I woke up to the patter of the rain. Eyes still gloomy I could barely see outside, got up from my bed, tied my hair up, splashed the water on my face. I looked out the window, I could feel the butterflies in my stomach and this time it’s not my anxiety.

Usually, I feel numb. My system would just shut down. I didn’t feel anything like that. If you ask, was I happy no I am not happy either!

I walked up to the kitchen, made a coffee for myself, while I sip my coffee sitting by my balcony trying to relax, I could feel the heaviness on my throat and felt like I am missing some major part. I couldn’t enjoy something I loved in my whole life. 

All those memories were hitting be bad, I never thought I could ever miss someone like this in my life as I do now.

 No, this time I didn’t self-pity or Blamed myself for something that wasn’t my mistake as I used to do but somewhere in the tiny part of my heart wished “If I could relive those days”
