"Ten no Chasuke" unleash new visual poster and trailer with highlight from it's participation in 65th Berlinale. Starring Matsuyama Kenichi and Ito Ono, this fantasy movie tells you a love story between heaven and earth. Based on novel written by SABU who also direct it, the movie has it's world premiere at 65th International Berlin Film Festival. It also participate in 39th Hongkong International Film Festival on March 23 - April 6, before opens in Japan on June 27.

Director SABU adapting his own debut novel

SABU (Bunny Drop, Miss ZOMBIE) will direct a film adaptation of his own debut novel "Ten no Chasuke" with the help of Office Kitano. Casting is currently underway, and early indications are that we'll see a lot of familiar faces from the director's past work. The film is set in Okinawa and features a love story with a heavy mix of fantasy elements.

Ten no Chasuke goes to Berlinale 2015

Matsuyama Kenichi's upcoming movie, "Ten no Chasuke" that will be released on June 27th, 2015 have been decided to be officially screened at the Competition of The 65th Berlin International Film Festival (Berlinale) that is scheduled to be held from 5 to 15 February 2015.

It have been selected for the main competition for the Golden Bear and Silver Bear awards with the other films from many countries. (list here)
