thinking about how Nicole said Oscar doesn’t show it on his face or in his voice even when his heart rate goes crazy with anxiety/fear and how Oscar saw Lando go off in Vegas but remained calm when asked about it (also his race engineer didn’t tell him any more until after Oscar’s post race interviews) but then spent at least part of the night with Lando and then spent the whole of the night into early morning liking and replying and RTing content about Lando’s crash and Lando being okay and like the manifestation of his fear being held at bay to do his job until he could let go and actually touch base with Lando and process the crash properly <3

This painting reminds me of that night when we were off to Kufri and Google Maps took us to a route that was a dead end. When the car got stuck at the corner of the cliff, I actually had a flashback of my whole life and the timeline of our relationship. I got in the car and asked you to be out, mainly because if the car fell down, at least you would be alive. My parents would have accepted you as their daughter, I asked dad telling him the story of the night and he told me this. I pushed the ignition button and tried to reverse it the first time, and the car moved forward maybe just a couple of feet away from the cliff. My heart started beating at a supersonic speed, you screamed my name so loud "Aniiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii". I looked at you through the mirror because it actually felt like maybe this is it, I'm not gonna make it.

I looked at your face in the mirror, you were weeping already, scared as hell, I looked at that lovely face of yours, again the whole timeline played out in front of my eyes, and I said to myself "No, I have to fucking make it for you", I took the chance, pushed the ignition button again, put the reverse gear, and pressed the full accelerator pedal leaving the clutch at the half, slowly leaving it. The tires burnt, the RPM was so high, and I successfully reversed the car and it also started raining. You were relieved instantly, sitting in the car and hugging me. Telling me how much you love me, and how afraid you were, and if the car fell down you would have jumped after me.

If I died that night would you be silent like you are now? Would you not think maybe I should have loved him a little harder and listened to him? Would you not take a Chance?

I've seen people say that the reason Understand revived r!Ciel is because he doesn't want to lose any more Phantomhives (he even says this in the manga if I remember correctly). Then why wasn't he there to prevent the cult from sacrificing the twins?

Why was Undertaker late?

Because he failed to get there in time.

Since he was keeping tabs on Sebastian and our earl, he managed to get to Kelvin's Manor in time to see it (the manor and rebuilt sacrificial venue) burn. And no one was stopping him from traveling by carriage with real Ciel along for the event... though I can tell that John Brown on the other cliff was watching him and real Ciel.

Whether Undertaker was traveling to the original sacrificial venue alone (using reaper traveling abilities) or by carriage (or some other slow method), someone or something likely created obstacles for him. If no one was in his way, then it was simply harder for him to figure out where to go and when back then.

It makes a huge difference when you are already tailing someone and have a bunch of leads. Originally, he might not have had much information to go on.

When I look up into the dark, midnight sky, I see dozens of shimmery, shining stars. Those stars have me thinking back to that night in your bed when the room was only dimly lit by the bedside lamp. When I roll over your hands cling to my hips like a magnet, my eyes drift along your shoulder, to your chin, to those eyes. Those beautiful light blue pools twinkling and twisting into my memory. That's when I knew I loved you and I'll remember this night til I'm standing in front of a crowd reading you my vows.
