mutuals help me out how the FUCK do i classify the human centipede: first sequence (2009)

i believe it is both well-made on a purely technical level (excellent cinematography, concept, scoring, acting, ending, atmosphere, set design, etc.) and badly made on a purely technical level (it's a medicore movie i'm sorry i rewatched it too many times and it got boring) but i greatly enjoy it (at least i did when i was hyperfixated) and it caused irreparable damage to my psyche

people have got to learn the difference between I didnt like it and It was bad

oh my god it's been more than a year. i'm still here !!

I recently watched The Human Centipede for the first time (and actually liked it) and now I'm discovering it's a whole-ass fandom on this site. A fandom that writes AU fanfics and makes fanart and everything. Also for some reason people really like shipping Dr. Heiter with the dude from Tusk. Point is, it's a genuinely engaged fandom - this site has the only Human Centipede-related community I've seen so far that is mostly populated by people who genuinely enjoy the movie as opposed to people disgusted by the movie. I'm pleasantly surprised.

That said, it can't be just me who would honestly like a Human Centipede-themed haunted house.
