To this day, one of the most romantic moments I’ve seen on film is the scene in “The Terminator” when Sarah gets her photo taken. Because earlier in the movie, Kyle Reese revealed John Connor gave him a photo of Sarah and that he always wondered what she was thinking about at the time. When Sarah had the photo taken, she was making a message to John about Kyle Reese being his father.

So when Kyle was wondering what Sarah was thinking at the time, it turns out, Sarah was thinking about him.

Say what you will about James Cameron, but you can’t deny this guy knows how to do romance.
