recently, i’ve been reading bell hook’s “communion: the female search for love” and idk if you’ve read it already, but it’s something i think you would find interesting! it talks a lot about our cultural ideas of love and romance, as well as the ways in which that can be disappointing (esp. for women dating men)

Omg ok I’ve never committed to reading a bell hooks book before but this synopsis is making me want to buy a copy rn. I am a 21 year old w a stacking pile of disappointments by men I think I could make use of this
