Y’all ever want to hear the dark side of this blog? It’s the fact that despite posting about classical music here, I was, *whispers* , a raging Kpop fan

Rules: put your music on shuffle and list the first 10 songs that come up and tag 10 people
thank you for the tag @nihilisticcondensedmilk been a while
Galileo - Indigo Girls
You're the Top - Cole Porter
Istanbul - Paris Combo
I Will Survive - Cake (fuck I totally forgot about them)
Poison - GOT7
Sorry - The Rose
Deja Vu - Ateez
Fiction - BEAST
Liszt Piano Concerto No. 2 - Berlin Philharmonic
I'm Going to Hell for This One - NOFX
I don't tag (always break the chain) but you should play if you want and tag me so I know what you're listening too.
I put ALL my music on shuffle so this was a crazy ride. I legit have mp2s hanging around that I ripped from hard CDs back in the day. I'm not claiming I still listen to this stuff, but I'm a bit of a digital hoarder.
I don't really follow bands so some of these may be dubious, or cancelled, or whatnot now.

Music Review: Bruckner's 9th Symphony performed by the Berlin Philharmonic
Tumblr media
Bruckner's 9th, like many classical compositions is done absloutley wonderfully by the Berlin Philharmonic. The first track is a wonderful, dramatic piece, and it's not necesarily bland, but it becomes repetitive after about 15 minutes, despite having multiple key changes, but still mostly being mostly driven by booming strings and lower brass sections. The second track is much more dynamic and jaunty, but it's still very dramatic. There are many more complex rythyms and has a 6/8 feel. Unfortunatley, the second track is also much shorter. The third track is very similar to the first, but more calm, being slower and more lyrical. Oboes and Violins are also more prevalent, and is even the driving force at times. It closes out the symphony calmly. Overall, it's a relatively compelling symphony done well as usual by the Berlin Philharmonic, as the Berlin Philharmonic does.
As of listening to this record, My top 10 list of records is as follows
I LAY DOWN MY LIFE FOR YOU - JPEGMAFIA
Spirit Phone - Lemon Demon
good kid, m.A.A.d city - Kendrick Lamar
Why Can't We Be Friends - WAR
DAMN. - Kendrick Lamar
Discovery - Daft Punk
TOTO - Toto
Random Access Memories - Daft Punk
Because The Internet - Childish Gambino
Stankonia - OutKast
I've ranked Bruckner's 9th below Stankonia because Bruckner's 9th does not convey as diverse a set of emotions, and the genre is less compelling.
Feel free to recommend music or challenge my top 10.

Igor Stravinsky (1882-1971) Russian Period
Igor Stravinsky was born in 1882  near St. Petersburg, Russia and died in 1971, in New York.  He is one of the most important and influential composers of the 20th century and a pivotal figure in modernist music. His compositions had a revolutionary impact on musical thought just before and after World War I, and he remained a cornerstone of modernism for much of his long working life.  Scherzo…
