Rudy Headcanons

Rudy has a tendency to bite literally everyone and everything that is not his Dad (Tweek). He dislikes anything and anyone getting near Tweek, and will throw a hissy if someone thinks they can interrupt his Daddy Time. This includes Craig, who gets bitten and pecked a lot, especially around bedtime. He greatly disapproves of bedtime and will scream and throw a fit because he wants to spend time with his dad.

He knows how to sing the Indiana Jones theme, the Jurassic Park theme, he loves to pick up buttons and move them to a new location, he can say four phrases ("SWEET JESUS", "I'm Your Tweek And You're My Craig", "Preeeeeetty Boy", "Stupid Bitches, Stupid Stupid Bitches"), and a small handful of words (Mine, Dad, CHIP, MAYDAY, Cokka, Kiiiiitty, RUDY, Nomf), and will steal anything that has a bell on it.

The only time that Craig is safe from his unending wrath is when/if he sings to him. Humming works as well, but to a lesser extent. He enjoys a good song, especially Motion City Soundtrack ones. OK Go is good, too.

His favorite movies are Jurassic Park (original trilogy) and Indiana Jones (Original movie ONLY).

The cloth that Tweek drapes over his cage is a very pretty galaxy print, and a heavy fleece. 

When Rudy is tired he will imitate snoring from old cartoons. However, this does NOT mean that he wants to go to sleep. He will shriek like he’s dying if you take him near his cage if he’s out of it.

Rudy has a nice-ass, large cage, and Tweek is very anal about how it should be cleaned. 

Rudy’s full name is Rude-A-Bega. 

Rudy bullies Charon, the forever homed “Fostered” Turkey Vulture that Tweek rescued. Charon would prefer not to fight, as he is missing a good chunk of his face and he cannot fly due to a wing injury that is now healed. Rudy takes advantage of this, and is very nippy and likes to yell.

Much as he seems to despise Craig, he will VERY LOUDLY call him a “Preeeeeeeeeetty Boy”. He does not call Tweek that. He calls Tweek Dad and Mine.

hot take coming in: gay hcs or trans hcs should not be shamed/invalidated because they’re “not backed up by canon.” who cares? headcanons like those hurt absolutely no one.

You are absolutely 100% right, and this is one of the takes that I feel very passionately about! I honestly cannot imagine logging onto Tumblr.com and being SO passionate about this ten year old South Park character having a dick that you feel the need to clarify it on every post supporting trans headcanons. Like, honestly, that makes you kind of a freak in my eyes, because seriously what is your problem. 99% of art and fics in this fandom (or probably even a great percentage than that) have all involved characters as cis, so like, do these people feel threatened by the 1% that wants to create their own trans representation in a show they enjoy? How terminally online do you have to be to feel threatened by someone disobeying the canon of fucking South Park in order to enjoy the characters in a way that feels right for them? Whether you enjoy trans headcanons or not, surely we have to realize how totally ridiculous that is.

The same thing applies for gay headcanons, and while they are significantly more common than trans headcanons, they also don't necessarily explicitly disobey canon like some trans headcanons do - compulsory heterosexuality is indeed a thing that plagues a lot of gay youth, especially in a small town such as South Park where heterosexuality is the norm (look, I know Tweek and Craig exist, but that doesn't change the obvious homophobia still frequently displayed by the characters - even growing up hearing 'gay' being thrown around as an insult can have an effect), and it's not unreasonable to assume that several kids will grow up LGBT+ and end up coming out at some point in the future. It's weird to assume that all characters who display any attraction to the opposite gender as kids are going to grow up straight, and it honestly just caters to the assumption that straight is the default while also invalidating a lot of what gay youth go through.

And even if they're right, and by chance, all characters in this show are going to grow up straight - who cares? Fandom is for enjoying the characters in a way that makes you happy, and I know that I certainly wouldn't stop my gay Kyle agenda even if Matt and Trey announced it and referred to me by name in the process. There's no harm in letting people enjoy things. They're honestly contributing more to the fandom than constant critics just by sharing the things they love.

Craig - Tweek simultaneously loves and hates Craig, but his loyalty to him runs very deep. Craig is the only person who understands him, who helps him and keeps him under control. He trusts him implicitly and always, even if his delusions tell him otherwise. If Craig says it, it must be true, even if Tweek argues about it at first.

Drug Use - Addicted to cocaine and caffeine from a young age, Tweek cannot and will not stop his drug use. He has expanded to other things, of course, and takes a wide variety of medications and street drugs that he has a tendency to make it himself, or buy it from a strictly small amount of sources. He does still buy from the McCormicks on occasion.

Bipolar Disorder With Psychotic Features - Tweek has been diagnosed with Bipolar Disorder with Psychotic Features. He has hallucinations that his therapist doesn’t associate strictly with the drugs. However, he doesn’t take his meds like he’s supposed to, which doesn’t really help his situation. He does take them to sleep, however, because of their heavy sedative properties.

Birds - Tweek has an intense love of birds and will do whatever he can to help them if he can.

BIOGRAPHY

Tweek's life, and he recollection of it, is erratic and disjointed at best. He knows that he was raised by his parents, but he can't recall much about them. His father is a metaphor, and something he never got along with. His mother is a shadow that he vaguely recalls as having lived in the house and made rules. 

Craig is the one thing that he can remember that sticks out in detail. He carved out parts of Tweek from their instigated fight, to Tweek being accepted into his friend group. When they started to date, things felt right.

But Tweek was never good at keeping things that felt good. They are on and off often, and most times Tweek ends up being the one breaking them up. Paranoia and anxiety are heavy in his life.

When he was 16, a bad drug deal killed his father, and by the time he was 18, he owned his own house and the coffee shop. His mother left South Park and never looked back. Tweek continued to run the coffee shop, but he did change things. Better coffee, and better cocaine in the coffee, were his first step. He expanded the menu, adding different drugs to different things, not because he wanted to addict people, but because that was how he liked it himself. 

Tweek has become something of a drug kingpin in the town, taking over for a majority of the McCormicks by making his own product when he doesn't have it brought in from elsewhere. Between testing his own products, working on new recipes and making syrups for his own shop, and everything else in his life, he barely sleeps. He has to drug himself and sleeps best if he's in Craig's bed/arms. 

RUDE-A-BEGA “RUDY”

Rudy was Tweek’s second bird after some problems with his father and the parrot he’d had growing up ended with the bird’s rehoming. A rescue bird, Rudy has a small molting problem and tends to divebomb people he likes for attention. Tweek loves him very much, and babies him often. Rudy likes to cuddle, and will bridge the gap if Tweek and Craig cuddle around him.

MATCHA

Matcha actually came to live with Tweek due to a joke made by one of the Vampire Society. Allison told him she wanted tea with ‘echidna’ in it, and he panicked that people were hunting the monotremes for tea. Finding one on the black market, he purchased it immediately. Though he didn’t know much about echidnas, he learned quickly. Originally, Matcha was one of six that he purchased, but he ended up rehoming the rest with the zoo in Denver. Matcha does, however, have a little top hat and monocle, because Tweek maintains that he is a little gentleman.

CHARON

A rescued turkey vulture that Tweek found, captured, and brought home. He ended up bonding with Tweek as his face and injured wing were healing, and when it came time to release him, he refused to leave. Now, he and Tweek work together to send messages, and he often sends them to Craig.

QUICK FACTS

Tweek has a conceal carry lisence, eight guns, and wonders why people think he’s dangerous. 

Tweek has an ‘instant coffee’ container that he tries to pass off as not being a dark glass jar filled with cocaine. He dips into it when he’s busy.

He got through school by doing other people’s papers and homework for them in the back of the coffee shop.

When he was sixteen, his father was shot in a bad drug deal. His mother eventually relocated after leaving the family business to her son. Tweek takes pride in it, and keeps it clean and working fairly well.

Birds are a passion of his and he tries to rehabilitate injured birds he finds around town. He is unaware that Firkle is a big proponent in the birds he finds.

Charon stayed with him and he now partakes in falconry with him.

Rudy is Tweek’s baby bird, and he dotes on him often. 

Tweek loves Craig to the moon and back, but he also is the one that mostly causes their many erratic break-ups. He also tends to ask to get back together.

Addicted to cocaine, he also has a rather influential drug business that he runs alongside the coffee shop. He has black market contacts and can get his hands on just about anything he could want. This is how he got Matcha.

Lamictal - 200mg - Anti-epileptic/anti-convulsant, delays bouts of depression, mania, hypomania, and mixed episodes - Major side effects include a deadly skin rash, chest pain/shortness of breath/inconsistent heart rate, fever/weakness/severe muscle pain, skin rash with blistering/peeling, headache/neck stiffness/increased sensitivity to light/drowsiness/confusion, easy bruising/unusual bleeding. MENTAL HEALTH DIAGNOSIS

Pediatric Acute-Onset Neuropsychiatric Syndrome (PANS) - Tweek has both physical and mental issues due to his PANS, including but not limited to: Physical and verbal tics, severe obsessive compulsive symptoms, anxiety, motor function impairment and a weak immune system. 

Schizoaffective Disorder - With symptoms of both Schizophrenia and Bipolar Disorder, he suffers from hallucinations, delusions, depressive episodes, manic episodes, and moodswings. He is prone to grandiose delusions and can fall to conspiracy theories quickly. When told by a man at a flea market that the government was poisoning the water supply with fluoride so that humans weren’t superhuman anymore, and they poisoned food in order to keep people subdued, Tweek didn’t eat or drink for three days.

Substance Abuse/Dependency - Having been hooked on cocaine since he was a child, he has a hard time dropping it. Sometimes he does for reasons unknown even to him, and it always shows that he hasn’t been taking his meds while on it.

PHYSICAL HEALTH DIAGNOSIS

Ehlers Danlos Syndrome - Tweek bruises easily, and his skin is very thin. His joints are extra flexible and dislocate often enough that most people that know him well know how to help him fix it. He has incredibly elastic skin and sometimes pulls on it due to obsessive thoughts and compuplsive actions.
