Favorite ffviii moments?
I already gif this here hahaha but when you go to winhill to do sidequests and stuff, you enter in that mansion and if you have quistis and irvine in the party something funny happens at the end because of a chocobaby, it's such a comic relief after balamb stuff
I also like pupu sidequests! it's soooooo silly but seeing that cow being carried by the spaceship cracks me, I like how ff8 always sustained the idea to travel space (reading the tutorials and magazines for story), it's just meh they couldn't explore space back in 1998-9
AAAANd the DRAMA to get doomtrain, that magazines were so cool, it gaves such a journalism vibes about extraterrestrial events, yesh you don't even need to read because you already know how to get the train but it's really cool also I always wonder how cid got the magical lamp????? Seriously
O_O where?

The Story of Pupu (Watanabe Kensaku, 1998)
delightful anarchic nonsense with director debut flair. Two girls - one devotedly in love with the other, the other oblivious and impervious - en route to the grave of an orphan pig, pushing along a stolen baby. Fathers, gangsters, punks and playboys in the way. Plowing through the world to shape it the way they need. Plowing through all.
