—” Harper stammered.
“Now!” Bellamy barked, his voice snapping like a whip. But before Harper could even move, the sound of footsteps pounded against the metal stairs outside. Bellamy’s head jerked up, muscles tensing as the door burst open.
“Clarke?!” Harper's stunned voice broke the silence.
Bellamy’s breath caught in his throat. Clarke stood in the doorway, chest heaving, her hair damp with sweat and streaked with dirt. She was back.
“Oh my God…” Clarke’s eyes locked on you, on the blood pooling beneath Bellamy’s hands and her face paled. “What happened?!”
“Murphy—” Bellamy’s voice wavered. “He—he shot her.” He swallowed hard, his voice breaking again. “I—I can’t stop the bleeding.”
“Move!” Clarke barked, already rushing forward. Bellamy didn’t hesitate, he slid back just enough to give her space, his hands hovering above you like he couldn’t bear to let go completely.
Clarke knelt beside you, her fingers moving fast as she ripped open her pack and grabbed supplies. “She’s lost a lot of blood,” she muttered under her breath. “Too much…”
“She’s gonna be okay, right?” Bellamy’s voice was sharp, desperate. “Tell me she’s gonna be okay!”
“I don’t know yet,” Clarke shot back, pressing gauze hard against your wound. “But I need you to calm down.”
“Calm down?!” Bellamy’s voice rose. “She’s bleeding out, Clarke!” His voice cracked on your name.
“I know!” Clarke snapped, eyes flashing. “And if you don’t shut up and let me work, she won’t make it!”
Bellamy staggered back like he’d been slapped, chest heaving. His hands curled into fists, your blood still warm and sticky on his fingers.
“Please…” His voice broke softer this time, barely above a whisper. “Please… save her.”
Clarke’s expression softened for a heartbeat, but just as quickly, she refocused, her hands steady as she worked to save you.

A dull, aching pain throbbed through your thigh as you slowly drifted back to consciousness. The air was thick with the scent of damp earth and faint traces of smoke from the campfire outside. Your limbs felt heavy, exhaustion still clinging to you, but you forced your eyes open.
Dim candlelight flickered across the canvas walls of the tent, casting soft shadows. It took a second for your mind to catch up, to remember what had happened. The dropship, Murphy, the gunshot...You sucked in a sharp breath, your body tensing in panic.
“Hey, hey,” a familiar voice broke through the haze, rough but gentle. “It’s okay. You’re safe.”
Your eyes finally focused on the figure sitting beside you, slouched forward in a chair like he hadn’t moved in hours. Bellamy. His dark eyes were locked onto you, filled with relief but shadowed by worry. He looked exhausted, his jaw clenched, his hair a mess like he’d been running his hands through it over and over.
“Bellamy…?” Your voice was hoarse, barely more than a whisper.
His whole body seemed to sag at the sound of your voice, like he’d been holding himself together by a thread. “Yeah. I’m here.” He leaned in, his hands hovering like he wanted to touch you but wasn’t sure if he should. “You scared the hell out of me.”
You swallowed, trying to shift, but a sharp pain shot through your thigh, making you wince. Bellamy was up in an instant, his hands gently pressing against your blanket-covered leg to keep you from moving too much.
“Careful,” he murmured. “You lost a lot of blood. Clarke patched you up, but you’ve been out for almost a day.”
A whole day? No wonder your body felt like lead. You exhaled shakily, letting your head fall back against the pillow. “Jasper?” you asked, your voice still weak.
“He’s okay,” Bellamy assured you. “Thanks to you.” His jaw tightened, his gaze flickering away for a second before he looked back at you. “You shouldn’t have put yourself in danger like that.”
A small, tired smile ghosted over your lips. “Didn’t really have a choice.”
Bellamy let out a quiet, humorless chuckle, shaking his head. “Yeah, that sounds like you.” His expression softened, and this time, when his hand reached out, he let it rest over yours. His palm was warm, grounding. “Don’t ever do that to me again,” he said, voice rough with emotion.
You gave his hand a light squeeze, your eyelids already growing heavy again. “Can’t make any promises…”
Bellamy huffed out a breath but then his fingers curled around yours a little tighter, like he was anchoring himself to the feeling of your skin against his. His jaw clenched, his eyes flickering down to where your leg was still wrapped in bandages beneath the blanket.
“I should’ve done something different,” he murmured, his voice thick with guilt.
You frowned slightly, trying to shake off the haze of exhaustion. “Bellamy…”
“No,” he cut you off, shaking his head. “I should’ve—” His throat bobbed, his grip on your hand tightening. “I should’ve just listened to Murphy. If I had, maybe he wouldn’t have—” His breath hitched, and he looked away, jaw clenched so hard it looked like it hurt. “You wouldn’t have gotten shot.”
You stared at him, barely processing what he was saying at first. “You think this was your fault?”
Bellamy let out a bitter laugh, dragging a hand down his face. “Of course it’s my fault. Murphy wanted revenge on me. I hesitated and didn't listen, and because of that, he turned his gun on you.” His voice cracked, raw with self-loathing. “I should’ve done something...anything to stop it.”
You could see it now, the weight of it pressing down on him, the guilt drowning him. He wasn’t just shaken up from almost losing you. He truly believed that if he had done something differently, you wouldn’t be lying here, weak and wounded.
You hated seeing him like this.
Summoning what little strength you had, you shifted your fingers beneath his, giving his hand a small squeeze. “Bellamy, look at me.”
He hesitated before finally meeting your eyes, and the sheer torment in his gaze nearly shattered you.
“This wasn’t your fault,” you said firmly, even though your voice was still weak. “Murphy was unhinged. There was no guarantee he wouldn’t have shot someone anyway. The grounders will take care of him now.” You swallowed against the dryness in your throat. “You did what you thought was right and that's all that matters.”
Bellamy let out a slow, unsteady breath, like he was trying to believe your words but couldn’t quite let go of the guilt. His free hand hovered over your blanket-covered leg, his fingertips brushing the fabric just above the bandage. “I just… I can’t stop thinking about it,” he admitted. “The second that gun went off, and you—” He cut himself off, inhaling sharply. “I thought I was going to lose you.”
The quiet confession sent warmth and pain curling through your chest all at once. You’d never heard his voice so raw, so vulnerable. “You didn’t,” you murmured. “I’m still here.”
His lips pressed into a tight line, his gaze searching yours like he wanted to believe you, but the guilt was still lingering, still gnawing at him.
For a moment, neither of you spoke. The only sound was the distant crackling of the campfire outside, the muffled voices of the others going about their night.
Then then Bellamy did something that nearly stole the breath from your lungs. He lifted your hand to his lips, pressing the softest, most fleeting kiss against your knuckles.
When he pulled away, his eyes locked onto yours, something unspoken burning in them. “I’m not gonna let anything happen to you again.” His voice was barely more than a whisper, but the weight behind it was unshakable.
You felt your heartbeat stutter in your chest, your breath catching as you stared at him. There was so much you wanted to say. So many emotions swirled between you. Relief, exhaustion--something unspoken that had always lingered beneath the surface. But now, with his hand still wrapped around yours, his lips barely parted like he was holding back something important, you weren’t sure you could keep pretending anymore.
Bellamy exhaled slowly, his fingers twitching like he wanted to touch you again, like he wasn’t sure if he should. His eyes darkened, flickering down to your lips for just a second before meeting your gaze again. "I don’t think I can do this anymore."
Your brow furrowed. “Do what?”
His grip on your hand tightened as he leaned in ever so slightly, his breath warm against your skin. “Pretend like I don’t feel something for you,” he said, voice barely above a whisper. “Like I haven’t felt something for you since the moment we met.”
Your breath caught in your throat. The exhaustion, the pain in your leg, everything else faded into the background.
He shook his head, his expression twisted in frustration, almost like he was angry with himself. “I was so damn scared to say it before. I told myself I couldn’t--there’s too much going on, too much at stake. But when I saw you lying there, bleeding out, I realized something.” He let out a shaky breath. “I can’t lose you. Not before I tell you that I—” He swallowed hard, his eyes locked onto yours. “I love you, Y/N.”
Your chest tightened, emotion swelling up inside you so fast it nearly stole your breath. You had dreamed about hearing those words from him, but hearing them now, spoken with so much raw, unfiltered honesty, was almost too much. Your lips parted, but no words came out. Instead, you reached up, your fingers curling weakly around the fabric of his shirt, tugging him closer.
That was all it took. Bellamy closed the distance in a heartbeat, his lips crashing against yours, urgent, desperate, like he had been holding back for far too long. His hands framed your face, his thumbs brushing gently over your skin, a contrast to the sheer intensity of the kiss.
You melted into him, your body still weak but your heart pounding, your fingers gripping onto him like he was the only thing tethering you to the world.
When he finally pulled away, his forehead rested against yours, his breath ragged. “I should’ve told you sooner,” he murmured.
A small, tired smile played on your lips as you ran your fingers lightly over his shirt. “You’re making up for it now.”
Bellamy let out a soft, breathy chuckle, but when he looked at you again, there was nothing but pure devotion in his gaze. “I’m not going anywhere,” he promised, pressing another soft kiss to your forehead. “Not ever.”
And for the first time in a long time, despite the chaos of the world around you, you truly believed him. "I love you too, bell." You whispered with a soft smile on your lips.

In The Haze 🌪️
A classic Bellamy Blake x Kane!reader acid fog story….with a head cannon included as a twist ✨
TW- cannon divergence, mentions of assault/manipulation, gore?
——-
The silence of the hunting group made the trees seem louder, each gust of wind causing heads to whip around. Your feet no longer crunched on the forest floor like they had when you first arrived to the ground mere weeks ago. You looked to your ‘leader’, seriously doubting his decision to leave the safety of camp with all the current looming threats from the grounders. When you saw his determined expression, you couldn’t help but roll your eyes. He was the only one of the group who didn’t look afraid, and that made him a fool.
“Over there!” Sterling whisper-shouted, pointing to a deer in the distance. Bellamy nodded and as usual, took the lead and aimed his knife. You decided to take in the scenery instead of watching another of his power plays. That was when you saw it. A murder of at least one hundred crows, frantically fleeing across the sky. You didn’t want to know what they were so afraid of. Unfortunately, on the ground it’s not possible to close your eyes to the dangers.
“ACID FOGGG!!!” Munroe yelled. Your eyes widened as you watched the group run off in different directions. You didn’t know which way the nearest shelter was and found yourself spinning in circles. The fog moved closer, faster than you could think. Until a hand grabbed yours.
“Come on!” Bellamy’s gruff voice ushered you away from green cloud. The two of you ran, hand in hand, faster than you ever had before. The forest became a muddy green blur around you.
“There’s a cave by those rocks up there.” He called over his shoulder. You focused your eyes on the shining wet rocks, trying not to think of the encroaching fog. You felt a tug on your neck as you brushed past a tree, on instinct you looked back.
When you saw what had happened, you dropped your hand from Bellamy’s and started to run back. You would rather die in the fog than lose this necklace.
You ignored Bellamy’s calls and moved faster towards the fog, heart almost stopping when you saw it about to make contact your most precious possession. You desperately lunged your hand forward, praying that you’d reach it before the fog did. You could almost feel the chain when you were harshly pulled away. Your hope shattered as you watched the fog engulf your necklace. You still fought Bellamy’s grip for a moment, unable to accept it. You fought until the burning agony of reality seared itself into the arm still stretched out in lost hope.
Finally, you gave in and allowed Bellamy to drag you out of the fog that had begun to swallow you whole.
“What the hell was that?!” He spat as he pushed you into the cave. “You nearly got us both killed over a necklace!” He rubbed his temped as he spoke. “It’s metal! The fog isn’t gunna damage it.” He began to lecture.
“It’s not just a necklace!” You growled, jaw clenching in the pain of your burnt arm. “There was a lock of my mothers hair in there. The fog just turned the last piece of her to dust.” Your voice cracked. For the first time, you noticed Bellamy Blake looking at you as something other than one of the privileged. Running a hand through his curled hair, he sighed.
“I have water in my bag. Let me help you.” Gesturing to your now weeping arm.
Sweat rolled down your back as he peeled off the remnants of your sleeve. You watched his brows furrow in concern at every shudder and wince.
“Why are you helping me?” You asked weakly. “I thought you’d say I deserve this, since my dad floated your mom and all.” You stared at the dripping cave roof.
“I think I’m learning to accept that you can’t judge someone by the sins of their father.” He spoke sadly. You flicked your gaze back to him, watching him curiously. He took a deep breath before meeting your eyes.
“I found out something recently.” His breath hitched and his hands faltered as they worked on your arm. “Commander Shumway is my father.” He released a breath, one that felt as though it was the first since he found out. “She met him just after he became a cadet. He caught her stealing medicine for her father. Told her he would let her off, if she did him a ‘favour’. Nine months later, there I was. But he didn’t care. Instead he held everything against her and once Octavia was born…well he had the ultimate leverage then didn’t he? Then all these years later he tells me the truth, but for his own ends!” You barely felt him tip the water on your arm, as you were listening intently to his tale. “He tells me that he got Octavia into the dropship. He told me if I killed the chancellor, he could use the chaos to get me on the ship with her. I fell for it like a fool.” He wrapped your arm in some torn cloth as he continued. “As soon as I was on the ship, he ratted me out.” Bitterness etched upon his face. “So yeah, I can understand not wanting to make the same mistakes as your shitty father.” His mask returned in an instant with his signature smirk, as he dropped your now cleaned and wrapped arm.
“Thanks.” You gestured to your arm. “For the record, you might be an egotistical dick sometimes, but you’re good. You aren’t like him.” You sent Bellamy a small smile, which he returned while bringing his eyes to meet yours once more.
“You too Kane.” He spoke softly before leaning back against the cave wall and closing his eyes.
“We should rest until the fog clears. We still have to hunt.” His voice had retreated to its usual tone. As you leaned your head against the rocky cave wall you realised that somewhere in the haze, you and Bellamy Blake had seen each other for the first time. Even if just for a second.

Gabriella Kane was emotionally exhausted, which was a big difference to how she felt when she was stuck in the sky-box. Up there, when she was locked up and getting ready to get executed, she did not need emotions, but she wanted to feel something so badly that she even ended up stealing a guard's knife and carving her initials into the back of her leg, just under her knee. The feeling stung but she was the type of person who thrived off of anger and passion, not pain.
That was not a period in her life she was proud of and looking at the faint scar still made her obnoxiously angry. She felt weak for going to those lengths just to feel something and to feel human. But now, when she was on Earth in the middle of a war, leading a group of teenagers into war against actual warriors, she had to do that without the constant need to scream because two of her best friends were missing and there was nothing she could do about it.
Of course, the first thing Gabriella did when she woke up from the few minutes of sleep she got, was going to grab her gun. Only to realize Bellamy was one step ahead of her and already given orders that only specific delinquents were allowed to carry guns and no one was allowed to go out of camp with them.
"Bellamy, what the fuck?" Gabriella hissed, barging into Bellamy's tent.
He was laying on his back, shirtless, staring at the ceiling of the tent with a thoughtful expression on his face which instantly turned into one of amusement at Gabriella's pissed-off tone.
"Yes, Bambi?"
"Why the fuck did you give out the order that no one is allowed to go out of camp with a gun while I was asleep?" She asked, glaring down at him.
Bellamy shrugged, getting up and purposely flexing his muscles (only irritating Gabriella more) before picking up a shirt and twirling it around, his only intention to provoke her.
Gabriella clenched her jaw before she sighed. "You said we're gonna go looking for them after the sun goes up! It's been up for more than an hour. If we wanna find Clarke and Monty we need to go now."
"You're not going anywhere while I'm here." Bellamy said, suddenly turning serious.
"What are you, my father?" The blonde scoffed.
Noticing the corner of Bellamy's mouth slowly started tugging into a smug smirk, she instantly prepared for his next words by fixing him a warning glare. Which he obviously ignored.
"If you want I could ── "
"Don't you dare finish that sentence." The engineer warned with a scowl.
"No one's going outside." Bellamy said sternly. "You aren't in the right state of mind to be running around the woods with a gun in your hand. We can't risk losing anyone else." Gabriella opened her mouth to say something, only for him to cut her off again, "Wells and Raven agreed."
"Since when do you listen to Wells and Raven?" Gabriella asked, squinting her eyes up at him in confusion.
"I don't." Bellamy shrugged, "But you listen to Raven. So if she's okay with not going looking for her boyfriend if it means keeping everyone safe then so should you."
"I don't care if we find Finn or not. I want to find Clarke and Monty. Monty's an engineer and we need Clarke to get through this. You know that."
"Yeah." The man nodded solemnly. "But I also know I'm not willing to lose another one of our leaders."
"So what? We just sit back and do nothing?" Gabriella asked in disbelief.
"No." Bellamy said and shook his head, "We get ready for war. You can start by helping Jasper and Raven with the gunpowder for the minefield. Go."
"You're dismissing me?" The blonde gaped up at him, not believing he would start treating her like one of her lap dogs around camp.
Bellamy huffed, gripping the shirt in his hands tighter. "If that's what you'd call keeping you alive, then yes. You're dismissed."
Gabriella held her empty blue eyes glued to his dark brown ones before sighing and marching out of his tent. When she was standing outside she ran her fingers through her dirty blonde hair in frustration, feelings unexplainable anger bubbling up in the bottom of her stomach.
She looked around camp and her eyes connected with Murphy's, softening almost instantly. He looked like he was gonna walk up to her but something over her shoulder caught his attention and made him scoff under his breath and then turn around with a permanent scowl on his face. Gabriella furrowed her eyes in confusion and was about to follow him into the supply tent, only for Bellamy's voice to stop her.
"Trouble in paradise?"
The Kane girl turned around to see a shirtless Bellamy giving her a coy smirk, obviously catching her and Murphy's exchange and finding it amusing.
Gabriella quickly caught on to what Murphy probably thinks he saw and shook her head in annoyance. "You're an ass."
-
Gabriella quickly stopped what she was doing when a loud gunshot was heard through camp. Her eyes widened in alarm and she rushed towards the source of the sound, with Bellamy right next to her and a few other delinquents behind them.
"What the hell is the matter with you?" Bellamy snapped at a panicked Philip, who was supposedly the one who accidentally pulled the trigger of his gun.
"I'm sorry." Philip quickly defended himself, "I fell asleep. I've been on watch all day."
Bellamy clenched his jaw and gripped the top of Philip's jacket, pushing him against a three. "We've all been on watch all day! The bullet was one less dead grounder."
Gabriella stared at her co-leader with wide eyes, surprised by his outburst. Sure, she had seen him angry before but never like this.
"Bell," Octavia quickly chimed in, noticing Gabriella's hesitance to jump in, "you're scaring people."
"They should be scared!" Her older brother was quick to snap. He let Philip go and turned to the crowd surrounding him. "The bomb on the bridge bought us some time to prepare, but that time is up! The grounders are out there right now, waiting for us to leave and picking us off one by one when we do! Clarke, Finn, and Monty are gone, probably dead..."
Gabriella swallowed thickly at his words, gripping her fists tight enough to draw blood as she listened to his speech.
"...and if you want to be next, I can't stop you, but no guns are leaving this camp! This camp is the only thing keeping us alive!" Bellamy's eyes connected with Gabriella's teary ones as he spoke his next words, dismissing the crowd, "Get back to work!"
As she watched Bellamy storm away and back to his tent, Gabriella felt a presence behind her. She looked over her shoulder to see Wells looking down at her expectantly. "You gonna go calm him down or not?"
"Now why would I do that?" Gabriella drawled out, giving Wells an emotionless look.
"Because he trusts you." Wells shrugged as if it was the most obvious thing ever.
"Why do you even care?" Gabriella quickly changed the subject, turning around so she and Wells were standing face-to-face. She gave him a judgmental look. "Aren't you the one that left Monty alone?"
"You really think I wanted that?" Wells scoffs, shaking his head in frustration, "Don't you think I want to go after them too? I love Clarke and Finn and Monty are my friends."
"Really? Because it doesn't really look like you're doing anything that's gonna get the three of them back." Gabriella spat. She brushed past him without sparing him a second look.
-
"You know what will happen to me if you tell Bellamy."
Gabriella furrowed her eyebrows at the sound of Murphy's taunting voice coming from the walkie that was sitting on the table in the camp she, Raven, Monty, and Jasper reserved for building walking and radios.
She was about to ask what was going on when someone else with the third walkie beat her to it.
"Tell Bellamy what?"
Bellamy.
"Murphy has a gun. He killed Myles── "
Gabriella's eyes widened at Jasper's words and she was quick to grab her walkie and rush towards the dropship while speaking into the walkie.
"John, what the hell are you doing?"
Bellamy and Gabriella caught sight of each other at the same moment the dropship door closed. Bellamy instantly threw the cup of water from his hands and rushed towards the door, alongside Gabriella, in hopes of going inside and seeing what was happening before it closed. But they were too slow.
Gabriella banged on the dropship door in anger and frustration, both her and Bellamy calling John's name in the hope of figuring out what he was planning to do.
"Open the damn door!" Bellamy yelled, Murphy's little revenge fantasy only adding to his long list of problems.
"You try to be the hero, Jasper dies."
Gabriella's eyes opened in horror as she tried her hardest to fight back the tears threatening to spill from her eyes. That was not the John Murphy she fell for. That was someone who only cared about revenge. Someone that was willing to kill one of his closest friends to get what he wanted. Someone she did not recognize anymore.
-
The two remaining leaders of the hundred spent the entire night sitting outside of the dropship. Gabriella tried to make Murphy talk to her multiple times, but he did not budge. Bellamy tried to threaten him, but he still ignored them.
Gabriella has not been this terrified in a very long time. She did not know what Murphy was capable of at that moment. She did not know if he would actually have the guts to kill Jasper who was one of his only friends from The Ark.
Octavia emerged from one of the foxholes and made a B-line towards the two leaders. She panted as she caught her breath before speaking, panic obviously in her voice, "I just heard Murphy has Jasper."
"Yeah." Bellamy nodded, before asking. "South foxhole done?"
(Seriously? Gabriella thought bitterly. John has Jasper locked up and that's what he thinks about?)
"What?" Octavia asked exactly what Gabriella was thinking. "Bellamy, our friend is in there with a killer." She cast the blonde an apologetic glance. "No offense."
"None taken." Gabriella huffed, rubbing her palm over her face, too tired to be delusional about Murphy's murder attempts.
"O, look around." Bellamy started, looking around camp momentarily before looking back at his younger sister. "No one's working. If the grounders attack us right now, we're all dead."
Octavia ignored her brother's words and brushed past the two leaders to stand in front of the door, "Murphy! Murphy, if you even touch Jasper──"
"Octavia." Bellamy tried only for her to ignore him again.
"── I swear to god, you're dead."
"Octavia." Bellamy spoke, louder this time, "We got this."
"Really?" The brunette scoffed, "Because it doesn't look like you're doing anything about it."
Raven cut the argument off by approaching the trio. "Ella, you were right. There's a loose panel on the back. If one of us can pop it, we can get through the floor."
"Good." Gabriela sighed in relief, glad that they finally had a good plan. "You do that. I'm going to stay here, maybe try to keep him from doing anything stupid again."
Realization crossed Octavia's dirt-covered face and she looked down sheepishly, "Sorry."
Gabriella and Bellamy gave them a nod, before the latter picked up the walkie, trying to reach Murphy again. "Murphy, I know you can hear me. All our ammo and food is in the middle level. You know that. You're leaving us vulnerable to an attack. I can't let that happen."
"Yeah, well, in case you haven't noticed, you're not exactly in control right now."
Bellamy looked at Gabriella and let his shoulders slump in defeat. He hesitantly put the walkie to his mouth, "Come on, Murphy. You don't want to hurt Jasper, you want to hurt me."
Gabriella quickly realized what he was going to do and shook her head rapidly."No way ── "
Bellamy kept his gaze locked with the blonde's as he spoke his next words, which could possibly sign his life sentence, "So what do you say? How about you trade him for me?"
"No." Both Octavia and Gabriella said, the moment Bellamy put the walkie in his hand down, but he ignored both of them and spoke again.
"All you have to do is let him go and I'll take his place."
"How?" Murphy asked after a few moments of silence during which he was obviously debating what he was going to do.
"Bellamy." Octavia started, staring up at her brother pleadingly. "If you do this, he'll kill you."
"If I don't he'll kill Jasper."
"Bellamy, you can't seriously be considering this." Gabriella said, looking at her co-leader with a mix of disbelief and fear.
As much as the Kane hated to admit it, she needed him as much as she needed Clarke which meant that losing him was not an option.
"I am." Bellamy said simply, not giving her any room to fight as he spoke into the walkie again. "Simple. You open the door, I walk in, he walks out."
The dropship door started slowly opening as a sign Murphy accepted the offer. Bellamy passed his sister his walkie and started to make his way towards the dropship, only for Gabriella to grip his wrist tightly, almost afraid to let go. And she was, she had no idea what Murphy's plan was and she was scared of what could happen inside.
"You really don't want me to go in with you?" She asked, looking up at him, silently pleading for him to tell her he wanted her to go in. But it was possible it would end up worse if she did and they both knew it.
"We can't have all three leaders gone, Gabi." Bellamy said, his features softening slightly at the fear on the blonde's pale face.
"He won't hurt me."
"I'm not risking that." Bellamy quickly shook his head, surprising both of them with the speed of his response.
"Just..." Gabriella started, sighing softly. "be careful."
Bellamy chuckled, trying to ease the tension. "Don't worry, I won't hurt your little boyfriend too much."
"I'm talking about you." Gabriella corrected, making Bellamy's movements half. "I don't want you to get hurt."
"I appreciate the concern, Bambi." Bellamy said genuinely, smiling slightly, "But I got this."
Just as the last word came out of Bellamy's mouth, the dropship doors opened completely and Murphy's voice echoed through the camp, "Just you, Bellamy, unarmed. Ten seconds, or I'll put one in Jasper's leg."
"Take this." Bellamy said, quickly tugging his gun off his shoulder and passing it to Gabriella.
"We'll find a way to get you out of there. I promise." She told him, gripping his gun in her hand.
"You stay here. If I can't handle him, you're the only one who can. Now, get everyone back to work. The grounders are still coming." Those were Bellamy's last words before he turned around and walked into the dropship.
Not five seconds after Bellamy walked in, Jasper was being pushed out and the door was closing again. It took every cell in Gabriella's body not to run into the dropship. Instead of doing that, she helped Octavia untie Jasper and waited outside, hoping for the best.
-
"Do what I said." Murphy instructed after the first warning shot rang through the dropship, pointing to the red rope next to Bellamy's feet with the gun in his hands.
"Bellamy?" Came Gabriella's hesitant voice through the walkie, "Bellamy! Talk to me. Are you alright?"
"You want Queenie to know you're alive?" Murphy said, trying his best to keep his burning jealousy at bay. The man in front of him took everything from him. His freedom, his pride and his girl. "Start tying."
"Bellamy, do you copy?" That time it was Octavia's voice and it made Bellamy even more anxious.
"I'm fine." He said after he started tying. "Just a misfire. Now stop worrying about me and get back to work, all of you. And tell Raven to hurry her ass up."
"All right, that's long enough. Tie those two ends together." Murphy instructed, making Bellamy drop the walkie from his jades and do as he was told.
Once he was done, Murphy spoke up again, "All right. Now get up and toss it over."
At that moment it finally dawned on Bellamy what Murphy was planning. He wanted to hang him, just like he did with him. He swallowed thickly before tossing the tied rope up and facing Murphy again, "What do you want me to say? You want me to apologize? I'm─ I'm sorry."
"You got it all wrong, Bellamy. I don't want you to say anything. I want you to feel what I felt, and then...then I want you to die." Murphy said, glaring daggers at Bellamy.
"Is this about, Gabi?" Bellamy asked, noticing how Murphy's jaw tightened at just the mention of the girl he obviously has feelings for. "Nothing happened, okay? She doesn't feel anything for me. But she does for you. Are you really gonna do this to ── "
"Shut up." Murphy barked, tightening his grip on the gun in his hands. "We're not here to talk about girls. Now pull the stool under the rope and stand on it."
Once Bellamy did what he told him to, the red rope was right in front of his face. It was at this moment that he started to lose hope until Gabriella's voice was heard from the walkie on the floor.
"John?"
Her voice was soft and pleading, making him stiffen instantly.
"I know you can hear me. You don't have to do this, okay? Don't hurt him and everything will be fine. Everything will go back to the way it was. Just don't hurt him."
His stomach was heavy with envy at how quick Gabriella was to defend Bellamy and plead for him not to kill him. But a part of him also melted at her words, sensing the sadness and desperation in her tone. She did not want to be the only one left standing. She did not want to lead the delinquents through the war alone.
He held eye contact with Bellamy, to make sure he didn't move. Then, he picked up the walking and spoke into it with an apologetic tone. "I don't have a choice, Ellie."
"Yes you do." She responded stubbornly. "Just care about me more than you hate him. We'll figure it out, together. As long as you let him go."
"I'm sorry, Ellie." Murphy sighed. "But that's not gonna happen."
And just like that, the walkie was smashed into pieces when Murphy dropped it on the floor as hard as he could. He aimed his gun back at Bellamy, who was looking at him in disgust.
"This is insane." Bellamy started. "The grounders could ── "
Murphy cut off his pleading by shooting a gun at the fall nonchalantly, successfully shutting the older boy up.
"Put it over your head." He instructed, twirling the red rope in his hand.
Bellamy huffed and followed his instructions. "Happy now?"
Murphy tugged the rope, making Bellamy stumble a bit. He chuckled at the sight, "You're so brave aren't you? I mean, you came in here thinking you were just gonna turn this whole thing around, that you were stronger than me, and maybe one of your friends would come and help you. Well, what do you think now, Bellamy? Hm?"
Bellamy desperately gripped the rope around his neck and tried to keep his feet on the stool when the boy in front of him started tugging it faster.
"You know. I gotta hand it to you, Bellamy." Murphy taunted, "You got 'em all fooled. They actually look up to you, almost as much as they look up to Ellie and Clarke. Yeah, well, we know the truth, don't we? You're a coward. I learned that the day you kicked out the crate from beneath me. What did you say, again? That you were just giving the people what they wanted, right?"
"I should have stopped them." Bellamy admitted. I should have listened to her.
"Yeah, it's a little too late for that now."
"You think they're just gonna let you walk out of here?" Bellamy asked, trying to stall and give Raven a chance to get the door opened.
"Well, I think the princess is dead...but I know the king's about to die, so who's really gonna those people, huh?"
"You're forgetting about Gabi." Bellamy was quick to say, knowing that he would hit a nerve but also saying the truth. "You know, the only person that somehow saw through your psychopath facade when everyone else gave up on you. But you know you're gonna lose her as soon as you walk out if you kill me."
Murphy tried to look unfazed by his words but gripped the rope tighter and spoke as if Bellamy did not say anything, "Maybe I'd have to kill your grounder-pounding little sister ── "
Bellamy anger flared at the bare mention of his sister's life being in danger and he tried to kick Murphy with his feet but it only made him lose balance and almost fall. Murphy relaxed his hold on the rope when there was a yelp heard from under the floor. He smirked coyly. "I'm guessing that's her right now."
Much to Bellamy's dismay, Murphy started shooting blindly at the floor until he ran out of bullets. He panicked when he saw he ran out and kicked the stool from under Bellamy.
Noticing Bellamy was trying to breathe by holding his hands between the rope and his throat, Murphy tugged on the rope again. "Using your hands is a cheat. Mine were bound, remember?"
Bellamy was just starting to turn blue when the dropship door let out a loud creak and started to open.
"Raven, you did it!" Jasper's voice was heard outside.
Murphy started panicking and rushed to the upper level of the dropship when Gabriella, Octavia, and Jasper barged into the dropship.
-
Gabriella's eyes widened at the sight of Bellamy hanging from the dropship ceiling by a red rope and did not hesitate even a second before she took her axe out of the waistband of her jeans and cut him down.
Bellamy grunted in pain as soon as his body hit the floor and Octavia was quick to get on the floor, right above his head, and take the rope off his neck. "Bell, breathe. Breathe."
"Can you breathe?" Jasper asked, looking at his leader in concern.
When Bellamy took a deep breath of air, all three of them sighed in relief.
"Good. You're okay. You're okay." Octavia cooed.
"Wells, Raven, he's fine." Jasper yelled to the duo, who were still under the dropship.
As soon as Bellamy caught his breath, he got to his feet, ignoring Gabriella's attempts to stop him, and rushed to the hatch that led to the second floor.
"Murphy!" He yelled, "Murphy! It's over."
He grunted and started climbing up on the ladder, still yelling Murphy's name in anger. Gabriella watched as he failed to open the hatch and pleaded, "John! Open the door!"
"There's only one way out of this for you now!" Bellamy threatened, banging on the hatch.
All four of them on the first floor are startled when a loud explosion is heard from the second floor. The explosion must have gotten the hatch open since the next time Gabriella looked at Bellamy, he was opening it and climbing up to the second floor.
Gabriella quickly followed him up and almost choked on the amount of smoke that filled her lungs. The smoke makes her vision blurry but she's still able to see that all the gunpowder is gone and there's a huge hole in the wall, with Murphy nowhere in sight.
Jasper came in between Gabriella and Bellamy, who were staring at Murphy's blurry figure running away through the woods.
"The guy knows how to make an exit." Jasper comments, making both present leaders give him a deadpan look. "Should we go after him?" Jasper asked them after a moment of silence.
"No. Grounders will take care of Murphy." Bellamy was quick to shake his head, trying his hardest to ignore Gabriella's crestfallen expression.
"We're going after Clarke, Finn, and Monty." Bellamy started, surprising both Gabriella and Jasper. He held eye contact with Gabriella and added, "You were right. We don't abandon our own." Then he turned to Jasper and said "Two guns...you and me. That's it."
"Like hell." Gabriella scoffed. "I'm going with you."
"Now you're pushing it." Bellamy rolled his eyes. "You'll stay here with Raven to build up defenses. We lost a day because of this, and our gunpowder."
Gabriella's shoulder slumped in defeat, knowing he was right but still not feeling comfortable with him and Jasper going out there alone.
Bellamy turned around to make his way down when Jasper stopped him. "Bellamy, wait." The curly-headed man looked at him expectantly and Jasper let out a nervous breath. "Look, I just..."
Jasper could not find the right words to say 'thank you' so he wrapped his arms around Bellamy's shoulder and pulled him into a hug instead. Bellamy froze while Jasper whispered "thank you" and looked at Gabriella with a mix of panic and confusion.
Despite the situation they were in, Gabriella smiled faintly at the scene and bit back a chuckle, amused by the panic on Bellamy's face. The eldest Blake patted Jasper's back awkwardly.
Jasper pulled away and grinned. "Long way from 'whatever the hell you want'."
Bellamy let out a breathy chuckle but Miller's voice from the walkie broke up the moment. "All gunners! We got movement outside the south wall!"
The trio on the second floor shared a look before they sprinted outside of the dropship.
"Wait!" Miller yelled at the gunners ready to shoot. "Hold your fire! It's Clarke and Finn! Open the gate!"
Gabriella waited for the teenagers to open the door and let out a sigh of relief when Clarke came into camp with Finn behind her. The Kane did not waste a second to pull her best friend into a bone-crushing hug. Clarke stumbled backward a bit but wrapped her arms around the older girl's waist, letting out a sigh of relief herself.
Once they pulled away Clarke looked at the girl in front of her in confusion. "Hey, we heard an explosion. What happened?"
"Murphy happened." Bellamy answered for Gabriella, knowing she definitely did not want to talk about what happened a couple of moments earlier.
Jasper jogged towards Clarke and pulled her into a hug. "Thank god! Where have you been? Where's Monty?"
"Monty's gone?" Clarke asked, gaping in surprise.
Gabriella did not get a chance to panic because Finn spoke up from behind Clarke. "Clarke, we need to leave, now. All of us do. There's an army of grounders, unlike anything we've ever seen, coming for us right now. We need to pack what we can and run."
"You want us to run?" Gabriella scoffed, "We knew this was coming and we're not gonna run like a bunch of cowards to save our own ass."
"Ella," Octavia called out, "we're not prepared."
"And they're not here yet. We still have time to get ready. Besides, where would we go? Where would we be safer than behind these walls?" Bellamy exclaimed, backing Gabriella up.
"There's an ocean to the east. People there will help us." Finn said, making Octavia snap her attention to him.
"You saw Lincoln."
"Yeah." Finn nodded and Bellamy could not help but scoff at his words.
"You expect us to trust a grounder?"
"Especially after our people locked him up and tortured him." Gabriella agreed, "He led us into a trap last time. What makes you think this isn't another one?"
Bellamy nodded at her words before turning to the crowd of teenagers around them. "This is our home now. We built this from nothing with our bare hands! Our dead are buried behind that wall in this ground! Our ground! The grounders think they can take that away. They think that because we came from the sky, we don't belong here. But they're yet to realize one very important fact; We are on the ground now, and that means we are grounders!"
While Gabriella grinned in agreement, the other delinquents let out a bunch of 'yeah's' and Miller added, "Grounders with guns!"
"Damn right!" Bellamy exclaimed, "I say let 'em come!"
"Bellamy's right." Clarke cut in, making all attention turn to her. "If we leave, we may never find a place as safe as this. And god knows, in this world, we could be faced with something even worse tomorrow. But that doesn't change the simple fact that if we stay here, we will die tonight. So pack your things. Just take what you can carry, now."
When she was done with her speech, Clarke turned towards her two co-leaders with an apologetic look.
"You can't be serious." Gabriella said, shaking her head.
"I am." Clarke said, biting her lip. "If we stay here we die."
"But at least we die fighting." Gabriella was quick to shoot back and she was ready to keep arguing when Wells' weak voice caught her attention.
She turned around to see him trying to carry a half-conscious Raven in his hands. She rushed towards the pair, Clarke, Finn, Bellamy, and Jasper following right behind her.
"What happened?" Clarke asked, her eyes wide in horror.
"Murphy shot them." Jasper told her, noticing blood on Wells' shoulder.
Finn swiftly took Raven into his arms and Clarke grabbed Wells' shoulder to stop the bleeding. The Griffin hurriedly ordered Finn, "Get her onto the dropship."
Everyone except the three leaders headed inside and Bellamy looked down at Clarke with a stoic expression. "Clarke, leaving here is a mistake."
"The decision has been made." Clarke stated simply.
"God, you're acting like such a hypocrite right now." Gabriella scoffed and glared at her friend. "If all three of us are leading this camp and the two of us want us to stay then we're supposed to stay. This isn't absolutism. You can't decide everything by yourself."
Clarke looked taken aback by the attitude in Gabriella's voice but quickly recovered and met her with an emotionless expression. "The people made the decision. I'm just making this easier for all of us."
"Crowds make bad decisions." Bellamy chimed in. "Just ask Murphy. Leaders do what they think is right."
"I am."
Gabriella and Bellamy watched Clarke walk into the dropship with defeated looks on their faces. Bellamy let out a sigh, "This is why you're my favorite."

𖠰 weathering the storm
Tumblr media Tumblr media
𖠰 paring: bellamy blake x fem!reader
𖠰 summary: sent on a rescue mission, bellamy and the reader are stranded and when acid rain hits, it forces them into the rover. as the storm rages outside, another brews between them. one they can’t outrun, no matter how hard they try.
𖠰 warnings: smut!! (mdni), set in s4, sexual tension, best friends to lovers, y/n Kane, teasing, p in v, fingering, idiots in love, rover sex, acid rain, dirty talk, bell’s been a simp for the reader since day 1, wrap it b4 you tap it bc they don’t.
𖠰 word count: 5k
Tumblr media
The rover rumbled over the uneven terrain, bouncing with every dip in the road. The forest stretched endlessly on either side, thick with towering trees that blocked most of the sunlight. What little light broke through flickered across the dashboard, painting shifting patterns across the cracked leather. The air was dense with the scent of damp earth and pine, and despite the tension of being on patrol, there was something almost peaceful about the steady hum of the engine and the rhythmic movement of the vehicle.
At least, it would have been peaceful—if not for Bellamy. “You ever gonna take your feet off my dash, or is this just how it’s gonna be now?” he asked, casting a sidelong glance at you.
You smirked, not even bothering to move your boot from where it was comfortably propped up. “I dunno. I kinda like it here.”
Bellamy huffed a laugh. “Of course you do. Just like you like ignoring the actual purpose of patrol and letting me do all the work.”
“I’m scanning the trees, aren’t I?” You gestured toward the dense forest outside. “I don’t see you keeping an eye out for grounders or rogue scavengers.”
“I’m driving,” he pointed out.
You hummed. “So, I guess that means I should be the one making sure we don’t run into anything.”
Bellamy snorted. “If we get ambushed, you’re the first one I’m throwing out as bait.”
You placed a dramatic hand over your chest. “Wow. That’s so touching. And here I thought we were best friends.”
Bellamy smirked, shaking his head. “Best friends who get each other killed, apparently.”
You chuckled, settling deeper into your seat. Moments like these weren’t uncommon between you and Bellamy. Ever since the drop ship had landed on Earth, you’d gone from barely tolerating each other to being inseparable. At first, you’d clashed. His reckless leadership, your stubborn defiance, both of you constantly butting heads. But somewhere along the way, arguments had turned into mutual respect. Respect had turned into friendship. And now…
Now, you weren’t entirely sure what it was.
Because there were moments like now—where his smirks lingered just a second too long, where his teasing carried an edge of something softer. Moments where his presence felt too comfortable, too familiar. Moments where you had to remind yourself that he was your best friend, nothing more.
Even if sometimes, it felt like he could be. But before you could dwell on it, static crackled through the radio.
Bellamy sighed, reaching for the receiver. “Go ahead.”
“This is Kane,” your father’s voice came through, sharp and clear. “We need you two to divert from your patrol.”
You straightened, instantly on alert.
Bellamy exchanged a glance with you before responding, “What’s going on?”
“One of the kids from the hundred, Talia—went out on a supply run this morning. She hasn’t reported back.”
Your stomach tightened. Talia. She was one of the original delinquents. The ones who had landed with you, Bellamy, and Clarke. The ones you had sworn to protect.
Bellamy sat up a little straighter, all humor from before fading. “How long has she been missing?”
“Long enough,” Kane said. “Her last radio check-in was hours ago. We need you to find her before nightfall.”
You didn’t hesitate. “We’re on it.”
The radio cut out and Bellamy was already turning the rover around. His grip on the wheel was tight, his expression set in stone. You could see it—the weight settling over him, the same way it always did when it came to your people.
“We’ll find her,” you said, quieter now.
Bellamy nodded once, jaw clenched. “Yeah. We have to.”
Tumblr media
The journey toward Talia’s last known location wasn’t easy. The roads were rough, the ground still damp from the last storm. The rover jolted with every deep groove in the earth, and navigating the terrain was like playing a dangerous game of chance. You had just started to think you might actually make it without issue when the wheels suddenly spun out.
The rover lurched forward before sinking deep into the mud with a sickening squelch. The engine growled as Bellamy tried to gun the throttle, but the tires only spun, flinging wet earth into the air.
“Shit,” Bellamy muttered, gripping the wheel tighter. He tried again. Nothing.
You exhaled, already unbuckling your seatbelt. “Tell me we’re not stuck.”
Bellamy muttered another curse before shutting off the engine. “We’re stuck.”
You pushed open the door, immediately sinking up to your ankles in the mud. “Great.”
Bellamy got out of the rover, boots squelching in the thick sludge and came over to your side. He ran a hand through his hair, glancing at the tires. The rover was buried deep, way too deep to just drive out of.
“We’re gonna have to dig it out,” you said.
Bellamy let out a sharp breath. “Yeah. Because that’s totally gonna work.”
You shot him a look. “You got a better idea?”
He hesitated, rubbing his forehead. He was stressed, and you could tell. His shoulders were tense and his jaw was set. You knew that look. He was already thinking about how they were wasting time. How every second spent here was a second Talia could be in danger.
“Hey,” you said, softer now. “We’ll get it out.”
Bellamy exhaled, nodding. “I know. Just—let’s hurry.”
You grabbed a branch, hoping to use it as a makeshift shovel, and started working at the mud around the tires. Bellamy did the same, his hands digging into the thick, wet earth.
But then the first drop fell. It landed on the back of your hand and a sharp, burning pain followed immediately. You hissed at the pain but before you could react, Bellamy hissed from beside you.
You quickly lifted your gaze up to the sky, but as you did it seemed like the sky opened up. Within seconds that one tiny drop of rain turned into thousands, all sending sharp burning sensations wherever the rain hit your body. The pain was instant and agonizing. You'd never felt something like this before.
“Acid rain—” Bellamy’s voice barely cut through the the storm. You barely sucked in a breath before Bellamy grabbed your wrist, yanking you toward the rover. “Go! Go!” His voice was sharp, urgent, but the pain was worse. Your clothes were already smoking, the rain eating through the fabric like it was nothing. The rover was just a few feet away, but every step was agony. Your boots sunk into the mud, legs straining as the downpour pummeled your body. Bellamy reached the door first, swinging it open before practically shoving you inside.
You barely got into the back before he was scrambling in after you, slamming the door shut behind him. For a moment, there was only the sound of your ragged breathing, the storm raging outside. But the burning was agonizing.
“Shit.” Bellamy’s voice was tight, hoarse, his hands already yanking at his soaked jacket. “Get it off—now!”
You didn’t need to be told twice. Your jacket hit the floor in an instant, but it wasn’t enough. The acid had already soaked through, searing into your skin. Your hands trembled as you fumbled with your shirt, trying to tear it off as quickly as possible.
Across from you, Bellamy was doing the same—his fingers clawing at his shirt, desperate to rid himself of the burning fabric. His skin was red, raw, and he winced as he ripped the material over his head.
You weren’t fast enough. Your shirt was sticking to your skin, the acid making it cling. You hissed in pain as you struggled to pull it over your head, heart pounding.
Bellamy barely hesitated. “Here.” His hands were suddenly there, fingers brushing yours, helping tug the fabric over your arms. The second it was off, you sucked in a sharp breath, blinking through the sting.
But it wasn’t enough. The pain was still crawling across your body, and your pants—
“Off—get them off,” Bellamy ordered, already working at his own belt.
You weren’t thinking, just moving. Doing anything possible to get the burning sensation to go away. Your fingers fumbled at the button of your pants, struggling with the wet fabric, legs shaking as you pushed them down. Your boots were still on, but you barely registered the difficulty as you kicked them off, peeling away the last of the soaked material.
Bellamy was just as frantic, shoving his jeans down, breath coming in sharp, pained bursts. His skin was littered with burns, deep red patches where the acid had already started eating through.
The air inside the rover was thick and hot despite the chill outside. You were both half-undressed, bare skin stinging, breaths coming too fast.
Water. Your hands scrambled for your canteen, popping the cap off with shaking fingers before tilting it over your arms, letting the water wash over your burns. You barely registered the way Bellamy did the same, tipping his flask over his chest, water dripping down his skin, mixing with the remnants of acid.
For a long moment, there was nothing but heavy breathing and the storm howling outside.
Bellamy exhaled sharply, leaning back against the seat, chest still rising and falling rapidly. He ran a hand through his soaked curls, muttering something under his breath before finally glancing at you. His eyes trace the curve of your jaw, the way a stray lock of hair clings to your damp skin and he swallows hard, his gaze traveling lower to your chest. Shaking out of whatever trance he's in, he quickly looks away with his jaw set tight.
“Well,” he rasped, voice rough. “That was fun.”
You huffed a breathless laugh, weak but there. “Yeah. Let’s do it again sometime.”
Bellamy let out something between a chuckle and a groan, rubbing a hand down his face. He shifted slightly, and you caught the way his muscles tensed—probably still feeling the sting of the burns. You weren’t much better. Still feeling the uncomfortable tingles shooting through your body.
For a long moment, neither of you spoke. Just sat there, bodies humming with adrenaline, skin still damp from rain and water. The tension was thick but not just from what had happened, but from the way you had just stripped in front of each other, so frantic for relief that nothing else had mattered.
Your pulse pounded in your ears as your eyes flickered to Bellamy, still catching his breath across from you. His skin was still damp water clinging to him that traced the defined lines of his abs. For a second you just watched the way his chest rose and fell but noticed the burns that stood out on his tanned skin.
It wasn't until your gaze trailed back up that you realized he was watching you. Dark eyes locked onto yours with an intensity that made your breath hitch. Heat instantly crept up your neck, and you ripped your gaze away, praying he couldn't see the way your cheeks tinted pink.
You exhaled slowly, pressing your back against the cold metal of the rover, your damp skin still tingling from the burns. The air inside was thick and humid from the steam rising off your bodies, the leftover sting of the acid rain making every breath feel weighted.
Across from you, Bellamy shifted, leaning forward to grab the radio. His shoulders were tense, jaw set as he twisted the dial, static crackling through the speaker. His fingers tightened around the radio before he tried again. “Arkadia, do you read me?”
The only response was more static. Bellamy sighed through his nose, setting the radio down with a little too much force. “Perfect.”
“Nothing?” you asked, even though you already knew the answer.
Bellamy shook his head, scrubbing a hand through his damp curls before leaning back against his seat. “Signal’s dead. Either the storm’s messing with it, or we’re too far out.”
You glanced out the window. The rain still came down in thick sheets, obscuring the trees beyond the windshield. You couldn’t see much, but you knew that you weren't getting out of there anytime soon.
“So, we’re stuck.”
Bellamy’s lips pressed into a tight line. “Yeah.”
You exhaled, tilting your head back against the seat. “Great. Love that for us.”
“You did say you wanted to get out of Arkadia.”
Your head snapped toward him, brow lifting. “Oh, really? That’s the angle you’re taking?”
Bellamy smirked, but it was faint, exhaustion weighing down his features. “Hey, I’m just saying—you got your wish.”
“Right. Because sitting in a half-broken rover, practically naked, covered in burns is exactly what I had in mind.”
“Could be worse.”
“Oh?” You shot him a look. “Enlighten me.”
Bellamy shrugged. “Could’ve been a grounder attack.”
You rolled your eyes. “Fantastic. I’ll be sure to count my blessings.”
Despite everything, Bellamy chuckled—a quiet, tired sound that sent a strange warmth through your chest.
Silence settled between you again, heavier this time. Neither of you mentioned the fact that you were still sitting there, half-undressed, bare skin marked with fresh burns. The only warmth in the rover was the heat radiating off your own bodies, but that didn’t help much when the damp air still clung to you.
You rubbed at your arms, trying to chase away the chill creeping over your skin. The acid rain had burned, but now that the immediate pain was dulling, the cold was seeping in fast.
But Bellamy noticed. “Come here.”
Your breath caught slightly at the sudden shift in his tone, still rough, still Bellamy, but softer.
You hesitated, but only for a second before you sighed, pushing off your seat and scooting closer. Bellamy met you halfway, slinging an arm around your shoulders and pulling you in. His skin was still warm, muscles tense beneath the burns, but the heat was comforting.
You exhaled, letting yourself lean against him, your cheek resting against his shoulder. “This is the worst patrol ever.”
Bellamy huffed out a laugh. “Yeah. Definitely not my favorite.”
You turned your head slightly, just enough to look at him. A small smirk tugged at your lips before a quiet sigh escaped you. “How long do you think the rain will last?”
His fingers traced absent patterns against your arm, his voice lower when he answered. “No way to know. Could be hours.”
You groaned. “Fantastic.”
Bellamy didn’t respond right away. His hand stilled against your skin, his thumb brushing over one of the raw patches left by the rain. You inhaled sharply at the sensation, not from pain, but from something else entirely. Something you really didn’t want to name.
Your eyes flickered to his, only to find that Bellamy was already watching you, his expression unreadable in the dim light of the rover.
The space between you had already been small, but now it felt thicker, charged with something you had spent too long ignoring. His gaze dropped, just for a second to your lips, before flicking back up.
You swallowed.
Bellamy’s fingers twitched against your skin, like he wanted to move, to do something, to close the already small space between you. But as the storm raged on outside, the relentless drumming of the acid rain against the rover’s roof the only sound filling the silence between you. Everything still burned, the raw patches of skin tingling from where the acid had touched.
You exhaled, shifting slightly beside him. “You okay?”
Bellamy let out a breath, glancing down at you. “Yeah. You?”
You nodded. “Still breathing.”
A small smirk tugged at his lips, but it didn’t quite reach his eyes. He leaned his head back against the rover, staring at the ceiling. “I can’t believe we’re here,” he muttered after a moment.
You turned to look at him. “What do you mean?”
He let out a quiet laugh, shaking his head. “Just… all of this. You and me. Trapped in a damn rover, half-naked, cuddling, soaked, waiting for acid rain to stop falling from the sky.” He glanced at you, something unreadable flickering in his gaze. “It’s a hell of a long way from where we started.”
You softened, understanding settling over you. “Yeah,” you murmured. “It is.”
Bellamy huffed. “I mean, we hated each other when we landed.”
You couldn’t help but smirk. “I wouldn’t say hated.”
He gave you a pointed look. “Oh, come on. You couldn’t stand me.”
You chuckled, shrugging. “Yeah, well. You were an arrogant ass.”
His mouth twitched, but he nodded. “Fair. But you weren’t exactly easy to deal with either.”
You raised a brow. “You mean when I was trying to keep everyone alive while you were busy playing King of the Delinquents?”
Bellamy groaned. “Okay, fine, I made some bad calls.”
You nudged him with your knee. “Some?”
He let out a breathy laugh. “Alright, a lot.” He shook his head, eyes flickering back to yours. “But then… I don’t know. Somewhere along the way, we figured it out. Became friends.”
“Best friends,” you corrected softly.
Bellamy’s gaze lingered on you, something warm settling in his expression. “Yeah,” he murmured. “Best friends.”
Silence stretched between you, but it wasn’t uncomfortable. It was full of something else—something you both felt but never said. You swallowed, glancing down at your hands. “Crazy how things change, huh?”
Bellamy tilted his head, studying you. “Yeah.” His voice was quieter now, more careful. “Crazy.”
For a moment, neither of you moved. The rain outside continued to fall, trapping you here in this moment—one you weren’t sure you were ready to leave. A sudden shiver ran down your spine before you could stop it. The cold air inside the rover clung to your damp skin, making you tense. Before you could even think about shifting closer to Bellamy, he beat you to it. His arm tightened around you, pulling you flush against him. His warmth wrapped around you instantly, his bare skin pressed firmly against yours. You let out a small breath, tilting your head slightly against his shoulder as he murmured, “You’re freezing.”
You almost laughed at that. “Kinda hard not to be.”
Bellamy huffed, his chest rising against yours. “Come here,” he said, his voice softer now, rougher somehow, like the way he spoke when he was trying not to feel too much. You didn’t fight it, didn't even hesitate. You let yourself sink into him, your fingers lightly resting against his ribs as you exhaled.
But when you finally looked up at him, everything changed. His dark gaze was already on you, and for a second, neither of you moved. Neither of you spoke. Bellamy’s grip on you tightened, his fingers pressing into your skin like he was trying to ground himself. His expression shifted, something unreadable flickering behind his eyes. His brows drew together just slightly, like he was trying to figure something out but then his gaze dropped.
To your lips. It was quick. Barely a second, but you saw it.
His breath hitched, his jaw tensing as his eyes flickered back up to yours. Then down again and then back. You couldn’t think. Hell you could barely even breathe. He looked at you like you were the only thing in the world that mattered. Like he was memorizing every inch of your face, every part of this moment, because somehow, deep down, he knew he’d never be able to forget it.
Bellamy swallowed hard, his grip on you unmoving, his body still frozen, except for his fingers. They twitched against your side, like he wanted to move, to do something, to close the already small space between you. You felt it, the hesitation, the war waging in his mind. You should’ve pulled away. Should’ve cracked a joke, did something to break the tension, but you didn’t. You just watched him.
His breaths were shallow, slower now, his gaze fixed on yours in a way that made your stomach clench. The storm outside was deafening, rain pounding against the metal of the rover, but inside, everything felt still—like time had narrowed down to just this. Just him.
Your heart slammed against your ribs when Bellamy’s hand finally moved, sliding down from your arm to settle at your waist. His touch was barely there, like he wasn’t sure if you’d let him. You didn’t stop him. His fingertips pressed lightly into your skin, an unspoken question hanging in the space between you. You could feel the heat of his body against yours, could see the way his jaw tensed, like he was trying to talk himself out of whatever was about to happen.
And you? You were done pretending. Swallowing past the lump in your throat, you lifted a hand, fingers ghosting along his forearm before trailing up over his shoulder. Bellamy inhaled sharply, and for the first time in a long time, you saw something in his eyes that wasn’t guarded.
He wanted this. Wanted you.
“Bell—”
He moved before you could say anything else. His forehead brushed against yours, the tip of his nose barely grazing yours as his breath fanned across your lips. Your skin still ached from the acid burns, but none of it mattered. Not when his hand tightened slightly at your waist. Not when you felt the weight of his body leaning closer, like he couldn’t help himself.
“Tell me to stop,” Bellamy murmured, voice low, rough.
You exhaled shakily, your fingers curling around the back of his neck. “I don’t want you to.”
And that was all it took, Bellamy closed the distance, his lips pressing against yours in a way that stole every thought from your mind. There was no hesitation anymore, no second-guessing—just heat.
His hand at your waist pulled you closer, his fingers sliding over your bare skin, leaving a trail of warmth in their wake. Your free hand tangled in his hair, nails scraping lightly against his scalp, and the quiet sound he made against your lips sent a shiver down your spine.
The kiss deepened, slow and desperate all at once. Like neither of you could believe this was happening, but neither of you wanted it to stop. The storm raged on outside, but inside, all you could hear was the sound of your breaths mingling, the quiet, needy gasps escaping between kisses.
Bellamy pulled back just enough to look at you, his forehead still pressed to yours. His eyes were darker now, filled with something intense, something he wasn’t even trying to hide anymore.
“You have no idea how long I’ve wanted to do that,” he admitted, his voice almost shaky.
Your heart pounded against your ribs, and for a split second, you could only stare at him, wide-eyed, breathless. But before you could even think of a response, his lips were back on yours—this time hungrier, more desperate.
A small gasp escaped you, but you didn’t pull away. You couldn’t. Bellamy’s hands slid up your sides, fingers splayed against your bare skin, warm and grounding. His grip tightened, like he was afraid you’d disappear, like he needed to make sure this was real.
You melted into him, your hands pressing against his chest before trailing up, curling around the back of his neck. He groaned softly against your lips, his body pressing closer, heat rolling off him despite the chill in the rover. And neither of you stopped, you couldn’t.
Bellamy’s hands tightened around your waist, fingers pressing into your skin like he couldn’t bear to let you go. You felt his heartbeat hammering against your palm where it rested on his chest, matching the wild rhythm of your own.
A soft whimper slipped from you as his teeth grazed your bottom lip, and that was it. That was all it took. Before you knew it, you were shifting, moving without thinking, your knees pressing into cold metal as you climbed onto his lap. Bellamy barely had time to react before you were straddling him, your legs bracketing his hips, your chest pressed against his.
His breath hitched, but then his hands were gripping your waist, pulling you closer—like you weren’t already impossibly close. Like he still needed more.
“Shit,” he breathed against your lips, voice rough, almost wrecked. His hands slid up your sides, over the bare expanse of your back, leaving trails of heat in their wake. You shivered, but not from the cold.
Bellamy kissed you like he was starved for it, like this was something he’d been craving for so long that now that he had it, he wasn’t sure he’d ever be able to stop.
You tangled your fingers in his damp curls, tugging him closer, and he groaned into your mouth, his hands gripping your hips tighter. The air between you grew thick, charged with something you’d both been holding back for far too long. A groan of satisfaction rumbles through his chest as you let out a small moan, having felt him hard beneath you.
His large hands glide up and gently cup your face, keeping you close as you start to gently rock your hips down onto his, testing the waters. A loud groan escapes Bellamy's lips as the friction was something he'd been needing. The next time you rolled your hips down, he quickly met you, thrusting his own hips up.
"That's it, fuck." Bellamy panted, the air inside the rover quickly turning into hot and thick. "Been dreaming about you since we first landed."
His words only filled the heat pooling in your core but before you could muster up enough strength to say anything else, you let out a yelp as your back hit the cold metal of the rover.
Bellamy's mouth was back on yours and he kiss you like he'd been starved. You sigh into the kiss as his hands trail down your body, mapping every inch of skin his fingers touch. As Bellamy plants messy kisses from your mouth, trailing down to your jaw, he finally lands at the soft skin of your neck. You let out a small moan as he sucks on the area he found the most sensitive, having found it surprisingly fast.
"Bell-" You try to tell him what you need but stop short as his hand cups your heat.
"So fucking wet for me already?" Bellamy's rasped, his breath sending a shiver down your spine as his lips brushed the shell of your ear.
"Please, Bell-" you started to beg but let out a moan as Bellamy slipped his fingers past your soaked panties and slipped a finger inside you. The gasp that left your lips was quickly covered up by Bellamy's mouth attaching yours. And as if one finger wasn't enough he slipped the second in right after, both fingers worked in and out of your heat, causing sparks to shoot through your body. Your brows scrunched as you could feel the coil in your stomach heating up, waiting and begging to be released.
"God, you're so much tighter than I imagined." Bellamy breathed, "So perfect."
Your head lolled to the side as Bellamy attacked your neck, leaving kisses and sucking at the sensitive areas.
"Come for me, baby." His gruff voice caused you to shiver, quickly rocking your hips down onto his hands for more friction. "Such a mess for me already. Can't wait to have you come around my cock."
His words sent you over the edge. A loud moan rips through the rover as he continues to help you ride out your high. You barely even caught your breath before the tip of his length was teasing you, causing a whimper to escape from your lips.
"Bell quit teasing, I need you inside me." You whined, causing a smirk to appear on Bellamy's lips.
"God, I love it when you beg." Bellamy admitted but didn't geive you enough time to make a sarcastic comment before he slowly thrust himself inside of you. You instantly let out a loan moan when he bottomed out. The feeling of him inside you was euphoric and his large hands gripped the sides of your thighs. You met him each time he thrusted into you, wanting nothing more than the delicious feeling to never end.
"I've wanted you for so long." Bellamy admitted, "ever since your sexy, sarcastic, and bossy self threatened my plans."
"Me too." You admitted, having remembered the first day on the ground when you and Bellamy stood toe to toe, exchanging insults and threats. The two of you absolutely despised each other.
Bellamy was trying to save him own ass at the time and you were trying to help Clarke keep the rest of the 100 alive. It didn't help that you were also Marcus Kane's daughter. "One of the privileged." As Bellamy put it. But quickly the two of you found common ground, setting aside your differences. Clarke was furious with you at first for trusting Bellamy but she too eventually realized that he wasn't a bad guy.
Bellamy let out some low growl, his pace picking up. "Such a good girl. Taking me so well. This pussy was made for me."
The words only spurred you on, grinding down on him as you started to moan his name over and over again in his ear. "I'm so close, Bell" You admitted, that familiar coil tightening in the base of your stomach.
"Come with me." Bellamy's hips met yours in a more sloppy, erratic pattern and you knew he was close too.
You moaned his name over and over again like a prayer as the coil finally snapped. Your walls clenched around Bellamy's dick as you came, causing his own orgasm to follow.
As the two of you finally came down from your highs, your breathing erratic as you tried to catch your breaths, Bellamy's forehead rested ontop of yours. As he finally caught his breath, he looked down at you. A soft smile spread across his lips and his eye lids stayed hooded. He felt drunk.
"I love you." Bellamy admitted, causing your breath to hitch.
Your eyes trailed over his face, watching as he kept his soft gaze on your swollen lips. Your eyes danced around his face memorizing each freckle littering his skin. "I love you too, Bell."

author’s note:
Yes, I am very aware of the fact that bell and the reader fucked instead of helping poor Talia out. For their sake let’s just say they ended up getting out and rescuing her, LMFAO.
Anyways, this was my very first Bellamy fic! Ahh! I’m so excited to post this! Bell was my very first tv/celeb crush and it’s kind of sentimental for me. He’s the reason I got into reading fanfics and now I’m writing them. CRAZY.
If you guys would like more Bellamy fics let me know! I’m excited to write for him!
