ok uhhhhh so after getting real sleep st relatively reasonable hours i have realized building the culture is maybe the starting point and like.. maybe not doing the whole planet bc honestly what am i even going to do with all that space
and where would it end am i creating ecosystems too (why am i like this)
YIPPEE SOLID DECISION. idk man atp i've just started doing small regions of worlds?? i think a fun way to think abt it is like as a game region like what is interestjng and fun for the story.what would be Cool to see what vision of environment smacks itself into your brain when u think about the vague theme or vibe of ur story. something like that perhaps
#asks#winter tag :)#i think there's a three-story concept or so that's like. these stories all take place in the exact same spot but they are centuries apart#so the culture and magic is rooted in an original story but then also it changes bc the world does too over time etc#that was FUN. i think that was an enya and thamarai thing actually ngl#it was every major character i had connected across some kind of very long timeline i think. ink cinematic universe real

Everybody drop everything i found the perfect patpran song!!
Okay i didn't find it, my bestie @sadbrokenkindle (who recently entered the fandom) found this beautiful edit and i don't even have words enough to describe just how perfect it is for PatPran.
So i'll just let the song and edit speak for itself.
You are the beginning. You are the end. You are all three manifestations of time.
You are the ocean. You are also the shore. You are even the wind.
Whenever a corner of my heart is wounded...
...there’s not a day I don’t think of you.
There are many mirages on my path but no shoulder to lie on.
There’s just no one like you.
You are an infinite river. The one that I drown in without swimming.
You are the moon in the sky. But I’m the one that's waning.
You are the sea. You are also the shore.
Like a clock that stopped ticking. I was at an absolute standstill.
I wore a beautiful mask for others eyes
When a smile that was quite enough my dear.
I made this song for you to hear.
Tuned to your favorite scale.
I gathered all your lightning gold smiles, strung them together and wove them in between.
You are the beginning.
You are the end.
****************************************************************************************
YES!!!
I KNOW!!!
I AM SHOOK TOO!!
YOU MUST CHECK OUT THE VIDEO. The song by itself is just wonderful. Go go go NOW :

You are the beginning. You are the end. You are all three manifestations of time. You are the ocean. You are also the shore. You are even the wind.
Whenever a corner of my heart is wounded, there’s not a day I don’t think of you. I am hardly myself anymore. There are many mirages on my path but no shoulder to lie on. There’s just no one like you. You are an infinite river. The one that I drown in without swimming. You are the moon in the sky. But I’m the one that's waning.

like just.... oof..... okay so basically. i do not think the magic system has changed much. but we have a bit more about thamarai's family and history, namely that they moved from fantasy sri lanka to fantasy cambodia and they have a long history of weaving, and thamarai is the oldest of three siblings, and also thamarai's mom died due to sacrificing things for what she believed was the greater good and thamarai was sent reeling -> ran away for two years. she would never have come back to this country if her and her sisters' grandmother figure had not passed away and she wasn't stupid enough to miss the funeral. but like her entire thing is she is so torn by grief and so terrified to love and care and become attached to people again, and the responsibility of being an older sibling and YET. the knowledge that she left her sister behind to take care of everything. and YET. this person who's so hardwired to make her care more than she has in years. YOU KNOW??? FOAMING AT THE MOUTH???
OMGGGGGGGGGG i am in love wiht your brain and your worldbuilding. thamarai is literally my darling i love her SHE MEANS SO MUCH TO ME
#ink you actually manage to like completely blow me away with your mind everytime we speak HOW#ask#sun

The Cultural Impact of Sujatha’s Music
Sujatha story is a testament to perseverance, talent, and the unyielding pursuit of dreams. From her modest roots to becoming a globally recognized name in South Asian music, her journey is filled with moments of struggle, inspiration, and ultimate triumph. This article delves into her path to success, shedding light on the challenges she faced, the strategies she employed, and the milestones that defined her career.
Early Beginnings: A Passion Ignited
Sujatha’s love for music was apparent from an early age. Growing up in a small town steeped in rich cultural traditions, she was surrounded by the rhythms of folk songs and the melodies of classical compositions. These early influences shaped her understanding of music as both an art form and a means of storytelling. Despite limited resources, Sujatha found creative ways to nurture her passion, often practicing with makeshift instruments and singing at local gatherings.
Her family, though supportive, faced financial constraints that made it difficult to invest in formal training. Sujatha, however, was undeterred. She would spend hours studying the works of iconic South Asian musicians, learning from their compositions, and honing her craft with determination.
The First Break: A Moment of Recognition
Every artist dreams of a moment when their talent is recognized. For Sujatha, this moment came when she participated in a regional music competition as a teenager. Her soulful voice and emotive performance captivated the audience and judges alike, earning her the top prize. This victory was more than a trophy; it was validation of her potential and a gateway to new opportunities.
Soon after, Sujatha was invited to perform at cultural festivals and community events. These early performances helped her build confidence and expand her network within the local music scene. She also began collaborating with other musicians, experimenting with genres, and refining her unique sound.
Overcoming Challenges: The Roadblocks to Stardom
Like many artists, Sujatha faced her share of obstacles on the road to success. The music industry, while brimming with opportunities, is also rife with competition and challenges. For a young artist without industry connections, breaking into the mainstream was a daunting task.
One of her most significant hurdles was the financial strain of recording and promoting her music. Studio sessions, production costs, and marketing efforts required resources she didn’t readily have. To overcome this, Sujatha took on part-time jobs and sought sponsorships from local businesses, showcasing her resilience and resourcefulness.
Another challenge was navigating the cultural expectations placed on women in her community. Pursuing a career in music was not always seen as a conventional or secure path, and Sujatha often had to justify her choices to skeptical peers and relatives. Nevertheless, she stayed true to her vision, proving that passion and determination could defy societal norms.
Breakthrough Moments: Rising to Prominence
Sujatha’s big break came when one of her independently released songs went viral on social media. The track, a fusion of traditional South Asian melodies with contemporary beats, resonated with listeners worldwide. The overwhelming response caught the attention of industry professionals, leading to her signing a record deal with a major label.
With the backing of a professional team, Sujatha’s career began to flourish. Her subsequent albums and singles gained widespread acclaim, earning her a dedicated fanbase and numerous accolades. Tracks like “Thamarai Poovukum” and “KokkoRakko” became anthems, celebrated for their emotional depth and innovative compositions.
Digital Platforms: Expanding Her Reach
A significant factor in Sujatha’s success has been her strategic use of digital platforms. She embraced platforms like Spotify, YouTube, and Instagram to connect with a global audience, share her music, and engage with fans. Her ability to adapt to the evolving music industry landscape has been instrumental in her sustained relevance and popularity.
By consistently releasing high-quality content and interacting with her followers, Sujatha cultivated a loyal community of supporters. She also collaborated with international artists, further broadening her appeal and introducing her music to new audiences.
Impact and Legacy: Inspiring the Next Generation
Sujatha’s influence extends beyond her music. As a trailblazer in the South Asian music industry, she has inspired countless aspiring artists to pursue their dreams. Her story demonstrates that talent, when paired with hard work and perseverance, can transcend barriers of geography, culture, and circumstance.
In addition to her artistic achievements, Sujatha is known for her philanthropic efforts. She regularly supports initiatives aimed at promoting arts education and providing resources to underprivileged musicians. Her commitment to giving back has solidified her reputation as not just an artist, but also a role model and advocate for positive change.
Conclusion: A Journey Worth Celebrating
Sujatha journey from humble beginnings to iconic status is a story of resilience, creativity, and unwavering belief in her craft. Her ability to overcome challenges, adapt to changing times, and connect deeply with her audience has made her a beloved figure in the world of music.
For aspiring artists, Sujatha’s story serves as a beacon of hope and a reminder that success is not a destination but a journey. Her life and career are a testament to the power of passion, persistence, and the transformative impact of art. What do you find most inspiring about Sujatha’s journey?
