Transformers 5 News TF5 #81
Hello viewers, here is some more Transformers 5 news.
We apologize for the lack of news on the production of Transformers: The Last Knight. 1919 Studios is committed to finishing out the coverage of Transformers 5 movie news, and will continue to do so for the foreseeable future. Some of this news you may read on here may be old, now irrelevant, or perhaps things you’ve already heard, We appreciate you staying with us.
1. Transformers: The Last Knight toys revealed
At New York Toy Fair 2017, toys from the Transformers: The Last Knight line were revealed. These included looks at Voyager class, Deluxe class, Leader class, One-Step-Changer toys, and many more. These included toys of Optimus Prime, Bumblebee, Megatron, Dinobots, Exct, and are expected to hit shelves later this year.
A new line of Transformers: The Last Knight toys were also shown off called ‘The Turbo Changers.’ These are small toys designed for small children, and can fit in the palm of your hand. This line included figures of characters from previous films like Sideswipe, Starscream, and Lockdown, but they will not be appearing in Transformers: The Last Knight.
A full analysis video of all of the toys can be viewed on ‘The Ragin Nation’ YouTube channel, by watching his video titled ‘The Road To TF5 #119.’
You can also find pictures and descriptions of all of the new toys online by just doing an online search.
Michael Bay, Lorenzo di Bonaventura, Mark Wahlberg, Isabela Moner, Laura Haddock and Josh Duhamel also attended New York Toy Fair 2017.
2. Who is Steelbane?
At New York Toy Fair 2017, new toys were shown off. As mentioned above we got new versions of Optimus Prime, Bumblebee, Megatron, exct, but what about any new characters? Or at least characters we have no idea about? Enter in Steelbane. A newly reveled toy from an upcoming character in Transformers: The Last Knight. He looks medieval; wearing medieval armor, holding a sword, and having wings. His vehicle mode is a dragon, and he looks like a knight. His paint colors are metallic blue and grey, and we’re not sure if he’s an Autobot, or Decepticon. (though he probably an Autobot due to coloring and eye color) Though we have not seen this character before in previous Transformers films, he does look a little familiar. In TF5 News #75 we talked about www.USAToday.com releasing a Transformers: The Last Knight image featuring Mark Wahlberg and Laura Haddock. In the image we can see the two exploring a Cybertronian craft, (possibly Lockdown’s ship from Transformers: Age Of Extinction) and in the background of the picture you can see a broken Cybertronian knight statue about to fall over. The design of this toy and that statue from the image are nearly identical. Also in TF5 News #70 we discussed Transformers: The Last Knight using practical props in filming. One of them being a large Cybertronian knight. The toy of Steelbane and this this prop look almost identical as well; their head and body sculps are the same.
Steelbane is looking to be a Cybertronian knight in the film, but regardless of who is, he is most deffinetly a Transformer from medival times. More specifically, probably a Transformer from the times of King Arthur, and when that three-headed dragon Transformer from the first Transformers: The Last Knight trailer exsisted. Cybertronian knights we first seen as a concept in Transformers: Age Of Extinction aboard Lockdown’s ship; revealing that Transformers have been around much longer than we first thought. It appears now that Cybertronian knights will be further explored upon in Transformers: The Last Knight with the character Steelbane, as well as probably others.
3. Who is Dragonstorm?
Alongside a toy for the new character Steelbane being reveled at New York Toy Fair 2017, a toy for another new character known as Dragonstorm is also being reveled. Dragonstorm is the three-headed dragon Transformer featured on the Transformers: The Last Knight movie banner, and was also shown in the first trailer for the film for a brief shot. Now while it is nice to know that we’ll be getting a toy of this new character, what’s the most interesting thing about him is that he’s an Autobot. Pictures off the toy have been appearing online, and in some of them, you can clearly make out an Autobot logo on his chest. It is curious though because in some of the Transformers: The Last Knight marketing, (the banner) it looks like Optimus Prime is going to fight the three-headed dragon Transformer known now as Dragonstorm. If that is to happen, will we see two Autobots face one another? And could this be a fight between two leaders from different time periods? And will Optimus Prime be evil during this fight when it takes place? And how would Dragonstorm get from his medieval time period into the present? Time-travel? So many questions, but only time will tell.

Remember when I said there was a TFCU/TCU coming up? Well, the writing’s room all wrapped up and now, more or less, they’ll have to begin pre-production soon. Which is awesome!
Personally, I’d prefer if we get a new face, a new director to direct the 5th movie (which is automatically a sequel for AOE). Meaning: I’d love to see anyone BUT Michael Bay. It might come off as weird, seeing how the style of the typical Bayformers may not apply to the sequel if it were to be directed by a different person. But, I just wanna see an…improved method, y'know?
If asked about the possible Prequel being animated….well, let’s just say I entirely support the idea (Ignoring my eager squeals in the bg, of course). I agree with what Alex said, and just the thought of having a CGI animated TF movie; telling the stories of various characters and how life was on Cybertron before the war–fills me with giddy excitement, as a fan.
Though I still can’t choose which style I’d prefer (if it were CGI): Bayverse or Prime? Or maybe WFC? Perhaps something new or even a mix of all three? Idk.
And yes, I too believe Hasbro/Paramount would (finally) soon announce their progress to the public. (YES.)
–The channel has been the most trustworthy place for me to gather information and get updated on several things going on in the TF franchise. I wholly recommend this channel if you’re interested in following solid, up-to-date news regarding big topics [movies, etc.] as well as small ones [toys, figures, etc.]–

Transformers 5 News TF5 #80
Hello viewers, here is some more Transformers 5 news.
We apologize for the lack of news on the production of Transformers: The Last Knight. 1919 Studios is committed to finishing out the coverage of Transformers 5 movie news, and will continue to do so for the foreseeable future. Some of this news you may read on here may be old, now irrelevant, or perhaps things you’ve already heard, We appreciate you staying with us.
1. Dinobot toys reveled
Images have been appearing online of some upcoming figures from the Transformers: The Last Knight toy line. One of them being deluxe class Dinobot Slash, who we know will be getting a toy, (and possibly appearing in the film) and the toy isn’t anything special. It is actually just a grey and blue repainted version of the toy from the Transformers: Age Of Extinction line. Nothing about this toy is new or original. Very disappointing. Another toy is voyager class Grimlock, and like the toy of Slash, this Transformers: The Last Knight Grimlock figure, is just a metallic silver repaint of the toy from the Transformers: Age Of Extinction line. Again, very disappointing.
2. Megatron is a jet
Prototype images of the Megatron toy from the Transformers: The Last Knight toy line have appeared online, and in these images we see an unfinished model of what the toy could be; pretty much just gel character models that designers can fill in with color and detail later. But what’s signifigant about these images is that we also see the prototype version of his vehicle mode in the gel model as well, and it appears that Megatron will be a [Cybertronian] jet in Transformers: The Last Knight. This idea was first brought up back in TF5 News #42 when JoBlo released their plot leak of the movie, which up to this point has been almost completely accurate. Megatron was also a Cybertronian jet in the first live-action Transformer film released in 2007.

Transformers 5 News TF5 #79
Hello viewers, here is some more Transformers 5 news.
We apologize for the lack of news on the production of Transformers: The Last Knight. 1919 Studios is committed to finishing out the coverage of Transformers 5 movie news, and will continue to do so for the foreseeable future. Some of this news you may read on here may be old, now irrelevant, or perhaps things you’ve already heard, We appreciate you staying with us.
1. Mini-Dinobots Revealed
Before the Super-Bowl began on February 5th, a short clip titled ‘The Mini-Dinobot Pre-Bowl’ was shown by Transformers showing off CG renders of what are being called the ‘Mini-Dinobots,’ and that’s exactly what they are. They’re dog sized versions of Dinobot Slug, Strafe, and Grimlock. Nothing is new about them, nothing is original, and it honestly feels quite childish. So childish that you think these Mini-Dinobots would belong in a Disney cartoon. In TF5 News #71 producer Lorenzo di Bonaventura mentioned that Transformers: The Last Knight would introduce the idea of Mini-Dinobots, and if this is how they’re really going to be in the film, then this is just sad. Very disappointing.
2. ‘The Maker’ revealed?
In the Super-Bowl TV Spot for Transformers: The Last Knight, audio can be heard of a conversation being held by Optimus Prime, and a new mysterious character. That conversation has a little bit of context within itself, as Optimus Prime refers to this new character, a female, as his maker. “Creators”, or now being known as “Makers” were a concept that were introduced to the live-action Transformers films back Transformers: Age Of Extinction. There were talks of The Creators in the film, and idea was put into motion for a female Transformer known as ‘The Widow Maker.’ Could this idea be revisited? Well we now know from the trailer that there will indeed be a female Cybertronian, so could Optimus Prime’s maker actually be known as The Widow Maker? And could this be the film’s version of The Quintessons from G1?
In addition to The Maker being mentioned in the trailer, we may have even more information on the character than we realized. If you go to www.IMDB.com and look up Transformers: The Last Knight, you will be able to find all of the actors who are a part of the film, from humans to Transformers. One actor, or rather actress in particular being Gemma Chan, who is credited on the page as playing the character ‘Quintessa’ in the upcoming film. Though this is posted on an entertainment website, it should not be taken as fact. IMDB users who have an account are able to edit any information on the website itself. Meaning, that this actually could just be a spoof done by a fan. If you listen to the audio of The Maker speaking, and then compare it to some other voice-over work Gemma Chang has done in commercials for example, the two voices sound very similar. So maybe there is some truth to this IMDB posting? Only time will tell.
Gemma Chan currently has a role on the AMC television show ‘Humans.’

Transformers 5 News TF5 #77
1. Transformers 5 TV Spots
Three new Transformers: The Last Knight TV Spots have been released. The first one, titled ‘CHOOSE A SIDE’ is about rethinking your heroes. The second one, titled ‘KEEP COMING’ is about two worlds colliding, being earth and presumably Cybertron, or just humans and Transformers. And the third one, titled ‘STAY AND FIGHT’ highlights the human aspect of the film. There is no new footage in any of these TV Spots.
2. First Look at Transformers 5 deluxe figures
Images have been appearing online of some deluxe class toys from the Transformers: The Last Knight toy line. These include looks at Bumblebee, the new Decepticon Berserker, and Barricade:
2.1. Starting off with deluxe Bumblebee, the toy looks very bland and cheap. There’s less colors on it than previous models, and the toy appears to be a straight rehash of the deluxe Bumblebee from the Transformers: Age Of Extinction line. The sculpt of the toy is nearly identical, and the paint has been altered slightly. It looks as though Hasbro is trying to re-sell the Transformers: Age Of Extinction deluxe Bumblebee completely. Very disappointing.
2.2. The new deluxe figure called ‘Decepticon Berserker’ isn’t anything new at all. This “new” figure for Transformers: The Last Knight is just a Dread, or rather the character ‘Crankcase’ from Transformers: Dark Of The Moon, and the Transformers: Dark Of The Moon toy line. A few pieces are different and the color scheme is different as well, but other than that it’s the same. Like deluxe Bumblebee, also very disappointing. I guess this means we’ll also see the return of The Dreads, or now the Decepticon Berserkers in Transformers: The Last Knight. At least they changed the name. Included with pictures of the toy, also came pictures of the instruction sheet. The reason why this is significant is because on the back of the instruction sheet it lists off other toys you can purchase and one of them is the Dinobot ‘Slash.’ Slash was a Dinobot that never made it past concept art for Transformers: Age Of Extinction, but went on to get a toy. From what we see in the image, the toy appears to be the exact same from the Transformers: Age Of Extinction toy line. My prediction is that this new toy will just be a simple re-paint of the existing one, and that we may actually see Dinobot Slash in Transformers: The Last Knight.
2.3. Out of the three new toys shown, Barricade by far looks the best. He’s a combination of black, dark blue, white, and grey, and honestly looks really good for a deluxe class toy. He comes with lots of weapons and has a giant arm cannon white multiple barrels wrapped around his arm, and his vehicle mode looks really nice as well with the color schemes. This is a toy I look forward to buying.
3. Transformers: The Last Knight to have a Super-Bowl TV Spot
Following the pattern of the previous Transformers films, Transformers: The Last Knight will have a 55 second TV Spot during the 2017 Super-Bowl on February 5th. There is already a new 30 second TV Spot up online now to be seen, but make sure to tune in to the big game to see new footage from the upcoming film.
4. Transformers and G.I. Joe to crossover?
In an interview from Collider done with D.J. Caruso, the director of ‘xXx: The Return Of Xander Cage’ he was asked what’s going to happen in a potential G.I. Joe 3 film since he is reportedly going to direct the sequel. Speaking with Collider he had this to say:
----Before I started this movie I had a couple meetings with Dwayne and the studio about what could happen with G.I. Joe. The franchise has been fairly successful, but there’s something about it that’s just not fully, fully clicking.----
The Collider journalist conducting the interview than brought up the idea of the Transformers and G.I. Joe coming together in one film. D.J. Caruso had this to say in response:
----Well yeah but they’re not ready to do [G.I. Joe meets Transformers] yet. That’s exactly what they should do but they’re not ready to do that because in fact the script that I was developing, the two worlds sort of collided at the end and when they read it they were like, ‘We’re not ready to do this yet.’… They will eventually collide those two worlds and it’s probably when Mr. Bay decides he’s done with Transformers.----
The idea that Transformers and G.I. Joe should come together in a film is something that I’ve never liked. Yes they are both Hasbro properties, but they are both so different from one another and should stay separate. Transformers has their next three films planned, and then some, while G.I. Joe is struggling. It would be a lot to combine those worlds, and I’m honestly not sure it can be done in a way that will work. They would have to explain so much, and I frankly just don’t want to see it happen.

Transformers 5 News TF5 #76
Hello viewers, here is some more Transformers 5 news.
1. Empire Magazine talks Transformers 5 with Michael Bay
In one of their latest issues, Empire Magazine got to talk to director Michael Bay about the upcoming Transformers: The Last Knight. We’ll be highlighting what we think is the most important information gathered from this article, and will not be doing a full run-through of the article published by Empire Magazine. In the article, Michael Bay talked about a “robot with dementia.” This robot, or rather Transformer in question is said to be a World War I tank, that will be featured in Transformers: The Last Knight. Outside of this just being a cool news snippet, the reason why this is significant is because we may already know who this Transformer is. In the first Transformers: The Last Knight trailer, (which we talked about in TF5 News #69) we see a shot of a downed Autobot. This Autobot was a new, and unknown character. He hasn’t been seen in any previous Transformers films, and who he actually is remains a mystery. But in the one shot that we see of him in the trailer, his shoulders look kind of like tank treads. If this is indeed the case, and he is the World War I tank Transformer we’re going to see in Transformers: The Last Knight, could this be the Autobot ‘Warpath’ featured in the Transformers game ‘War For Cybertron?’ It is possible, and would be a nice nod to fans of that game, but overall it is just great that we’re going to be seeing a World War I tank Transformer. With him being a “robot with dementia,” that could be that he is suffering memory loss from being such an old Transformer, a Transformer from World War I.
2. Transformers 5 toy list reveals Cybertron
In a Transformers: The Last Knight toy list unofficially released by Hasbro, there is said to be two Cybertron toys that are a part of the new and upcoming line. The first being labeled as ‘TF5 Movie Planet Cybertron’ and the second being labeled as ‘TF5 Movie Planet Cybertron (Deluxe).’ While this doesn’t confirm Cybertron to be a part of Transformers 5 completely, this is more evidence, and strong evidence, to support that claim. We also see a shot of a large planet like Cybertronian type mass floating towards a moon in the first Transformers: The Last Knight trailer. This could be Cybertron because of how damaged the mass looks in the trailer. The [planet’s] core is visible, and it looks as though the mass is being held loosely together; pieces are shooting out in all directions, and it just doesn’t look stable. This could be a result of what happened in Transformers: Dark Of The Moon, when Cybertron was being transported to earth, and then sucked back into space when the transportation ended early. If this is indeed Cybertron, I can honestly say that this is disappointing. After all, fans were hoping that this mass could be a version of Unicron, getting ready to devour a moon, or maybe even Quintessa since The Quintessons have been thrown around so much in the conversation of Transformers 5. Plus, Cybertron coming to earth is something we’ve already seen in previous Transformers films, and it would be unoriginal and silly if they intended to use a plot device we’ve already seen before. The only way that this could have some saving-grace, if it really is Cybertron, is for Transformers 5 to introduce ‘Primus.’ Primus is the robot mode of Cybertron; the whole planet itself is one giant Transformer. Primus, in G1, is also the God, and creator of the Transformers. He and Unicron would constantly battle each other, so maybe if one of them is introduced, it opens up the door for the other one to be introduced?

Transformers 5 News TF5 #75
Hello viewers, here is some more Transformers 5 news.
1. New Optimus Prime toy unveiled
At the ‘Honk Kong: Toys and Games Convention” that took place recently, a new Transformers: The Last Knight themed, Leader class Optimus Prime toy was shown off, and some photos have appeared online. The new figure is a premier edition, Asia exclusive toy, and is called the ‘Shadow Spark Optimus Prime,’ and rumor has it is that the toy is meant to resemble Transformers: The Last Knight’s version of Nemesis Prime. The figure itself in sculpt design does not look much different than previous Optimus Prime figures from the Transformers: The Last Knight line, and the Transformers: Age Of Extinction line. But what is new is its paint job. The figure is almost completely black, and dark grey in color, and only has subtle hints of red and blue across some of its pieces. The toy looks very metallic and shiny, and overall looks very nice. While this does not confirm Nemesis Prime to be a part of Transformers: The Last Knight, it certainly is a step in that direction, all be it a small one. But this isn’t the first time that Nemesis Prime and Transformers: The Last Knight have been brought up in the same conversation. In TF5 News #36 is when rumors first started to circulate that Optimus Prime could become Nemesis Prime, but these are just rumors.
2. USA Today releases Transformers 5 image
www.USAToday.com released an article about the most anticipated films of 2017, and Transformers: The Last Knight made their list. Alongside being discussed, the website released a new image from the movie. The image features Mark Wahlberg and Laura Haddock, and shows them exploring inside some Cybertronian structure. The two characters appear to be in some US military or exploration garbs, (they kind of look like mechanic suits) and Mark Wahlberg is holding a flare while Laura Haddock holds a large flashlight in the background. It is rumored that the setting they are in is the large Cybertronian structure we see in the first Transformers: The Last Knight trailer, (discussed in TF5 News #69) which we see submersibles dive into. To further the rumor, it is possible that Mark Wahlberg and Laura Haddock took a submersible, or rather a submarine down to this structure, and they themselves are inside it. In the picture you can see that the walls are Cybertronian, and that the room looks damaged; cables hang everywhere and the scene looks wet. It’s not a far fetch that this scene could take place underwater inside that structure, and that Mark Wahlberg and Laura Haddock’s characters took a submarine to go there. In TF5 News #47 is when the first official Transformers: The Last Knight banner appeared in New York, which showed a submarine diving near a submerged Cybertronian structure, or ship, and in TF5 News #49 a video of Transformers 5 being filmed showed Mark Wahlberg and Laura Haddock shooting a scene aboard a submarine. And if it is indeed a ship, could Mark Wahlberg and Laura Haddock be exploring ‘The Nemesis?’ In the Transformers animated G1 cartoon, The Nemesis was the ship that the Decepticons took to get to earth. Also in the show, The Nemesis crashed underwater, and was used as the base-of-operations for the Decepticons. Could this be The Nemesis? The idea isn’t out of the realm of possibility, as the live-action Transformers movies have nodded to the G1 cartoon before, and will continue that trend in Transformers: The Last Knight with the inclusion of King Arthur, as that was inspired by a G1 episode.
Another theory, if it is indeed is a ship, is that it is actually Lockdown’s ship from Transformers: Age Of Extinction. The reason being is because in the background of the USA Today image, you can see what looks like a Cybertronian knight statue that has begun to fallen over. You can make out the head and arms of a statue, and the statue appears to be holding a sword. In Lockdown’s ship there were statues similar to this, and many of them. It would also add some continuity (something that I feel the Transformers film series is lacking) if it was indeed Lockdown’s ship. After Lockdown died at the end of Transformers: Age Of Extinction, his ship can be seen hovering over the Hong Kong bay just before Optimus Prime launches off into space. Without someone to command the ship, it would surely crash, and we would need an explanation into what happened to the ship after Lockdown died, otherwise that would be a plot-hole.
It is also a possibility that Mark Wahlberg and Laura Haddock could be exploring this ship to look for the macguffin of the film: Excalibur. The reason why this ide makes sense is because in TF5 News #48 we talked about some images being released of Mark Wahlberg filming Transformers 5, in which he is wielding a medieval sword, and is wearing the same outfit from those pictures, as he is this one released by USA Today. Could the macguffin of the film be Excalibur, and could that be the link between King Arthur’s time and the present? It certainly is a possibility.

Transformers 5 News TF5 #74
Hello viewers, here is some more Transformers 5 news.
1. Collider interviews Lorenzo di Bonaventura
During the Transformers: The Last Knight set visits, press was able to talk to the cast and crew of the film for some details. During that time, Collider interviewed Transformers film producer Lorenzo di Bonaventura, asking him some questions about the upcoming film. We won’t be covering all of the interview, but instead just some parts of it that we think are noteworthy. The full interview can be found up online at www.Collider.com, or across some of their other media platforms :
----Collider: We know that Hot Rod was introduced in this movie, or is going to be introduced. Is there a chance that somewhere down the road that he would take on the matrix of leadership, or that you could see a movie without Optimus being the main leader of the Transformers?----
----Lorenzo di Bonaventura: Well that’s interesting in this movie, one of the interesting things is we question whether or not he would be a leader. So I think on that level, we’re already taking a step in that direction. I think we all revere-it’s sort of like doing a Batman movie without Batman. I find it hard to see him not being a player in it. Does he have to be the central leader player? No, he doesn’t have to be. He doesn’t have to be, and in this movie, we question it, and he questions it. So I think on that level, you’re going to really enjoy that aspect of it, because he’s got a really-one of the things that I really like about him going to Cybertron is he has to ask himself the question of “Was I responsible for this division? Was it my ego that got in the way? Who is my loyalty to?” I think it’s always great when you have a big hero like that really questioning what they do.----
----Collider: The ongoing battle in all of these movies is the Autobots versus the Decepticons. What’s different about the conflict in this movie as oppose to the other ones?----
----Lorenzo di Bonventura: I think the-first of all, we introduce a new villain. A surprise, I think, as you discover who the villain is. So in that respect, that is a very different kind of Decepticon form, if you would. I think that the understanding of the mythology, as you being to unveil it, you’ll understand just how big the jeopardy that we’re going to face is.----
----Collider: If you’re introducing a new villain, is Galvatron/Megatron still around? Does he play any role in this?----
----Lorenzo di Bonaventura: Yeah, Megatron for sure is around. I mean, are we talking about some of the ones that are…----
Lorenzo di Bonaventura motions for one of the staff members.
----Staff: You can talk about some of the new ones.----
Lorenzo di Bonaventura continues his comments.
----Lorenzo di Bonaventura: So if you go back in the mythology, how Transformers were actually created, where did it start, where did they go from being sort of a slave-race to a sentient race-we’re delving into that aspect of the mythology, so the characters that are involved in there are Megatron, before he’s Megatron, Optimus before he’s Optimus, the Librarian, the Quintessons, there’s a whole group of things that have to do with how, in a sense, the Transformers were birthed, and also with how they were divided. What brought up the division, and what were the jealousies involved. So I think on that level, you’re going to deal with things that feel from a stakes level higher, because of the importance of the sort of thought, right? There’s still, of course, the threat to the world and that sort of threat we have, but I that that threat is amplified now, because you’re going to feel why certain aspects of our world, why we’ve been fighting in a sense.----
Early in Lorenzo di Bonaventura’s comments he not only hints that Hot Rod could become a new leader of the Autobots, but he also mentions Optimus Prime returning to Cybertron. We first heard of the idea of that back in TF5 News #42 when www.JoBlo.com released plot details for Transformers: The Last Knight, and they included word of Optimus Prime returning to Cybertron. It is interesting to know that maybe Optimus Prime will question his leadership, and whether or not he was the cause of the Cybertronian division, forming the Autobots and the Decepticons.
Lorenzo di Bonaventura also mentions that a new vilian will be introduced, a new kind of Decepticon. This could possibly be the inclusion of Unicron, Megatron, or something new entierly. Lorenzo di Bonaventura then talks about going deeper into the Transformers mythology, exploring a time before Megatron has become Megatron, and before Optimus Prime has become Optimus Prime. He then name drops The Quintessons, and a mysterious new character known as ‘The Librarian.’ This isn’t the first time The Quintessons have been mentioned, as they were previously talked about in TF5 News #72 when information from the Transformers: The Last Knight set visits started to come through. Could The Quintessons be ‘The Creators’ teased in Transformers: Age Of Extinction? It certainly could be so as The Quintessons were part of the creation of the Transformers in the old G1 cartoon. And could The Librarian be just a code name for possibly Alpha Trion or Orion Pax? Alpha Trion is also from the G1 cartoon, and is said to be the oldest living Transformer. It is also said that he helped lead the Transformers in a rebellion against the Quintessons to free themselves from being a slave-race, and that he helped establish Cybertron. Orion Pax is essentially who Optimus Prime was before he became a Prime, and was often referred to as ‘The Librarian.’ Could we see the origins of the Transformers and possibly Alpha Trion or Orion Pax, or at least a version of Alpha Trion or Orion Pax in Transformers: The Last Knight? It’s certainly possible for Orion Pax since Lorenzo di Bonaventura did mention about exploring Optimus Prime before he became a Prime, but only time will tell.
For the full interview published by Collider, you can head over to www.Collider.com, or see it on one of their other media profiles.

Transformers 5 News TF5 #73
Hello viewers, here is some more Transformers 5 news.
Potential Spoilers Ahead
1. The cast and crew comment about Transformers 5
In addition to information from the Transformers: The Last Knight set visits being released (which we discussed in TF5 News #72), comments from the stars and crew of the film are also being released. We will not be doing a full analysis of the comments the press gathered from set, because they themselves have done their own articles about the comments and we don’t want to repeat what they have said. We will though be doing a quick run-through of what we think are noteworthy pieces of information, and will say that you can find articles about the Transformers: The Last Knight set visits from these providers: Collider, IGN, Screen Rent, and Nerdist to name a few. These information bites could be altered by the studio(s) by the time of the release of Transformers: The Last Knight, but should be taken as [potential] spoilers because this information did come straight from the set and has been relayed by respectable websites:
1.1. Mark Wahlberg had this to say in regards to his character Cade Yeager and Nicola Peltz’s character Tessa Yeager, in the upcoming movie:
----Cade is like a man on the run which is fun. It’s a bit of an adventure story.----
Very interesting.
1.2. Mark Wahlberg’s comments in regards to Nicola Peltz’s character Tessa Yeager, and what’s happened to her:
----You’ll find out in the movie. They wanted it to make sense that I was older, a little slower. But yeah, you meet up with Cade now and he’s living elsewhere and he’s basically had to go on his own on the run, which is one of the reasons why, to protect his daughter and to make sure she is no longer hunted in the way that Cade is.----
These comments by Mark Wahlberg about Nicola Peltz’s character Tessa Yeager provided some context for something that [arguably] needs to happen in Transformers: The Last Knight. The Transformers movies are well known for adding in and getting rid of characters randomly, and sometimes ignore their own continuity. But it is good that this character, someone who played a big part in Transformers: Age Of Extinction, will be addressed. There was nothing said about Jack Reynor’s character Shane from the previous film.
1.3. Santiago Cabrera comments about his character, and relation to TRF in the film:
----I would say at least a few years have passed and [Transformers are] everywhere and it’s just mayhem now. So a special task force was created, a kind of worldwide team, where I’m a specific team leader that’s kind of in charge. I’ve got drones, and I go out the junkyard where we believe Cade Yeager is hiding some robots.----
It sounds as though the Transformers problem on earth has gotten [even more] out of hand since the last time we saw them.
1.4. Santiago Cabrera continues his comments, giving some more backstory about his character:
----I was a SEAL but I’m retired and on contract, I’ve been hired. The TRF has been formed to fight the Transformers, so my orders are to not care if they’re Autobots or Decepticons, we’ve gotta stop this war. I’ve come with my team to fight Transformers and when I see Cade Yeager is harboring them, he becomes an enemy. It’s orders. Cabrera’s sort of an antagonist at the beginning because of his orders. I have a scrap with Bumblebee. I do alright though, I do alright. But in that respect in the beginning I’m gonna be that guy you love to hate which is a cool part to play.----
In regards to the TRF, it seems like they’ll be hunting Transformers at any means necessary. They don’t care if they’re Autobots or Decepticons, they just want them all gone.
1.5. Josh Duhamel comments about his returning character in the new film, and where he now stands:
----N.E.S.T. is not in this. There’s a different group. N.E.S.T. was a group where we worked with the Autobots. But this group, there’s a worldwide coalition to eradicate all of the Transformers. They’re all bad, and a few of us know better. But that’s it.----
Josh Duhamel’s character is a part of TRF, but it seems like him (and probably Tyrese Gibson’s character doesn’t like being a part of the team, or is a fan of their objectives. It will be interesting to see how Josh Duhamel’s character interacts with the Transformers in this new film, since they have a history together.
1.6. Josh Duhamel continued his comments, giving an explanation as to why he thinks he wasn’t part of Transformers: Age Of Extinction:
----The last one, to sort of justify it to myself, there was no military element. Therefore they didn’t need me. I think it was probably they just didn’t want me. But this time there is definitely a military element here and what brings me back is, there’s a question as to who I’m working for. Am I with the US military, the army, or am I working with a group that’s trying to eradicate all the Transformers? Not just Decepticons, but all of them. There’s a bit of a struggle between myself and Santiago Cabrera, and then we’re also working against Mark Wahlberg’s character in this. Because he’s definitely working with the Autobots.----
I buy Josh Duhamel’s comments about Transformers: Age Of Extinction. He’s talking about it from a story and character point of view, but also in a practical film production point of view. Transformers: Age Of Extinction was set to be (for the most part) disconnected from the previous three Transformers movies, so it makes sense why he wasn’t back then. But it’s good to have him back now.
1.7. Laura Haddock’s character and family is said to be linked to the macguffin of the movie.
Interesting as well.
1.8. Anthony Hopkin’s character’s name has been confirmed as Sir Edmound Burton.
Before there were rumors that Anthony Hopkins could be playing either King Arthur or even Winston Churchill because of how Transformers: The Last Knight will be experimenting with time-travel. But these rumors have now been made false with the name of his character being confirmed.

Transformers 5 News TF5 #72
Hello viewers, here is some more Transformers 5 news.
Potential Spoilers Ahead
1. Transformers 5 set report(s) info
As we said back in TF5 News #71, some press was invited during the filming of Transformers: The Last Knight, and were allowed to share what they learned during their visits once a certain date has passed. Well the press has been given permission to talk by the studios, and that’s what we’re going to be discussing right now. We will not be doing a full analysis of what the press had to say because they themselves have done their own articles about their findings, so we don’t want to repeat what they have said. We will though be doing a quick run-through of what we think are note worthy pieces of information, and will say that you can find articles about the Transformers: The Last Knight set visits from these providers: Collider, IGN, Screen Rent, and Nerdist to name a few. These information bites could be altered by the studio(s) by the time of the release of Transformers: The Last Knight, but should be taken as [potential] spoilers because this information did come straight from the set and has been relayed by respectable websites:
1.1. Megatron and Optimus backstory, Quintessions and Primes will be explored.
It will be good that Transformers 5 will explore more of the groundwork laid down by Transformers: Age Of Extinction, in regards to The Creators. The Quintessions were the creators of the Transformers in the old animated cartoon, so it is likely that they will be the ones responsible for creating Transformers.
1.2. Optimus will question his leadership, and there will be a new Prime.
It is rumored that Hot Rod will become a new Prime.
1.3. There will be a new villain, a different form of a Decepticon.
It is rumored that the new villain will be the Cybertronian dragon we see in the beginning of the first Transformers: The Last Knight trailer.
1.4. There will be a submarine Transformer.
It is rumored that this is the reason some filming took aboard and around the HMS Alliance, to have shots of it so that it can be made into a Transformer. Very exciting if this true.
1.5. There won’t be any female Transformers
The red McLaren 570S spotted on set numerous times, was unofficially given the name ‘The Lady’ by crew members on set as a code name for the vehicle.
1.6. Decepticon bike and Volkswagen van named ‘Mohawk’ and ‘Hooligan.’
A Confederate 61 motorbike and a Volkswagen van have appeard on set multiple times with Decepticon logos on them, and it appears that they are indeed Decepticons after all. The names given to them were concept names for the Dreds back in Transformers: Dark Of The Moon.
For a full list of set visit details and a deep analysis of the information, check out the articles released by Collider, IGN, Screen Rent, and Nerdist to name a few.

Transformers 5 News TF5 #71
Hello viewers, here is some more Transformers 5 news.
1. Voyager class Optimus Prime toy made premier by Hasbro
While we’ve seen many pictures of the Voyager class Optimus Prime toy already, Hasbro released an official image of the toy in its packaging, and said that the toy will be be a premier edition. This means that the Voyager class Optimus Prime figure will be the first toy available for purchase off of the new Transformers: The Last Knight toy line.
2. Hasbro releases statement about the future of Transformers
Hasbro has made a few comments in the regards of the Transformers film series. They briefly talked about how we will be getting a Transformers film every year for the next three years, and gave a few details on those films:
“In partnership with Paramount, our writers room has created exciting new stories and characters for a series of brand new theatrical films. With Michael Bay at the helm and with the talent of Mark Wahlberg, we begin the next chapter of our Transformers Universe with the first film slated for release on June 23rd. Then for June 8, 2018, a film that tells the never before heard story of Bumblebee. And for 2019, we are developing the next Transformers story scheduled for release on June 28th.”
The most eye-catching thing about this statement is in regards to the 2018 Transformers movie. We already know that it will be about Bumblebee, but could it be a possible prequel? A before story of Bumblebee? Maybe even before the first live-action Transformers film released in 2007? These comments certainly don’t throw that idea out the window, as it is supposed to be “the never before heard story of Bumblebee.” It will be interesting to find out when this movie will take place in the timeline.
3. Transformers 5 set reports
During the filming of Transformers: The Last Knight, Michael Bay invited some press to come and tour the set and to talk about it on their various media outlets. These included some like Collider, IGN, Screen Rent, and many others. Recently producer Lorenzo di Bonaventura commented about the set reports, getting his words ahead of the rest, releasing this statement:
----You’re going to see Grimlock again. So that, to me, is one of the characters in the last movie that didn’t get enough screen time. He has a personality this time, for sure. A little more personality. Everybody wanted to see more Dinobots, including ourselves. We all wished we could have found a way in Age Of Extinction’s story to include them more. So that was one of the hopes’priorities going into this, was to try to find a way to bring them back into the stories. There are a few others, but I like Grimlock the most. He’s funny. He’s like a naughty dog in this movie. He’s really sheepish when he does something wrong. He’s a great character. We’re bringing out a side of him that you’re going to like - you’re going to relate to.----
With Lorenzo di Bonaventura’s comments, we now have official confirmation of the Dinobots returning, and with a larger part in the movie as well.
Michael Bay also gave his own comments about the involvement of the Dinobots:
----We have mini Dino’s They are really fun. We’ve got little mini T. Rex’s. He’s just learning to spit fire. He’s just come into his powers. It’s pretty funny.----
It’s great to know that Dinobots will not only be getting more screen time, but that we’ll also be getting the inclusion of more Dinobots in general.

Transformers 5 News TF5 #70
Hello viewers, here is some more Transformers 5 news.
1. Transformers 5 poster released
The first official poster for Transformers: The Last Knight has been released, and in the singular image a lot seems to be going on. We see Optimus Prime standing on a partly submerged rock with his purple eyes, and sword in his hand as he stands over a fallen foe. This other character appears to be Bumblebee, as just a bit of his arm is visible down in the bottom right corner of the poster. This theory of it being Bumblebee fits not only because of the yellow and black coloring and how the arm looks, but also because in the first trailer for Transformers: The Last Knight we saw Optimus Prime presumably kill Bumblebee with a strike to the head. In the background we also see what some fans think to be Unicron from the official trailer floating in the sky, and a damaged Cybertronian structure in the water behind Optimus Prime. The tagline reads: “Rethink your heroes.”
2. Physical Props made for Transformers 5
One is a yellow and silver head that resembles the look of Ironhide, and the other is a giant, lifelike size sculpture of a Cybertronian Knight. This sculpture looks to be inspired from the look of the knight statutes in Transformers: Age Of Extinction aboard Lockdown’s ship. These photos were first shown during the video posted by Paramount announcing the end of the filming of Transformers: The Last Knight; the pre-trailer video.
3. Filming at USS Carl Vinson
Josh Duhamel announced on his Twitter, and Michael Bay announced on his Instagram that filming had taken place aboard the super carrier known as the USS Carl Vinson. It is not known how extensive of a shoot it was, or how significant it was, but the filming did take place after the initial filming had ended. So it is presumed to be minor additions.
4. Producer Lorenzo di Bonaventura comments about the future of Transformers
In an interview, producer to the Transformers films Lorenzo di Bonaventura was asked where all the inspiration came from for the future films, and what lore was specifically used since the Transformers mythology covers many different years and platforms. His statement was:
----Hasbro put together a bible of all the mythologies that have been put forward, and they put it into one thing, and some of the comic book doesn’t fit exactly with the TV shows and the movies. So there were a few rough edges that we had to round off. But now with a fifth movie coming, there’s a lot of mythology that we’ve established as well. So, what we did was really built all three of the things into one very large document - one very large world.----
When asked about where the Transformers can go story wise, Lorenzo di Bonaventura reassured that there are many different possible directions for the films, and that some of them don’t always need to stay on Earth, and can explore different time-periods. His response read:
----Well, the animated movie is not Earth based. That’s a Cybertron-based movie. I think it’s conceivable, but I think all of us involved, it’s sort of instinctive – to keep it relatable, you need an Earth relationship to it. It’s not necessary, but I think we like it.----
When discussing an animated feature, Lorenzo di Bonaventura is more than likely talking about the animated Cybertron prequel being done by Andrew Barrer and Gabriel Ferrari, tentatively titled ‘Transformers One.’ This movie that was first brought up in TF5 News #13 would be a Transformers movie taking entirely place on Cybertron, and would be set before the events of the first live-action Transformers film done in 2007.
His final comments were in regards to time-periods when it comes to the movies:
----You could do [different time periods]. For sure, you could do that. And we’ve examined - you could easily make an argument that in Roman times, you know what I mean? That seems like a good period.----
In conclusion it sounds like the Transformers movies have enough ideas to last them a lifetime, and that is something that fans will be really excited about. Does this mean that in the future we could see a potential live-action Transformers movie set on Cybertron? The door certainly doesn’t appear closed.

Transformers 5 News TF5 #69
Hello viewers, here is some more Transformers 5 news.
We apologize for the lack of news on the production of Transformers: The Last Knight. 1919 Studios is committed to finishing out the coverage of Transformers 5 movie news, and will continue to do so for the foreseeable future. Some of this news you may read on here may be old, now irrelevant, or perhaps things you’ve already heard, We appreciate you staying with us.
1. First Transformers: The Last Knight trailer released
As talked about in TF5 News #68 Michael Bay revealed that the first official Transformers: The Last Knight trailer would be attached to the movie ‘Rogue One: A Star Wars Story,’ and now the trailer has been released online. After watching it many times, it is time for an analysis of the trailer.
1.1. The trailer has Anthony Hopkins narrating it the whole way through. The first shot of the trailer shows a medieval sword (possibly Excalibur) driven into the ground, and dripping blood at the hilt.
1.2. Then we see a shot of medieval soldiers walking through a forest.
1.3. Next is a shot of medieval soldiers charging into battle on horseback.
1.4. Then we see a shot of a Cybertronian three-headed dragon flying over some cliffs. This appears to be the same three-headed dragon we first saw when the Transformers: The Last Knight banner was released.
1.5. Next is a shot of medieval archers sticking arrows into a fire to make they flaming arrows.
1.6. Next we see a shot of medieval soldiers being blown backwards by an explosion.
1.7. Next we see a shot of explosions going off and cars being flipped over at Buckingham Palace with Nazi occupation flags across it.
1.8. Next we see a shot of soldiers falling down on the ground due to an explosion.
1.9. Then we see a large panning shot of a destroyed football stadium (presumably in Detroit) with a section of one of its walls missing, and part of a Decepticon drone ship crashed in the middle of it.
1.10. Next is a shot of a group of kids walking in the stadium towards the part of the Decepticon ship.
1.11. Next we see our first glimpse of Isabela Moner in the film; we see her looking at something.
1.12. In the next shot we see her looking at a downed Transformer, who appears to be injured, as you can see the pain and emotion on his face; he looks near death. The Transformer looks like an Autobot, but is unrecognizable. He has a face we have not seen in any of the previous films, or in leaked or official photos of the Transformers characters from the film. He also appears to have a yellow and red paint job, and has a set of blue eyes.
1.13. Next we see a shot of a giant Cybertronian structure, with a hole and tunnel in it, underwater as submersibles go into the hole.
1.14. Next we see a shot of Optimus Prime floating in space, either by deactivation, or from death. He has no course direction, and his body has begun withering down, and is covered in space ice. It is not known when his drifting in space began though. While it is most likely from the end of Transformers: Age Of Extinction to now, with him going off to try to find The Creators, and not getting there in time, or it is either after a heavy battle and his body was casted away. These are the two leading theories.
1.15. Next we see a shot of a large Cybertronian structure buried in the desert, and part of it is viable. It resembles the shape of a horn, and some think it to be one of the horn’s of Unicron.
1.16. Next we see a shot of Anthony Hopkins standing in what appears to be a church, surrounded by medieval weapons and armor, and possibly Excalibur sitting in the middle of the room. Anthony Hopkins early in the trailer says “Without sacrifice, there can be no victory.”, which is a references to Sam Witwicky’s family from the first 3 Transformers movies.
1.17. Then we see another shot of Isabela Moner, this time with the little Transformer Squeeks.
1.18. Next we see a shot of Mark Wahlberg being surrounded by TRF vehicles as he gets down on his knees to surrender.
1.19. Then we see a shot of a large Cybertronian structure floating towards the moon, and then in the next shot we see a much better image of it. It looks like it’s a planet, or a planet sized Transformer. Some believe it to be Unicron, and others believe it to be Cybertron itself, due to it’s hexagonal shapes on it’s surface. It looks that like the planet size mass is exploding, with parts shooting out in every direction, and it’s core is visible. At the center you can see a blue light, and this could possibly be what is holding the planet like mass so loosely together.
1.20. Then in the next shot we see pieces of the planet like mass attached to cables being lowerd into earth’s atmosphere and coming together. We can also see that on the surface of the pieces there is almost this green looking moss-substance growing on it; it looks organic. Then just below the pieces in the shot we can also see Josh Duhamel, Mark Wahlberg, Laura Haddock, and Santiago Cabera.
1.21. Then we see a closeup shot of Laura Haddock.
1.22. Next we see a shot of Isabela Moner running through a junkyard with a shot of the planet like mass near the moon in the sky.
1.23. Next we see a shot of Bumblebee jumping out of a wall and attacking what looks like a tank walking on two feet. It’s a mech looking like robot, and it has a TRF logo on the side of it, which indicates that TRF have weapons that are powerful enough to fight off Transformers. Bumblebee bursts through the wall and grabs a hold of the robot, and blows it up with his cannon.
1.24. The next shot shows Isabela Moner crying, saying how she wants to “stay and fight them.” Them being Decepticons.
1.25. Next we see a shot of Mark Wahlberg shooting a human sized Cybertronian gun.
1.26. That previous shot if followed by a shot of Mark Wahlberg running into the middle of the street carrying Cybertronian pieces of some sort, and pulling Isabela Moner out of the way as she watches four Decepticons fighting.
1.27. Next we see a shot of Megatron walking through smoke, into what looks like the aftermath of a battle, past a large sentry gun.
1.28. Next we see a shot of a beattle going on around hexagonal shapes with Mark Wahlberg running through in a flight-suit.
1.29. The we see a close up shot of Josh Duhamel.
1.30. Next we see a shot of Mark Wahlberg sliding down the side of what looks like a Cybertronian ship, followed by a shot of Josh Duhamel saving him underwater.
1.31. Then we see a shot of Hot-Rod racing down the streets followed by London police.
1.32. Next we see a shot of Megatron swinging down his weapon in front of Josh Duhamel in the desert. It appears that they are about to, or already have had a conversation.
1.33. Then we see a close up shot of Mark Wahlberg.
1.34. Then we see a shot of TRF soldiers being blown backwards by an explosion.
1.35. Then we see a shot of Mark Wahlberg hanging out the side of Bumblebee as Bumblebee fires off a cannon at Barricade who is racing along side him, flipping him.
1.36. Then we see a shot of Optimus Prime rising up through smoke with a damaged body. This could be before or after he starts drifting through space.
1.37. Then we see a close up shot of Laura Haddock in a flight-suit (presuambly next to Mark Wahlberg as she says “Oh my God.”
1.38. The next sequence in the trailer is a shot of Bumblebee chasing after Optimus Prime and attempting to tackle him, as Optimus Prime turns around and catches him in mid-air and slams him into the ground. They appear to be on a Cybertronian surface.
1.39. The next shot you see Optimus Prime rip away some of Bumblebee’s armor as he says “Forgive me.” and his purple colored eyes show as a blade springs out of his wrist, and Mark Wahlberg yells “No!” as he lays beside Bumblebee and Optimus Prime stabs Bumblebee in the head.
And that’s it! The whole trailer has been analyzed! And you should go watch it the trailer for yourself because it is awesome.

1. Michael Bay releases Transformers 5 trailer announcement
In TF5 News #67 we talked about a trailer listing for ‘Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them’ including a Transformers: The Last Knight trailer, and while some claim to have seen a trailer along side Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them, and we received a promotional video from IMAX showing off some Transformers: The Last Knight footage, it appears that there is no trailer yet attached to any movie. Until now.
Michael Bay released a short video on the Transformers official Twitter page, revealing that the first trailer for Transformers: The Last Knight will be attached to the movie ‘Rogue One: A Star Wars Story.’ Alongside this announcement Michael Bay also clarified on Instagram saying that the IMAX video of Transformers was not the official trailer, and that it was just a promotional video to talk about the use of IMAX 3D for the film.
2. New photos of Optimus Prime toy from Transformers 5
In TF5 News #66 we talked about Hasbro releasing an official toy video that showed off the Transformers: The Last Knight Voyager class Optimus Prime figure from their upcoming toy line. Well now the official Instagram of the the Transformers toy brand showed off an official photo of the character being posed. Alongside this official photo popping up, some other photos of the figure thanks to www.Seibertron.com have appeared online, giving us a close of shots of the toy. From all photos you can find online, the figure appears to have very glossy blue and red colors, and looks very metallic.

Transformers 5 News TF5 #67
Hello viewers, here is some more Transformers 5 news.
We apologize for the lack of news on the production of Transformers: The Last Knight. 1919 Studios is committed to finishing out the coverage of Transformers 5 movie news, and will continue to do so for the foreseeable future. Some of this news you may read on here may be old, now irrelevant, or perhaps things you’ve already heard, We appreciate you staying with us.
1. Isabela Moner teases trailer release
As talked about in TF5 News #66, Isabela Moner returned to the Transformers 5 set for additional filming, and uploaded some photos to the ofical Transformers Snapchat account. Well it appears that one of those photos she uploaded had her saying that a Transformers: The Last Knight trailer would be shown on her Instagram page soon.
A full length trailer with a run-time of 2 minutes and 1 second has also been approved by distributors and Paramount Pictures, and we can expect to see a full length trailer soon after Isabela Moner posts her short trailer to Instagram.
2. Michael Bay not directing Transformers 6
Transformers 6, tentatively known as ‘The Bumblebee Movie’ is a spin-off movie from the Transformers series based solely around Bumblebee. While you may already know this, what you might not know is that this is the first live-action Transformers movie that Michael Bay will not direct. While there has been no confirmation from Paramount, Hasbro, or Michael Bay himself, it would be quite impossible for him to handle both movies.
The reason why is because since Transformers 6 is set for a summer 2018 release date, Michael Bay would have to be doing pre-production on Transformers 6 right now, while still handling post production, marketing, and press for Transformers: The Last Knight.
A finished draft of the script for Transformers 6 has been sent into the studio (subject for re-writes), and soon the quest for a director of the film will take place.
3. IMAX releases Transformers promotional video
To celebrate 10 years of working with Paramount/Hasbro on the Transformers films, IMAX released a video talking about how their brand has grown since the partnership, and how Transformers has also benefited as well. In this video though, little behind the scenes clips and shots were shown from Transformers: The Last Knight. These shots included:
3.1. A shot of Bumblebee and Barricade driving side-by-side (presumably filming a chase scene) with Michael Bay and a second unit director filming inside of a stunt version of Bumblebee while Mark Wahlberg hangs out the side of the car.
3.2. Shots of cars running into each other, exploding, flipping, and crashing. One of these shots is also from taken from the perspective of someone else in an unharmed car watching the crash, so basically through a windshield.
3.3. A shot of medieval knights fighting and being blown backwards.
3.4. A shot of Anthony Hopkins walking towards a helicopter at Stonehenge.
3.5. A shot of armed forces getting ready to roll out.
3.6. A shot of soldiers fighting on a battlefield around Cybertronian structures on the ground. The structures resemble the hexagonal shape of Cybertron from Transformers: Dark Of The Moon.
3.7. A shot of those same soldiers on that same battlefield running and being flown from explosions.
3.8. A shot of Mark Wahlberg running through that same battlefield in a flight suit.
3.9. A shot of a vault, what appears to be from a bank being blown up.
3.10. Another shot of more medieval soldiers charging on horseback.
3.11. A shot of armed forces being launched backwards by an explosion that seemed to take place during the Detroit filming.
3.12. A shot of Isabela Moner looking at a group of explosions (presumably with a Decepticon in them, as Mark Wahlbeg comes running through and gets her out of the way.
And that’s it! The whole video has been analyzed. And you should go watch it for yourself because it is awesome.
4. Trailer listing for Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them includes Transformers: The Last Knight Trailer.
A list of trailers set to play before the movie ‘Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them includes an IMAX exclusive trailer of Transformers: The Last Knight, which is presumably the video we just analyzed above, so we may expect to see some Transformers 5 footage during Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them. It also points towards this as the trailer time was cleared for 2 minutes and 1 second, and the IMAX promotional video was also 2 minutes and 1 second long.

1. Filming taking place at Paramount Studios back-lot in Los Angeles
The official hairstylist of the movie production, Yiotis Panayiotou shared a photo on his Instargram that shows them shooting at Paramount. The official Transformers Instagram page also shared some photos of the shoot, showing off some explosions.
2. Isabela Moner returns for more filming
The actress uploaded some photos of herself to the official Transformers Snapchat account, which showed her either getting ready or taking a break from filming.
3. Hasbro video shows Optimus Prime toy and new pictures
A video uploaded by Hasbro to their official YouTube page shows them discussing toys, and what’s to come next from their toy lines. Eventually the conversation went to Transformers: The Last Knight figures, and showed off the Voyager class Optimus Prime figure. The leaked photos of the toy we talked about in TF5 News #64 appear to be true, as the figure looks to be identical.
Alongside the toy a new CG rendered image of Optimus Prime from Transformers: The Last Knight was show, and while he may have slightly changed forearm armor, he looks very similar to how he did in Transformers: Age Of Extinction.
