Things that have happened to my party in ONE SINGLE DAY (in-game time):

Vampire hunt. Atticus cursed.

Attempted werewolf hunt. Found that SOMETHING had killed the werewolves like a horror movie villain. Even Sock Police recommended we not tangle with it.

Atticus healed, despite picking a fight with his doctor and insisting that he has no value except as a tool. Yelled at Atticus that he has inherent worth as a human being but I don't think it took.

The Most Awkward Lunch In The History Of Lunches.

Met a bear. Atticus swatted off a cliff.

Accidentally started a forest fire while fighting the bear. Furniture Man and Doc set themselves on fire trying to put it out. Then Furniture Man set me on fire after I had put it out.

Taught Furniture Man and Doc the 'stop, drop and roll' mnemonic.

Sock Police inadvertently caused a landslide while retrieving Atticus.

Doc fell off the landslide while we were climbing over and dragged Atticus and yours truly after him. Atticus concussed by second landslide while climbing back up.

Party attacked by dragon. Self and Sock Police dropped from extremely high altitude. Sock Police broke most of the bones in his lower body preventing me from going splat.

Got a lesson in how to administer first aid to someone who has broken all the bones in his legs. Unfortunately due to injuries Sock Police was unable to speak, so this lesson took the form of an extremely stressful game of Twenty Questions.

Furniture Man fell off a cliff, entirely unprompted.

Furniture Man unexpectedly survived (yay, but stressful because SIR).

Got a hands-on lesson in the philosophical implications of shadows in Terrafell. This involved Sock Police inadvertently flirting shamelessly with character me. Character me is Flustered and Stressed. Sock Police seems to be considering hurling himself off one of the extremely abundant cliffs to escape his mortification.

And we are still not in sight of the city yet.

Alucard teaches history and is obsessed with wars specifically. Infodumps about brutal facts a concerningly amount.

Anderson would be either a librarian, a kindergarden teacher every parent feels mildly intimidated by (but the kids love him very much), or a theology professor.

Seras would be a personal trainer or a bodyguard.

Integra was supposed to inherit her father's business but became a lawyer that specializes in enforcing human rights.

Walter is an undercover agent that works as a butler to unveil Arthur's massive tax fraud.

Pip is a temp worker that's talented with everything but still can't keep a job for two weeks straight because of his attitude.

Maxwell becomes one of those redpill influencers that sells bullshit to his naive followers and makes thirst edits of himself.

Heinkel gives classes for material arts or sports.

Yumie would be a school counselor or a nurse with an open ear for everyone.

Jan and Luke own the club they had in Hellsing Gonzo. Jan ends up in prison often but his brother somehow always bails him out.

The Captain is an ex-soldier with a lot of confirmed kills. Retires to become a dog-walker or work in an animal shelter.

The Major would either be an evil CEO or the leader of a cult-like commune that claims they don't fit into today's society (definetly commits felonies either way).

The Doc would be a chef, a fashion designer, or one of those surgeons with questionable PHD that offers body modification operations in his basement.

Rip writes dark romance novels that sell surprisingly well with the booktok girlies (we all know her Tumblr would be fire).

Zorin is a tattoo artist with a side business on etsy (she scams people by selling fake magic stuff).

Dandy has no job, he literally scams people with gambling and card tricks.

Terrafell headcanons: Can He Use A Computer edition.

Gavrel: Yes. He’s quite good at it, being from our world and also a gamer.

Atticus: No. He’s much too busy taking it apart and trying to figure out what kind of magic powers it to actually learn how to use it. Can he put it back together? Probably. Will it function as intended after he does? Unclear. Will it do something? Most certainly.

Furniture Man: Sort of. With sufficient instruction I think he could master the technical aspects, at least enough to log on and use a browser, but he’s fundamentally confused by the purpose of this strange device. He might comprehend e-mail but I think that’s as far as he’d get.

The Doc: As soon as he found out that you could research medical knowledge from our world using one, he’d get someone to teach him how to use a browser and then spend the next eight hours reading every freely available medical journal or periodical he could get his hands on in equal parts fascination and outrage (because they heal people WITHOUT MAGIC here and that’s amazing but also why didn’t you just. Grow that person a new kidney instead of inventing dialysis).

Nik: No. He is vaguely intrigued by the concept but he doesn’t care enough to learn. He’d rather be sailing.

Pip wants something that reminds him of you when he's abroad for his work, like dogtags or a picture of you two. A throwing knife with his insignia would also be cool. | He's more of a gesture person and will force his men to prepare it together with him, like a grand firework or something.

Jan is very easy to please, he gets hyped up about anything really. I guess just give him money and let him decide how to spend it, it'll end irresponsible with him buying a gun or some lingerie for you or maybe a puppy, you'll never know with this guy. | Is definetly one of those guys that gifts you 'love coupons' he scribbled last minute. 😭

Luke would like a new tie or hairband, maybe a perfume even. He's a well-groomed man and loves to have something from you on him at all times. | Will spoil you with a new wardrobe which he definetly indulges seeing you in just as much.

The Captain isn't picky but he would definetly enjoy something that reminds him of his past (no nazi stuff, just any keepsakes you found from the city he grew up in). | Gifts you something selfmade like a lucky charm he carved himself or a bracelet.

The Major would enjoy if you cook a fancy meal for him, sharing it with a good wine. And having you for dessert would definetly not be rejected ehehe... | He'd hold a long speech in your honor claiming to lay the world to your feet if that's what you desire, which sounds both flattering and worrying.

The Doc likes some hyper-specific freaky stuff, anything connected to his science or the occult. I bet he's got a wish-list for you and it's not easy or legal to obtain any of those. | Will use his skills to create things you could only wish for in your wildest dreams.

Dandy is a collector, he'd love another card deck, maybe even a personalized one, or a new hat. | Will also get you something that suits your hobby/taste, maybe autographed by a celebrity you admire?
