Geralt won the apple. It didn't taste better than the other apples, and he is now brooding (read: sulking)

When a curse is cast to save Geralt, Ciri, and Yennefer, Jaskier is forced to sacrifice his humanity. He is transformed into a small bird, and all memories of him are erased from Geralt, Yennefer, and Ciri's minds.

Jaskier doesn't regret his choice. He never truly felt he belonged in their family, anyway.

Geralt often notices a tiny songbird following him on his journeys, always flitting nearby, though he has no idea why it’s there. Ciri affectionately names the bird Buttercup, and Yennefer agrees, saying the name suits it well.

Each night, Geralt dreams of a song whose name he can never quite remember.

"– And can’t the same be said about any woman?" Geralt mocked. "Where are you trying to go with this nonsense? You ask me how many mutants I killed, but why aren’t you interested in knowing how many I uncursed, freeing them from their curse? Me, the witcher you all despise. And what did you, powerful sorcerers, do?"

the way Geralt reacts to the prejudice and hypocrisy directed at witchers really surprised me. even in a sarcastic way, he responds so simply and directly, pointing out that sorcerers' prejudice against witchers is just hypocrisy disguised as false morality. they can even be more cruel than witchers and aren’t criticized for it

just like in the striga situation, Geralt tries to look beyond appearances and take a more just approach, always trying to avoid a greater evil

i'm not trying to idealize him; i know he's not a hero. but the effort he makes to be just, even when faced with difficult decisions, is truly admirable

Geralt seeing a field with tiny fa ponies, falls in love with them and has to buy a few.

Later, Jaskier is walking to town in the spring when he hears a rumbling sound, looks up, and it's Horse Girl Geralt pulling up beside him, driving a team of tiny fat ponies!
