Idk if you ship AllEraserMic, BUT:
Yagi is sad/grumpy bean bc he feels like he’s not getting enough attention in the relationship so he ignores his partners and avoids them. Then they ask him to go on a date, then he makes some snarky comment and that triggers tickles and eventually a conversation where they talk and make up! >w< No more grumpy Yagi
If you do not ship feel free to make it platonic!
(AllEraserMic is one of my favorite pairings, actually, both in platonic or romantic scenarios. They're just so adorable and cute together <333. Well, thank you for your asky! I hope you like this! :DD)
Warnings: Angst, hurt/comfort, mouth tickles, Ler!Hizashi, Ler!Aizawa and Lee!Yagi. Romantic Pairing. Lack of communication. Happy ending. Cheer up tickles
[~*~]
"Toshinori." The one being called felt the careful way Hizashi pronounced the name, getting close to his form and that made clear that the conversation he has been avoiding for days now was inevitable. Shit. "Toshi, that is the third time you canceled our date this month, what happened?"
"I thought you were going to visit the new restaurant close to UA, today." He deflected, not really answering, not really not answering, too.
“We decided against it. It is no fun if you aren’t there, ya know?” Hizashi tried a more upbeat tone, trying to mask at least part of the worry in his sentence, this realization made the other hero’s stomach turn, especially when he couldn’t stop the way his own expression turned in a frown with those words. Without even prying his eyes away from the tests he was grading Yagi knew that such reaction didn’t go unnoticed by the other two, especially with the way Aizawa drummed his fingertips on the door’s frame, where he was inclined.
And it wasn’t fair. He knew it. It wasn’t totally fair to avoid his partners just as he has been doing on those days, expecting them to know exactly not only what was wrong but also how to comfort him. The thing is: it was hard. It was very hard to listen to them laughing and recounting their stories and shenanigans of old Yuuei’s days on the teacher’s lounge, where they would playfully poke fun at each other and talk about how they both were probably responsible for a bunch of teacher’s retirement and, sitting there, smiling, drinking tea and humming in agreement on appropriate times, Yagi couldn’t help but feel…
Left out.
He didn’t have the history both Aizawa and Hizashi had with each other, and that made a mix of feelings - the ones that left you afraid of what would happen if you just let them out - boil in his blood. That is why he began to slowly pull himself out of their activities.
(And a part of him continued to wish with all his might that they would realize his plan, see behind his façade and ask him to come back.)
However, he missed them. He missed Aizawa’s soft touch and Yamada’s ringing laughter. He missed their mess when they insisted on cooking together and the fake fights they had over who would choose the movie they would watch. All of this, together with how much he trusted them and knew, deep down, that what he was doing was just dodging the problem, made him grumpy. Extremely grumpy, even if most of the time the former number one hero managed to keep all his snappy comments to himself.
“Toshi…” It was the warm touch of Hizashi’s hands on his shoulders that made it. It gave him a reminder of what he could enjoy if he just told them.
Before he even realized the words were already coming out of his lips. “Well, that didn’t seem to be a problem before.”
Wide eyes, Yagi’s head snapped upwards, staring at his partners, locking his gaze Aizawa’s stared him back, concentrated eyes, watching him as he was a puzzle he was trying to resolve before traveling his glare to Yamada, wincing at the surprise and worry that now freely danced on his face.
“I,” His words stumbled for a few pieces of second, trying to repair what he said. “I- That was- What I said was unnecessary… I will make dinner right now.”
But Aizawa angled his body so he was between the tall blonde and the room’s door, arms crossed, eyes still searching.
“We can order something later, what we need to do right now is stop running around the problem and talk.”
“Direct to the point…” His shoulders slumped, suddenly tired. “As expected from the pro hero Eraserhead.”
And then something softened on the other’s gaze. He moved forward, taking his hand and running his thumb on Toshinori’s palm, leading to something on Yagi’s chest also get softer.
“This is not a thing I am saying as Eraserhead, this is me as Shouta wanting to understand what is happening, which can’t happen if you don’t communicate.”
Yagi could see how honest he was being. He could feel his own barriers start to crumble right here and now, against his own internal battle.
Hands came back to rest on his shoulders, he turned around only to find the Voice hero’s vivid eyes locking their gazes together, care shining strongly on them. “We’ve been missing you, Toshinori, and we want this to work, so, please?” Thumbs began to softly massage the base of his neck and that was the moment he basically melted, pretending to not notice how smug Yamada’s expression got at his reaction. “Now, can we stop being a grumpy pants and chat for a bit, pretty please?”
Aizawa snickered, heading them to their shared bed.
“Not grump.” He grumbled half heartedly, a part of his soul feeling much lighter that they didn’t immediately kick him out for showing a negative emotion.
Talking about that. “I am… truly sorry for snapping and avoiding you. That wasn’t very mature of me.”
“I forgive you.” Hizashi smiled reassuringly at him as Aizawa nodded. “Let’s just try to talk before something like that happens again, ok, my favorite listener?”
“I promise I will do my best.”
Hizashi hummed happily and lowered his head to give him a quick peck on his lips. Yagi then turned to Aizawa, eyes gleaming. The black haired hero huffed and rolled his eyes, not unkindly, before also giving him a kiss.
And then they talked and talked and talked.
“Urg. Feelings.” Aizawa threw himself face first on the mattress, groaning in protest when Yamada was quick to follow him, rolling on his back just so he could lay on the right side of Toshinori, successfully sandwiching him between the youngest heros.
“Tell me about that.” Yagi chuckled, pulling his partners close with a content hum, feeling much lighter now than in the last three weeks.
“I don’t know…” Yamada made two of his fingers walk on the right side of the blonde. “I think grumpy All Might had its advantages. It was quite cute.”
“Hizashi…” A couple of titters painted his words, making the other’s grin grow bigger. His fingers started to walk higher, resting and vibrating on his lowest ribs “No!” The Symbol of Peace snorted, his body squirming and trying to escape the attack. “No, Hizashi, it t-ti-tickles!”
“What? No, no, sir!” Yamada laughed, his other hand shooting to tickle his right armpits, making the former number one hero gasp, wiggling from one side to another with louder giggles, trying to escape from one offending hand only to throw himself to another one. “Do you think you can escape my affectionate attack, huh, do you? No, no, my darling. You’re going to receive all the tickly-tickly-tickles for ever and ever until you remember very well how much we love you, right, Shou?”
Yagi’s eyes widened and he turned around, a gigantic wobbly smile plastered on his face and shiny eyes staring directly at the black haired one, who tried his best to not look too fond at his partner’s silliness. Yagi’s hands were quick to tangle themselves with his, huffs of laughter and squeals cutting and mixing themselves on his words.
“Sh-shouta, s-s-stop- stop him!” A snort flew through the air and Toshinori felt the tip of his ears burn. “Plehehease help!”
Aizawa looked at him for a moment before letting a smirk take over his expression.
“Since you asked so nicely…” His arms wrapped around him, being careful to avoid his injury, and he shoved his face on his so-sensitive neck, resting a series of buzzing, unbearable raspberries on the awfully ticklish spot. Yagi shrieked. “The sacrifices I make for you two.”
“Help me, not him!!” Tears began to collect on the corner of his eyes, loud, happy chuckles flying across the room as fingers wiggled and scribbled on his tickle spots and nibbles and raspberries made all his nerves tingle in joy, teases also dancing through the air and leaving a trail of warmth on his cheeks and heart.
And, in this moment, being hugged by two of the most special people in the world for him, Yagi Toshinori felt loved.
