HEAR ME OUT:

Blind/ partially blind Jane

Since Jane lost her head, she also lost her memory, and Ive been seeing lots of headcannons that she’s always reaching out with her hands because she doesn’t remember, but her body does.

But what if she’s reaching out because she also can’t see?

It would give another reason for her reaching out, and it would add yet another layer of representation to the musical.

A lot of the Janes I’ve seen always have this blank, doll-eyes stare, almost as if she’s looking through the other choir members.

But what if she just can’t see them? (Or can’t see them well?)

It makes me so sad to think that the people from her past are right there, and she can’t even see them.

I think it would be really cool for someone to portray Jane as though she were sight-impaired.

What if the order they sing is the order of rides they went? What if they decided to go to their favorite rides first before going in other rides?

First, they went to the bumper karts (Ocean)

Then the Ferris Wheel (Noel)

After the Ferris Wheel, they went to the shooting gallery (Misha)

Fourth ride? The Gravitron (Ricky)

The next one is a mystery, but following some hcs, I think it can be the Carousel, The Teacups or the Swing ride (Jane/Penny)

Then the last one, The Cyclone (Constance)

The cyclone being the last ride they went for obvious reasons

thinking abt how people hate the lyric change of “will you love me till the day that i die” which is currently, “i wouldnt change my life for a thing” in sugar cloud but i love it because i feel as if it symbolizes the choir’s realization (besides jane) that no. they wouldn’t have changed their life. whether the changes they wanted prior be implausible or not. their life was theirs and they got to live it and remember it. they had a life to be remembered, people knew who they were. some people don’t ever get that. this is really evident when we see ocean right after sugar cloud, and we get it’s not a game/it’s just a ride with the rest of the choir.

AU, where the St. Cassian Chamber Choir boarded The Cyclone on Halloween, and they showed up in the afterlife in their costumes.

Ocean is dressed as Satan (well played), Noel is dressed as C3PO, Mischa is dressed as a hot dog with mustard, Ricky is dressed as Harry Potter, and Constance is dressed as Kermit.
