Woman just called me (not the management company. who we pay to take calls now) to complain that the guy shoveling the snow right now (during the blizzard) isn't doing it the way she thinks he should and that he's an idiot. I told her I wasn't going to tell our contractor that a resident thinks he's an idiot and whether there was any specific action she wished me to take with this information and she, affronted, said she was just letting me know what's going on. I am going to go lie down in the snow until he shovels me away too

Hey y'all! Another weird question for you: How long do you have to fast for a blood sugar reading to count as a fasting blood sugar measurement? Also, does drinking soda (like, full sugar soda) slowly over the time before the blood test count as not-fasting? Asking because I keep testing* in the fasting blood sugar range when I am pretty sure I am not supposed to. Like, two hours after eating a meal when I've been slowly drinking soda the whole intervening time, or half an hour after drinking a whole full-sugar gatorade *with the home blood sugar test thing, not like doctor's office tests. though I test in the fasting range there too? I do know the word for the tester thing but I am brain fogged at the moment

It's as if he has the time to do so many things...

He says he is actually ahead on his work that he has enough time to join the tcg tournament when Paimon implied he must be slacking (which he took a bit of offense to lmao)

It's funny because if someone was doing a bit too well, it would make others feel like they could lax, which means that it's kinda Kaeya's fault the other knights are looking inefficient (to Diluc anyway...but does this imply that Diluc was equally efficient back then?)

Mond trio Diluc, Kaeya, and Jean being the most efficient knights sounds right.

I gotta get back into my new Age of Calamity file (been knitting and playing our second Tears file all the time), 'cause I am still soooo far away from unlocking Kohga and I need to get himmmm again. I mean I could just go in my old file and have him kill some vicious lynels to get my fix or something but. No I want to rebuild My Best Guy and see if I can possibly make him even more Best.

But. I mean.

That would be pretty hard.

(I accept the challenge but I gotta be patient and get through the 'let's destroy the Yiga Clan woohoo!' parts first astfglaslkfjsldfkj. I mean not that I hate those missions, I love fighting Sooga and Kohga as I have said before, and I adore the cutscenes involving them. But I wanna play as them even more, they're just so fun. Also I got sosososo lucky with Kohga's weapon drops last time so hopefully I will again this time too so I can make him an even better Demon Carver. If that's even. Possible. I will do my best! Glory to Master Kohga etcetc!)

Akira thing so i can pass her lore onto tumblr, I can't belive it's taken me this long to do this, what the fuck‼️‼️

So, Akira! She's an aspiring rockstar with seemingly infinite energy and an outgoing personality. She's super cheerful and friendly, tho her tendency to be physically affectionate to others tends to bother those who are fans of their personal space. She's a great listener and will attentively listen to and engage in conversations about any topic even if she lacks any prior knowledge or interest.

Most of Akira's shortcomings come from her being slow on the uptakes and her usual forgetfulness, which stemmed from an accident during the tragedy that caused the death of her biological parents when she was a baby.

She spent her early childhood in an orphanage that served as a shelter for children during the tragedy, which although not nearly as bad as the orphanage Akane grew up in, it was far from a great place to be in because it was pretty crowded with few adults to look over everyone and lacked a handful of resources (mainly medicine) because the tragedy just makes everything difficult.

As a child Akira used to be very reserved and somewhat timid out of feeling intimidated by all the other kids around her, which caused her to be picked on by her peers pretty frequently. When she was around 6 years old Akira started identifying as a girl, but she knew that if she told others at the orphanage she was trans the bully she suffered would worsen so she decided to run away from that place.

This was around the time the next generation symbols of hope started disappearing and the Kisaragi foundation was trying to track down Mikado and the voids before the situation worsened, so Ayame was out looking for clues on the missing folk's whereabouts when she stumbled upon Akira and decided to bring her back to the foundation since she knows how dangerous it is for small children to be on their own even if the tragedy is starting to die down (war flashbacks to the video Monokuma showed of Kinji's dead children after that trial)

While she intended to get this issue over with quickly by asking Akira some questions and looking for any living family members or an orphanage she could go to, this proved to be quite the challenge because Akira wouldn't tell her anything out of being afraid to be sent back where she came from. When Tsurugi brought up leaving her at a shelter while Rei's division tries to find something about her Akira immediately reacted negatively and pleaded for Ayame to let her stay with her, while Kinjo was certainly not happy with that idea, Rei convinced him to let Ayame look over the kid just until the intelligence division can figure something out about her.

Akira's reaction made Ayame really worried and while she did try to get her to open up to her a little more, her own awkwardness didn't help in that regard and Akira was still very reclusive while staying at her and Kizuna's apartment. And hey, speaking of her Kizuna was absolutely speechless when she got home and there was just some kid there now and even after Ayame explained what happened to her it still didn't feel real until the next morning when she woke up and the kid was still there-

And it didn't got much better between those two during the two weeks it took for the intelligence division to do it's job because Kizuna had no idea how to interact with a child and Akira kinda avoided her because she felt more comfortable around Ayame, since she was the one that found and brought her there in the first place, and the two startled to get closer to one another with Akira asking Ayame about her field missions in the foundation eager to know about all the details and how she got so strong to fight despairs pretty easily whenever had to rescue people, and from their talk she was able to get to know a little bit about Akira's life even if she was still very adamant in talking about it much.

Things changed significantly after Rei came in with the results of the search and the girls sat down with Akira to have a talk with her where they finally got Akira to open up to them about her upbringing, identity and why she had run away in the first place. They reassured her that she's safe and that this house is her home too and she doesn't need to act like she's an outsider there, subsequently Ayame and Kizuna agreed that they would act as fosters of sorts for Akira until they can find someone to adopt her since there's no way they'd ever send her back to the orphanage.

Truth be told Ayame really wanted to adopt Akira already but seeing as she already brought the kid home unannounced and by then Akira and Kizuna didn't really have a relationship with each other she didn't want to force her into becoming a parent, Ayame was ready to just visit Akira from time to time to see how she's going whenever she got adopted by another family.

This ended up never happening because now that Kizuna knew more about the kid she had an idea of how to break the ice between them; Akira struggles with gender dysphoria and wants to present in a more feminine manner? Well, no one knows more about feminine things than Kizuna Tomori! So she started bringing Akira to go shopping for more girly clothes and encouraging her to try out those kinds of stuff, it gave her an immense boost of confidence and soon enough she started breaking out of her shell and a lot of Kizuna's outgoing personality ended up rubbing off on her.

These two could be talking for hours and hours and it was from these moments that Akira started expressing more of her likings to the girls, like music and songwriting, and while Ayame felt a bit like a fish out of water next to them, all three of them were spending a lot more time together and after the events of Sdra2 they finally settled on adopting her officially :]
