★ Main Story | Act 13 - Budding Spring | Chapter 23 - International Minister of Arts and Culture
Kazunari: Ah, the livestream started!
Muku: Is Citron-sama really going to walk the red carpet?
Kazunari: All I’m seeing is overseas celebs so far~.
Kumon: I’m getting kinda excited!
Misumi: There’s Citron~!
Muku: Waah, he’s so dignified and cool…!
Tenma: He really does look like royalty like this.
Kazunari: I’ll snap a commemorative screenshot~.
Taichi: Is the interview in English? It’s crazy that Citron’s speaking without an interpreter!
Guy: This is a good opportunity to showcase the Kingdom of Zahra to notable figures in the culture and entertainment fields. It is most effective to communicate with those people in their own language.
Guy: Citronia has acquired foreign language skills to a certain degree for diplomatic purposes.
Banri: Even so, he’s completely different from the usual Citron.
Banri: Can switchin’ to a different language really make that much of a difference?
Guy: In his position, you must have a good outward appearance to a certain degree.
Guy: However, when he speaks Japanese, he is able to somewhat let his inner personality out more.
Banri: Yeah, I think he’s lettin’ it out a lil’ too much…
Tenma: I’m kind of surprised that he’s been able to keep it in at all.
· • —– ٠ ✤ ٠ —– • ·
Citron: 《As the people of Zahra have become increasingly more interested in them, we would like to invite many excellent theatrical and musical performances from overseas to the Kingdom of Zahra.》
Citron: 《I myself belong to a Japanese theater company called MANKAI Company, which has performed overseas in the Kingdom of Zahra.》
Citron: 《Based on that experience, I believe that we can be of great help in terms of support for overseas companies.》
Citron: 《We hope to have many new encounters through this.》
*Applause*
Arts Festival Participant A: 《I have not yet had the experience of visiting your country. I have always hoped to have an opportunity like this someday.》
Citron: 《We look forward to your visit. We have many theater fans among our people, and they will certainly give you a very warm welcome.》
Arts Festival Participant B: 《I have heard much of your success, Prince Citronia. My impression of the Kingdom of Zahra being a more open nation has strengthened thanks to you.》
Citron: 《A little wanderlust can be very useful sometimes.》
Arts Festival Participant A: 《Hahaha. Right, I will be starting a new project to combine theater with the latest in AI technology and--.》
· • —– ٠ ✤ ٠ —– • ·
Citron: …Phew.
Citron: (I’m almost through with the greetings.)
Citron: (After all, if we look beyond Japan and Zahra, we can see that even if we just limit our scope to focus on theater, there is still a diverse range of development all around.)
Citron: (It is stimulating to actively go to places like these.)
Citron: (A whole new door, huh… That reminds me, I wonder if everyone in Spring Troupe watched the broadcast.)
· • —– ٠ ✤ ٠ —– • ·
TorORo has entered the chat.
Saku: He said MANKAI Company!
tsuzuru: It’s pretty amazing to hear your name mentioned at an international arts festival
Curry: citron’s here
tsuzuru: I can’t even begin to tell you how many times I’ve read “TorORo” and wondered who that is
taruchi: skill issue
UC: Aren’t you in the middle of the arts festival right now?
TorORo: i amn on a rake!
Curry: break?
taruchi: the gap’s insane
tsuzuru: That’s our Citron-san
Saku: But it’s kinda a relief!
tsuzuru: It’s like you were a whole different person during the stream
UC: There was a lot of excitement in the company LIME chat too. They were all watching from the lounge.
TorORo: evenb thouvgh we’re aparnt, it is likeb we arbe in rhe same confessional
taruchi: confessional lmfaooo

A3! Event Story Translation “Ah, My Dearly Beloved” [ Chapter 3 ]
We have a very special guest star for today's episode.
Syu
Yo, hope I’m not intruding.
Chikage
Syu-san.
Itaru
RNG must be crazy for you to show up.
Syu
I was just passing by when I ran into this guy and he invited me in for a drink.
Guy
I heard from Azuma that we have some good local sake, so I took the liberty of inviting him over.
Syu
I came for the sake, but I also need to talk to you about something so it all ties in together.
Izumi
What about?
Syu
Ever heard of an inn called Sayuru Pavilion?
Izumi
It’s a famous long-established ryokan. The foliage there during autumn is popular so it’s hard to make a reservation…
Azuma
We were just talking about it earlier.
Syu
Talk about good timing. So you must’ve heard there’s a Noh stage there.
Azami
Yeah, we saw the pictures.
Syu
It’s basically just decoration now since it’s barely used, actors are only onstage once per year.
Chikage
Are you referring to the “Night Party” by any chance?
Syu
Hohh… So you know. That’s not typical information you’d see out in the open.
Chikage
Just learned some things brought up in work conversations.
There’s a group of influential people called the “Scarlet Poet Society”, they have an evening party where they gather in secret annually…
That’s as far as my knowledge goes about it.
Omi
It’s like something out of a drama or movie.
Itaru
That’s so IRL animecore.
Syu
Here’s the kicker.
Those night party performances that are performed on the Noh stage? Our troupe’s in charge of that every year.
Izumi
No way!?
Guy
How impressive.
Syu
We got asked to do it again this year, and the theme was “Four Seasons.”
I figured the MANKAI Company is a better match for the theme than us.
They got interested in the company since it was my old troupe and you guys won the Fleur Award.
Izumi
So Syu-san, what you needed to talk about was…?
Syu
How about you put on a play at that party instead of us?
Izumi
We’d love t—.
Syu
There’s one condition, however.
Sakyo
A condition?
Syu
The lead has to be a teenage boy. Don’t got a clue why it has to be different this time around.
Well, whatever’s up, the story’s not half bad.
Izumi
To be honest, I’m not sure if it’s alright to hold a soiree there, but if Syu-san recommends us personally then it shouldn’t be risky…
Sakyo
If Syu-san partners up with them every year, then they must be influential and not just some name.
It’s a great story too, it should be fine to take it up.
Izumi
Then it’s decided. …We’ll gladly take up your offer.
Syu
As you should.
Sakyo
And the script?
Syu
I’ll get it prepared for you. I know your style anyway.
Izumi
Thank you so much!
Azuma
…Well, now that all the work talk is over with.
Syu
Yeah, sorry for taking up so much of your time. Now that negotiations are in order, let’s get to stuffing our faces.
Guy
I shall get us some snacks.
Izumi
I’ll go help!
Azami
…Hey, Sakyo.
Sakyo
What?
Azami
That ryokan, Sayuru Pavilion… it feels familiar, have I been there when I was a kid?
Sakyo
…No, I don’t recall anything. Maybe it was before I joined, go ask the boss.
Azami
(That’s such a pain though.)
Chikage
I’m home.
Azami
Welcome back.
Chikage
Studying ancient literature?
Azami
Yeah, Itaru-san just went out ‘cause of a work call.
Chikage
I see. Sorry for disrupting your studying.
Azami
Whatever. It’s fine, I could use a break.
Chikage
…Are you having a hard time with it? Azami
Eh?
Chikage
It doesn’t look like you’re making much progress from the number of pages.
Azami
I mean…
Chikage
…Now what are you reeling back for?
Azami
It’s like a defense mechanism thing.
Chikage
Well, go take your time. I’m gonna eat dinner.
Azami
Sigh… I’ll never get what’s up with that guy…

[Event Story TL] Weeping Star On a Summer Night (Chapter 3)
Omi: Um.. is this marshmallow somen noodle alright?
click below to read more.
previous / next
Izumi: Ah, It’s here! The soumen noodle party is starting, everyone!
Sakuya: It looks good!
Sakyo: This was also prepared by Ginsenkai. We won’t run out of soumen noodles for the time being.
Banri: That means we’ll be eating these for a while huh. Feels like we’ll get bored soon enough.
Omi: I also thought that’d be the case, which is why I prepared varying dressing sauces.
Taichi: Knew we can count on you!
Juza: Thanks
Omi: Of course. I made a few Italian styled sauces and spicy korean style sauces… I also prepared a few condiments, so please eat as many as you’d like.
Muku: Wow, there are a lot of stars on this one, are these okras and eggs?[1]
Omi: Yep, since it’s Tanabata, I wanted to make something befitting of the season.
Izumi: The fact you made all of these variations makes me want to try them all.
Omi: If you guys have your own personal request, just tell me, alright?
Itaru: Speaking of which…Senpai, have you talked to them about that?
Chikage: For now, not yet. I was thinking about talking to the director after this but…since everyone’s gathered, I guess I should do it now.
Izumi: What’s up?
Chikage: Have you ever heard about “Weeping Island”?
Izumi: “Weeping Island”...? I think I’ve heard about it somewhere
Kazunari: It’s a famous remote Island where you can get to catch beautiful sights of stars ♪ If I’m not wrong, they’re also opening a big resort facility soon.
Chikage: You catch up quick as usual, Kazunari.
The truth is, our company had a hand in the development…
And the overseas theater troupe that was scheduled to act in the opening ceremony seems to have had an industrial strike, so they won’t be able to come on the scheduled day.
Yuki: …I can see where this is going.
Izumi: So, you’re saying now the offer is now given to Mankai Company to make an appearance…?
Chikage: As you might expect. Before, I was asked by the organizer through a connection from someone at work. What do you think?
Sakyo: Since it’s a big scale project, it’ll be a good opportunity for our theater company. Any conditions
Chikage: I knew you would say that, so I’ve made negotiations about the fees.
...
Chikage: And that’s all.
Izumi: That's all!?
Chikage: The schedule is quite tight, so I’ve put a lot of things into consideration. I suppose all that's left are the fee negotiations.
Izumi: I see, I think it’s enough, it’s favorable on our part. What does everyone else think?
Sakuya: I think it’s a good idea!
Masumi: …I’ll do as you decide.
Tenma: It’s definitely a great chance.
Though the appearing troupe members needs to be decided on.
Izumi: Now we can wrap it up!
Chikage: I’ll contact the organizer.
I will be filling him in regarding the details.
Azuma: A remote island where you can see stars, how romantic.
Homare: Feels as if I can obtain many poetic inspirations, perhaps I shall participate.
Hisoka: …I wonder why it is called Weeping Island.
Tasuku: It does seem like a strange name, now that you’ve said it.
Tsumugi: I wonder if there’s a reason for it…
Guy: Let’s look it up after this.
Omi: Um.. is this marshmallow somen noodle alright?
Troupe members: !?
Hisoka: Yeah, thanks.
Tasuku: Making weird combinations as usual…
Hisoka: It’s also soda flavored.
Tsumugi: Wouldn’t it be better if you just eat it normally…?
Homare: Perhaps even marshmallows compared to other condiments wouldn’t be any different to Hisoka-kun…
Hisoka: … Thank you for the food ♪
The next day
Hisoka: …So hot.
I think I've had enough with the marshmallow somen noodles from last night. I guess I’ll eat the noodles normally for lunch.
Outside
Juza: ….
Hisoka: …Juza, you look like you’re having trouble.
Juza: ——!
…Ah, Hisoka-san, it’s just you.
Hisoka: What’re you doing?
Juza: I was thinking about which wish to write.
Hisoka: You couldn’t come up with anything?
Juza: No, there’s too many just to squeeze one into one…
Hisoka: We’re the opposite then.
But I don’t think you really have to squeeze all of them into one.
There are probably others who wrote more than one in one sheet.
Juza: Yeah, since someone needs to at least take a sheet but, and it’s fine to write more than one but…
I guess, in my case, I always end up in a bad situation whenever I drink…
and my wish of wanting to become an actor already came true.
Hisoka: …I see
Also, you might get a heatstroke if you keep stressing under this weather. Do you want to go inside and eat the somen noodles while we’re at it?
Juza: Alright.
Was the marshmallow somen noodle from yesterday good?
Hisoka: …Do you want to try it out? I wouldn’t recommend it though.
Juza: …I think… I’ll do so.
※ [1]: the food muku mentioned were plants/veggie shaped like stars when cut, figured i should mention it since i also didn't know what okras were... if you're curious, here's a recipe i found!

Leitmotifs in yuyuyu3's climax sequence
youtube
Re-using portions of the opening in soundtracks isn't anything new, and this is definitely also the case for the Yuusha de Aru series. However, season 3 of yuyuyu takes this to different level, incorporating parts from each season's major opening. This track composed by Keiichi Okabe serves as the perfect send-off near the season's end, with it's theme of connecting the stories of all generations of heroes reflected in this track for the climax.
While much of the scene remains the same as in season 2, that version used a different track instead based on season 1's track Usuyukisou, sung by Emi Evans.
As a fan from season 1, this kind of callback is kind of insane and would probably go unnoticed by most viewers aside from the third season's opening. (This season aired in late 2021, while season 1 aired in in late 2014, that's a whole 7 years!!!!!)
Season 3: The Great Mankai Chapter - from 0:00 to 1:30
Ashita no Hana-tachi (アシタノナタチ lit. "Flowers of Tomorrow")
Season 2: Hero Chapter - from 1:59 to 3:05
Hanakotoba (ハナコトバ lit. "Language of Flowers")
Season 1: Yuuki Yuuna's Chapter - from 3:19 to 8:15
Hoshi to Hana (ホシトハナ lit. Stars and Flowers)
#yuyuyu#yuuki yuuna wa yuusha de aru#yuki yuna is a hero#i really shouldve made this post like a year+ ago sorry!!!!! but better late than never

Stardust Telepath #3 - Explosive Mechanic
Screenplay: RinRin Storyboard/Episode Direction: Shinichirou Ueda Animation Direction: Megumi Nagayama, Ryoutarou Takamura, Yuuta Masaki, Ken Mukaigawara Key Animation: Hiroyuki Shimizu, Megumi Nagayama, Maya Yoshida, Tatsuya Urano, Yuuta Masaki, Hiroshi Tanabe, Yousuke Sotoyama, Haruka Sakai, Manabu Kushibuchi, Takanori Suzuki, Satoshi Horisawa, Michitaka Yamamoto, Takahiro Ninagawa, Lilin Zhao, Haruki Ebisu, Yoshiko Nakamura, Kanoko Sakurai, Ryoutarou Takamura, Tetsuya Sunaga, Ken Mukaigawara, Junichi Hashimoto, Yuuichirou Kamura (Eyecatch: 街早智子)
I've wanted to talk about this show since I watched the first episode, but I couldn't find the time. Now we're at episode 3, and guess what? It's pretty great still. Kaori has been at the helm of the whole series at Studio Gokumi, showcasing the studio's in-house staff in a very strong way. Kaori's approach to adapting this series is fantastic; the show is very colorful, especially in its character designs. There are so many fun reactions and expressions that I just can't help but love. It's been a lot of fun so far, and Kaori's expressive and colorful direction is a great match for the series' character designer, Takahiro Sakai. You might have already seen his designs in Yuki Yuna is a Hero, or perhaps you've watched the recent Reborn as a Vending Machine, I Now Wander the Dungeon (I know I didn't). The designs are very flexible and simple, which works great with the more expressive moments. I mean, it's just so cute, and when combined with the color design, they really stand out to me as a big selling point of this anime.
The story itself is somewhat comparable to the recent Bocchi the Rock, if I had to mention something to compare, if you're a fan of shows dealing with social anxiety and featuring fun visuals, I would definitely recommend giving this a try.
Since the title does say this is a write-up on episode 3, I should probably start talking about episode 3. This is actually the first episode so far that Kaori didn't have a hand in from a boarding perspective, but the expressiveness and reactions were still present in this episode. While the usage of them and the colors weren't as bold as Kaori's usual style, I believe Shinichirou Ueda did a really good job, especially for the more serious or emotional moments of the episode.
Kaori relies on a lot of contrast or bright and simple elements over detailed backgrounds to make things pop. Every time they're a bit quirky or making a funny face, you'll notice it. Ueda's approach is a bit more cohesive, and I couldn't really find a word for it until I talked to my friend this morning, who mentioned that he noticed it, and he's absolutely right. Ueda takes a more environmental approach compared to Kaori, incorporating more variety in distance and layout size. For instance, he uses long empty halls to emphasize the distance Umika must cross to connect with Raimon. When Umika runs during the night, it's subtly matched by the soft stars in the sky. In contrast, Kaori might have been a bit more heavy-handed in how brightly the stars shine or how much they pop out. I think Ueda's approach is different in that he likes to make the entire scene a bit more unified in its look rather than having one element stand out more than the others. I like both Kaori and Ueda's styles very much, and I don't have a strong preference between the two. I just wanted to mention the differences I see in their approaches.
Returning to the production as a whole for a moment, I completely forgot to mention that, aside from the aesthetic direction and character designs, the show animates quite well. It's a very pleasing-looking show, at least to me. The production is very solid, and I think credit should be given to the talented in-house animators at Gokumi and the animation producer, Kenta Washikazi. He has only held this role for two shows prior to this one (Yuki Yuna is a Hero: The Great Mankai Chapter and Seton Academy), both of which also had solid production, so it's clear he knows what he's doing. He has brought on people like Kouta Sera, who appears to be fairly heavily involved in this show as a key animator so far, and he's extremely talented. For instance, he did the cut of Umiko floating up in the opening. It's a perfect mix of in-house staff and the talent Washikazi decided to bring on.

[ETERNAL GOD] - Haruto Asuka SR Card Story Translation
Ft. Haruto, Madoka, and Shift with cameos from Tsuzuru, Reni, and Oruto
A Playwright's Observation Diary (Haruto Ver.) - Chapter One
Tsuzuru: Right, once again, thanks for collaborating with me on the play. I really appreciated the opportunity.
Madoka: The feeling is mutual. Thank you for everything as well.
Tsuzuru: I wanted to talk more at the closing party, but the atmosphere made me a little tense, so I could barely get my words out as it was.
Tsuzuru: That’s why I’m glad we had a scriptwriter-only party today to celebrate our collab.
Madoka: I agree. I wanted to talk to you as well, so I’m glad we met up again.
Madoka: Like I said at the party…
Madoka: I was able to learn a lot from you while co-writing “Twin Kingdoms," so it ended up being a lot of fun.
Tsuzuru: I wholeheartedly agree. It was a great experience for me too, and I also had a lot of fun during the process.
Tsuzuru: There were so many times you caught me off-guard with your ideas. It was exciting watching you come up with scenes and lines I never would've imagined myself.
Tsuzuru: In the end, I pulled a lot inspiration from you.
Madoka: I thought your contributions were incredible as well.
Madoka: I can only hope to be as good as you someday.
Tsuzuru: Haha, thanks. I'm a little embarrassed to hear that.
Tsuzuru: I hope we can continue to inspire each other as fellow scriptwriters instead.
Madoka: O- of course!
Madoka: Although... I’m just starting out, so I’d like to learn a little more from you if that’s alright.
Madoka: Could I ask you a question?
Tsuzuru: Err, I’m still learning myself, but I'll try to answer it if I can.
Madoka: Ah, thank you so much.
Madoka: So… As an in-house playwright, what do you usually consider when writing a script?
Tsuzuru: Hmm, that’s a good question…
Tsuzuru: If I had to say, I probably think a lot about what each actor’s life is like.
Madoka: All of them?
Tsuzuru: Yeah. The more I know about a person, the more roles and storylines I can come up for them.
Madoka: I see...
[God Troupe Practice Room]
Reni: Alright, let’s begin the practice session.
Troupe Members: Yes sir!
Madoka: (Minagi said that the more I know about an actor, the more inspiration I’ll get, right?)
Madoka: (Hopefully by observing the troupe members during their practices, I’ll learn more about them.)
Madoka: (However, it’s kind of hard to focus on all of them at once. Maybe I should just pick one...)
Madoka: (Today, I’ll focus on…)
Madoka: (Got it! I’ll observe the actor everyone in the God Troupe relies on the most—Asuka Haruto.)
Haruto: For this scene, I think you could incorporate the characters’ relationship into the line delivery a little more.
Troupe Member A: Gotcha, let me try saying this one more time…
Haruto: There you go. Now, let’s discuss the blocking for the next scene…
Madoka: (As always, Haruto is ready to give advice and offer feedback to the other troupe members.)
Madoka: (He’s really become the heart of the God Troupe's practices, how amazing…)
Shift: Haruto! Give me advice too!
Haruto: No.
Shift: Whaaa~ Oh wait! Is it ‘cause I’m so good that there’s nothing for you to say?
Haruto: Don't even think of gettin' cocky with me, ya nitwit.
Troupe Member A: Ahaha!
Troupe Member B: Those two sure get along. Haven't they gotten really close lately?
♡♥♡
Troupe Members: Good work everyone!
Haruto: Hey.
Madoka: Oh, Haruto, that was a good practice session.
Haruto: Just now, it seemed like you were watching me awfully closely. What’s up with that?
Madoka: !
Madoka: I’m really sorry if I bothered you. It’s just... well… recently, I had a talk with Minagi from the Mankai Company and...
Madoka: He told me that in order to write a good script, it was important to observe and understand the actors.
Madoka: That’s why I was sitting in on the troupe's practice today: to get to know everyone better.
Shift: Oh I get it! So it was Haruto’s turn today!
Haruto: Don’t just butt into other people's conversations!
Shift: Anyways! Since today’s practice ended early, the three of us should hang out, so you really get to know him!
Haruto: What.
Madoka: …! Haruto, please let us come with you!
Haruto: D- don't look at me with those puppy-dog eyes.
Haruto: Argh… fine! I get it! You guys can tag along.
Shift: Yes!!
Madoka: Haruto, thank you so much for this.
A Playwright's Observation Diary (Haruto Ver.) - Chapter Two
Shift: Alright! We've achieved the first objective of our mission~ Arriving at the supermarket!
Haruto: What do you mean "our mission"?
Madoka: Umm… what are we doing?
Shift: Hehe, let me explain. One of the older guys in the troupe gave me some takoyaki plates that he didn’t need anymore!
Shift: Oruto loves takoyaki, so we were gonna make some together.
Shift: The catch is... I’ve only made takoyaki a few times before. That’s why, I thought about asking Haruto since he seems like the kinda guy who knows his way around a kitchen.
Haruto: This has nothing to do with Madoka’s observation though…
Shift: Well wait until you hear about this—Our little takoyaki party is officially sponsored!
Madoka: O- officially sponsored?
Shift: After practice, I told Reni about our friendship bonding mission, and he gave me some money for it.
Shift: Mann, I didn’t expect him to do that, but I’m really glad I said something.
Haruto: What!? How shameless are you!?
Shift: But it's for our sake! Reni thought it was a good idea for us to get to know each other better too and gave it his stamp of approval.
Haruto: …! Well, I mean, if Reni said so…
Shift: Alright! "Mission: Make Takoyaki" is a go! Let’s get those ingredients!
Madoka: Yes, we probably should.
Haruto: Jeez, how do I keep getting roped into these things?
Oruto: Whoa, that's amazing! You're really making takoyaki!
Haruto: The dough’s all ready… Now we just need to heat up the takoyaki plates and add a little oil…
Madoka: Wow Haruto, you’re really good at this.
Oruto: And you're doin' it super quick too!!
Haruto: Hey, pass the chopped ingredients over here.
Shift: No problemo! Here they are!
Haruto: What the—When did you have time to buy more ingredients!?
Madoka: Other than the octopus and crunchy tenkasu bits… there’s also cheese, kimchi, pollack roe… corn, bacon and tomatoes, konjac jelly…
Oruto: Ooh, pickled plums and natto too!
Haruto: The octopus and sausages are traditional fillings… but whaddaheck is the rest a’ this junk!
Shift: We’re having a takoyaki party! Trust me, it’ll be more fun this way!
Haruto: You’ve got a lot of nerve putting this shit in front of someone from Kansai…
Shift: It'll be fine, trust me! Let’s start making the takoyaki!
Haruto: Wh- Stop that! Jeez, you really do whatever you want…
Shift: Oruto, Madoka, feel free to fill them with whatever you like too.
Oruto: Gotcha! I'm gonna add this and that~ Then mix it real good!
Madoka: It’s like this, right?
Haruto: You guys too...!? Fine...
Haruto: Have it your way, but you're responsible for eating your own garbage.
♡♥♡
Haruto: I’ve just gotta carefully flip the dough and... There we go.
Shift: Whoa! You’re crazy good at this!
Oruto: Wow!! So cool!
Madoka: They’re so nice and round… Your handiwork is amazing…
Haruto: It's no big deal.
Haruto: Alright, I’ve just about finished, so now all we have to do is add some sauce, a bit of dried seaweed…
Shift: And shake things up a bit!
Haruto: Now what the hell are ya doin'!?
Shift: We're playing Russian Roulette!
Madoka: The takoyaki's all mixed up… We can't tell what's inside what anymore…
Shift: It’s more exciting this way, trust me!
Haruto: Count your days.
Oruto: This smells so good! And it looks super tasty too!
Shift: Alright everyone, hurry up and pick one so we can dig in!
Oruto: Right behind ya!
Madoka: It looks good.
Haruto: Fine… Whatever.
Shift: Hot! Hot! Mmm...Delicious!
Shift: It’s still hot, but the outside is nice and crispy while the inside is all soft and tender. Nice job, Haruto!
Oruto: This tastes amazing! Mine had sausage inside!
Madoka: Hot, hot… But mmm, it really is delicious. Mine was octopus.
Shift: Mine was cheese and pollack roe! They went super well together!
Haruto: …! ...Sour! What is this!? Pickled plums!?
Haruto: It’s not… Inedible at least…
Shift: Ahaha! Haruto, you got it! That one's my fave!
Haruto: The heck are ya puttin’ in these!!
Madoka: They really are delicious though. It is kind of exciting to try them.
Oruto: Yea!
Shift: Alright, next time I’ll be the one to make takoyaki for you! It’ll be my special recipe filled with all kinds of ingredients!
Haruto: Keep it to ya self!
Madoka: Ahaha!
Madoka: (It’s kinda nice seeing Haruto and Shift go at each other like this.)
Madoka: (For the next script, it might be fun to write a comedy scene with Shift throwing curveball after curveball at Haruto.)

The four seasons of Mankai Company
Synopsis: Thanks to Izumi's stubbornness and your persistence, the demolition was successfully postponed and there could still be a tiny bit of chance to save your father's theater. However, he showed no interest in the performance which you feared would crush the boys' dreams. Much to the yakuza's annoyance, he gave another chance, in exchange for one goal: you must form the four season troupe in a year to pay all the debt.
⚠️Reminder⚠️:
May contain incorrect grammars (English is not my first language)
Will follow the manga, but there will be a lot of changes.
Different flow of story due to two protagonists (you and Izumi)
Reader is 16 while Izumi is 24 (not canon but is considered)
Fem!reader
Long ass series so I won't blame you if you get bored the first time you look at it.
P.s: A3! Characters are legally and respectfully owned by Liber Entertainment Inc. and I do not claim them. I only own the changes in the plot of the story.
| ☆Chapter 1 |
Chapter 11:
Bloom, Little Flower!
'W-what? Isn't that-'
Dark pink hair and eyes with the same color, it's really him! He's the boy who bumped into you on the way here. You didn't have any clue that you'd meet again—it feels like the world has gotten smaller. The play immediately started and the boy began to do his own thing, with you silently watching him in hopes that his performance will go smoothly.
"Hello! My name is Romeo and I have this girl in my class that I really like. Today was supposed to be the day that I'm going to confess to her and I feel nervous!"
Despite his cheery voice, it sounds too tense and loud, it worries you a bit but hey, let's look at the bright side, atleast he looks like he's enjoying it. The story looks great so far but the background place was a school...out of cardboard....the details are badly drawn out but it's a plus for the efforts!
"Ah! This time already!? I have to go and meet her now!" You feel like something's missing, the stage looks really spacious in one's view and you wonder if other actors will come out now.
"Wait for me, Romeo!" A high-pitched voice was heard on stage, trying to find the other actor, you looked around only to find a talking parrot. It flew around and finally landed on the boy's shoulder. The latter smiled and started walking, or rather marched his feet up and down in a way he looked like he was walking away.
'He looks troubled but he's having fun' you thought, slowly feeling a sense of nervousness when Furuichi suddenly cleared his throat while still crossing his arms 'Seems like he wasn't enjoying it..'
You glanced over to your big sister, Izumi wore a pitiful look but she kept a gentle smile, it looks like she's amused even with such a small and simple performance, her eyes are glued to the stage, you can't help but focus on the dark-pink haired boy.
He was cheerful despite the sights of many empty seats left, he's not bothered...in fact, you can see the excitement in him with just being there on the stage; performing and doing his best.
'Why do sweet guys like him have to experience the worst things possible?' you thought 'If I ever became a theater manager, I would love to give him a better stage play performance!' you smiled at yourself at the idea of giving him a better opportunity to reach his dream and go big, a sweet guy like him deserves it after all.
"Now, let's proceed to talk about the demolition of this building..." Furuichi stood up, his hands in his pockets reflected just how serious he really was. The boy on the stage looked at the three of us with a confused expression on his face, 'This is bad' you bit your thumb in pure frustration.
Your big sister stood up with force, showing no signs of letting him do his own thing, "Ehhh?! Are you a demon?!" She hollered, her voice echoing through the spacious room.
"After seeing him trying his best?!" Izumi reasoned out, pointing at the boy on the stage who looks just as shocked as you are.
"Doing his best?" Furuichi asked, "Exactly!" Izumi replied back.
"He can act well despite being inexperienced" The dark-pink haired boy scratched the back of his head as he laughed nervously, he surely didn't expect a small praise at his performance, "Though he lacks experience. I think it would be best if you would just watch a sports match instead, if you want to see someone doing their exact best"
He glared at your big sister the moment he stated those last words, then the room went dead silent; awkwardly silent, you wished the floor could swallow you up.
"Do you think this place will present anything?"
He opened his hand out, letting your big sister roam her eyes around the room.
"This was supposed to be a place to entertain the audience, where pros earn money!" He explained.
"That's right, but if that boy did his best definitely-"
"Nothing can be gained by doing your best alone" those words seem to take a toll on your big sister, you can see her eyes widen and you feel more worried than before.
"I will demolish this agency"
Maybe this is too much for her to handle, there must be some other way that you can help her, it's the least you can do to keep her up. You can't just let all of this hardwork down to waste!
"Eh? T-this agency, will disappear?" You heard the anxious voice of the boy who finally decided to speak up.
You tried to speak up as well, but no voice came out; almost as if you're just there to watch and see how this will turn out.
"But I just moved here! I know I sucked at acting but I love to perform on stage plays!" His voice came out enthusiastically, he didn't mind how loud he is by now, all he can think about is how desperate and determined he is to act and perform, "Please don't demolish this agency"
He waited for a reply, but all the adult could say was a harsh "No" as it echoes, repeatedly ringing through the poor boy's ears.
Then everything went silent, again. You felt hopeless, is this how it's gonna end? You and your sister went all the way here just for nothing? You're on the verge of giving up, you don't know what to do and it's stressing you out. Your sister, however, isn't going to let it slide until she is satisfied.
"Even though he begged you desperately..." Izumi muttered out, loud enough for him to hear, "The demolition has been decided anyway" he was straightforward with it.
Soon, you heard someone run on the stage, it was Mr. Ragged-looking guy!
"Manager!" The dark-pink haired boy's eyes beamed and his expression held out a relieved and hopeful one. The said manager stood in front of him with his arms wide open—ready to defend the boy and save the agency.
"I must protect this agency, no matter what!"
"Matsukawa-san" Furuichi seriously called out—like he's giving him a command to stop and listen to him. "I have given so many chances, there's no need for further negotiations" He added.
"But! There still are a lot of possibilities, just like what we used to be" Matsukawa pleaded out.
"When Yukio-san was here..." Your big sister mumbled to herself, but it seems like it was heard by the manager, "Yukio-san..do you mean Tachibana Yukio?!" Matsukawa exclaimed in surprise, "I..no, my dad received this letter and me and my sister came here to find this place" she took out the letter from her pocket and showed it to him for proof.
"I sent that letter! Where is Yukio-san?" He came closer to check the letter with his eyes full of hope, you and your big sister really hate to break it to him while both of you looked at each other, but it seems like he never knew what happened to your father, "Our dad..hasn't come home for 8 years"
"I see.." Matsukawa looks just as fazed as you both are, "Do you know something about dad's whereabouts, mr.?" You hesitantly asked, although you knew what his answer would be, you still hope there might be some sort of clue or reason as to why your dad ran away. "That day, he suddenly disappeared and never came back, we couldn't even reach him no matter how hard we tried" he claimed, you can see how distressed he is, he just lost the last person he could run for help when everything goes down.
"So you miss your target" Furuichi smirked to himself. Oh how you wish you could just wipe that smirk off but you want to remain respectful towards elders, you felt a vein pop out of you as you glared at him while trying your best not to get caught in act.
"Please don't say that! There must be some other way" Izumi blurted without further thinking about her choice of words, is there really any other way?! 'H-how can you be so sure about that nee-san?!' you decided it's for the best if you could just let the grown-ups fight about it.
"Don't talk as if you know everything about this agency" Furuichi arrogantly stated, "This agency has their own theater, other agencies usually rent a stage to perform but this agency didn't need to. They even have their own dorms which add more costs to maintain" he elucidated. You were left wondering how much money your dad had spent on this agency just for it to crumble like this in the end.
"In their golden age, 8 years ago, there was Spring, Summer, Autumn, and Winter troupes. Four theaters take turns when it comes to performing every month where they make earnings"
'Wow, he really knows a lot of things from dad's agency, I wonder if they're good friends or something...but I doubt they were, why would he demolish this building if they're on good terms?' you bit your lip, not really believing this theory that you made up 'but what if they were before? And when dad left, Mr. Blonde guy over here got mad and wanted him to go back so he threatened to destroy the agency?' this left you to steal a glance at the older guy—who's now crossing his arms in pure disappointment at your big sister and to Mr. Matsukawa who acts as if they've just learnt something new.
"You only have a single kid as a member, there's no use" he puts his hands in his pockets and decides to turn his back and leave.
"Sakoda, do it-"
"So your main point here is that I have to increase the members and complete the four units?" Izumi's response stopped the man to his tracks, he remained still—as if he's not yet satisfied with her words.
"Then I want you to leave it to me" She presented herself, "Because I will bring together new members of this agency"
"If dad was here, he would say that so himself if this agency needs help, nee-san!" You always admire how strong and independent your big sister is despite the problems, you always hoped that you'd be like her someday when you grow up—where you're not afraid to take on challenges and you're always facing them with a tough look on your face. "Realllyyyyy?!!" Both Matsukawa and the boy were taken back by your words.
"How many members can you get?"
"One, errr...no-"
"Nee-san, two is ok"
"Yes! Two is ok!" She stumbled on whether to put up one finger or two but decided to stick two when you helped her decide, you only hummed in agreement and nod, supporting her decision.
You can feel your heart racing, you're not watching any typical romance dramas or something but your heart thumps so loudly in your chest, you're sure your sister can feel the same as you can feel her grip from your wrist go tight. You just closed your eyes shut and hoped for the best.
"Until the sun sets" you sighed in relief, your sister can only widen her eyes in shock as she was speechless, maybe you both couldn't believe that this would turn out fine, "Bring new members here, until today's sunset" He repeated.
The two male behind you began to celebrate, you smile upon knowing that you're not the only one feeling relieved about this.
"Will you wait for us?" The boy asked excitedly, for a second you thought his eyes had stars that twinkles.
"I won't count for amateurs"
"Yessir!"
"I'll start by demolishing your banner if you fail"
"Yessir!!"
Mr. Blonde guy can only sigh as a reply, as you can feel each and everyone's excitement for a mission—except for him of course.
"Let's goooo!!" "Y-yes!!" Your sister held your wrist as she began to run, both you and your sister are followed by the two males. You didn't process the situation quick enough and tumbled for a second before you caught up to her pace and started running together while clutching your (f/c) sling bag in your right hand.
'Your acting sucks, you're really different from Yukio-san...' his lips form a small smile.
'But your little sister acts just like you' he fixed his glasses that were about to fall from the bridge of his nose as he waited inside the agency until sunset.

Event | Act 3.5 Event - NEW ERA GARDEN | Chapter 8
*Contains spoilers for Act 12 - eternal moment*
Hiro: Are we really performing here?
Kasumi: It feels kind of strange. And it’s quite spacious.
???: …Hey, it’s been a while. How’s it going, man?
Yukio: Wahh! Serizawa-san! It’s been a while!
Serizawa: I hear my grandson is now bein’ taken care of at your daughter’s theater company.
Yukio: Ehehe. He’s in my daughter's hands now.
Yuzo: You just acceptin’ it in your old age now?
Syu: Maybe he’s forgotten how to do it for himself.
Serizawa: Oi, you guys just can’t keep your mouths shut, can ya?
Kasumi: It’s good to hear that you’re doing well, Serizawa-san!
Zen: It’s like all of the original members are bein’ gathered one by one.
Serizawa: Pretty bold of ya to not have any sorta set up, though.
Yukio: I wanted to show the raw, bare state of this new theater as it was being built.
Yukio: Besides, I didn’t want to overshadow this garden, where the new flowers of the future will bloom, with a set for a play.
Yukio: So I’ve decided-- to convey the story only through the actors’ performances and the power of lighting.
Yukio: We do have a little surprise in store for the end. We wanted to do a play that was clean and simple at the very least.
Serizawa: At the very least, huh…
Yukio: The stage, the actors, the audience. Theater is possible with only those three things. I wanted to face that again…
Serizawa: Huh. Did you have some kinda change of mindset or something?
Yukio: I guess it’s just my return to work. But I was also influenced by the live delivery of the newborn troupe’s Fleur Special Award.
Yukio: Just the actors standing on stage and talking about their thoughts about their respective plays can move a lot of people’s hearts… mine included, of course.
Yukio: It kind of made me feel like I just didn’t want to lose.
Serizawa: You’re a hell of a director, as usual. That’s just who you are.
Yukio: You’re probably wondering how a father could be so easily influenced by his own child’s work, huh?
Serizawa: That’s just how things work. I’ve still got a lot to learn by watchin’ my grandson do the stage lighting.
Serizawa: Throw away your dignity and pride as a father. If you’re both in theater, there’s no such thing as being higher or lower rank.
Yukio: That’s true.
· • —– ٠ ✤ ٠ —– • ·
Yukio: Can you adjust that a little more, Serizawa-san?
Serizawa: Like this?
Yukio: That’s great! Perfect even!
Reni: …
Reni: (When he’s standing on stage… I can’t help but be reminded of that.)
Reni: (...Back then.)
· • —– ٠ ✤ ٠ —– • ·
MANKAI Company’s opening performance with the members Tachibana assembled--.
The performance was a huge success for the first performance, and there was a full house for the finale.
I was moved when I was surrounded by the warm applause under the lights at curtain call.
I was filled with an all-encompassing feeling that we had finally made it this far, that we had finally made it to the starting line as a theater company.
I looked offstage and saw Tachibana giving us a round of applause with tears in his eyes.
I’m sure that Tachibana was sharing in my joy at that moment.
But then something occurred to me.
Tachibana should be the one receiving applause, not the one giving it.
I felt like grabbing Tachibana’s arm and dragging him to the center of the stage right at that moment.
Why are we the ones standing on stage, basking in the dazzling spotlights and the applause of the audience?
He has to be the one who has the most talent out of all of us.
My irrepressible sense of frustration and impatience that I felt at that time continued to grow and grow during the short time I was at MANKAI Company.
· • —– ٠ ✤ ٠ —– • ·
Reni: …
Reni: (I was so naive back then…)
Reni: (But his stubbornness was also considerable. And as things are now, I’d hate to just go on and grow up and give up on him now.)
Reni: (...Unrehearsed, a one-time-only performance.)
Reni: --Hmph.
Reni: (He should get a taste of what it’s like to be on the receiving end of things for once.)
Reni: …However, there are things we have to do first.
· • —– ٠ ✤ ٠ —– • ·
Yukio: Well then, that’s about it for today’s rehearsal-- good work, everyone!
Syu: Good work.
Reni: Good work.
Yukio: …Hey, Reni. How about we go out for drinks today? Just the two of us.
Reni: I never thought my turn for an interview would come around.
Yukio: Isn’t it necessary? You’re an actor too, Reni.
Reni: …Let’s go out. I’ll invite you, not the other way around.
Yukio: Great!
Yukio: How about we make it a rule to each take a shot of whiskey any time we end up arguing?
Reni: What kind of drunkard’s rule is that?

[Event Story TL] Weeping Star On a Summer Night (Chapter 5)
Chikage: I’ll throw you off the ship then.
click below to read more.
previous / next
Juza: When will we be arriving?
Chikage: I suppose about 30 minutes from now.
Azami: Faster than I thought it’d be.
Kazunari: Time flies by when you’re rehearsing the lines huh~
Hisoka: …Sleepy.
Sakuya: Eh!? We’re almost there!
Azami: You’ll definitely oversleep if you sleep now…
Sakuya: Yeah… Umm…—!
Chikage: Goodness.
Have a marshmallow, now open your eyes.
Hisoka: …Chikage, carry me when we get there.
I’m going to sleep…
Chikage: I’ll throw you off the ship then.
Go swim all the way to the island.
Izumi: (...Pairing these two together was the right choice after all)
Ah, please hold on. If I’m not wrong, Homare-san has already prepared Marshmallows for Hisoka-kun inside his luggage.
—Um, Are all of these just marshmallows!?
This bag seems unfamiliar, but does this also…
Chikage: This is…
Hisoka: “Wish-granting cookies”
The owner of the store I worked part-time back then brought a few treats, so I brought some of them back.
Chikage: …It’s been a while since I’ve seen these.
Hisoka: You wanna have some? It’s sweet and tastes good.
Your wish will come true….probably.
Chikage: Don’t wanna.
What are you, a shady salesman?
Hisoka: …It had an opposite effect on him.
Weeping Island
Sakuya: The sea looks beautiful!
Kazunari: Right! The weather seems great right now.
Diving for a bit doesn’t sound so bad~
Juza: Diving huh, that sounds great.
Azami: Even so, the sunlight today is quite strong.
Don’t forget to wear your sunscreens, guys.
???: Do you folks happen to be from Mankai Company?
Izumi: That’s us, my name is Tachibana, Mankai Company’s supervisor, and these are 6 of our troupe members.
Kurahashi: I’m the tour guide of this Island, you may call me Kurahashi. I’ve been assigned to guide and inform you all.
Izumi: We’ll be in your care.
Troupe members: Thank you for having us.
Kurahashi: Then, I’ll guide you all to the inn. As you all need to put down your luggages before going through the island…
Hm? There seems to be a person missing…?
Izumi: Eh!?
Sakuya: Hisoka-san isn’t here…?
Chikage: Sigh… that guy…
Somewhere afar
Hisoka: …It’s so hot.
(Glad I found a shade to rest under. So refreshing…)
Cat: …Meow
Hisoka: Where did you come from?
Cat: Meow meow.
Hisoka: (Ah, the shade over there also has a cat under it.
I wonder if it’s actually cat’s hanging out spot)
I guess I’m the one disturbing then.
Cat: Meoww.
Hisoka: (This planet feels more like Cat Island rather than Weeping Island)
(I’m sending a picture for everyone in the Winter Troupe)
???: …Not here.
Hisoka: (...Is the kid over there from this Island?
They seem like an elementary school student…)
Hey…
???: !? …Who…?
Hisoka: …Sorry for surprising you.
I was wondering if there’s a problem, did you lose something?
???: I’m looking for Orihime.
Hisoka: Orihime?
Sakuya: Director, he’s here!
Izumi: Finally! Hisoka-san, we’re going to the inn—!
Chikage: Unless you want to be left behind.
Hisoka: …Ah, is it fine I leave it to you? If you need it—
???: …Not really.
Bye.
Hisoka: Ah…they left.
(That kid said they were looking for Orihime)
(Orihime… the one from Tanabata’s…?)

Hello everyone, here's to one last epilogue chapter to this, it's been wild to see how this poll ended up
Congrats Juza and great job, Karen! The two of you are winners in my eyes
"Great work, you two," Tsumugi says as he, Tenma, and Maya meet up with their friends in the dressing room.
"Thanks," Juza says, holding Karen's cape pin in his hand. Meanwhile Karen seems to shrink a bit at the sight of Maya.
"I'm so sorry Tendou-san!" Karen cries. "After all you've done--" Maya raises her hand to silence her. "You've been winning for the first half of the battle."
"Tendou-san..."
Maya frowns. "This may not have been a revue, but we'll definitely need to train you up a bit more for the next poll competition."
"Nooooo!" Karen cries. "Anything but that, Tendou-san!"
"You definitely put up a fight, yourself, Aijou-san," Tenma says. "You quite literally were running the whole show for the first half of the competition."
"Oh, Sumeragi-kun," Maya gives a small bow. "I've seen some of your work as a movie actor when I was younger. I am glad to meet you in-person."
Tenma seems to be shocked, but quickly gives a smile. "Thank you, Tendou-san. I might not have been in theatre for long, but I've heard about your parents through my own."
Tsumugi nods. "Seisho Music Academy has always been difficult to apply to, let alone graduate from. You should be very proud of yourself, Karen-san," Tsumugi says.
The rest of the leaders turn to Tsumugi. "Tsumugi-san, y'knew about 'em?" Juza asks, to which Tsumugi chuckles.
"I may have watched their stageplays as reference when this competition started and then I started watching the movies, which led to the anime..."
"Did this competition turn you into a Revue Starlight fan?!" Tenma cries.
Tsumugi laughs. "I couldn't resist."
Karen smiles. "Well, thank you for taking interest in us!"
"Looks like it's a party over here," Nana says as she enters with a box and her phone, which is currently recording.
"Banana-chan!" Karen runs over to hug her. "Tendou-san's being scary..."
"Well, you did lose at quarterfinals after you promised that you were going to go to finals," she says. "But this is a friendly competition first and foremost."
She opens up the box to banana muffins and a wrapped item. "There's enough for everyone, here. And Juza-kun, a little something special for your victory."
She gives Juza the wrapped gift, to which he opens it with a gasp and glimmering eyes.
"That's a lot of bananas..." Tsumugi softly comments.
"Banana anmitsu?! No fair, Banana!"
"I *might've* checked out the game while the battle was happening and found Juza's favorite food in the wiki page," she confessed. "Ah, and early happy anniversary to Mankai Company, too."
"So are you saying that you are an A3! fan now, Daiba?" Maya asks.
"I heard you play as a director and I couldn't help myself," she says.
"What is it with directors and weird food fixations..." Tenma mutters.
Meanwhile, Juza is eating the anmitsu like no tomorrow.
"'s really good," he says.
"Where's the rest of your group?" Nana asks. "I think you're missing two."
"Banri-kun, let it go already!" Sakuya's voice calls from the hallway.
"And lettem get away with that shit? Hell no!"
"Uh, I'm sure that they were heartbroken, but put down your phone for a bit and let's congratulate Juza-kun!" Sakuya pushes Banri to the door, while Banri looks really frustrated at his phone.
"What's going on?!" Karen starts running. "Did something happen or did he find some hate commentary about a play he was in?!"
And then a game over screen appears.
"Damn it!" Banri then looks up at the room, with Karen being extremely concerned and Juza looking very annoyed.
"You made Aijou-san worry," he says. "You're paying for parfaits later."
"Like hell I made her worry, it took you a ghost kid who's a method actor to snap you out of your self-doubt episode," he says.
"Hah?!"
"Hah?!"
Tenma goes between them. "Seriously, guys, can you not fight in front of Aijou-san and the other girls from Seisho? You're making us look bad!"
Nana smiles. "It's fine, Sumeragi-kun," she says. "It actually reminds me of a certain rivalry that Maya-chan had with another of our friends when we were still in school together."
Maya only hums in reply.
Karen looks around as her friends are smiling, Juza is having an argument with Banri that he should be grateful that he's still in the running as the A3 representative, and the other A3 boys are breaking them up, though with affection. And she starts laughing.
Actors coming together to share their craft through acting and interacting with one another... Isn't that what theatre is all about?
At the end, they did go out to get parfaits and more anmitsu. And though the curtain falls on the battle of the theatre gacha games, the war for Juza Hyodo is far from over.
Semifinals 1
Propaganda under the cut
Aijou Karen: "one night, when she was little, Karen and her best friend Hikari went to see a play together. they loved it so much they both decided to become theater actresses together. now, Karen is attending the prestigious theater training school Seisho Academy, learning not just acting, but singing and dancing too. and she's getting better all the time. it's just as she says: "The Stage Girl Aijou Karen is evolving day by day!""
Juza Hyodo: "Juza had been wanting to be an actor since middle school, but because of his scary appearance he didn't get to try it until his senior year of high school. He wanted to act in order to "become someone else", but in the process of acting he learnt to embrace himself instead, and to use that as fuel for his acting. He's extremely passionate and this passion is contagious to his fellow troupemates. He may not be the leader of the troupe, but he sure is its heart. Despite his wanting to change himself at the start, even from his initial scenes he's ready to face who he is, and to show vulnerability on stage. This and passion are key attributes for any performer to have."

As I was rewatching some Yuki Yuna is a Hero clips, I noticed something-- Nogi Wakaba and Yuki Yuna both give self-introductions. Yuna's is at the very beginning of her battle with the vertexes when she first becomes a Hero, and Wakaba's is at the very end when she's making her final stand. It struck me as such a painfully human thing to do; even in the face of these near-divine entities, beings who have no way of understanding and who don't particularly need to understand, because their only objective is to advance and destroy, these girls scream. It's a declaration, that even in front of gods and the beings made to destroy them: "I am here, and I matter." Yuna's feels a bit more like a declaration of war, like "I am Yuki Yuna, and I will be your opponent. Remember me, because I will cut you down to protect the place and people I love," whereas Wakaba's is almost like an epitaph, a "me and my friends fought here, and our story deserves to be remembered." With the inclusion of Chikage's breakdown in The Great Mankai Chapter and presumably in Wakaba's journal, and with Wakaba literally defending Chikage's corpse, it gives the impression that Wakaba doesn't want only their heroic deeds to be remembered, but also the hardships and strain they faced, and how they weren't always heroic through it all. Yuki Yuna is similar-- when she calls out to the Vertexes, she's establishing herself, a culmination of what matters to her at that moment. She's Yuki Yuna, a member of the Sanshuu Middle School Hero Club, as well as a hero. Wakaba and Yuna and all of the other heroes weren't perfect martyrs or avenging angels, they were girls. Girls who were called to fight far too young. Girls who did karaoke together, went to the beach together, and argued, laughed, and cried. And they live as long as their stories are told.

YUKI!!!!!
Ok so Yuki is part of a game called Act! addict! Actor, also known as A3!, and he shows up in the first chapter in Act 1. He later joins the reborn Summer Troupe after being scouted by Izumi and works as their costume maker/designer and a actor.
The images seen below are the lyrics to his first character song MINORITY.
From this we can see and understand the effects of the scorn and taunting he received from his peers growing up. All Yuki wanted to dress up in his adorable clothes because it’s simply what he likes. He even has a genuine love for fashion, but peers were less understanding of this and bullied him. Growing tired of this seemingly endless cycle of hate his desire to be accepted for who he is grew with it. Luckily after joining MANKAI company he not only found people who accepted him, but also people who will always have his back and support him. He found people who understand his what it means to be passionate about something, and even though it doesn’t show it, he’s truly so much happier.
The images below are the lyrics to his second character song, Tailor Tailor, and it further emphasizes my point of him being happier.
Something to not that you can’t hear unless you search up the song yourself is that the tone of this song is obviously a lot more happier and upbeat compared to the melancholy yearning tone of the last song. In this song it goes further into his role as the company’s costume designer because it’s his main passion. To those who haven’t played the game the seemingly random names and costume ideas that show up are actually references to actual characters and costumes he made in past plays. This displays his joy and the pride he felt while making the costumes, and his alluding to other characters shows the strength of his relationship with other characters. They are just more than actors who wear the costumes he makes, but they’re his friends and family who support and appreciate him. Other than that it also shows his respect for his fellow actors, because of this tone of familiarity and teasing voice. He also proudly declares that he can make any one of them into lead actors, that he can make them shine even more than they already do. As I said before this emphasizes just how much pride he has for his craft.
All in all vote for Yuki Rurikawa he’s great! I love him, he changed my life. VOTE FOR YUKI!!!
