Personally I subscribe to the genre of men whose names are made so famous that they cannot be rid of it, despite how much they'd like to.

Like when a bard just will not shut up about how great you are when literally all you do is your Job, very casually at that, and he's constantly being famous and singing your name and description all the time and you'd like nothing more than to disappear into a vineyard with your hot mage wife named Yennefer while your adopted daughter takes over what's left of your job after she saved the world already.

I love it when there's a guy who lost their name. forgot it, discarded it, don't use it, can't use it, had it stolen, even just when a title is used to avoid saying it. all good stuff

Jaskier was born human—a rather unusual occurrence, considering Jaskier’s family was made up entirely of dragons.

No one could explain why, instead of a baby dragon hatching from an egg, a very human infant entered the world. Faced with the perplexing situation of raising a human child, his dragon parents ultimately left him in the care of humans.

Unaware of his true origins, Jaskier grew up as any ordinary human might. He became a bard, met Geralt, and eventually found himself climbing a mountain—only to be promptly yelled at by the Witcher.

Now, standing there, chest heaving, Jaskier feels as though he's burning from the inside out. He would very much like to get off this mountain. And maybe take a cold bath. Immediately.

Omg warlord Geralt and consort Jaskier (who’s also sandpiper) except they get separated bc of nilfgaard, and after a while they reunite in a battle or something and kiss like Elizabeth Swann and William in potc at world end

Geralt deflected a blade with a swift parry, his golden eyes locked onto Jaskier. “Marry me,” he demanded, voice steady despite the chaos of battle raging around them.

Jaskier barely dodged a wild swing, stumbling back with a breathless laugh. “Darling, I appreciate the romance, but now might not be the best—”

“This might be the only time,” Geralt cut in, slicing down an opponent. “I love you. I’ve made my choice. What’s yours?”

Jaskier’s heart pounded, though whether from the fight or Geralt’s words, he wasn’t sure. With a reckless grin, he shouted, “Vesemir! Marry us!”

The old witcher, still fending off attackers, spared them an incredulous glance. “Rather occupied at the moment!”
