au where everything is the same except mabel and dipper have been going to gravity falls every year before the show takes place since like kindergarten.

its a pretty simple premise that derives mostly from my desire to explore interpersonal relationships and the ways a place and people can change from a young child’s point of view. it doesn’t change canon that much either, admittedly, i just wanted to draw childhood friends stuff LOL. ill call it uhhhhhhhh every summer au.

Happy Worldbuilding Wednesday! Have you ever cut a character/scene/subplot from one WIP, then included it in a different WIP?

Well, I took the magic system and characters and world of my first ever WIP and turned it into the Summer of Growing, which is a stud on time loops and how people both in and out of the know are affected.

One of the first things I made (reminder, I was an early teen when I made this and in my Undertale phase) was the magic system. Basically, magic is divided into color. Only monsters have grey magic, the ability to manipulate souls, while only humans have red magic, the most rare magic that can both summon flames and can replicate other magics' powers. With red magic, Charlie, one of the main characters, gained the ability to basically reset time to when she was thirteen.

How the porch is going in case anyone wondered. This is what happens when two people take me to a couple garden centers for my birthday in May. I got carried away and this is the result months later.
