I'm so excited to see how the movie handles their dynamic, because so far I'm only assuming that Starscream is in position of power (due to the throne behind him in that three frames of the trailer..), so I think its very likely that Starscream will be a big influence on his journey to transform into Megatron.

I have a vision where Starscream corrupt D16, swaying him into more and more extreme forms of violence, phrasing imperatives like it's a mere suggestion, similar to WFC Starscream where he uses his silver tongue to persuade Megatron to let him KILL. (In WFC Starscream urges Megatron to kill the Autobots they've caught, and initially Megatron told him "This war started as a revolution, NOT a genocide". But then Wheeljack used an Optimus Prime Quote™, Starscream approaches Megatron and activated his silver tongue: "Such disrespect! He insults you with the words of prime! Such trespass should not be allowed." And then... A few dialogues later, Megatron gives the order, "Execute them." …I confess I just want to see Starscream make Megatron as blood thirsty as him lol)

What would be even more brilliant is that what if Megatron wasn't purely affected by Starscream's words, but gradually on his own, his way of thinking slowly turns from simple revolutionary ideology that was inherently good, deteriorate into extremism and fanaticism, because he sees no other way to topple the power that oppressed him when he was D16.

And because of the Deception ideology that you can't "get" power, you must "take it", something that maybe Starscream would've told D16 as he preached at him and ultimately swaying him to join the Decepticons, it would absolutely drive me insane if Megatron used this on Starscream and force him off his throne.

Now I'm just curious whether this Starscream would be like "HAHAHAHHA YES I've created a monster, I'm so proud of him and myself mostly myself" and graciously steps off and lets Megatron take over, gleefully watching the killing machine he helped corrupt destroy the world etc or would he not see that coming, and suddenly the powerful little puppet he thought he could control forever is now overthrowing HIM, HIM, Starscream, who made D16 as who he is now?
