May felt longer than it needed to be. Thought I did finally get a job and finished my frist year of college. Now I just stuffed with the heat wait for work....

'*•.¸♡ Movies♡¸.•*'
El Camnio Dir. Vince Gilligan
I watch this a few days after fishing brecking bad, and the only way i could describe it would be sadly satisfying. I'm just watching this chraater who was beaten down constantly by life and just desperately trying to move on, and it is just so good. I could talk for ages about how tod treats jesse and what it means. errgrgegegeg. 8/10
Tumblr media
Young Adult(2011) Dir. Jason Reitman
The Meyerowitz Stories Dir. Noah Baumbach
Knowing it from the one quote about parents you always see on Tumbler Post. Ya know the one. But ya it so good. I love how it expore, not nessaily abuse parents, but just shitty and how that lack of love or support can affect someone. Thought i would say that for one of the siblings (kinda spoliers?) it make a point about how I forgot they were in a way there sibilng never was and then... never gave them a story?? Like it was just like there were there, talk about their reasonship with there shitty father, and then move on to how it effcted the other two sllblings. While with the other two they showed many time there reaship with their father. I dont i was just confused that one part. It's still a good movie. I'm just kinda confused. 8/10
I liked this. It feels like watching a train wreck, someone who so stuck in the past that they think that everyone is as stuck as they are, and how that stubborn can affect every aspect of a person life. Idk i think it's really interesting to think about, esapalliy the main charater. 8/10
Tumblr media
White Chicks (2004) Dir. Keenen Ivory Wayans
Silly goofy thought it was funny. 2000 in the best and worst ways 5/10
Tumblr media
The Lovebirds Dir. Michael Showalter
ahh, this is probably the 5th timI've rewatched this flim. It is just my favrotie comfore movie. I i just love coming back to it. Probayeb, my favourite romcom ever. 9/10
Nightcrawler Dir. Dan Gilroy
This man would listen to business bro podcasts and be too into American pyhco. I liked it. The main thing i love was the music. It scored like of those big success stories, but everything shows Horrfic, so at times, can give you this very off-putting feeling. It is just everything about the story, and the main character was made to put you off in some way, and I love it. 7/10
˚ ༘♡ ⋆。˚T.v shows˚ ༘♡ ⋆。˚
I watched it all in a day while working on a painting, and it was ok??, idk, think it has that problem that i can't really put my figure on, but it is the same one that couldn't get me into fleagbag, i guess. I found the main couple be insuffable in a way that i didn't want them to end up together and actively hoped they ended off worse than when the show started. I like a lot of the secondary relationships thought. I read a bit about and it said that it was originally a play and i think probaly would have liked it more if i watch it as a play 5(maybe less the more i think about it)/10

Grace Van
Grace Van Patten Movies and TV Shows, Wiki, Biography, Boyfriend, Age, Height, Net Worth
American actress Grace Van Patten has built a name for herself in the industry through a variety of roles that have left a deep effect on audiences. This article explores Grace Van Patten’s remarkable life and career, highlighting her notable accomplishments, personal life and much more.
Grace Van Patten Wiki / Biography
Grace Van Patten was born in New York City, USA, on November 21, 1996. She was born into a family with deep connections to the world of entertainment. As the eldest of three daughters of director and producer Timothy Van Patten, Grace was destined to have a unique path in the industry. Her family tree is adorned with notable actors, including her uncle, Dick Van Patten, and Talia Balsam, an actress, is her cousin and the daughter of Joyce Van Patten.
Early Career
She made her television debut on the crime drama series “The Sopranos,” which her father directed, when she was only eight years old. Her early talent was displayed in her role as Ally, the gangster’s daughter.
Grace made an appearance in “Boardwalk Empire,” another series her father directed, in 2014.
She declined admission to the University of Southern California, choosing to perform in New York City and enroll in psychology and philosophy classes at a community college. When she was offered a job during the academic year, she postponed the classes.
The Silver Screen Beckons
Her role as Ellie in her debut, Netflix romantic comedy “Tramps,” which had its world premiere at the 2016 Toronto International Film Festival, was one of her defining moments. As she took on roles in films like the criminal drama “Stealing Cars” and the horror thriller “Central Park,” her skills continued to shine.
Grace played Eliza in Noah Baumbach’s comedy-drama “The Meyerowitz Stories (New and Selected),” which premiered at the 2017 Cannes Film Festival. Her performance in the movie as a sexually explicit short-film maker student at Bard College demonstrated her range as an actress.
Grace Van Patten made her stage debut in the Off-Broadway production of “The Whirligig” by Hamish Linklater by The New Group. With performers like Zosia Mamet, this marked her entry into live performances.
Grace’s career in film continued when she co-starred with renowned actors Glenn Close, John Malkovich, Patrick Stewart, and Minnie Driver in the romantic comedy “The Wilde Wedding” in 2017.
Breakthrough Roles
Grace Van Patten’s flexibility as an actress was shown when she co-starred in David Robert Mitchell’s murder thriller “Under the Silver Lake” with prominent actors such as Riley Keough and Andrew Garfield.
Variety magazine named Grace one of the “10 Actors to Watch” in 2017, recognizing her enormous skill and strengthening her place in the industry.
She made a strong acting debut in the fall of 2018 as Joan of Arc opposite Glenn Close in “Mother of the Maid” at The Public Theater. She continues to play a variety of roles including the lead opposite Jovan Adepo in Kerem Sanga’s drama “The Violent Heart.” in 2020.

I watched 30 movies in 2022 – down from 46 last year. Here they are, ranked in order. Most of them can be found on Netflix or Amazon Prime Video. I also ranked the shows I watched this year.
The Forgotten Battle -- Dutch-language film with subtitles. I appreciated that the movie included real-world military strategy, and it showed war from the front lines as well as from the civilians’ perspective. It managed to touch on the resistance without making it more than it was, and most impressive of all, the film humanized a character fighting for the wrong side without making him a complete saint.
To the Bone -- Usually movies about disorders, diseases, or issues in general are so focused on shedding light on those things that they forget to care about actual plot or character development, but this one did a great job on all fronts.
The King -- War in the 15th century was ridiculous, but fun to watch.
The Great Gatsby (2013) -- Baz Luhrman was the perfect filmmaker for the glitz and glam of the 1920s. The first 45 minutes of the movie was fantastic. My hangups were the shortcomings of the story – Gatsby works best as a flawless person who doesn’t need love, which is an impossibility. Also, Daisy doesn’t get to make decisions? (I get it, it was the 1920s, but still.)
The Meyerowitz Stories -- [SPOILER ALERT, kind of] This felt like a Wes Anderson story told by Noah Baumbach, if that makes sense. The characters’ behavior was too on the nose sometimes, but usually the humor of such behavior carried the scene. Great casting. Best scene was Hoffman running away from the gallery opening.
Other People -- Balances humor well with the emotional struggle that cancer brings. Probably the best acting I’ve ever seen from Molly Shannon. Also, Jesse Plemons is in every single movie, I think.
While We’re Young -- I’m scared by how much I related to the “older” couple in this movie.
The Lost Daughter -- Sad and beautiful and terrifying in multiple ways. “Children are a crushing responsibility.”
The Seige of Jadotville -- True story and military tactics and a band of Irish brothers against all odds. All my things.
The Devil All the Time -- Dark and sinister and a kind of underdog story. Robert Pattinson continues to successfully shake off his Twilightness.
The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society -- Cute, but with some real depth. I cried.
All Quiet on the Western Front -- The brilliance of this movie (novel) is that it shows what cannon fodder individual lives were in World War I, and it humanized the poor bastards who came of age in Nazi Germany.
Munich: The Edge of War -- [SPOILER ALERT] I never understood von Hartmann’s political position – too anti-Hitler for Lena, who is also anti-Hitler? – and so it was hard for me to get his motivation at times.
War Machine -- Fantastic thesis, humorous at times, but from an overall entertainment perspective…mostly dry.
Licorice Pizza -- Man, what I wouldn’t give to see Phillip Seymour Hoffman in this movie.
Hustle -- I love Adam Sandler in dramatic roles. This one started out at a 4.5, ended up at a 1.5. Sports training montage situation.
The Master -- Phillip Seymour Hoffman and Joaquin Phoenix are always brilliant, but I felt like this one dragged a bit. I never felt like we were building toward anything, which was probably the point, but the entertainment value suffered because of it.
The Adam Project -- Playful in a Ryan Reynolds sort of way, has some heart.
I Came By -- I could probably watch George MacKay and Kelly MacDonald in anything. Without them, this is your standard thriller.
The Power of the Dog -- [SPOILER ALERT] The characters pulled complete 180s. Phil was a complete asshole who turned out to just be a closeted gay man? And chaste Rose became an instant alcoholic without her husband stepping in? Doubtful.
IO -- Dystopia fix. Full of improbabilities and character behavior that didn’t make sense. But I liked seeing the girl from Maid in something else.
Hail; Caesar! -- Only worth it for the subtle quirkiness.
Sorry to Bother You -- Interesting premise and I enjoyed the quirkiness, but ultimately the story grew tiresome.
Windfall -- Interesting to see Jason Segel in a role like this, but otherwise, there wasn’t much here for me.
The Colony -- Dystopia fix. Full of improbabilities and character behavior that didn’t make sense.
Sand Castle -- Cliched. And the military consultant or whatever should be fired. “Hoo-AAAAHHH.”
The Ballad of Buster Scruggs -- These vignettes felt like incomplete ideas.
World War Z -- It’s been so long that this movie was marketed to me that I forgot it was a zombie flick. By the time I realized it, I was too tired to keep searching for something else to watch.
Stillwater -- Had faith in Matt Damon to choose good movies. He did not do so here. Cliched out, and so many things that didn’t make sense. How did he afford to stay in a hotel in Europe for so long?
Blade Runner (1982) -- I have no doubt this movie had a major impact when it originally hit theaters, but forty years later, it did nothing for me. (Except maybe highlighting Ray Finkle’s early work.)
See previous years’ lists here: 2021, 2020, 2019, 2018, 2017.

ok so here are my ratings of all the adam sandler movies I've seen:
Going Overboard (1989): 0/10 somehow this movie has a budget of 800,000 dollars and still looks like it was shot on an ipod in someone's garage in 2009. not funny not sexy. zero stars.
Billy Madison (1995): solid 4/10, pretty stupid and has a lot of dumb jokes but that's why it's fun.
The Wedding Singer (1998): 9/10 actually a pretty cute and funny romcom. I watched this one with my parents.
The Waterboy (1998): 7/10 adam was really killing it in '98. waterboy is a classic, again with dumb jokes and again that's why it's fun. I haven't watched it in several years so my memory is shotty but I remember it being better than most of his movies
Big Daddy (1999): 7/10 it's cute. I bought a DVD copy of this film to give to my dad on father's day once
Little Nicky (2000): 10/10 this movie is so so so fucking funny because it is ATROCIOUS. but I'm sure it was written as a weird satirical take on christianity and that alone gives it an automatic five stars. there's a scene where little nicky dissolves into thousands of spiders with adam sandler's face on them.
50 First Dates (2004): 6/10 it's ok
Click (2006): 8/10 again with the weird satirical adam sandler movies. I absolutely refuse to believe the writers of this one weren't laughing their asses off while making it. it's funny because it's bad.
I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry (2007): 5/10 for some reason my lesbian friend really wanted me to watch this and I did and it was ok? some scenes were very hard to sit through but I guess the part where adam sandler says gay people deserve rights is good
Bedtime Stories (2008): 10/10 a classic. cute!
Funny People (2009): 10/10 not only is it genuinely pretty well written, not only is the acting believable, not only is it a weird introspective take on adam sandlers life, not only is the score so sexy, but jason schwartzman is sooo hot in it. you guys know how I get about douchey jason characters and mark taylor jackson was probably the second of his roles I felt really attracted to. if I keep thinking about him I'll start moaning like a cat in heat so I'll move on.
Grown Ups (2010): 5/10 alternative title: adam sandler gets paid to chill with his friends
Just Go With it (2011): 4/10 it was ok.
Hotel Transylvania (2012): 9/10 again cute
Blended (2014): 5/10 for some reason I thought this was the same movie as just go with it and now I'm remembering that this one is the one where adam sandler goes on safari and just go with it is the one where he faked his own death. bumping down both. wait no what the fuck no it isn't. are blended and just go with it the same movie. which one is the one where adam sandler fakes his own death?
Hotel Transylvania 2/3 (2015, 2018): like solid 6/10 I don't even care enough to rank them seperately
The Meyerowitz Stories (New and Selected) (2017): 8/10 genuinely a good movie.
Murder Mystery (2019): 5/10 whatever
Hubie Halloween (2020): 5/10 I watched this with my then-roommate and about ten minutes in she got up and left and didn't come back.
thank you for your time
i love ur list bestie and i agree with the ones ive seen 4 sure. im watching hubie halloween as we speak and it sure is a movie. im pretty sure blended and just go with it r different movies, tbh i would have to bump down every movie that includes a refernce to adam sandlers odd earlobe kink
