The Factions

The Castle-Omi Alliance (城-近江連合)

Despite the fact that the original Omi Alliance was dissolved in the great dissolution, Two splinter factions rose from it. The Tokyo-Omi Alliance and The Castle Omi Alliance.

The Castle Omi Alliance heavily differs from both the original and Tokyo-Omi Alliance because it's more of a governing body similar to a monarchy. The person would be King is Joryu who managed to defeat the other factions like The Four Kings to establish the Joryu Clan as the face of the Alliance. The executives are the presidents that give out match types for contestants that participate in the Coliseum. Other executives include brokers and investors who bring in fighters to the factions.

The Joryu Clan (女流会)

The Ruling Faction of The Castle Omi Alliance. Established in 2019, It established its dominance after the former ruling family: Kijin Clan was exiled off The Castle and The Four Kings of the Castle were defeated by Chairman Joryu. It recruited fighters, Yakuza, Detectives and eccentric entertainers in its ranks.

The Castle-Tojo Clan (城-東城会)

A Subsidiary of The Joryu Clan. It has former original Tojo Members making up its ranks and only had two subsidiaries under its names. The larger clan is responsible for security in many of The Castle's Facilities and being prominently featured in the Gambling Halls and Casinos. It's led by Tojo Clan Chairman Daigo Dojima.

The Majima Family is responsible for constructing and maintenance of the ship and is led by Majima Family Patriarch Goro Majima and Captain Gary Buster Holmes.

The Saejima Family is responsible for protecting the denizens that live there but mostly prioritize in protecting both the male and female sex workers, hostesses and strippers aboard The Castle. They make sure that the owners of the Cabret Clubs, Strip Clubs and Brothels pay their workers and making sure security is air-tight.

Majima, Saejima and Dojima serve as the last line of defense to the Chairman of the Joryu Clan and will be the very first people to test the Chairmen's Strength during his rule.

The Oni Syndicate (鬼陣営)

A direct subsidiary of The Castle Omi Alliance. It is the rival of The Joryu Clan and are comprised of members wearing demon or animal masks. No one knows the identities of its members and it won't matter because the entire point of the group is to be a black ops militia who wants control over The Castle.

The Castle Four Kings （キャッスル4キングス）

Formerly the leading faction of The Castle. The Four Kings were the highest ranked fighters in the Coliseum at The Castle. The Four Kings spent years at top of the Coliseum's hierarchy, having never been defeated until Chairman Joryu came and exiled the Kijin Clan. The de facto leader of the group is the former number one ranked fighter Kiyoshi Ugajin, Below him are JUSTICE1975, a man who fights in mech armor, Kunimitsu Samejima, an international hitman, and Dan Brody, an American assassin and former circus clown.

They will constantly test Joryu's and his clan reign but will assist him in incidents that would put The Castle at harm and are a direct subsidiary of The Castle's Omi Alliance.

Minamida IF9 Group (IF9派閥)

A famous inventor created an army of robots that were able to replicate Yakuza Legends moveset. They merely exist as tests to those who called themselves Kings and and those that dare to test their might. They're only active when there is no active Undisputed King or by initiating fights with the bots. The group was funded by the Amon Clan. Minamida serves as figurehead of the group and will only appear when wanting to speak to those who would initiate a fight with his bots. The bots themselves are owned by The Castle Omi Alliance. The software is owned by both the Amon Clan and Minamida himself.

The Daidoji Faction (大道寺一派)

The Daidoji Faction is a secret political faction that Joryu is aligned with. They are the major benefactor of the current state of The Castle Omi Alliance. After Joryu was granted a vacation for an indefinite amount of time, he would continue to run The Castle where he would establish a symbiotic relationship with them where they keep The Castle out of the media in return for him hosting politicians and workers who are aligned with the Daidoji Faction.

Akame Network (赤目ネットワーク)

A vast information network that is based in Sotenbori and comprises of homeless people and Yakuza. They fulfill odd requests from the citizens of Sotenbori in return they get money, housing and food. It's main and only subsidiary are the Kyokuso Family (極蒼組) who were the Akame Network's main rival before being forcefully integrated into the Network by Joryu and The Castle's Four Kings. They supply Joryu Clan with missions outside of The Castle.

Main Charcters

Taichi Suzuki AKA Joryu and "The Cleansed Dragon" and "The Man Who Erased His Name". Former Daidoji Agent and asset to the Akame Network. He is the King of The Castle and Chairman of the leading faction The Joryu Clan. He can be OOC but must keep traits like stoicism, snarky remarks and fearlessness along with a sense of justice aka Gangster with a Heart of Gold. (This is an A.U. Not the main canon). Not much is known about him. Some day he was a legendary Yakuza, others say he was a skilled cab driver.

Lil' Ryuji Goda is known by denizens as "The Strongest Impressionists", The Golden Dragon" and "Dragon of the Castle". He is a Korean former impressionist turned fighter who idolized Go-Ryu Clan Patriarch Ryuji Goda. After the death of Ryuji he would get plastic surgery and do underworld work which made the rumors of Ryuji Goda still being alive. He gets his ass kicked by Joryu, a year after entering the Kijin Clan as a fighter for The Coliseum and since then worked hard to rise through the ranks again. He would reluctantly join The Joryu Clan in order to get stronger and live up to Ryuji Goda's legacy while creating his own as "The Dragon of The Castle." He eventually would gain the rank of Lieutenant Advisor.

Daigo Dojima is the former Tojo Clan Sixth Chairman and Final Chairman, current Chairman of The Castle-Tojo Clan and Captain of The Joryu Clan. He was integrated in the Castle's hierarchy after his security control company failed and Watase opened up a food shop with old Omi Alliance executives. Daigo's goal is to save as much Yakuza who are being hunted down by prejudice government factions that aren't aligned with the Daidoji Faction.

Goro Majima AKA "The Mad Dog of Shimano", Patriarch of The Majima Family and Lieutenant advisor of The Castle-Tojo Clan. Brought into the fold of The Castle-Tojo Clan, his family is in charge of keeping the city of The Castle running due to his construction background.

Taiga Saejima AKA "18 Counts Saejima" and "Tiger of Sasai", Patriarch of the Saejima Family and Captain of The Castle-Tojo Clan. He is in charge of a special security force that protects the sex workers, hosts and hostesses and denizens of The Castle.

Toru Higashi AKA "Merciful Daggerman" is a former member of Tojo Clan's Matsugane Family and is currently a member and a Lieutenant of The Castle-Tojo Clan. He was exiled out of Kamurocho after a live streamer accused him of shady dealings with the current Tokyo criminal underworld, forcing him to close his arcade Charles up. Daigo reaches out to integrate him into the The Castle-Tojo Clan.

Masaharu Kaito AKA "The Meathead Detective" is a former Kamurocho Detective who was forced to go into hiding after being accused of shady dealings with criminal gangs. He was recruited into The Castle-Joryu Clan as its lieutenant when on the run from being constantly targeted by the wider public. He no longer interacts with Director Yagami out of fear of painting a target on his back. He runs the investigation force on The Castle, helping denizens mostly.

Fumiya Sugiura AKA "Jester". He is a former member of a band of thieves in Kamurocho. He eventually became a Private Detective but was exiled out of Yokohama after his past was leaked to the public. Despite him turning to the side of good, he was chastised and his office ruined by a disgruntled public. He eventually was recruited into The Castle-Tojo Clan as a Lieutenant by Toru Higashi. He would eventually become a member of The Joryu Clan after he stole documents from the Oni Syndicate that would indicate a terrorist attack in The Castle.

Akame of The Akame Network. "Sotenbori's Jack-Of-All-Trades" Operator and Director of Akame Network. She is a benefactor of the Joryu Clan and gives contracts to Joryu Clan members to assist her with helping civilians in Osaka's Sotenbori.

Kihei Hanawa, Manger of The Daidoji Faction. He was in charge of managing Agent Joryu during his missions. He would later become a liaison between The Joryu Clan and Daidoji Faction due to Joryu maintaining both his cover and funding the Daidoji Faction as he reigned as The Castle's King.

Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy’s TMRW Sports today announced TGL, a new tech-infused golf league in partnership with the PGA TOUR. TGL will showcase team matches fusing advanced tech and live action from a custom-built venue in primetime on Monday nights, which will complement the current PGA TOUR schedule. Woods and McIlroy are the first two golfers committed to compete and the league’s inaugural season will kick off in January 2024. The announcement was made today by Woods, McIlroy, and TMRW Sports CEO and founder Mike McCarley.

TGL, the golf league of TMRW Sports, will feature:

Teams: Six teams of three PGA TOUR players; Tech-Infused Venue: A first-of-its-kind experience for golf enabled by a data-rich, virtual course complete with a tech-infused, short-game complex; Tech-Enabled Fan Experience: High-energy, greenside fan experience with every shot live within a 2-hour, primetime televised match; Season: 15 regular season Monday night matches followed by semifinals and finals matches, kicking off in January 2024

Woods said: ��TGL is the next evolution within professional golf, and I am committed to helping lead it into the future. Embracing technology to create this unique environment gives us the ability to move our sport into primetime on a consistent basis alongside so many of sports’ biggest events. As a big sports fan myself, I’m excited about blending golf with technology and team elements common in other sports. We all know what it’s like to be in a football stadium or a basketball arena where you can watch every play, every minute of action unfold right in front of you. It’s something that inherently isn’t possible in traditional golf — and an aspect of TGL that will set it apart and appeal to a new generation of fans.”
