Spidersonas for my beloved OCs June and Keenan!
#oc#my ocs#spidersona#june#keenan#linae#elliot#They are twins! And they’re spiderpeople! No idea why the spider bit both of them but that’s just how it has to be for the story to work#Linae and Keenan have been best friends since childhood and they’re also both in the newspaper club#But since these spiderpeople appeared Linae has decided to find out everything about them and keeps writing articles about them#Keenan wants to be supportive but also can’t be too close because she can’t figure out their identity#So the dynamic is a lot like in Miraculous with Alya and Marinette#except theyre also childhood-best-friends-not-quite-in-love-except-they-are-but-neither-can-say-anything-because-that-could-make-it-awkward#And then there’s also the problem that Keenan can never ever get too close to Linae when he’s being a spider person#because she would absolutely recognise him! But she’s also the daughter of an important person in the city so that puts her in danger#Thankfully there are two of them so June could probably save Linae if it ever comes to that and not get recognised?#But it’s still a thing keenan has to worry about a lot#June doesn’t have as many problems with being a superhero— life is great and she’s managing her life-superhero life balance pretty well#That is until she finds out about the spider verse where she meets Juliett and oh my god how can one spider person be this annoying

RULES: repost, don’t reblog. just pick a muse of yours and fill it out.
MUSE: Juliette Ophelia St. James
— basics
▸ is your muse tall/short/average? Juliette’s a tiny bab. She’s only 5′0″
▸ are they okay with their height? For the most part, she is alright with being small. She has never known any different, and heels generally are helpful. She never has to worry about any man she meets being shorter than her (generally, of course there are exceptions.) Mind, that is usually an issue on his end. Julie isn’t too bothered by anyone’s height.
Unless she can’t reach to hug them, that is.
No, she does not mind her height, she wears 3 inch heels for the aesthetic more than anything. Though she doesn’t appreciate the short jokes, or when people assume she’s a child.
▸ what’s their hair like? Her natural hair color is ginger, and tends to be curly. Juliette dyes it black in most verses, and styles it in loose curls or straightens it on a rare occasion.
▸ do they spend a lot of time on their hair/with their grooming? Juliette has a very long routine. She does a full face of makeup, her hair is always perfectly done, her nails are always painted, everything has to be perfect. A long day could take her 3+ hours to get ready. On a day where she truly does not have time, though, she will at least put on mascara and some lipstick.
▸ does your muse care about their appearance? Julie is obsessed with her appearance. It is what she throws a lot of her identity into. Her colors have to be soft, to offset the unapproachable vibe she thinks her muteness puts off. The lace covers up her scars. The perfectly pressed outfits tell everyone she has her life together (she doesn’t.) Short skirts when she’s anxious about feeling accepted are her way of screaming “I AM STILL A SEXUAL BEING! NOT A CHILD!”
A lot can be picked up from Juliette just based on her outfit that day.
The bows?
The hairbows are a throwback to when her father would bring her back trinkets from various business trips. Her favorite is a large, jeweled hairbow made of silk.
▸ does your muse care about what others think about them? Juliette cares quite a bit. It is what she bases her self worth around. She does have a rebellious streak, but overall, she is very interested in other’s perception of her.
— preferences
▸ indoors or outdoors? Indoors. ▸ rain or sunshine? Sunshine. ▸ forest or beach? Beach. ▸ precious metals or gems? Gems. ▸ flowers or perfumes? Flowers! ▸ personality or appearance? Personality, but Juliette isn’t perfect. Appearance helps. ▸ being alone or being in a crowd? Alone. ▸ order or anarchy? Order.. ▸ painful truths or white lies? White lies. ▸ science or magic? Science. ▸ peace or conflict? Peace. ▸ night or day? Night. ▸ dusk or dawn? Dawn. ▸ warmth or cold? Warmth. ▸ many acquaintances or a few close friends? Close friends. ▸ reading or playing a game? Reading.
— questionnaire
▸ what are some of your muse’s bad habits? Fussing with the hem of her clothes, sitting on things not meant to be sat on, picking her scars, twirling her hair around her finger, rocking back and forth, leaving her laundry all over her room.
▸ has your muse lost anyone close to them? how has it affected them? Juliette lost her dear friend and neighbor Ms. Jamie when she was a teenager. Ms. Jamie was basically a second mother to her, and was one of few people who actually paid mind to her, so it was a hard blow on Julie. She became reclusive and a little bit rebellious after Ms. Jamie’s death, and tended to reject her mother during this period.
This is when she and her sister started to fight really badly, escalating to Juliette throwing things at Isabelle and screaming at her. Now, more than ever, is when Juliette’s bad temper really showed itself.
▸ what are some fond memories your muse has? Ice cream sundaes on bad days (or good ones!) with @sexybrute. The day her father took off of work for her birthday and took her out for a “Dad and princess,” day. When her father would sit her in his lap and teach her how to speak Gaelic. The days when she first learned to play violin. When she first started painting, and her eighth grade art teacher told her that she was very talented.
Of course, there is also the day she met Ms. Jamie, and she invited Juliette in for tea and started a wonderful friendship.
▸ is it easy for your muse to kill? Absolutely not. Juliette cries at ASPCA commercials. She has a miserable time killing spiders in her apartment, and usually tries to catch and release them. For a girl who is absolutely fine with working with the dead, she absolutely cannot kill.
▸ what’s it like when your muse breaks down?
(SELF HARM TW!) It starts with dead silence. No small sounds like she usually makes. Her entire body is stiff and still.
Then the tears. Her lower lip wobbles and she digs her nails into her arms. The whimpering starts. Her body starts to shake.
It escalates, she’ll find the lowest point in the house (usually the floor) and lay there and just cry. Time passes, and she gets antsy, she starts pacing and sobbing, usually slamming doors and screeching at random intervals.
At the height, she’s screaming at the top of her lungs, until her vocal chords give, and she slamming her fists into things and desperately seeking something to hurt herself with.
She self harms, usually on her thighs, and de-escalates back to just laying on the floor and crying, borderline catatonic depending on how bad it gets.
▸ is your muse capable of trusting someone with their life? Yes, absolutely.
▸ what’s your muse like when they’re in love? Her love is gentle. She will trace your scars and kiss them. She will love you all the same. She will forgive the worst of sins, think everything ugly inside is beautiful, and weave flowers around the hurt.
Her love is fierce. It is protective, as if she isn’t tiny and fragile. It is angry, a curled fist should someone wrong you. It is strong, something that drives her and gives her the strength to fight when she normally would back down.
Her love is strong. It does not just give up.
Her love can be destructive. She will destroy herself to make the one she loves happy.
Her love is patient. It will wait, if it makes her partner happy.
Her love can heal both her and her partner, if the right circumstances arise.
