The fuck when you realise that Terra lied to Aqua in KH 0.2. She asked him if he was safe and he said that he thinks so. But in reality he was actually imprisoned in the Guardian and being tortured. :'(

What’re your favorite kh ships?

If I'm being honest... I really only true ship SoKai these days (my forever OTP). Mainly because I feel like that's the only one I can really ever see actually being canon (well, aside from Yozora and Nameless Star, and I also ship them: a lot of that for Versus XIII reasons. My heart won't let go). And, I mean, not that a ship needs to be canon for me to ship them. Not at all. But I'll admit that I've grown out of some of the KH ships a wee bit, as I've found more adult ones in other fandoms to get invested one.

That being said, the KH ships that I do still care about are:

Namiku

RokuNami

Terqua (though it seem these days the kids call it Terrqua. Or Terraqua?)

I'm warming up to Replinami some these days, because of the tragedy of it all.

I've also started to warm up to Rion a wee bit... that past Shanna thought she'd never see.

I could do XionRoxasNaminé. NamiXI, too.

VenAqua slightly, but I'd always choose Terra and Aqua over it (but one thing about the Wayfinder Trio for me, if I'm being truthful, is that I prefer the three of them as friends before any romance with any of them. Part of me even really thinks all three of them are truly just meant to be friends.)

A lot of people ship Ven and Strelitzia for some reason. And I doubt it'll ever happen, tbh. Who knows if they'll ever even really get a chance to meet and be friends. But I do get why they think it'd be cute.

And while I don't know if I truly ship them anymore, a part of me will always have a soft spot for Ventus and Naminé. Because for some reason, I really used to ship this crack pairing, back in the day.

I also don't really know if I ship them... but despite what I said above, I do get the feeling that Nomura might be doing something with Lauriam/Marluxia and Elrena/Larxene.

Ven trying to get aqua and/or terra to make a move already after sora gets back (it’s been over 20 years and that’s just the amount of time he’s been aware of it) => Ven teaming up with sora to get them somewhere => Ven teaming up with aqua and terra to get sora to make a move

Do you play Kingdom Hearts? I love that game! Who's your favorite character? Mine is Aqua. :D

i used to!! not so much anymore, the fandom kinda became clique-ish and it turned me off entirely. you ever notice how all the kingdom hearts zines are run by the same few people?? yeah.

there was also the fact that i loved playing khux and used to spend hundreds of dollars monthly on it but it felt so grindy that i eventually just quit. then it shut down, rip.

however, i do still love my favorite ships from the series. sokai, terqua, rokushi, rokunami, rikunami, akusai, namishi, roxiri, kainami, and aquarella are my favorites.

i actually got a blacksun (rwby) as rokushi (kingdom hearts) commission done a long time ago!!

it was my first game and first fandom so it'll always be close to my heart, i'm just not as into it anymore.

Terraqua things I love in KH3:

* Aqua looking sad when she’s hanging out with Ven in the Mysterious Tower world, because she’s (probably) missing Terra. And Ven noticing and cheering her up by taking out his wayfinder and saying that they can share stories when Terra's back.

* Ven mistakes Terranort for Terra in the Keyblade Graveyard, but Aqua knows it’s not him. <3

* Aqua raising her keyblade at Terranort in anger after he tried to play mind games with Ven. “Quit using our friend to play your games!” And then her awesome speech about how she's going to cast Xehanort out of Terra forever.

Aqua reuniting with Terra, and Terra telling her that she never stopped guiding his way back, implying that she is his light. I love how it looks and sounds so much like a love confession. <3

And finally, that moment in Scala in Xehanort's Heart, where Aqua becomes scared of losing Terra again and grabs his arm to stop him from confronting Xehanort. Terra then gives Aqua such a soft, gentle look like he's telling her to trust him and that he'll be okay. It's so sweet! :')

Here, is a daily, sweet scene between Terra and Aqua. My headcanon is both of them have nightmares of what they lived during the kh series, but due Aqua has PTSD, I think she is the one who can't beat her nightmares. So, Terra is taking care of her, preparing to her a herbal tea to sleep better and wishing her a good night.

You know what's interesting? All of my favorite Kingdom Hearts fanfictions, that I would consider epics, don't have the Destiny Trio as the main characters in them, for whatever reason.

"Those Without Hearts" https://www.fanfiction.net/s/3078506/1/Those-Without-Hearts is more SoKai, even though Riku is in it.

"White Knight" https://www.fanfiction.net/s/6277200/1/White-Knight focuses on the Wayfinder Trio, Naminé, and Vanitas. And while Riku, Sora, and Kairi are in it, they're pretty minor.

And "The Dark Rule"https://www.fanfiction.net/s/9899597/1/The-Dark-Rule-UNDER-REVISION has the other main Guardians of Light characters in it--even as main characters, I'd say, and SoKai as a secondary pairing there--but Terqua is definitely the main focus.

Does anyone have any really good canon/AUs--or universe alterations, I should say--that star the Destiny Trio?

Or I guess they don't have to be Canon/AUs and could just be plain AUs, but I prefer the former, tbh.

...Or has anyone found any really good KH fics in general lately? I haven't really been looking.
