I’d just like to take this moment to share a magnificent thought from the mind of my boyfriend: what if instead of another mass effect game, BioWare decided on making the sequel a book instead? And what if the author given the task of writing said novel was none other than Becky Chambers? Imagine what she could do with these alien cultures and biotics! The potential queerness! The perspective of (and from) artificial intelligence like the geth and EDI! What I’d give to read her version of mass effect. I’m so mad at my boyfriend for thinking of this because now I want it.

Doh! My dyslectic ass read that as aromantic instead of aromatic at first, so I voted for Sage despite knowing nothing about her, cause while I love the Wayfarers series and Pepper with my whole heart, she’s clearly in a loving romantic relationship with Blue and isn’t good Aro rep, and thought she’d got placed on a poll about Aro characters by mistake >.<

I've just finished reading "The Long Way to a Small, Angry Planet" (Wayfarers Series, Becky Chambers) - which sat on my to-read list for far too long and which I loved! Its been a bit since I've last read through a book in one go, completely forgetting time - So here's a little sketch of Sissix & Ashby. :)

I've heard fans say there should be a movie adaptation of The Long Way to a Small Angry Planet, but consider this instead: a YouTube channel with a series of "vlogs" where characters from the Wayfarers books talk about what they're up to these days.

It would be small-scale, personal, and sweet. Just like the books we've grown to love.
