the two games where Links connection to Zelda is important to the plot both put an emphasis on her smiling
her big statues in Skyward Sword straight up mechanically sing
and also: Eyes are Ganon's thing (and by extension Demise)
Also the juxtaposition between the "classic Christian divinity" symbol of eyes on Demise/Ganon and the "classic eldritch being" symbol of mouths on Hylia would be pretty neat
