HOORAY! We won Platinum! Thanks to all the judges!
2018 Modern Library  Platinum Award Winner - CircTRAK™ Shelf Management System
Every library knows that keeping the catalog  up-to-date saves patron frustration and preserves library funds wasted on  unnecessary replacements.
Tech Logic's CircTRAK™ Shelf Management  System saves countless hours of time spent checking printed reports to locate  materials shown in the catalog as lost, missing, trace, claimed returned, or  other exception statuses.
Libraries can  harness the built-in power of RFID to drive shelf management of the  collection. Every real-time scan of the shelves turns up materials in  exception statuses or materials that should have been checked in, placed in  transit, trapped for holds or were shelved incorrectly.
Tech Logic's  portable, ergonomically friendly CircTRAK™ Shelf Management System interfaces  wirelessly with an ILS to check real-time item status information for shelved  materials. Real-time means no more frustrating export and loading of lists.  Software easy enough for all levels of staff to use. No more fruitless  searches for materials that should be on the shelf - and no more shelving  mistakes that cause unhappy patrons and wasted staff effort.
Finally libraries  have complete control over how they'll use the magic of RFID for time-saving  during collection management.

EOY Hustle/Happy New Year!
Again, the Tech Logic Team convenes to finalize two more installs, Flagstaff, AZ and Garland, TX. This particular photo is special, because it has members from  Accounting, Engineering, Inside Sales, Programming, Support and Install!
We want to thank all libraries who made the most responsible choice in sorting over the past 20 years, and to wish you all, even those who aren’t clients yet, a Happy New Year - one that is prosperous, healthy, and full of love.
Plus had to include the cool vertical conveyance, yes? We call it a dragon head.....

Last week was our end-of year meetup at Tech Logic Headquarters and we were fortunate enough to have a visit from Keith Ryskoski, Director of the Washington County (MN) Library System @keithr91. He was gracious enough to spend a great deal of time giving our Solutions team insights on how to best understand innovation goals for libraries.
The takeaways were numerous. Keith shared out-of-the-box insights on technology and innovation - and specific examples of solutions he implemented at Washington County to keep them ahead of the curve. He used “We’re one-fifth of the way through the 21st century!” to illustrate the need to anticipate change when creating solutions.
Great stuff, for which our team is truly grateful. Thanks, Keith!

MY TEAM
Sometimes you have to look at your situation and realize how lucky you are. Here I am, fire in the fireplace, scallops for dinner. The marketing dude... @ home & cozy. But the people I work with back in Minnesota are hustling on the floor to make year end obligations happen. More importantly they’re doing it on a Saturday AND A SUNDAY. Today, Sunday! So out there, there’s libraries ready to launch, expecting the most responsible choice a library can make in sorting systems to show up on time and my teammates are welding, drilling, hammering, fastening, testing..... making sure it happens, As my wife says, “Like Little Elves!!!”. This is where people like me realize how lucky I am to be on a team that is willing to put in whatever effort it takes to succeed for libraries. It’s a beautiful place to work, these are good people and my gratitude doesn’t feel like enough.
More importantly the libraries receiving these sorters will have carefully built and tested equipment because the time was spent on making them so. People First!
