PTT Launched 'Double Joy at Less Visited Areas'
Traveling has become the trend during the past years and people have been craving for new and unique destinations to explore. Thailand Authority of Tourism (TAT) signs an MOU with PTT Oil and Retail Business Public Company Limited (PTTOR) and joins forces to announce a new campaign called “Double Joy at Less Visited Areas with PTT Blue Card.” The campaign aims to encourage Thai people to explore the beautiful culture and nature at less visited areas by giving a special points redemption programme for PTT Blue Card members to get special discounts for accommodation, fuel, and food. The campaign also announces Pattie Ungsumalynn as the presenter for the programme. Yuthasak Supasorn, Governor for Tourism Authority of Thailand, reveals that “TAT has been promoting tourism in less visited areas in Thailand. To further generate revenue and distribute income in local communities. In 2018, there were over 83.66 +4.89% visitors at less visited areas, grossing over THB 230,998.17 million +9.35%. This campaign is planned to become the prime drive for tourism business at those areas by offering special travelling experiences such as exclusive local adventures or cultural immersion programmes to bring back nostalgic sentiments to Thai people.” Jiraphon Kawswat, President and Chief Executive Officer of PTTOR, says “We are proud to say that PTT Blue Card which has over 4.5 million members nationwide and our ‘Double Joy at Less Visited Areas with PTT Blue card’ campaign are going to serve as the driveforce for tourism and economy at the 24 less visited provinces in Thailand. Which includes Chiang Rai, Petchaburi, Mae Hong Son, Prae, Sukhothai, Lampang, Nan, Samut Songkhram, Ratchaburi, Lopburi, Suphanburi, Ubon Ratchathani, Udon Thani, Nakhon Phanom, Loei, Buriram, Nakhon Si Thammarat, Trang, Chumphon, Ranong, Satun, Trat, Chanthaburi, and Nakhon Nayok. With the increasing interest in less visited areas, more travelers are expected to choose those areas as their main destination venues. Each province posesses unique culture, arts, and precious wisdom that are worth reserving for the future generation to uncover. PTT Blue Card, as part of the encouragement of this tourism, will be giving out special privileges to members who use their cards at over 1,000 stores such as PTT Station, Café Amazon, Jiffy, Hua Seng Hong Dim Sum, and FIT Auto in the less visited areas. Members will enjoy shopping and collecting double points from 1 July 2019 – 25 August 2019. PTTOR also surprises customers with a special promotion.
