Season 7 Cast Change
Season 7 Cast
Main Cast Grant Gustin as Barry Allen/ The Flash, Harrison Sherloque Wells, Harrison "H.R." Wells, Wells the Grey, and Dr. Harrison "Harry" Wells. Candice Patton as Iris West-Allen Danielle Panabaker as Dr. Caitlin Snow and Frost Carlos Valdes as Cisco Ramon/Mecha-Vibe Jesse L. Martin as Captain Joe West Danielle Nicolet as Defense Attorney Cecile Horton Brandon McKnight as Chester P Runk Tom Cavanagh as Nash Wells, Dr. Harrison Wells, Dr. Harrison "Harry" Wells, Harrison Sherloque Wells, Harrison "H.R." Wells, Harrison Orson Wells, Dr. Harrison Wells, and Professor Eobard Thawne/Reverse Flash Sara Garcia as Alexa Rivera/Fuerza Ennis Esmer as Bashir Malik/Psych Christian Magby as Deon Owens/Timeless
Recurring Cast: Efrat Dor as Eva McCulloch/Mirror Monarch and Dr. Eva McCulloch Kayla Compton as Allegra Garcia Victoria Park as Kamilla Hwang Michelle Harrison as the Speed Force and Joan Williams Morena Baccarin as Gideon (voice) Carmen Moore as Kristan Kramer Teddy Sears as The Forever Force Karan Oberoi as August Heart/Godspeed Keiynan Lonsdale as Wally West John Wesley Shipp as Jay Garrick Jessica Parker Kennedy as Nora West-Allen/XS Jordan Fisher as Bart Allen/Impulse
Main Cast and Chester: Barry, Iris, Cisco, Caitlin/Frost, Joe, Cecile, and Harrison Wells are already apart of main cast and Chester in the season will replace Cisco.
Allegra Garcia: Allegra Garcia is a character I do like but she didn’t do anything. She shouldn’t have been in the main cast last season. And her episode/storyline didn’t save her character. How about you to save her cousin for season 8.
Alexa, Bashir, and Deon: Alexa Rivera, Bashir Malik, and Deon Owens are very interesting but their storyline really ruined their characters. How about make them main characters so they could get more scenes with Barry and more character development if they want this whole family dynamic to work.
Mirror Mistress being a part of main cast is a joke. She not really needed as main character.
Teddy Spears/The Forever force: Yeah the guy that plays Zoom aka Hunter Zolomon. It correspond to him being the force in comic. But actor used as a disguise for forever like speedforce with Nora.
Wally West: Obviously because he didn’t appear in the Godspeed civil war.

The Flash: The Family of Speed
[WARNING: Spoilers Ahead for The Flash Season 7 Episode 17 "Heart of the Matter Part 1"]
CW series The Flash just hit a milestone, their 150th episode aired yesterday, July 13, 2021, and it was one of most anticipated episodes of the 7th season.
As shown in the epilogue of the 16th episode last week, Barry (Grant Gustin) was visited by his grown-up daughter Nora (Jessica Parker Kennedy). While he seemed happy to see her, he was not expecting a visit from his grown-up son Bart (Jordan Fisher).
In the opening of this week's episode, Nora and Bart were in 2049, fighting GodSpeed, a villainous speedster who has it out for Bart. In the present timeline, the two young speedsters were welcomed by Team Flash members Chester (Brandon McKnight), Caitlin (Danielle Panabaker) and Cecille (Danielle Nicolet). One of my favorite moments in the episode was when Bart opening up to Barry and Iris (Candice Patton) and telling them that Godspeed was his arch-nemesis. Jordan portrayed the character so well that the viewers can really see Bart's anger towards Godspeed. Allegra (Kayla Compton) coping with the death of her cousin Esperanza (guest star Alexa Barajas) was also addressed, which I really appreciated.
Of course, the team can't fight many villains alone, so they had to call in a few reinforcements like beloved Team Flash member Francisco "Cisco" Ramon (Carlos Valdes) and Jay Garrick (John Wesley Shipp). The re-appearance of these 2 characters brought joy to fans, as they were some of the fan-favorite characters throughout the show. I honestly cried when Cisco appeared because I really love his character so much.
Towards the end of the episode, the real Godspeed was introduced and was known by the name of August Heart (Karan Oberoi) when Barry had to go Inception-mode and enter the mind of Heart, which I personally found interesting. This then ended on a cliffhanger, which gripped fans for an epic season finale next week, July 20, 2021.
One thing that I really loved watching in this episode was the family dynamics that existed between Barry, Iris, Nora and Bart. They really made me feel like they are an actual family who really exists in reality. Also, Barry and Iris addressing problems like actual parents made me want them to be actual parents.
Being a fan of this show for 5 years, I really love it when the show continues to expand their horizons and (re) introduce well-loved characters in a new way. I will continue to support and watch the show until it ends because I love the characters, the cast and crew who put so much work into bringing these characters to life. Sometimes, storylines may be a bit off and not in line with the main arc but it can be easily put back on track with the help of some "filler" episodes which while not serving the main arc, it can be found as a step to further understand why a character is who he/she is.
I will continue to spread love about the show and its cast and crew because they are the reason why The Flash is one of my most favorite shows in the universe. Kudos to everyone who works hard to bring these comic-book characters to life.
The Flash airs Tuesdays at 8/7 central on The CW.
