🍏🍏 Shooting Rock And Roll Circus 🍏🍏 Part 1
Barry Miles: "Filming the TV show Rock And Roll Circus at Wembley Studios."
Keith Richards: "I remember that we had an idea, and then Mick and I gave up on it. But then they remembered about her again and, of course, they organized everything for us. I must admit, it seems Michael Lindsay-Hogg went crazy back then. If he didn't go crazy before, then he definitely should have."
Michael Lindsay-Hogg : "Everyone was asked to come by noon, as we believed that this was the earliest time for everyone. Strangely enough, everyone arrived on time. The Who, Eric Clapton, John Lennon, Yoko Ono, and everyone else."
Tony Sanchez: "On the street, at the entrance to the studio, Elsie Smith, Mick's old school teacher, still from Dartford, told fans stories from the time when their idol still wore short pants. However, at some point, the audience forgot about him, stunned to watch as a giant white Rolls Royce stopped at the studio, and John Lennon and Yoko Ono emerged from it and slowly walked inside."
Steven Davis: "Filming of the show began on Wednesday, December 11th at noon, and lasted 18 hours. The public, consisting of fans who submitted applications to NME, was given bright ponchos and hats with soft brims. After that, they were seated in places around the circus arena."
Michael Lindsay-Hogg: "I went backstage to check if everything was okay, and found everyone in the dressing room – Mick, Keith, John, Eric, Pete – playing famous songs together, mostly from the Motown repertoire, and Keith Moon was banging spoons on the table. It was very symptomatic of the time how truly close these musicians were to each other. The main idea of the rock and roll circus for me was that it was practically a document about that time and that friendship between these young guys."
Bill Wyman: "I was in a clown costume. I was wearing a ping pong ball painted bright red on my nose. I liked the costumes, everyone looked great. I was a clown, so was Brian, and Charlie was in some other outfit. And of course with
