Omar: Are you not a litte bit too old to sneak around?

Juma: I am not 'sneaking' around. I just want to buy some apples.

Omar: Right. You have servants for that.

Nadeera: (soft) You look good Juma. The palace life is good for you.

Juma: Thank you Nadeera. You look great yourself. I see Vargas still has a hold on you.

Omar: That is none of your business. Go back to the palace and stay out of it.

Nadeera: You do not want to get in trouble, Juma.

Juma: Captain Vargas is not leaving, is he? He is planning something.

Omar: Like I said… Go back to the palace.

Juma: Like I said, I just want to buy some apples.

Omar: (annoyed) Juma…

Nadeera: Stop it. Both of you. Juma, please stay out of this. I do not want you to get hurt.

Juma: Come with me to the palace. I can protect you.

Nadeera: I can not go with you. You know why.

Omar: Besides, she has me. I would not let anything happen to her.

Juma: Fine. But I still want to know what Vargas is planning… He is up to something. I am sure of it.

"Jamil."

Jamil paused as he left the classroom to see Yuu approaching him with a bouquet of flowers in her hands. It was a vibrant cluster of red, yellow and orange. The color scheme of Silk City and Scarabia.

"Yes?"

"Thanks for the flowers." She smiled. "They came floating down with a note attached to them."

Jamil raised an eyebrow. "I didn't send you any flowers, much less with a note attached to it."

"Really?" She tilted her head. "It said 'To My Desert Jewel: I hope your day is as beautiful as these flowers.'"

Jamil faintly blushes at that. It truly did sound like something from him and no one else knew he called Yuu that either.

"May I see-" He stopped as he noticed a figure behind her. "Yuu...."

"Hmm?" She turned to see the figure.

The person approached them and Jamil was quick to pull Yuu behind him.

The person chuckled as they stopped a few feet away. "Right, I was still protective back then."

"Who are you?" Jamil narrowed his eyes.

"I'm you." The figure pulled off his hood. "Granted, I am older."

They stared at him with wide eyes, silent for a few moments before Yuu spoke.

"Holy shit, you actually grew a goatee."

((I have a stupid self indulgent crossover AU for Disney's Aladdin bc it's my comfort media. Shy's pearlsona is there bc she got trampled during the Gem's evacuation of earth and temporarily poofed. A big-ass peach pearl in the middle of the desert didn't go unnoticed, and after awhile she ended up in the court of Agrabah, and scared the ever-loving shit out of everyone involved when she sprung fully formed from a gemstone like goddamn Aphrodite.

People thought she was a genie. She thought some of them were gems. It was confusing but she made friends and developed a good relationship with most people, and she's got a zest for life that's contagious. She's the definition of "she's a little confused but she got the spirit."))

Juma: My Sultana

Taryn: And? Any news?

Juma: Yes. I followed Captain Vargas to his ship. I saw him leaving on a horse, into the dessert.

Taryn: That is… odd.

Juma: Two of his followers caught me while I was watching him. Taryn: (worried) Did they hurt you?

Juma: No, my queen. I'm fine. But when we talked I lost sight of Captain Vargas. I did not know where he went, so instead I bought some groceries and talk to some merchants. I did not get lucky because the two followers where keeping an eye on me. They knew I was asking around about their captain.

Katarq: It seems you did not get what you wanted.

Vargas: Of course not. That is why I am going to send you in there. Do what we discussed. Kill everyone who stands in your way. Got it?

Katarq: Yes.

Vargas: Good. Now go.

Taryn: So you still do not know what he is up to.

Juma: There is more. Finally, when I lost the two, some other merchant heard me asking questions about Captain Vargas and told me disturbing things.

Taryn: Like what?

Juma: He said that Captain Vargas killed thousands of people on the borders of Jabasan.

Taryn: We know. Amir said we could not do anything because he did not crossed the borders.

Juma: Yes. Wel Captain Vargas did not killed those people by himself, He was not actually there.

Taryn: He sended some men. I already know about this.

Juma: (serious) He did not just send some men, Taryn. He sended one man. Just one.

Taryn: One man slaughtered thousands of people?

Juma: Yes. They call him Al Jazaar.

Taryn: (shocked) The Butcher.

Juma: That is correct. He got that name after he fought an entire army by himself. Cut of their heads, arms, legs. Blood was everywhere… There was-

Taryn: I get it.

Juma The merchant did not want to tell me more, but his brother said that Al Jazaar was signalated here. In Jabasan. Most highly to kill people. You and the Sultan. Your children.

Taryn: I am not afraid Juma. The palace is highly secured. There are guards everywhere.

Juma: One advise, my queen. Do not underastimate this man. He is fast, dark and very quiet. You won't see him coming until he gets you. Kills you in a blink of an eye. He could be already here, in the palace.

Taryn: Thank you for the concern Juma. I will let the guards know to be extra careful. You are a good friend.

Juma: Thank you, my Sultana.

Floyd x Yuu: Shrimp and Noodles

Floyd often times, during the night, changes position several times. Sometimes he winds up upside and halfway off his bed, other times he's buried under his covers and curled up. Tonight tho? Tonight, he was wrapped around Yuu, his Shrimpy. Floyd had wrapped his arms around her, practically shoving her face first into his chest, while he rested his head on top of hers.

Despite what should be a very suffocating position, Yuu had fallen soundly asleep. Floyd himself was equally asleep, his body somehow remembering he wasn't alone in the bed.

Leona x Yuu: Upendi

Leona, without a doubt, can fall asleep on a dime with hardly a train of thought. He sleeps mostly either on his back or his front and is nigh impossible to wake up once he's in a deep enough sleep (if he's not on alert). Leona's sleeping sound as he lays on his back, Yuu lays on him as she uses his chest as a pillow. She makes a small sound as she buries her face in his chest before settling down.

The lion beastman's arm lays against her back, keeping her from moving off of him during the night. Leona will never say it, but the days Yuu stays with him are the nights he looks forward to the most.

Rollo x Yuu: Sanctuary

Rollo doesn't move much when he sleeps. Goes to sleep on his back, wakes up on his back. He sleeps like the dead, not that he's hard to wake, but it's hard to tell if he's asleep because he makes hardly any sound. It took him ages to be comfortable enough to not only share a bed with Yuu, but to show her that he wears a set of comfortable night clothes to bed. He sleeps with his back towards the door, so anyone trying to sneak in sees him before Yuu.

Speaking of the magicless girl, she had her back pressed against Rollo's chest as his arm rested over her hip. He is now unable to sleep without having her with him.

Idia x Yuu: Co-op Love

Idia and Sleep is a laughable concept. He spends his nights gaming until early morning or he falls asleep at his desk like some hunched over hermit. Sometimes, he falls asleep face down in his bed and hopes his dreams won't be as depressing as his life. But now....? His face and tips of his hair are pink as Yuu had fallen asleep against his shoulder. They were binge watching some anime, Idia had lost track once she had dozed off.

He glances at her, studying her facial features as she slept peacefully. Idia thinks that someone out there is having mercy on his tired and depressed soul.

Jamil x Yuu: Desert Jewel

Jamil, thank to his training, is never in a deep sleep. He's a very light sleeper, alert to any sound and body ready to spring into action. Jamil sleeps on his stomach with his hands under his pillow right where his concealed knife is. He had to get used to Yuu sleeping with him. At first, she slept on the other side of the bed as to not disturb him. Now, Jamil slowly returns to a faint conciseness as he feels her shift against his shoulder. Yuu uses his shoulder as a pillow most nights with her arms wrapped around his waist,

The retainer lifts his head to look at her though sleepy eyes before he lays his head back down. He still thinks he doesn't deserve her after everything he put her through, but Jamil faintly wonders if the Sorcerer of the Sands granted him this one wish.

((It's around the time of year where I once again get interested in Disney's Aladdin bc it's my comfort movie and I wish there was an active rp fandom for it because mama has a verse for it. It's also a crossover with my SU verse because I'm allowed to be cringe if I want to.

Peach Pearl gets trampled during a gem evacuation in the desert, ends up as a gift to a princess, is often mistaken for a genie, chaos ensues.))
