The smell of decay and darkness was like a smack to the face as Hyrule stepped out of the portal, and the intensity nearly sent him to his knees, Wild catching his arm as he fought back the urge to retch.

“Oh no, no no no no, I am not doing this goddess-forsaken place again,” Sky’s voice croaked, and Hyrule managed to raise his head, getting the shaking in his legs under control as he looked around.

And nearly gagged again as he saw Legend pull his sword out of a decaying monster, skin falling off bones, deep, thick, unnatural darkness coming off of the corpse.
