So I got like 2 questions I guess... so morigan can like, make the sea do stuff? And how powerful is she compared to other of your KSU people so like, how would she stack up to say Apex with helenofsimblr for instance?

Hi there. Sorry it took me a bit to get these answered but I had to consult @helenofsimblr as Apex is her creation!

More under the cut and thank you for the ask! Bit longwinded because the questions are not easy as yes or no. The two are very close in physical strength.

So first, can Morrigan make the sea do stuff? The short answer is yes, due to her background (to be revealed later...) she is able to manipulate the sea in a variety of fashions. I can go into more detail, but it would perhaps spoil the story a bit if I gave more detail than that. I applaud your keen eye on seeing that Morrigan's powers are somehow tied to the sea.

Secondly, how does she stack up to Apex? That was a more complex discussion! Helen and I have a document that covers the variety of range of power that characters in the KSU have. We have a sort of hierarchy of power much akin to the MCU's power scale.

Helen says, "Apex is an enhanced super soldier clone. He's fast and his reflexes are honed to the nth degree, but he has no knowledge of DPC or anything martial art. His entire strategy thus far has been to just out muscle everything he's come across and that's worked for him. But what happens when you go up against someone who's as physically as powerful as you, but also deeply trained?" Good question yes? Let's talk about Morrigan now...

Morrigan's lineage is a long powerful line of Mer royalty. She is also currently the only living mer who holds the station of Paragon, which is where many of her sea related powers come from. If you took those powers away, she would still be a capable and deadly fighter, able to use claws, tridents and a variety of martial weapons above and below the sea.

So if we're doing this battle near water, there is no question that Morrigan would win out. Now on land, you might think it to be a different story, but Helen and I agree that Morrigan is still going to win. Morrigan would be packing her trusty trident and a set of very mean claws along with extensive specialized training that she would have since childhood and we think that is why Morrigan would edge Apex out of the winner spot.

Although, I do not think in either situation she would come out of the battle completely unharmed. I am certain she would be feeling it the next day! Apex is no slouch!

It can take a couple of days or a few hours depending on how motivated I am. I am trying to get more consistent with posting!

The Princeling and the Seer 1/8

Somewhere in Sulani…

A piecemeal ramshackle den stood proudly next to Makuahine, a semi-active volcano. It was the home of the local seer, a blind old woman who’d been around for… well for an exceedingly long time.

Blind eyes looked towards the sky at smoke churning from the volcano nearby, “Yes, Makuahine be quite grumpy today. Perhaps she’s sensing what old Mama Kevari is sensing, yes my sister?” The old woman’s eyes moved to look at a spot in front of her. If anyone had been standing about, they would have just seen an old woman speaking to the air, but to Mama Kevari, she was able to see her guardian spirit she knew as “Sister”.

She went over to her favorite seat, a place where she could feel the kiss of the sea on the wind. She was Mama Kevari, the local seer, the local crazy old woman who lived next to a volcano. People came from all over the world to ask her questions and for many of these questions she had an answer, her guides would help find these answers.
