Was recently commissioned by someone in my Destiny 2 Discord server to do some custom emblems for some of the players in the server! I drew upon a lot of inspiration from a lot of different things to make all of these emblems. I had asked everyone what their favorite things in Destiny 2 are and I made these based off of that. This was a big step outside of my usual zone of design but it was a super fun project nonetheless! Thanks for looking!
P.S My commissions are still open!! I'm also taking custom emblem commissions too!

Do you know if Tex machanica was around before the collapse?
We have no information on it right now. Earliest mentions of the Tex Mechanica is from the City Age. It might be possible that there are some early roots from before the Collapse, but we have no confirmation about it.
We know that Hakke was around pre-Collapse, from the lore on Revision Zero. We also have some indication that Daito was also initially a Golden Age foundry. Given that Hakke and Daito we know today come from a pre-Collapse companies, it's definitely an option that Tex Mechanica and maybe others as well may have also come from before. So far it's not confirmed, but if you'd like to play around with speculation or if you need it for a fic or something like that, it would certainly be possible.

Thanks to Bungie I can finally see myself in Destiny. My warlock now has high heels and big boobs, and it’s like looking in the mirror.

So....
We know that the civilians watch the crucible.
I started wondering what that looks like.
Cos we obviously see it from person to person, sometimes when we're dead we can follow behind an ally kind of thing, but what does the average civilian see?
It's easy to imagine that they get an overlay and an external view, but I'm not sure about likely camera placement. Drones, easy, but where? Probably some Guardian cams feeds, for specific moments, but those are likely too chaotic and unclear.
Overlay would likely contain a map of the entire arena, like our radar but with a little more detail and markers of Guardians, likely our emblems, maybe with numbers assigned for the match. The little X when we die, like on our radar.
Rise suggested things like the overlay on the ESPN football games, where they mark the down line and project sponsor logos and shit, so we could imagine Tex Mechanica or Omolon symbols cast on walls.
Things like highlights, replays, slow-mo recaps; those intro scenes and player stat screens. Deadliest Guardian, scored the most points, etc.,
Between matches, things like interviews or player profiles, screens showing our ELO with full career and seasonal stats.
Did wonder how much gore is standard. Like if they only show a cleaned up (not clean, but just less brain on the walls) version for civilian feeds. I know everyone has seen it, but still.
Or if there's an actual league with team lists and known players and how far that not-fandom would go, like with trading cards.
Anyway, I had fun with the thought

idk if there's anything about it in lore since the two weapons i got don't have any aside from their flavor text, but we've got a new weapon foundry: Nadir! i'm curious to see what their "gimmick" is like Omolon with their liquid, Veist with their stinger/bite motif, or Tex Mechanica with their wild west vibe, because there's not really much to go off of from their intrinsic trait "Nadir Focus". i also wonder if we'll be getting an exotic weapon designed by them in the near future

FUCK TEX MECHANICA
ALL MY HOMIES HATE TEX MECHANICA
SUROS cannot officially comment whether or not Tex Mechanica is a corrupt company so overturned by scandal that their only reason for survival is a nostalgic aesthetic and famous clients
We only ask that you search for a product that is
Deadly. Efficient. Fashionable. SUROS
Elegance amidst Brutality

My dnd character for my friends campaign, a human rogue keeping his name hidden, but someone in the party named her Wreith so they went with that.
Also their gun (yes the base of it is traced I cannot draw firearms, though you get twenty gold pieces if you guess what game the gun I traced it from is, twenty more if you guess the exact gun (hint: Tex Mechanica))

Hey so I had some ideas for exotic snipers because I really want snipers to be viable in pve since they’re really fun and their vibe is cool.
NIGHTSHADE (mushroom themed, void element)
Spore Cloud- shooting this weapon doesn’t remove invisibility, gains ramping damage buff for every final blow done while invisible
Chronic Infection- every final blow gotten while invisible adds five seconds to the invisibility timer
Catalyst- final blows while invisible grant one ammo to the mag
Overall I just want a sniper that fits the invisible sniper vibe, and i think this would be a cool way to do it. Also mushrooms are cool, no arguments there.
RAVENS EYE (Tex Mechanica but kinda gothic design, kinetic element)
Scavenged Munitions- precision final blows create special ammo bricks that only the guns holder can see. Picking these up reloads the magazine.
Shoot to loot- shooting ammo bricks or orbs of power collect them for you.
Catalyst- After getting ten final blows, in a single life, without manually reloading once, precision final blows create a kinetic explosion.
This sniper would be by no means meta, but it’s one I would love since I hate reloading and I like the idea of a sniper that leads into the fantasy of mowing down an entire hoard one by one.
CHAINFORGE (Think osmiomancy gloves but covered in chains, stasis element)
Will Binder- defeating a frozen target sends the gun into a rage, making all of its shots shatter targets regardless of frozen status.
Shackle Genesis- shatter multi kills with this gun spawn a stasis turret.
Catalyst- shooting any stasis turret will buff it, doubling its firing speed for fifteen seconds
Would you like an ad clear sniper that also absolutely demolishes overload and unstoppable champions all in one exotic? Well here you go. If you think this is too strong, shut up it would be soooooo fun to play with and also there are so many other things it would be on par with.
If you are a bungo dev please make these real I will give you a crisp high five, I really like snipers but the exotics either being boss damage or pvp based is so boring.

Other Crucible Feed Stuff
Rise and me were talking, and we came up with a few things.
Basics include
Normal mortal human commentators would end up more popular than some Guardian ones, just on merit of point of relation. Guardians find these interviews kind of funny, because they don't think about half that stuff.
Trials is not televised. It's certainly recorded, but nothing about anyone running Trials has ever seemed like the type that would make a show of it like Shaxx. (this runs counter to my own fics, but whatever.)
The novelty cards involved would indeed be gamecards, not just trading cards, and would change depending on the Guardian's current course on the career. (This is Rise's. I liked the self-updating but I'm still on the, trading cards like old baseball cards thing)
There are segments between matches that host a variety of entertainment
In this we have "When Looks Can Kill", a segment dedicated to fashion snobs being catty and giving genuine advice on looking good.
This show features a Hot or Not with a three-judge panel who debate sets put forth by the wearers. This one is known to be brutal, and only the toughest of egos dares to set foot in this arena.
It also has helpful guides to individual steps in making your armor Look Good, shaders that pair well with one another, and how to present an idea/theme/costume with each class's armor.
Another segment is the Crucible Breakdown hosted by a Cryptarch and occasionally other guest-hosts.
On this show, the Cryptarch explains the mechanics behind certain weaponry or armor, sometimes getting into irritatingly boring detail.
The Eliksni who crafted Riiswalker has made an appearance
Tex Mechanica and Omolon promoters love this bit, but are only allowed one appearance a week each.
Guardians who are particularly good at wielding certain guns have made appearances, but these are surprisingly unpopular and underwhelming
Stopping here, might come up with more later.
