Summary:

Aziraphale is missing training. The plans for Alpha Centauri are late. As Aziraphale and the Starmaker get swept up in a whirlwind of new emotions their responsibilities begin to fall by the wayside. With the angels around them taking notice, it's only a matter of time before a higher power will have to step in and get the Great Plan back on track.

Excerpt:

“The Angel of the Eastern Gate,” Gabriel said in clipped tones. “Is that who this is?” Staring off into the distance the Starmaker nodded curtly. “He’s in every one of these ‘sketches,’ then?” Another nod. “And you think this is an appropriate use of your time… ogling a cherub when you have actual important work to be doing?”

“Well… I mean, ogling might be a bit of an overstatement, if you’re asking me.”

“I’m not.” Gabriel’s voice was hard, and the Starmaker flinched at the sound of it. It was one that he heard often enough to know that Gabriel wasn’t in the mood for any other opinion. “The plans are due tomorrow. And I’m not interested in any excuses. Put aside any… whatever you have for this lesser angel and get to it.”

She exists!! And she only took a couple of weeks and a new handsaw to make. And yes, you can manipulate both the trunk to make words and the jaw to make chomps (which is probably my favorite part)
