I’m sick at the thought that Stolas saving Blitz actually proved to Octavia that her fears from Loo Loo Land were 100% valid!!

In the moment he did prioritize Blitz over Octavia. He was willing to sacrifice his life for Blitz without thinking that that would leave Octavia ALONE. He didn’t even pause to think how his actions would affect her. That she was also watching. How she would feel if he died. He put Blitz’ life over Octavia and it didn’t even hit him until the end of the episodes.

So now Octavia has confirmation that she ranks below Blitz. Now all of her fears have come true because Stolas has run off with Blitz and left her behind. He is someplace that Octavia can’t reach him. She will look all over the palace and won’t be able to find him.

And with Stella in her ear and Stolas unable to see her she’ll be alone with that realization.

And that’s absolutely heartbreaking.

my heart is hurting so much for rhaena in this episode. when rhaenyra commands her to go to pentos, and she just breathes out this "where my mother died?" and she sounds both so betrayed and so hurt, my heart broke for her. i get rhaenyra wanting to protect her sons, and the practicality of rhaena not having a dragon, but man that's gotta sting. rhaena's just lost her fiance and was visibly grieving an episode ago, and is now being asked to return to a place of personal trauma, to leave behind her entire support system including her sister, in a way that undoubtedly confirms her worst fear of being seen as useless because she doesn't have a dragon. it likely feels as if she was only viewed as being useful because of luke. and the only thing rhaenyra has to say is that she is sorry because... it breaks rhaenyra's heart to be away from her sons? nothing about all the ways in which this is likely breaking rhaena's heart? whew no wonder rhaena exited that conversation with such a frosty "your grace" i'd be a little pissed off too and that's an understatement
